Try this tinted moisturizer for a glow!
COLOURPOP - Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Tinted Moisturizer I got this tinted moisturizer a while back at Ulta. I got it on sale for I think $9. It was so reasonably priced that I didn’t have very high expectations. I like using the bareMinerals - Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 but it’s much more expensive. I was very surprised at how well the pretty fresh tinted moisturizer worked! I like it just as much as the bare minerals. It provides nice light to medium coverage. It doesn’t have the spf like the bare minerals but I use a separate spf either way so I don’t mind! I definitely think the COLOURPOP - Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Tinted Moisturizer is worth a try, especially at such a great price point! Also if anyone is wondering I’m also wearing Kosas - Weightless Lip Color in Undone and Kosas - Color & Light: Pressed Powder Blush & Highlighter Duo in Contrachroma.

ten minute makeup! ⏰
hello everyone! today i am showing you this ten minute makeup look! its not too natural, but its natural enough to be able to wear anywhere☺️ lts also very easy to do! dont forget to follow and cheer for more😇 i personally have very oily and acne prone skin, and also very pale skin, so that can make it pretty hard to find a good foundation. my main concern is coverage and resistance to oil. my main goal with all of my makeup looks though is to highlight my eyes, as they are my favorite part of my face😄 so, i started with an oil-control primer, COVERGIRL - TruBlend Face Primer . they make different types of this primer, and i bought the mattifying one. one way to save time in your makeup rountine is to get a fast drying primer like this one! after that, i use a pretty decent amount of my all time favorite foundation, Juvia's PLACE - I am Magic Velvety Matte Foundation in the shade alexandria. this foundation is amazing! it has a semi matte, velvet finish, and is very high coverage. it lasts all day and comes in 40 different shades! next, i go in with my e.l.f. - 16HR Camo Concealer in the shade light peach. i put this under my eyes, and on my lid. i dont usually have to conceal any zits, as my foundation does that for me! i set all of this with my e.l.f. - Perfect Finish HD Powder , which helps control oil throughout the day. i then move onto the eyes. for this look i used a single shade from the COLOURPOP - COLOURPOP X Mulan Eyeshadow Palette called “imperial” above my crease and under the eye. i topped off my lid with a COLOURPOP - Colourpop Super Shock Shadow called “frog” to add dimension to my eyes. after that, i finished off with mascara. because my eyelashes are one of my favorite features, i never, NEVER, forget mascara. it makes my eyes pop! for this i use my favorite mascara, L'ORÉAL - Voluminous Original Mascara and i apply a few coats. i finished with a new favorite, COLOURPOP - Crème Lux Lipstick Hua Mulan . this lipstick is AMAZING! it has a lot of pigment, and its not too orange or too brown. its also not too dark but not too light. you know what i mean?😂 not only is the color very nice, but its extremely creamy. it feels moisturizing, not drying, even though its semi-matte. it also lasts for a long time too! 👄 and thats it!! this took me about ten minutes, and basically i just focused on making myself presentable😂lemme know your quick makeup rountine in the comments! #CheriePartner

My Makeup Journey - 1st satisfying full glam
I've been on a makeup journey for the past few months and I've been peaking in the last 2 weeks. I've become obsessed watching JuicyJas videos and buying lots of makeup! Some makeup was given to me from friends' ipsy bags, bought as Sephora with help from an associate (very beginning of journey) and a bulk was bought from Ulta, Walmart and Target based on reviews by JuicyJas and my own curiosity. This is my first really good, satisfying full glam look. I've had huge trouble with acne from one particular break out induced by stress about a month ago which really kickstarted my makeup experimentation. I used to wear barely anything but this breakout was super distracting and embarrassing as I am a scab picker and cannot leave things alone. My face has big red spots from picked scabs and dark scars. I have been doing this all my life and know they will go away and fade eventually. The skin finally almost healed. This whole look took about two hours which included my skin care routine, letting moisturizers and primers set, and washing sponges and cleaning brushes. As you can see I used a huge amount of products. They worked well to cover my acne and it was my first time doing a pink eyeshadow look. I loved it!! I only use a small amount of NARS foundation because it's pretty heavy which I don't like much but I do love adding a small amount over my troubled areas over my Maybelline foundation. I also used e.l.f. eyeliner tape to do the wing for the first time. It worked so well! I have been doing winged eyeliner for years and I'm still not very good at it so I was so happy to find out this product existed. I can do winged eyeliner but it takes much longer to get it just right without the tape. I'm excited for when I better at doing makeup and have less acne to cover up so I don't have to spend so much time getting ready but still get the same results. I am a very expressive person and would love to do full glam everyday! I love coordinating my eyes and lips with my outfits. I went to the movies with this look and wore a pastel pink beanie and pastel pink sneakers to match it. My next project is figuring out how to do my eyebrows!

