Spooky glam look👻
I got inspired by my new ghosty-girl earrings for this look! If you want to try it for yourself, here are the steps I took: 1. I started with brows, first filling them in with the NYX - Micro Brow Pencil and then cleaning up the bottom edges with my REVOLUTION - Conceal & Define Full Coverage Concealer 2. I then primed my lids with the PLOUISE - Base Shade on a small fluffy brush. 3. I packed the colors I wanted in a swoop shape on my upper lid (I used MORPHE - The James Charles Palette ) and then cut my crease out first with GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Cleanser & Waterproof Makeup Remover 4. Then I reapplied the P. Louise base shade under the cut and packed in a shimmery shade on my lid. I used the same shades from my upper lid to create a smoky winged liner and fill in my under eye. 5. Last but not least, I glued on my lashes and crystals with IL MAKIAGE - Duo Adhesive Fake Eyelash Glue and the eyes were complete! Finish off with your favorite base makeup routine, and don’t forget the black lipstick😜 I tried the MAC - Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour and I’m obsessed! Hope you enjoy trying your own version of this ghosty glam😘

~in-depth rundown of my routine (pt. 1- night)
hello everyone! i just wanted to come on here and share a bit about my skincare journey these past few weeks. now, i’m not the best at keeping a routine nor do i know a lot about ingredients/products but i’ve found this has helped tremendously (especially with my forehead acne). i recommend trying some of these products if you are prone to forehead acne (especially the cbd serum and the ordinary formula). ***please refer to all three parts for a full product rundown. i will have a separate post just listing the products, without review, for ease of access*** *FEEL FREE TO LEAVE ME SUGGESTIONS/RECOMMENDATIONS* -nighttime routine: i shower at night, so my skincare routine starts there. i usually remove any makeup, cleanse, tone, apply serums and lotions. these are the products i use.. GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water with Rose Water i absolutely love this cleansing water as i can see all the dirt being removed, even if i don’t have any makeup on. i actually bought reusable microfiber pads that i can just throw in the washer. Neutrogena - Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Facial Cleanser I have used this product for years, and while it’s not too great on its own, it gets the job done. it’s been the best cleanser i have found for my skin type. DICKINSON'S - Original Witch Hazel Pore Perfecting Toner now, hear me out here.. i bought this product a while back with minimal research. i have used it in the past and it has helped temporarily, however it can be drying which makes me break out more. however, this newer routine has more moisturizing products, so it works for the time being, until i run out and get around to buying another toner. TRULY - Mary Jane CBD Glow Serum i picked up this item on my latest ulta run as it was pretty and sparkly. this item has become a holy grail!!! it makes my skin so glowy and beautiful and has really helped decrease my acne. CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin i heard of the hype around cerave and wanted to see if it would help my skin. i enthusiastically went to buy a cleanser and lotion, however, it made me instantly break out. i know this can be normal when using new products, but it was out of the ordinary. i decided to incorporate just the lotion into my routine and it has worked wonders in combination with other products. there’s a lot more that i need to say so refer to my page for my morning routine as well as miscellaneous info and products!

HELP! I need a new skincare routine!
(Excuse my eyebrows I need to get them threaded) LOL So I’ve always struggled with acne, and I’m 18 and it’s still going on. I started birth control to help with my periods and acne about a little over 2 years ago now, and it has dramatically decreased my acne and helped so much with my flow and cramps. I just want to feel more confident because I rarely wear any makeup (foundation) on my face, and when I do I just want it to look smooth and not bumpy. I would really appreciate if anyone could recommend any products they use or have used. My skin is mainly oily, but it can be combination sometimes and sensitive when it wants to. Also, I don’t want to spend a lot of money on products. And what are y’all’s opinions/reviews on The Ordinary? Please help me! 🙏🏼 My morning routine consists of: -Clean&Clear - Morning Burst Oil-Free Gentle Daily Face Wash -DICKINSON'S - Original Witch Hazel Pore Perfecting Toner -FORMULA 10.0.6 - Seriously Shine Free Mattifying Oil Free Moisturizer My nighttime routine consists of: -GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Mattifying -CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin -Clean&Clear - Share NIGHT RELAXIN Deep Cleaning Face Wash -DICKINSON'S - Original Witch Hazel Pore Perfecting Toner -Beauty 360° - Vitamin E Moisturizing Oil -GARNIER - SkinActive Soothing Facial Mist with Rose Water -FORMULA 10.0.6 - Seriously Shine Free Mattifying Oil Free Moisturizer (I do use masks sometimes just like everybody else after I double cleanse at nighttime).

