Current faves! ❤️
Here's my current faves for January that are makeup and skincare products: GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Cleanser & Makeup Remover - I'm so surprised at how well makeup comes off using this! It's amazing and I didn't have an allergic reaction to it (typically makeup removers cause me to break out or make my face red, hot and blotchy) L'ORÉAL - Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara in 201 black - I've been loving this mascara lately because it doesn't clump like crazy, it lengthens my lashes really well, and is so inexpensive!! HERO COSMETICS - Mighty Patch Duo - I've used the original ones twice on some pretty big pimples and just a few hours later they were ready to pop! Also, I wore them during the day and tbh they aren't really that noticeable, maybe it's because of my skin tone & how the color of the patches is similar. They also stay on pretty well and really do the trick. Glossier. - Balm Dotcom in fig - I absolutely love this flavor and it's definitely the one I reach for the most. I've heard mixed reviews about it, and as someone who hasn't even tried a fig, I now want to try one. (the flavor probably isn't the exact same but that's ok) MARC JACOBS BEAUTY - O!Mega Bronzer Coconut Perfect in 102 tantric - this is my favorite bronzer ever and it's such a great value, because you get so much product. It's buildable, smooth, and smells so good!! NOTE: if you tap this item, it'll say that it's $65, which it's not! It's on sale for $34 at Sephora ($49 originally) DIOR - BACKSTAGE Face & Body Foundation in 1 cool rosy - I love this foundation and I've been reaching for it lately because of how smooth and buildable it is. ARMANI beauty - Luminous Silk Foundation in 3.75 - great coverage, super smooth, and really easy to blend out. One thing I do find when I use this foundation is that I need 2 pumps in order to get it to cover my whole face. It's not something super concerning, but I find some foundations go farther and I don't mind using 2 pumps tbh.

Dry Winter Skin (& tips when using retinol)
It is important to take good care of your skin in the winter. The cold air is harsh on the skin and can cause dehydration, dryness, and irritation. For those who use retinol (such as prescription tretinoin), these issues are always a concern and in the winter it is extra important to be mindful of how your skin is reacting. When you use a strong retinol your skin is automatically considered dry and sensitive due to the nature of the active ingredient. Whether you are using retinol or just struggling with dry winter skin, here are some tips to help you manage: ❄️Use a Gentle Cleanser❄️ Stay away from stripping cleansers as your skin’s moisture barrier is already compromised in the cold weather. Also, when removing makeup/double cleansing, stay away from makeup wipes because they are harsh on the skin and instead use a micellar water or cleansing balm. FIRST AID BEAUTY - Pure Skin Face Cleanser is my recommendation for a gentle cleanser. It works for all skin types. GLOW RECIPE - Papaya Sorbet Smoothing Enzyme Cleansing Balm is a fantastic makeup removing balm that hydrates the skin and is a perfect first step in a double cleansing routine. ❄️Add Hydrating Ingredients❄️ Try using products that contain humectants or other hydrating ingredients such as glycerin or hyaluronic acid. This will help your skin avoid irritation from the cold. You can incorporate this through any step of your routine, but I recommend hydrating serums and masks. GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturizer can be used as a light moisturizer for those with oily skin, but I recommend using it as a hydrating serum under a thicker moisturizer. When my skin is feeling especially sensitive I mix it with my retinol to dilute the retinol and make it more tolerable for my skin. GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon + AHA Glow Sleeping Mask is a hydrating masking option if that is what you prefer. ❄️Switch to a Different Moisturizer❄️ Make sure you have a thicker moisturizer when the weather changes to help protect your skin. The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA and ETUDE - Soon Jung, 2x Barrier Intensive Cream are good moisturizer options for the winter. ❄️Consider Occlusives❄️ Some people like to add an occlusive layer over their moisturizer to further protect from the winter air and to lock in the hydrating ingredients underneath. You could use something as simple as Vaseline - 100% Pure Petroleum Jelly, Original or even an oil such as The Ordinary - 100% Plant-Derived Squalane to add an occlusive layer. ❄️Don’t Forget Lip Care❄️ Use a balm such as BURT’S BEES - Nourishing Mango Butter Lip Balm Tube to fight chapped lips! If you have any recommendations for dry winter skin please let me know in the comments!