trying flower beauty🌸
for awhile i’ve been wanting to try flower beauty bc i love drew barrymore and have heard good things about it. these products are also all cruelty free!!! i went to cvs yesterday and decided to pick somethings up!! here are my thoughts: FLOWER - Lip and Cheek Gel Crush i was really intrigued when i first saw this! i’m always looking for new blushes bc i love blushes and i am always searching for my new favorite. it’s super creamy and just the right amount of sheerness. i got raspberry crush and it smells exactly like a strawberry shortcake doll 💗💗 there’s also small sparkles which is soooo cute :) overall love this product, gave it 4 stars bc the color is lighter on the skin overtime but no big deal there’s still a rosy glow ✨ FLOWER - Petal Play Shadow Quad i saw these in the store and instantly fell in love. these quads reminded me of k beauty shadow quads bc they had beautiful shimmers! i got gilded lily and in bloom. i used the dark brown color in gilded lily as a soft eyeliner and i patted one of the shimmers on my eyes. such an easy cute look🌸 FLOWER - Color Shift Lip Smoothie i have really dry lips so it’s really hard for me to like lip products. they have to be super moisturizing and not irritate the skin around my mouth. this is just that. not only is it super silky, it gives such a nice gleam to the lips and gives you your own perfect pink. this formula adjusts to the pH of your lips in order to give you your perfect pink shade which i think is so coool!!! can’t wait to get more in the future✨✨ other products used (if ur interested in these i have other posts on my page discussing my opinions on them ❀): e.l.f. - Wow Brow Gel COLOURPOP - Super Shock Highlighter wet n wild - Mega Volume Waterproof Mascara

Are they dupes?! ✨
The COLOURPOP - Colourpop Blush Stix in Under Pressure and the Milk MAKEUP - Lip + Cheek in Perk are both beautiful coral shades. The price difference? Colourpop is $8, Milk is $28. Overall I would say that they’re both nice. But formulas are pretty different. The Blush Stix formula is more pigmented and on the matte side, the Lip + Cheek is very sheer and glowy. I like the @milkmakeup for an every day no makeup-makeup look. But if I want some pigment to pack a punch, I love the $8 Colourpop formula! I definitely wouldn’t pay $28 for the Milk (I got mine at TJ Maxx for $9) which I think is an acceptable price for this formula.

Super simple bedazzled eye makeup 🤩
I... 😳 didn’t think I’d like this look as much as I do! I think we’ve seen a rise of editorial makeup worn as everyday makeup since Euphoria aired and I’m 100% here for it. I’ve seen all my friends on Instagram experiment with cool colored liners, rhinestones and glitter and I am, as always, late to the party but guess what? I’ve arrived 😌 I got some rhinestones at a beauty supply and got down to business, I had no idea what I wanted to do, I just started placing the stones on my eyes (yes, on the hood of my hooded eyes 😜) using my trusted Sugarpill - Duo Eyelash Adhesive to stick them on and this is what came out! It’s such a cute, simple look in my opinion. I actually would wear this to go out, specially since wearing a mask pretty much hides the rest of your makeup, I feel a statement eye like this works great. I decided to keep the rest of my makeup pretty light, I thought it looked kinda model-esque and I love 😍 for complexion I used this winner trio: e.l.f. - Poreless Putty Primer + DIOR - Forever Skin Correct Concealer + UNDONE BEAUTY - LIP TO CHEEK 3-IN-1 CREAM PALETTE And my favorite lip duo: COLOURPOP - Crème Lux Lipstick in 21 questions and KYLIE COSMETICS - KYLIE COSMETICS High Gloss in Krystal. So, how did I do? Would you wear a rhinestone eye look out? 😌✨ #CherieCreator #CheriePartner