Mario Badescu versus Garnier Rose facial mist
ROSE FACE SPRAY SHOWDOWN 🌹🌹🌹🌹 Mario badescu has been a STAPLE of my skincare routine for the past 12 months or so. Since discovering their facial sprays and drying lotion I was a huge fan. HOWEVER: these products tend to be pretty expensive. They are cruelty free and paraben free. I’ve set out to find an alternative to my MB spray obsession. Enter— GARNIER - SkinActive Soothing Facial Mist with Rose Water My comments: I love this product! The scent is light and floral and leaves my skin feeling fresh and refreshed. The bottle is made from 30% post consumer recycled plastic and label claims to be vegan with no parabens, dyes or silicones. 🌿 Another thing I love about Garnier’s Rose facial mist is how they list their ingredients and derived substance on the back — instilling confidence and awareness about what is going into the spray✨

Critique a skincare newbie’s routine
Skins problems: I tend to get mild Rosacea on my lower cheeks and develop tons of blockheads in the creases of my nose, chin and between eyebrows. Other than that I have combination skin with an oily t-zone and normal to dry everywhere else. Where I’m at... So I kinda feel down the rabbit hole into skincare the other month and have tried using a morning routine as follows: GARNIER - Micellar Water Facial Cleanser Sensitive Skin The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% (Made my skin so smooth really quickly, love this one) CLINIQUE - Dramatically Different Oil-Free Gel Neutrogena - Sheer Zinc Face Lotion SPF 50 (leaves a really bad white tint which I can’t seem to get rid of) And a nighttime routine as follows: CLINIQUE - Liquid Facial Soap Extra Mild (leaves my skin a bit tight-feeling) PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator (I think it’s working I just can’t really tell) CLINIQUE - Clarifying Lotion 2 For Dry Combination Skin (a bit drying but I don’t want to waste the product) The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% (Made my skin so smooth really quickly, love this one) CLINIQUE - Dramatically Different Oil-Free Gel Outcomes so far: My skin is overall more hydrated and smoother but I still find black dots in my problem areas. Plea for help I have seen improvements but I feel like I don’t quite know what I’m doing and could use some external input. Plz feel free to add any (and I mean any) tips or critique. Thank youuuuuuu

This is my 3 week progress !
I do a double cleanse once in the morning and once at night. I use GARNIER - Micellar Water Facial Cleanser Sensitive Skin to remove oil, dirt and sebum. Next I use FIRST AID BEAUTY - Pure Skin Face Cleanser which is super gentle for my sensitive skin. I felt it’s the only cleanser gentle enough to cleanse my face but not irritate it or dry it out. It has a nice and creamy texture that I love. I then follow up with Dr Dennis Gross - Skincare Alpha Beta Peel Extra Strength Formula 30 Applications . I really like it as I feel it evens out my skin tone and I always heard that chemical exfoliators are a lot better for your skin than the other types. The only thing I don’t like is the price but compared to how how much I would pay if I were to get a skin care treatment done this is worth the price. I use this 5 time’s a week. As the other 2 time’s a week I am using a different peel and I don’t want to over exfoliate. After this I go in with the The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% . I feel it’s good but because my skin has a lot of scaring I know it will take more than just 3 weeks. I will continue to use this product as I really like how it brightens and evens out my skin tone. It’s also helping to make my acne scaring go away. The price is also very attractive! I then use fresh - Lotus Youth Preserve Moisturizer this stuff is amazing ! I swear by it. I have used plenty of other moisturisers that break my skin out but this one makes my skin feel really nice and hydrated and still makes it feel hydrated in the morning. If it is day time then afterwards I will put a sunscreen. I use Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Sunscreen SPF 50 . Personally I don’t like it. I feel it clogs up my pores and as I have dry skin I feel it doesn’t hydrate my skin as it should. During summer I was my son’s sunscreen and felt it did a better job so I might switch to it after. I’m only continuing to use this until it runs out but I won’t repurchase . Once per week (Monday nights after cleansing I use DARPHIN - Youth Resurfacing Peel my skincare feels really nice after I use this. It’s quite pricey but I feel it works to even out my skin tone and help with acne scars. Thursday nights I use The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution . Overall my skin has had a massive outcome and I’m really happy with these products. I’m so excited to see how it will be in 2 months from now. I suffer from dry and sensitive skin, eczema, acne scarring and pigmentation. I watch Hyram on YouTube and many of these products are recommended by him. This is the best my skin has ever looked.