My go to for the last 3 months
Okay so I can’t really say 3mos as this is only my week 2 of this routine!!!! MORNING‼️ I wash with Neutrogena - Ultra Gentle Daily Cleanser so far it’s been okay, I guess u get what u pay for but with that being said my skin is soooooooo sensitive that literally before finding Cherie would mostly just wash my face with a rag and 💦 ❤️I then go back in with GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water with Rose Water okay so I love this stuff, it don’t make my face feel nasty, I literally use a cotton pad and just wipe away what my first cleanser didn’t get!!!! ❤️I also take my Apostrophe - Spironolactone I’m supposed to take this daily but due to health issues I only take this every other day just to maintain my potassium levels, I’ve only been on this for 2wks and I have noticed a BIG CHANGE in my skin🙌🏽 ❤️I then top it off with Cetaphil - Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion it definitely drenches your face with moisture BUT it makes me oily🚱 NIGHTIME ROUTINE‼️ ❤️I follow all the same steps above but I add in my Apostrophe - Topical Formula So far I’m in love with this, I’m already seeing changes in my skin and some of my scarring, I would definitely recommend this product/company🗣🗣🗣If u can’t afford to see a dermatologist or your insurance doesn’t cover it, this process is pretty cool, u literally do everything over the computer💻 or your phone📲your dermatologist will make up a regimen and it’s sent to u via mail🙌🏽With COVID in our lives this was a game changer❤️ Of course after my topical I once again moisturize my skin with Cetaphil - Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion

This Months Empties !! Dec 2020
The GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water with Rose Water is so much better over the original, it’s a lot less drying and sensitizing. great for dry & sensitive skin. I wish the bottles actually came in a bigger size because I feel like I go through these so quickly 😭 I like to shake my micellar water before squeezing onto a cotton pad, it actually gets a little more soapy and saves you more product that way. In all, I like this product and makes taking off makeup much easier without adding any sensitivity to my skin. Would buy again. PALMER'S - Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Cleansing Oil Face did brighten and make my skin look more radiant, gently removed makeup, and helped get up some surface level plugs!! I wish this was thicker or more viscous so that it could further penetrate the skin and draw out more impurities. Though I do like this product and it does what the label says it does, I would prefer to buy a thicker oil cleanser. I really like a lot of Clinique’s Moisturizers, but I usually don’t want to pay full price, so i really like going for the minis that this brand has available. TheCLINIQUE - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+ is usually my go to under makeup, on cold days or on the go. it has really helped with barrier repair & is dry combo & sensitive skin friendly!!🧖🏾‍♀️ it slips on easy, absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave a greasy or oily feeling. no parabens, sulfates, denatured alcohol or fragrance. 🌱Will definitely stock up on some more soon 🧴

HELP! I need a new skincare routine!
(Excuse my eyebrows I need to get them threaded) LOL So I’ve always struggled with acne, and I’m 18 and it’s still going on. I started birth control to help with my periods and acne about a little over 2 years ago now, and it has dramatically decreased my acne and helped so much with my flow and cramps. I just want to feel more confident because I rarely wear any makeup (foundation) on my face, and when I do I just want it to look smooth and not bumpy. I would really appreciate if anyone could recommend any products they use or have used. My skin is mainly oily, but it can be combination sometimes and sensitive when it wants to. Also, I don’t want to spend a lot of money on products. And what are y’all’s opinions/reviews on The Ordinary? Please help me! 🙏🏼 My morning routine consists of: -Clean&Clear - Morning Burst Oil-Free Gentle Daily Face Wash -DICKINSON'S - Original Witch Hazel Pore Perfecting Toner -FORMULA 10.0.6 - Seriously Shine Free Mattifying Oil Free Moisturizer My nighttime routine consists of: -GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Mattifying -CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin -Clean&Clear - Share NIGHT RELAXIN Deep Cleaning Face Wash -DICKINSON'S - Original Witch Hazel Pore Perfecting Toner -Beauty 360° - Vitamin E Moisturizing Oil -GARNIER - SkinActive Soothing Facial Mist with Rose Water -FORMULA 10.0.6 - Seriously Shine Free Mattifying Oil Free Moisturizer (I do use masks sometimes just like everybody else after I double cleanse at nighttime).