2021 Fashion Week Inspired Makeup - Chloé
This is the second spring/summer 2021 fashion week inspired look I did. Make sure to check out my other Cherie post for my Hermès look. This look inspired by Chloé focuses on smoldering, smudged out black-rimmed eyes, dewy skin, and juicy nude lips. The eye look was particularly interesting to me because of the blank spaces in the center of the model’s lower and upper lids. The base of this look is the same as my Hermès look. I’ve included the inspo photo that I found on Allure. Complexion: Glossier. - Futuredew Oil Serum Hybrid - this oil-serum hybrid is perfect for adding a glowy base on bare skin, under makeup, or over makeup on the high points of your face for a natural, yet wet-looking highlight. I used 1 pump all over my face under my skin tint, and a tiny bit dabbed on the tops of my cheek bones after my skin tint. $24 ILIA - Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 “balos” - light coverage to even out my skin tone and also amp up the dew. $46 e.l.f. - Hydrating Camo Concealer “light peach” - I used 2 tiny dots under my eyes to add some coverage. $6 AOA studio - Sculpt FX Contour “fawn” - the model does not appear to be wearing any cheek products; however, has beautiful, defined cheekbones. I don’t have defined cheekbones, so I used this to give a slight contoured effect. $1 Now the fun part! I used URBAN DECAY - 24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencil “perversion” to lightly outline the inner and outer portions of my top and bottom lash lines. I smudged this out with a pencil brush. Then I used the shade “black” from my LORAC - PRO Matte Eye Shadow Palette to intensify the smokiness. I made sure to keep the space directly in the middle of my eyes blank on both upper and lower lash lines. I then drew a thick wing on the outer corner of each eye, topped with black shadow, and smudged inwards. I couldn’t tell if the model was wearing mascara, but I added 1 quick coat of URBAN DECAY - Lash Freak Volumizing & Lengthening Mascara to add an extra pop to my eyes. For lips, I lightly blotted COLOURPOP - Ultra Matte Lip “little one” (limited edition, no longer available) to add a hint of nude to my lips. Then I topped with the ICONIC - Lip Plumping Gloss in “nearly nude” . This gloss is super glossy and wet looking - perfect for ultra juicy-looking lips! This look was so fun to create. Unlike the Hermès look, this isn’t something I would personally wear day-to-day, but for Halloween or the runway it’s perfect! It’s so hard not to smile in photos 🤪 #CheriePartner

