GLAMNETIC - Black Liquid Magnetic Liner another new to me brand. includes magnetic liner and a pair of their “bella” lashes. however, i don’t wear lashes or eyeliner, so i’ll be gifting this! retails for $63. tarte - Maneater Mascara does anyone know if this comes in a waterproof formula?! i have only tried this once but i’m OBSESSED. i’m not one to fawn over mascara, because they all seem pretty similar, but THIS one 👏🏻 retails for $23. MAC - MAC Matte Lipstick new to me brand! love the formula and feel of this, not sure on the color for me personally. retails for $19. MakeUp Eraser - The Sponge i haven’t used this sponge yet, but the idea of a washable sponge is brilliant. i’m curious to see how the sponge performs, and i love that you can literally throw it in the laundry to wash it! retails for $18. total retail value: $178
BoxyCharm: December Base Box ✨💖
Hey Cherie Fam! 🍒 I finally received my December base box from Boxycharm today. Yes, it’s the 29th. I am cutting them some slack though because I know that it was the holidays and they were probably pretty backed up. For those who don’t know, Boxycharm is a beauty subscription service and you get 5 full sized products for $25/month. You have the option to upgrade to premium which you receive 6-7 items. The premium box is $35/month. I canceled my base box months ago and only subscribed to premium. However, my premium boxes lately have been pretty disappointing. I found the items in the base box more appealing the last few months so I decided to cancel and re-subscribe to base. They were having a deal that if you resubscribe, you get a complimentary Breakfast in Bed palette by Beauty Bakerie or the Ciate London Editor palette. I went with Beauty Bakerie because I love the brand. I was pretty impressed with my box this month. This is the first time that I’m excited about ALL the products I received. I’m happy that I got all makeup items because I’m very picky with skin care. In this box, I received 6 full sized items including the complimentary Beauty Bakerie palette. • Breakfast in Bed Palette by Beauty Bakery - $38.00 • Huda Beauty Amethyst Obsessions Palette - $27.00 •Glamnetic Baby Girl Lashes and Black Magnetic Liner - $63.00 • Tarte Maneater Mascara - $23.00 • MAC Cosmetics Matte Lipstick in shade Chili - $19.00 • Get lit Metallic Liquid Eyeshadow by Eloise Beauty in the shade Pure Gold - $26.00 •TOTAL VALUE: $196.00 I am most excited about the magnetic lashes because I have never tried them before and I love falsies! I am also excited about the Huda palette. Are you subscribed to any monthly beauty subscription boxes? If so which service is your favorite? Xoxo, Francesca 💋

Second love affair..
The classic Mac, lip liner/pencil. Believe it or not, I've been using Mac's lip liners since the end of highschool! I'm talking 15,17, 18 years! What I do, as a hardcore makeup lover, a smart shopper & to always have what I need, on hand. Buy classic colors. So, one red. One plum. One on the nose side or pink. Most of my lipsticks are either red or plum. All different shades, but one mac plum lip liner, or red etc (at least for me) match every other plum lipstick. So stuck with one main lip liner shade in each category, matching what you wear. I have one red 1 plum/wine and 1 in the softer side I'd consider nudes. And whether I'm wearing covergirl lipstick, or NYX.. I never need to spend even more money to buy yet another lip liner. I've had this problem with other lip liner brands. But at least for myself, I find ma's liner pretty amazing in the fact that they match almost 100% of my lipstick shades. As long as I have one per category of main color. I dont bother buying any pink, as I dont wear pink, I wont and wont waste money.MAC - MAC Lip Pencil
INTERVIEW MAKEUP + TIPS TO GETTING THE JOB💼✨
HOW I DID MY MAKEUP FOR INTERVIEWS + TIPS TO GETTING THE JOB I have been on the search for a new job for sometime now. I am a fairly recent graduate with little experience and plus being in a global pandemic it has been challenging to find the right fit. Throughout my research on how to look presentable during interviews, here are some tips I gathered that helped me get multiple job offers. Less is more: •Makeup: Now I am not a fan of this saying because I love being extra with contour, and big lashes, etc. but when you are doing makeup for an interview less is more. The interviewer’s main focus is going to be listening to what you can bring to their company. If they are distracted by glittery eyes or a bright pink lip they might not be fully listening to what you have to offer. I would recommend to stick to a more “conservative” look with a clean makeup base, minimal eye makeup and possibly a lip color