Mario Badescu versus Garnier Rose facial mist
ROSE FACE SPRAY SHOWDOWN 🌹🌹🌹🌹 Mario badescu has been a STAPLE of my skincare routine for the past 12 months or so. Since discovering their facial sprays and drying lotion I was a huge fan. HOWEVER: these products tend to be pretty expensive. They are cruelty free and paraben free. I’ve set out to find an alternative to my MB spray obsession. Enter— GARNIER - SkinActive Soothing Facial Mist with Rose Water My comments: I love this product! The scent is light and floral and leaves my skin feeling fresh and refreshed. The bottle is made from 30% post consumer recycled plastic and label claims to be vegan with no parabens, dyes or silicones. 🌿 Another thing I love about Garnier’s Rose facial mist is how they list their ingredients and derived substance on the back — instilling confidence and awareness about what is going into the spray✨

❄️❄️WINTER ROUTINES ❄️❄️
Recently my skin has been drier than normal. Most winters I never really struggled with dryness. So I had to add in some added moisture. There’s a few new products I just started using with in the past few days & so far like. A. M. Routine cleanse w/ LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Purifying Foaming Cleanser tone bliss - Clear Genius Clarifying Toner + Serum ( this has been a game changer for my hormonal acne ) vitamin c SheaMoisture - Papaya & Vitamin C Brighter Days Ahead Serum ( bottle wrapped in foil ) * would give higher rate but I dont like it’s in a clear glass bottle eye cream PACIfICA - Rose Jelly Beauty Sleep Undereye Gel SPF Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Water Gel Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30 ( sinks right in no greasy film ) moisturize GARNIER - SkinActive Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel-Cream * every time I wash I always pat dry w/ a clean paper towel. I have found that it’s really helped my acne because of the bacteria & towels hold tons of it. * also applying my first product after cleansing to my damp face adds moisture to my face but took some serious getting use to. Lol P. M. Routine double cleanse w/ Neutrogena - Ultra Light Cleansing Oil then follow w/ LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Purifying Foaming Cleanser *after I use the cleansing oil I will use the AZTEC SECRET - Indian Healing Clay mask mixed w\ water 2x a week tone bliss - Clear Genius Clarifying Toner + Serum exfoliation -I alternate using these every 2-3 days I tend to use one & then the other the next week. * bliss - Clear Genius Clarifying Liquid Peel { this peel you well start to experience some peeling, personally I didn’t start see some until about a week or two into using it. } * MEASURABLE DIFFERENCE - Lactic Acid Skin Renewal Serum ( first week trying this & so far looove it noticeable difference in pores a few minutes after application & skin looks ultra smooth ) off days from acids OLAY - Regenerist Retinol24 Max Night Face Serum { would give higher rate but this serum seems to have an added ingredient to give it some what of a luminous purple affect? Which I’m not fond of. I didn’t notice it on my face but on my jade roller I could visible tell } Then finally to top it all off moisturize w/ OLAY - Regenerist Retinol 24 Max Fragrance-Free Night Hydrating Moisturizer *** I only use this when I use the matching Olay serum *** Aveeno - Calm + Restore Oat Gel Moisturizer * I use this every night regardless of which serums I use. * I layer this on top of the olay one because my face tends to be dry. ☃️❄️☃️❄️

So I bought the ordinary Niacinamide and I have been using it for at least 3 months and I don’t know it’s it’s working. I have acne prone skin and very oily and Idk if I should continue buying the ordinary or try out the glossier one. While I was using the ordinary I have noticed texture on my forehead go away but my cheeks still have texture and I have little blackheads in them too. For my skincare routine I am using is GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Mattifying LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Purifying Foaming Cleanser The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Cetaphil - Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion CeraVe - Mineral Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30 for Face with Zinc Oxide For the sunscreen I am going to change it because it leaves me very oily. I am going to get the the BARE REPUBLIC - Mineral Body Sunscreen Gel Lotion SPF 30