Slay Your Next Zoom Interview!
Hey Cherie Sisters! 👯‍♀️ Times are changing and I know interviews are most likely being done via zoom nowadays with covid and social distancing. Here are some makeup tips I have on how to slay your next zoom interview. First of all, being on camera isn’t the same as being in person so how you would normally apply your makeup in person isn’t gonna look the same digitally. ✨ FACE •I normally would opt in for a natural looking foundation. However, since that cameras tend to wash you out, I would go for a medium to full coverage. I used my COLOURPOP - Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Hydrating Foundation •I say the same for concealer. I used my tarte - Shape Tape Concealer •Cream contour and highlight to give your face dimension on screen. I used FENTY BEAUTY - Match Stix Trioin the shade Mocha and Bamboo •Apply blush heavier than normal and go for a bright color. You want something on your face that pops and adding warmth to your cheeks will make you appear you have more life. I used MILANI - MILANI Baked Blush in Berry Amore ✨EYES •To appear wide awake, apply more eyeshadow than usual as well. Normally, I’d skip eyeshadow during interviews, but on camera you might look washed out so applying more than normal contours your eye shape. Use a matte medium brown shade for the crease. •Apply lots of mascara or even natural looking falsies. On zoom, you’re able to see the lighting and how you will appear on screen. Having voluminous lashes will add definition to your eyes and it will make them appear brighter on camera ✨LIPS I love using Rare Beauty - Lip Soufflé Matte Lip Cream in Courage! Applying a lipstick will make you appear more put well together ✨LIGHTING •I highly recommend a ring light. Bad lighting can be super distracting and while good lighting can make you a lot friendlier and more personable. •Make sure the light source is in front of you and not the side or from your back ✨JEWELRY Use subtle jewelry to add a little accent. I added silver earrings and a small black rectangle pendant necklace. ✨HAIR I guess this depends where you work, but if you have an interview for a corporate position, I recommend a low pony or a low bun. •if you prefer to wear your hair down make sure you can see your face clearly and your hair is out of your face ✨ADDITIONAL TIPS •Make you sure you use a professional virtual background. Having a messy background is distracting •Use headphones to cancel out random noises such as the fan and etc. •Make sure you lock your dog in the other room! I definitely made a mistake of not locking my dog and the guy who was interviewing me definitely asked me about his random barks. Here are some tips and tricks for zoom interview. I hope you find this helpful! Francesca 💋

Foundation causing you breakouts??
I don’t know about you all but for the past 20 years I almost never worse foundation because I always broke out. I just decided my skin didn’t like it and none would ever be ok to wear. It wasn’t until recently after knowing I am not the only one, to find out what the REAL issues were. It all boils down to prep, hygiene practices, and what is actually in your foundation! First, here are some tips you can do to actively prevent breakouts while wearing foundation. ❤️ Use a good primer. One that does not include and comedogenic ingredients and DOES include moisturizing properties. Primers act like a barrier between your skin and foundation. ❤️Don’t use your finger tips to apply! Even if you wash your hands you may not have removed all the germ 🦠 that can get mixed in with your foundation and on to your face. ( Ever hear someone say “don’t touch my face! You will make me breakout!”?) Yeah because germs and such... ❤️Wash your brushes and and change your sponges!!! You know we be cleaning out pillow cases on the regular. Don’t neglect your beauty tools! ❤️ Check the ingredients in your foundation. Chances are the big culprit is there. It’s all about the formula and what it does on your skin. ❤️ You may be using too much powder. If you have super oily skin then over use can cake your foundation and clog your pores. Here is a list of ingredients that are considered “pore-clogging”. ⭐️Coconut oil ⭐️Isopropyl myristate⭐️Cocoa butter⭐️Lauric acid⭐️Isopropyl palmitate⭐️Sodium laureth sulfate⭐️Wheat germ oil⭐️Cetyl alcohol⭐️Lanolin⭐️Acetylated lanolin alcohol⭐️Soybean oil⭐️Cottonseed oil⭐️Mink oil⭐️Decyl oleate⭐️Ethylhexyl palmitate⭐️isocetyl stearate⭐️Carrageenan⭐️Algae Extract ⭐️Red algae ⭐️Sodium chloride ⭐️ Potassium Chloride ⭐️Myristyl Myristate⭐️ Now these are just some. There is a full list with rankings of how bad they clog pores here: https://acnetreatmentcenterwa.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/pore-cloggin-ingredients.pdf Some foundations that claim to not contain comedogenic ingredients: ⭐️bareMinerals Original Foundation Broad Spectrum ⭐️Oxygenetix Oxygenating Foundation ⭐️NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation ⭐️Vichy Dermafinish Corrective Fluid Foundation ⭐️Cover FX Natural Finish Foundation ⭐️Becca Ultimate Coverage 24 Hour Foundation ⭐️L’Oreal Paris True Match Super-Blendable Foundation Makeup ⭐️Clinique Acne Solutions Liquid Makeup Foundation I currently use COLOURPOP - Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Hydrating Foundation Now it’s not horrible, it only contains one of the ingredients that are said to clog pores. And as long as I don’t wear it every day I don’t breakout too bad. It does contain some good hydrating ingredients and hyaluronic acid. But still it’s not full proof. So remember, if you have broken out with most foundations but there are still options to try? Don’t give up! Keep looking for your unique formula! Every beauty’s skin is unique! What works for me, may not work for everyone! 🥰