that you feel comfortable in. •Hair: When choosing the right hairstyle for an interview, you still want to keep in mind that your face will be the main focus. With that being said, you do not want to take away from what you are saying by any hair distractions. It would be best to keep your hair pulled back and out of the way so it does not cause any interferences. (Especially if you play with your hair, that could be a big distraction away from what you are saying.) If wearing your hair down or a bright lip color makes you feel confident then I would go for it. Ultimately you want to be comfortable with how you look so that confidence can transfer over well into your interview Dress the part: Companies want to see if you are a good fit by imagining yourself in the role. When you dress the part you are saving them this step. If they can see you professionally as one of their own, it will be easier for them to determine if you are a good fit. I would recommend sticking to basic/neutral colors and solid pieces. Blazers are always a good choice when it comes to layering and they make me feel more professional and confident going into an interview. Again, like mentioned before, wear what you feel most comfortable in. Check your background: This tip has nothing to do with your actual physical image but I still think it’s important to mention now that a lot of interviews are being conducted over video-call platforms. I recommend choosing a background with MINIMAL clutter and possibly adding greenery into the scene. If none of this is possible, opt for a neutral-solid color background. You can even hang up an ironed white sheet if necessary. Also, make sure there will be minimal noise distractions wherever you are interviewing. If you live with others, make sure you let them know that you will be interviewing so no distractions can occur. SMILE & relax: Unless you are applying to a job where you do not need to be friendly… SMILE. It looks good to see that you are friendly and confident in the way you carry yourself. Also, it is important to relax and don't let the nerves get the best of you. • Psych tips: ◦Even if you mess up, if you are still smiling you can trick the interviewer into thinking you still have yourself composed. ◦The feeling of excitement and fear are SO closely related that you can turn one of those feelings into the other. When I get very anxious I like to tell myself I’m actually excited and it will help calm my nerves. Makeup used: •foundation:Too Faced - Born This Way Natural Finish Foundation •contour:MARC JACOBS BEAUTY - O!Mega Bronzer Coconut Perfect •blush: bareMinerals - bareMinerals Loose Powder BlushI like this blush because it has a little bit of shimmer in it and acts as a highlighter as well •mascara:Too Faced - Better Than Sex Mascara •false lashes: (custom) •lips: MAC - MAC Lip Pencil in ‘subculture' I hope these tips were helpful and good luck if you are in the interviewing process!

CONQUERING CONTOURING 🏆
Here’s how I sculpt the structure of my face on a daily basis! Step 1: I apply a thin layer of foundation to my whole face. I use the TOM FORD - Traceless Foundation Stick - this foundation is full coverage, and leaves my skin looking so flawless. However, I’m not a fan at how much the base moves on my face. I have to use quite a lot of setting powder and spray to keep it in place. Step 2: I take a dark foundation stick and apply it to my jawline, cheek bones, the sides of my nose as well as the top of my forehead. I use the L.A. Girl - Bronzer Velvet Contour Stick - I love this product. It’s the perfect consistency and spreads so nicely around your face, blending in flawlessly. Step 3: I take concealer and apply this beneath my eyes, my chin and along the bridge of my nose. I use the MAYBELLINE - Super Stay Full Coverage Under-Eye Concealer - I’m obsessed with this concealer and have been using it for years! It’s not too dry on the face and isn’t too thick either. Step 4: BLEND BLEND BLEND BLEND!!! 🥳 I make sure to blend in an upward direction especially with the darker contour lines. Step 5: I apply translucent setting powder just under my cheek bones. I let it sit for a couple of minutes and then wipe it off with a blush brush. I use the #Yardley - Loose Translucent Powder[products]#[FiveStars] - this is a great product and holds my makeup so well! Step 6: I then apply highlighter to my upper cheek bones, the tip of my nose and above my Cupid’s bow. I use the MAC - Extra Dimension Skinfinish Highlighter it’s so stunning and soooo shiny! Definitely a must have! And that’s it! 💛 I hope you learnt something on how to conquer contouring! 🥺 Paula x
You Can Make Your Face Look Slimmer Without Any Cosmetic Surgery!