AM/PM Routine
Photo 1 - AM Routine CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin I LOVE this cleanser. Its super gentle and makes my face feel incredibly clean. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% This product has definitely helped me control my sebum production resulting in clearer, smaller looking pores on my nose. This is the reason I got this serum so this makes me happy! I also feel like it helps me clear our my breakouts faster. Its a little tacky feeling when its sinking into your skin, but it does go away-just give it some time! Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Gel-Cream This moisturizer is great for my oily skin. It sinks in really well and feels great on my skin. It doesn't feel greasy at all, just feels like water. The only con I have is that it doesn't seem to keep my face hydrated all day long. It does keep it hydrated for the majority of the day though so its not such a big deal to me. There is no added fragrance or dye like the normal water-gel version. sun bum - Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30 I am not gonna lie, I've only recently started wearing spf. (I know, I know. I'm still semi-new to good skincare) I dont have much to compare it to, but this doesn't seem all that bad. It does leave a bit of a greasiness, but I also feel like it's not that bad. It doesn't leave a white cast. It does smell like a tropical beach, kinda coconut-y, but I do not mind that at all and neither does my skin. Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Sunscreen SPF 50I just got this product the other day so I dont have a rating yet. So far, it feels similar to the moisturizer, just a bit thicker. This leaves no white cast at all. Photo 2 - PM Routine GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Mattifying This product is awesome! It really helps remove makeup and spf without any kind of harsh rubbing. CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin Read above Radience Labs Collagen and Retinol Serum - Couldn't find this product on here, but I honestly don't know that it's doing much. My skin doesn't hate it, but I dont think I will repurchase it. FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair BarriAIR Cream Safe for Sensitive Skin This stuff is UNIQUE! It has bubbles on the top of it with a thick gel/cream moisturizer below. It feels great on the skin. It really feels like air! It soaks in quickly and feels very moisturizing. It feels thicker in the tub than it does on the skin. The only problem for me is that my cheeks seem to burn/tingle at first. My cheeks are the most sensitive part on my face, but once it soaks in, it feels fine. Simple - Water Boost Skin Quench Sleep Cream This really keeps my face hydrated all night long without waking up incredible oily. Photo 3 - Exfoliator FOREO - LUNA playI'll have another post in depth later. Sorry for the long post, but thanks for sticking with me! I am looking to change to a chemical exfoliator.

Painful Breakouts, Please Help!!!
Hi! I have been struggling with this acne on the sides of my face & my cheeks for a couple of months now. It’s quite painful & under the skin pimples, and often times leaves discolouration on my skin even when they deflate. Believe it or not, this is the best it’s looked in a while, which still isn’t good. I’m still pretty new to the world of skincare, so if anyone has any recommendations for how to deal with these stubborn breakouts that would be wonderful 😊 Here are the products i’m using now: CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% pixi - On-the-Glow GARNIER - SkinActive Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel-Cream For Dry Skin Benzagel - Acne Gel 5%

Best Moisturizer for Oily Friends
Yes, the hype with this one is real! Neutrogena - Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel Moisturizer reatails for a bit over $20, a little pricey for me who can only afford drug store brands This is a travel size version I got to try it out which was around $8 and gosh was it worth it! For years I thought having oily skin meant no moisturizer for me. Why add more moisture with all this oil? I was so so wrong. Even when I learned I needed to moisturize to balance my skin, so many seemed to had oil in them - until I discovered the world of gel cremes. I've tried a few and so far this is the best because a light yet nice scent light feel and texture absorbs quickly with little to non residue no irritation at all The best cheaper alternatives I've found , which I'll have reviews for separately are: GARNIER - SkinActive Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel-Cream For Dry Skin GARNIER - SkinActive Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel-Cream

night night routine
My night time skin care roitine is a ritual. It's my "It's time to decompress, remove the day and transition to a relaxing evening" time. I start by using my micellar water and baby washcloth and remove me eye and facial make. Then, I wash my face with my Cetaphil face wash. After patting my face dry, I pat on some Revolution Bakuchiol Serum. Then I move on to the Revolution Hyaluronic Acid. After that, I get a drop of Revolution Targeted Under Eye Serum with Caffeine and Hyaluronic Acid and tap it under my eyes. Then I use Revolution Collagen Skin Firming Solution on my face. After that it's Revolution Niacinamide Blemish Refining and Moisturizing Serum. Then, I moisturize some more with CeraVe PM Ultra Moisturizing Lotion and finish off with a sample of Sunday Riley High Dose Rentinoid Serum. After that, I am finally ready to lay down for the evening and go to bed. Final thought, you probably don't need a complicated skin routine at night. and certainly, have a less complicated one on standby for those nights when you just can barely put one foot in front of the other. As my mom used to say....night, night, don't let the bed bugs bite. GARNIER - Micellar Water Facial Cleanser Sensitive Skin I love, love, love this stuff! it's gentle on my skin. It takes off the toughest mascara without irritating my eyes. I use it as a pre cleanser before washing my face. Cetaphil - Daily Facial Cleanser While I use this every night, I am only using it until I finish the bottle. I am not crazy about the scent and there is a slight sting on my cheeks when I first lather the product on my skin and I am not fond of that feeling. REVOLUTION - 2% Hyaluronic Acid Serum REVOLUTION - Targeted Under Eye Serum 5% Caffeine REVOLUTION - 15% Niacinamide Serum REVOLUTION - Skin Firming Solution Stabilised Active Collagen Serum I've enjoyed all of the products I purchased from Revolution, they will all be empties. I am going to try The Ordinary next but the price comparison is about the same. DIFFERIN - Dark Spot Correcting Serum I haven't noticed a bit of difference since using this. how long do you have to you this before you notice your spots lightening?SUNDAY RILEY - A+ High-Dose Retinol Serum