Candyland Eyes 🍭 🍬 🍦 💜💗
Hey Cherie Beauties, Happy hump day! I finally got to try the stuff I picked up from Colourpop X Candyland collection. I have mixed feelings about the eyeshadows in this palette and the super shock blush. The only thing I was impressed with was the Princess Lolly roller gloss and I was the least excited about that one... I love some of the shadows such as king candy and gramma nutty. Both were pigmented and blended nicely on the eyes. I can see myself using these shades on my neutral days. However, trouble started when I dipped in the color shades. Plumpy applied patchy and refused to show up on my lids. I tried using a brush, my finger and a wet brush but it was really patchy and I really had to layer it to show up. Rainbow trail was chalky and Gloppy were hard to blend and difficult to work with. The shade sugar high was nice though. I haven’t tried all the shades so I will probably use it one more time to decide if I completely hate this palette. I got the super shock cheek in Gummy More and it was a chunk of glitter on my cheeks. The smell was great at first, but after a while I found it to be overwhelming. I can see myself picking up this product if I’m going to a festival, a concert or out...which we know won’t happen any time soon due to the pandemic, but other than that I don’t see myself really picking this up again. The roller gloss was awesome because it felt so cold on the lips and it’s great for the hotter months at the moment. It is also scented, but it doesn’t get overwhelming like the scent in the super shock blush. Overall, this is the first Colourpop collection that I wasn’t in love with...the products were just okay...but then again pastel colors aren’t really up my alley so I can see someone who is in to colors being super in to this. On this look, I used: -King candy (transition) -Gramma nut (crease) -Gloppy (outer corner) -Plumpy (lids) -Rainbow trail (inner lid) -Sugar high (inner corner and brow highlight) -Graceland bff liquid liner -Creme gel liner in big splash and amethyst hour -Gummy more on the cheeks Are you in to pastels? Would you pick this collection up from Colourpop? 💙💜💖 🍭 Have a sweet day! Francesca 💋

“No Makeup” Look for Video Calls✨ #CheriePartner
Looking like I’ve put in effort before a video call is good, but sometimes I just want to look a little more “effortless” for my more casual calls. This is my go-to “no-makeup” makeup look for video calls when I want to look put together but not overdone! ESTĒE LAUDER - Double Wear Radiant Concealer I always always use a bit of concealer for my undereyes as they’re super dark (thanks mom!). This creamy concealer gives plenty of coverage and leaves a radiant skin-like finish. I apply a dot under each of my eyes and on any discoloration or acne scars on my face, and then blend it in either with my fingers or a fluffy brush. COLOURPOP - Brow Boss Pencil COLOURPOP - Brow Boss Gel Defining the brows helps to frame the face! I love these Brow Boss products from Colourpop because they’re inexpensive but perform just as well as any high-end brow products! The pencil is waxy but still creamy enough to show up in the brows. The gel is more of a whipped pomade texture and helps to lift and hold up the brows for a fluffy look! COLOURPOP - Super Shock Blush Adding a little bit of a blush to the cheeks AND to the outer crease of the eyelids will create a youthful look. I love this blush from Colourpop! It adds a natural radiance and color to the cheeks. GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow Lip Pop A glossy, tinted lip balm can also help to make you look more youthful and awake! This lip balm from Glow Recipe has AHA ingredients to exfoliate the lips and keep them soft. I also love the soft pink color that this gives the lips! What is your go-to look for video calls?

I actually surprisingly love this NYX - High Voltage Lipstick in the shade Twisted Purple. It’s a super fun color! I haven’t gotten around to trying this Colourpop concealer yet, but I’m hoping it’s better then their original. And this Floss lip gloss in YUL pretty much is clear and smells sooooo good, like frosting but not overwhelming.