Why I Don’t Like This Micellar Water 😩
I know. A lot of people love micellar water. A lot of people swear by it. Unfortunately I’m just not one of them. Or at least not with this one: GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Mattifying Don’t get me wrong. It works. It does take off makeup. And it is pretty gentle. But I don’t enjoy it for the following reasons: You kind of have to use it with cotton rounds, but cotton rounds always kind of irritate my skin like physical exfoliation. With eye makeup and lip makeup, you need to soak your cotton pads and put them on your eyes/lips to melt off the makeup before you swipe it off. I just find that the product gets into my eyes or mouth easily and it’s not a pleasant feeling. When you have to soak the cotton rounds, the amount of product actually makes it feel soapy. I’ve actually seen it almost foams up, which I’m not a fan of because it completely goes against the purpose of freshness and easiness. It’s not mattifying, or at least I don’t feel like it is. Instead I only feel that it leaves strange residues on my face, which is my biggest problem with this product. I feel compelled to wash my face with a normal cleanser again, even when I’m not using it to take off makeup, but just to fresh up skin from oil and sweat. I honestly think it’s easier to just use an oil or a balm to take off makeup and a regular cleanser to clean my face. Right now I only use this to spot cleanse when I screw up a spot on my makeup and on my body to take off overnight body acne treatment. Maybe it’s just this particular micellar water. Maybe it’s me not using it right. I wish I like it but I really don’t. 💔

Best Moisturizer for Oily Friends
Yes, the hype with this one is real! Neutrogena - Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel Moisturizer reatails for a bit over $20, a little pricey for me who can only afford drug store brands This is a travel size version I got to try it out which was around $8 and gosh was it worth it! For years I thought having oily skin meant no moisturizer for me. Why add more moisture with all this oil? I was so so wrong. Even when I learned I needed to moisturize to balance my skin, so many seemed to had oil in them - until I discovered the world of gel cremes. I've tried a few and so far this is the best because a light yet nice scent light feel and texture absorbs quickly with little to non residue no irritation at all The best cheaper alternatives I've found , which I'll have reviews for separately are: GARNIER - SkinActive Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel-Cream For Dry Skin GARNIER - SkinActive Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel-Cream

Get Rid of Frizzy Hair With These Products!
Frizz usually takes over our hair in wet seasons, when we abuse heat tools and also, when we don't constantly hydrate our roots. To know how to eliminate frizz and win the battle for this problem, I recommend putting into practice the following anti frizz tricks that will help you solve the question how to eliminate frizz? with natural products. Frizz can also be caused by other factors such as excessive use of irons and dryers, seawater or swimming pool, the use of chemical treatments that deteriorate its natural structure and an inadequate technique to untangle the hair or comb it, having this in beads is essential to learn how to eliminate frizz. Frizz occurs in all hair types, even in the smoothest. However, it is more common to see frizz in curly or wavy hair than in straight hair. This happens because it is normal for hair with more waves to be drier and brittle. One of the answers on how to remove frizz from hair forever is to always keep your hair hydrated, this is only achieved with treatments based on natural oils or some tonics with natural herbs. If your hair is straight it is common for frizz to occur more in new hairs (short hairs that grow and look like small arrows that stand out even when you are brushed or have used conditioner) or on the ends. Some solutions to eliminate frizz. If you have srtraight hair, they're more related to the nutrition of your scalp. If you want to know how to remove frizz forever, I recommend cutting every two months to avoid open and disobedient tips. You can also use some home remedies to remove frizz from your hair, which will help you recover the texture and definition of your hair. They will also help you know how to remove hairpins without cutting it. My mission is to help you have beautiful, healthy hair. That's why I bring you some recommendations on how to remove frizz in your hair. For example, if your scalp is oily and you have frizz, the solution for your hair won't be to apply conditioners, serum or any kind of natural oil to your scalp; but if you can use them from medium to end, as they will help you to have more shine and control in the driest parts of the hair. If you have dry or mixed hair, you should keep in mind that the products you apply should be free of the presence of alcohols, as their astringent function can further dry those areas that are already dehydrated, producing more frizz in the hair, break and removing the shine and volume you have desired. For this type of hair if you can use oils, masks or serum from the root; it will also help you how to remove hairpins without cutting it. Keep in mind that for unruly hair, there are many anti frizz products that you can use, such as some home remedies to remove frizz from hair that will be based on natural oils or some fruits. All of these will help you how to remove frizz in your hair GARNIER - Whole Blends Honey Treasures Repairing Shampoo If you want to know how to remove the frizz you should start with the shampoo. An anti-frizz shampoo will help your hair look better by cleaning it with a salt-free product. Salt can further dry out your strands, so a milder shampoo will always be a good choice. If you're worried about dandruff, you can use natural treatments to fight dandruff so you don't deteriorate your hair anymore. You can find on the market several shampoos that will help you how to remove frizz and how to protect it from the sun, these will be a good option for your unruly hair. I personally use the original remedies one, from garnier. It has a wonderful smell that lasts for days. And leaves myy haris super pretty. GARNIER - Whole Blends Honey Treasures Repairing Conditioner The conditioner is an ally to know how to remove frizz from hair. Always use it after bathing. Keep in mind that if you have oily hair or scalp, the conditioner will be restricted only for use on the tips. You can choose a conditioner with argan or keratin, that cares for and moisturizes your hair. Find a special anti-frizz conditioner and apply it consistently. The results will not occur in a single application, it is a treatment for the hair and must be done for at least two months for you to see good results. I use the orginal remedies from garnier. I always recomend using the same line of shampoos and conditioners beacuse i feel they work better together. But you shoul look for a combination that Works for your own hair. You can choose several anti-frizz creams that will help you how to remove frizz. ! Briogeo - Farewell Frizz Blow Dry Perfection Heat Protectant CreamThis one leaves my hair feeling soft and silky . It also has all the natural properties your hair will need. My most important recommendation is NOT usind a regular towel for drying your hair. Use a microfiber one or a cotton t-shirt. The regular towels break your hair making it super frizzy. The microfiber towel looks like this (Pic2). It’s super soft and leaves your hair intact.