Get Rid of Frizzy Hair With These Products!
Frizz usually takes over our hair in wet seasons, when we abuse heat tools and also, when we don't constantly hydrate our roots. To know how to eliminate frizz and win the battle for this problem, I recommend putting into practice the following anti frizz tricks that will help you solve the question how to eliminate frizz? with natural products. Frizz can also be caused by other factors such as excessive use of irons and dryers, seawater or swimming pool, the use of chemical treatments that deteriorate its natural structure and an inadequate technique to untangle the hair or comb it, having this in beads is essential to learn how to eliminate frizz. Frizz occurs in all hair types, even in the smoothest. However, it is more common to see frizz in curly or wavy hair than in straight hair. This happens because it is normal for hair with more waves to be drier and brittle. One of the answers on how to remove frizz from hair forever is to always keep your hair hydrated, this is only achieved with treatments based on natural oils or some tonics with natural herbs. If your hair is straight it is common for frizz to occur more in new hairs (short hairs that grow and look like small arrows that stand out even when you are brushed or have used conditioner) or on the ends. Some solutions to eliminate frizz. If you have srtraight hair, they're more related to the nutrition of your scalp. If you want to know how to remove frizz forever, I recommend cutting every two months to avoid open and disobedient tips. You can also use some home remedies to remove frizz from your hair, which will help you recover the texture and definition of your hair. They will also help you know how to remove hairpins without cutting it. My mission is to help you have beautiful, healthy hair. That's why I bring you some recommendations on how to remove frizz in your hair. For example, if your scalp is oily and you have frizz, the solution for your hair won't be to apply conditioners, serum or any kind of natural oil to your scalp; but if you can use them from medium to end, as they will help you to have more shine and control in the driest parts of the hair. If you have dry or mixed hair, you should keep in mind that the products you apply should be free of the presence of alcohols, as their astringent function can further dry those areas that are already dehydrated, producing more frizz in the hair, break and removing the shine and volume you have desired. For this type of hair if you can use oils, masks or serum from the root; it will also help you how to remove hairpins without cutting it. Keep in mind that for unruly hair, there are many anti frizz products that you can use, such as some home remedies to remove frizz from hair that will be based on natural oils or some fruits. All of these will help you how to remove frizz in your hair GARNIER - Whole Blends Honey Treasures Repairing Shampoo If you want to know how to remove the frizz you should start with the shampoo. An anti-frizz shampoo will help your hair look better by cleaning it with a salt-free product. Salt can further dry out your strands, so a milder shampoo will always be a good choice. If you're worried about dandruff, you can use natural treatments to fight dandruff so you don't deteriorate your hair anymore. You can find on the market several shampoos that will help you how to remove frizz and how to protect it from the sun, these will be a good option for your unruly hair. I personally use the original remedies one, from garnier. It has a wonderful smell that lasts for days. And leaves myy haris super pretty. GARNIER - Whole Blends Honey Treasures Repairing Conditioner The conditioner is an ally to know how to remove frizz from hair. Always use it after bathing. Keep in mind that if you have oily hair or scalp, the conditioner will be restricted only for use on the tips. You can choose a conditioner with argan or keratin, that cares for and moisturizes your hair. Find a special anti-frizz conditioner and apply it consistently. The results will not occur in a single application, it is a treatment for the hair and must be done for at least two months for you to see good results. I use the orginal remedies from garnier. I always recomend using the same line of shampoos and conditioners beacuse i feel they work better together. But you shoul look for a combination that Works for your own hair. You can choose several anti-frizz creams that will help you how to remove frizz. ! Briogeo - Farewell Frizz Blow Dry Perfection Heat Protectant CreamThis one leaves my hair feeling soft and silky . It also has all the natural properties your hair will need. My most important recommendation is NOT usind a regular towel for drying your hair. Use a microfiber one or a cotton t-shirt. The regular towels break your hair making it super frizzy. The microfiber towel looks like this (Pic2). It’s super soft and leaves your hair intact.