Garnier Black Peel off mask
How to use: Apply a thick layer to freshly washed dry skin. Leave on for 20 min or until all areas have dried. Gently peel off mask starting at the outer edges. Use 1-2 times per week. ~After use Benefits~ Pores look refined Leaves a healthy looking complexion ~My thoughts~ I think this mask was okay but it was definitely not my favorite. It applied really nicely but it took a very long time to dry. After 30 mins i was still waiting for it to fully dry. Once it did dry, the mask was easy to pull off but it was super painful. It also did not pull off in one piece and it left a lot of residue on my face. After taking off this mask if left my skin a little red but my pores did look more refined. My skin also looked healthy and the redness went away after a couple minutes. A down side to this mask is that it did leave my skin feeling a little dry. I also feel like this mask was not good for removing black heads. Overall this mask was good for my pores but I would not purchase it again.

Say goodbye to your toughest blackheads
This black head remover is a must have. Unlike other cheap, drug store charcoal peels, this one packs a punch, a punch that absolutely annhilates your blackheads. I would avoid this product if you have sensitive skin as it felt like I was ripping my face off during removal AND yes it did remove my baby hairs, but personally, that does not bother me as I remove my peach fuzz monthly for better foundation application. 5/5⭐️! 100% recommend to everyone with a grain of salt! Again do not use if you can’t do pain as this peel is no joke. Hurts BUT gets the job done!

My Current Skincare Routine!
Howdy everybody! I’m Carl, and this is my current skincare routine. Some of these products I’ve bought myself, others are gifts (like the SkinActive Soothing Kit by Garnier). Some products are kinda old, like the Neutrogena - Alcohol Free Toner . Only so much of it is left, and though I liked it and it worked well I’m going to be using the HERITAGE STORE - Rosewater Facial Tonersoon! My newest product is the ACURE - Brightening Super Greens Serum which I adore right now! I’m hoping to use the GLOBAL BEAUTY CARE - Cucumber Hydrogel Face Masksome time soon. All in all these products have been very helpful and I recommend them (especially the GARNIER - SkinActive Soothing 3-in-1 Face Moisturizer with Rose Water ) to any of you who have dry skin and need that extra moisture every day! Hopefully by the end of quarantine (whenever that is) my skin will be amazing! 🥰

Garnier Cleansing Milk
❄️ 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀: I wanted to share this Soothing Cleansing Milk by Garnier. I use this as a first step in a double cleanse when I don't wear make up and just cleansing my face before going to bed or in the morning after waking up. I love how soothing it is on my skin and just love the rich smooth milk texture which is formulated with rose water. GARNIER - SkinActive Soothing Milk Face Wash with Rose Water ____ ❄️ 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲/𝗢𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻: Its claim to remove makeup and impurities without stripping skin of its natural moisture barrier is on point base on my experience since I never feel dry or tight after washing but instead my skin feels moisturized and a litle slippery and then I go in with a second wash. it smells pleasant and almost no fragrance at all and that's what I love about this cleanser. But as what I wrote in one of my previous posts, I am trying to be more conscious of what I buy and as we all know Garnier is not cruelty-free I will not be repurchasing this one again. Though I really enjoyed this cleanser, I am just finishing this up and will move on to other cleansers. If you are conscious about brands that are not cruelty-free, then I don't recommend this particular brand.

Best makeup remover

Micellar in general is really good, it’s gentle and the one I use removes waterproof makeup. I just use a cotton round and this gets my makeup all off and even the dirt off my face. Definitely recommend. Also it’s good if you double cleanse.

Soft beautiful hair in one minute!
Soft beautiful hair in one minute!
I love this product. So. Much. I got it because my hair was heat damaged and just kind of blah. I use it once a week after getting out of the shower. I used to apply all over roots to ends but it made the top of my head look a little oily so I began just using it on the bottom of my hair. What a difference! The brittle, split ends feel soft, and it smells AMAZING. It’s a nice little pampering treat.

Not my fav

It’s a no from me. #productreview @garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Cleanser & Makeup Remover Pros : very affordable ($9/13.5 oz). Easy access (sold at most drugstores, target, ulta, Amazon, etc). Formula: non-irritating (only ingredients are (Aqua / Water, Hexylene Glycol, Glycerin, Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate, Disodium EDTA, Poloxamer 184, Polyaminopropyl Biguanide.) Effectiveness: pretty good! Takes off a lot of my makeup , decent first cleanse. Cons: leaves a soapy feeling behind. I do NOT feel like it should stay on my skin so I always rinse it off. Unlike other micellar waters like @sonandpark that have skin benefits as well I feel like this could possibly be stripping for my skin. I also don’t feel it gets everything off so I def need a second cleanse. Overall it’s a decent affordable option but I don’t love it and I won’t repurchase. I may not even finish it. Have you tried any #affordable micellar waters or first cleanses? What’s your fav?

CeraVe - Resurfacing Retinol Serum *I just started this product and haven’t formed an opinion yet - worried about it overly drying my face - [edit] I’ve been using this product for a week and there has been no drying. The stubborn pimples that wouldn’t got away went away quickly. Should be used at night, followed by a sunscreen in the morning. Cetaphil - Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion * I wish it was a little thicker. I pair it with Aloe Vera for extra moisture. CeraVe - Hydrating Sunscreen Face Lotion SPF 50 *not my favorite, hope to try something else when I use it up. Lots of white cast and oily. CeraVe - Renewing SA Cleanser For Normal Skin * I (hopefully) am almost done purging from this product. This is normal with this because of the ingredients in it- I just need to be patient. I use twice a day because of the environment my skin is in (work at a pizzeria and have lots of stress). —edit: I started only using this after work (face gets greasy/ pizza place) it’s just plain meant more for people with more oily skin and I tend to have dry skin.— PAULA'S CHOICE - Optimal Results Hydrating Cleanser * I learned that if you have dry skin you shouldn’t have a cleanser that foams as much and this doesn’t do just that! It’s almost like lotion texture (but not lol). I use mostly mornings and nights that I don’t have a greasy pizza face. GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Cleanser & Makeup Remover *apparently there’s fragrance in this which isn’t good, but it gets my makeup off and the grease from work- does it’s job PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator *had to give this a second go because I didn’t realize that purging is natural because of the ingredients in it. Liking my experience so far. I rotate this with a retinol every other night. Both at the same time was too much and my skin reacted. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% *I introduced this product at the same time as others and my skin freaked out, took a step back and now it works great. Noticing a difference in my hyperpigmentation. I use this in the AM routine. —edit: I ran out for a few days and my skin freaked! Once my shipment came it settled everything down so fast!— The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 10% + HA * Pretty solid exfoliant. I rotate this with my other exfoliants. Have had for about a week and no complaints so far. The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution *loved this product at first - made my skin super soft - but now I’m not sure what it’s doing. ONLY USE FOR TEN MINUTES AND NO MORE THAN EVERY OTHER DAY AT NIGHT. Fruit of the Earth - Aloe Vera 100% Gel *Just a basic, cheap aloe vera to help with moisture and soothe inflammation.