Garnier Black Peel off mask
How to use: Apply a thick layer to freshly washed dry skin. Leave on for 20 min or until all areas have dried. Gently peel off mask starting at the outer edges. Use 1-2 times per week. ~After use Benefits~ Pores look refined Leaves a healthy looking complexion ~My thoughts~ I think this mask was okay but it was definitely not my favorite. It applied really nicely but it took a very long time to dry. After 30 mins i was still waiting for it to fully dry. Once it did dry, the mask was easy to pull off but it was super painful. It also did not pull off in one piece and it left a lot of residue on my face. After taking off this mask if left my skin a little red but my pores did look more refined. My skin also looked healthy and the redness went away after a couple minutes. A down side to this mask is that it did leave my skin feeling a little dry. I also feel like this mask was not good for removing black heads. Overall this mask was good for my pores but I would not purchase it again.

Say goodbye to your toughest blackheads
This black head remover is a must have. Unlike other cheap, drug store charcoal peels, this one packs a punch, a punch that absolutely annhilates your blackheads. I would avoid this product if you have sensitive skin as it felt like I was ripping my face off during removal AND yes it did remove my baby hairs, but personally, that does not bother me as I remove my peach fuzz monthly for better foundation application. 5/5⭐️! 100% recommend to everyone with a grain of salt! Again do not use if you can’t do pain as this peel is no joke. Hurts BUT gets the job done!

Not my fav
Not my fav
It’s a no from me. #productreview @garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Cleanser & Makeup Remover Pros : very affordable ($9/13.5 oz). Easy access (sold at most drugstores, target, ulta, Amazon, etc). Formula: non-irritating (only ingredients are (Aqua / Water, Hexylene Glycol, Glycerin, Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate, Disodium EDTA, Poloxamer 184, Polyaminopropyl Biguanide.) Effectiveness: pretty good! Takes off a lot of my makeup , decent first cleanse. Cons: leaves a soapy feeling behind. I do NOT feel like it should stay on my skin so I always rinse it off. Unlike other micellar waters like @sonandpark that have skin benefits as well I feel like this could possibly be stripping for my skin. I also don’t feel it gets everything off so I def need a second cleanse. Overall it’s a decent affordable option but I don’t love it and I won’t repurchase. I may not even finish it. Have you tried any #affordable micellar waters or first cleanses? What’s your fav?

Soft beautiful hair in one minute!
Soft beautiful hair in one minute!
I love this product. So. Much. I got it because my hair was heat damaged and just kind of blah. I use it once a week after getting out of the shower. I used to apply all over roots to ends but it made the top of my head look a little oily so I began just using it on the bottom of my hair. What a difference! The brittle, split ends feel soft, and it smells AMAZING. It’s a nice little pampering treat.

Micellar in general is really good, it’s gentle and the one I use removes waterproof makeup. I just use a cotton round and this gets my makeup all off and even the dirt off my face. Definitely recommend. Also it’s good if you double cleanse.

After seeing a dermatologist, I have started using clindamycin gel in the AM and tretinoin cream in the PM for my persistent acne. I also have dry, sensitive skin so I am taking things slow. For two weeks I’ll be using the tretinoin cream every three days, then every other day for two more weeks, and then I will start using it every night as prescribed. Here is my P.M. routine! GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Cleanser & Makeup Remover This is the first component of double cleansing. I use this to remove my sunscreen. I gently wipe the product on using a fabric/reusable “cotton” pad. CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser This completes my double cleansing! It’s a gentle, creamy cleanser perfect for dry & sensitive skin. My derm highly recommended CeraVe products! I will keep repurchasing this product because I love it so much. PAULA'S CHOICE - Enriched Calming Toner This is a new addition to my routine, and I am already in love with it! I apply it using a reusable fabric pad. It leaves my skin feeling soft and less irritated. It’s a milky texture. PAULA'S CHOICE - Omega + Complex Serum This is also a new addition to my routine. I like it, but I do not love it. I will be trying the Krave Great Barrier Relief serum when I’m out of this. CeraVe - Skin Renewing Night Cream I absolutely love this stuff. It’s thick and perfect for dry, sensitive skin at the end of the day. It moisturizes and protects my skin. OBAGI - Tretinoin 0.025% Cream This was prescribed by my dermatologist. I apply it after my night cream to help provide a barrier to decrease sensitivity. I use a pea-size amount and dot it onto my cheeks, chin, nose, and forehead before blending it in.