My face is round face, but the angle of mandible is a little obvious, which makes me very distressed sometimes. Because there is a lot of flesh on the face, it would appear fatter, and the obvious angle of mandible sometimes appears to be older. This requires me to do some extra work when I make up. MAC - Extra Dimension Skinfinish Highlighter #Double Gleam $33 This is the secret weapon I just discovered. With MAC Double-Gleam Extra Dimension Skinfinish, I don't need any cosmetic surgery to make my facial contour more beautiful. This product is light gold with a nice metallic sheen and yellow undertones. This product of MAC is also very worth buying. It adds the perfect glow to skin. The liquid-powder highlighter, with prismatic reflections, is designed to sculpt and highlight your face, leaving a luminous, well-defined finish. What's more, the creamy powder formula lasts up to 10 hours, which could last for a long time without any makeup. This product is really kind for everyone. Double-Gleam was richly pigmented but could easily be sheered out or used with a less dense brush for a more moderate glow. The consistency was soft and smooth, so it was easy to apply and work with on the face to highlight on cheekbones, down the bridge of the nose, and so forth. My steps are generally three. The first step is to gently sweep up the highlight next to the hairline of the forehead, which is near the end of the eyebrows, and this can make the face fuller. The second step is the very important part, nose, highlight the upper part of your nose according to your own shape. Finally, the lower part of the face. A little bit on the chin, this will make your face look a lot slimmer. It is also very friendly to novices who are just learning makeup, because this product will not be pressed to the face all at once, so even if you make a mistake, there will be room for modification.

Blotchy Foundation? We Don’t Know Her 🤪
The key to to a flawless foundation always, always starts with the base! Ive foundation what helps me get super-smooth application is hydration. When my skin’s hydrated, everything smooths and layers on like butter. 🌸 Warning: it’s extremely thick! So if you don’t like thick/heavy moisturizer, this is not for you. But I’ve found this to be the best moisturizer for under my foundation. COSRX - Hyaluronic Acid Intensive Cream 🌸 After letting my moisturizer sink into my skin for 2-10 minutes (depending on how much time I have lol), I smooth this gal on. This is a new product by Too Faced btw! I just started using it and love it so far. And it smells like heavennnnnnn. Too Faced - Plump & Prime Face Plumping Primer Serum 🌸 Then I smooth this all-time fave on areas of my face that get super oily, like my t-zone and center cheeks. smashbox - Photo Finish Foundation Primer 🌸 Okay, I know opinions on this brand/foundation are polarizing and some people swear it’s the worst for your skin! But I SWEAR by this foundation lol. I’ve been using it since I was 15 and I’ve never found anything that compares. It is heavy and full coverage, but that’s what I like :). I apply it with a wet beauty blender. MAC - Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 Foundation 🌸 This one’s a no-brainer! A holy grail! tarte - Shape Tape Concealer 🌸 I actually use this as a spot concealer around my face for any imperfections poking through. Another product I’ve been using for years. It’s so creamy and amazing!!! MAYBELLINE - Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Treatment Concealer 🌸 I cannot live without this thing. I spray it all over my face after I finish the wet part of my routine and it melts everything together. MAC - Prep + Prime Fix+ Primer and Setting Spray, Original Soothing Herbal 🌸 I LOVE this eye powder!!!! I do have to say, it’s REALLY white. But I have super dark circles under my eyes and love that super light under eye look. I use a dry baby beauty blender for this one. laura mercier - Secret Brightening Powder for Under Eyes 🌸 I have really big pores that poke through everything and anything and this powder is literally the only thing that hides ‘em. It gives me the illusion of smooth skin while setting my makeup to last all day long. I know this sounds crazy, but I apply it with the same damp beauty blender I used for my foundation, just the clean side of it. Idk how or why, but it works! laura mercier - Translucent Loose Setting Powder 🌸 Best setting spray in the UNIVERSE!!! MORPHE - Continuous Setting Mist

5 for the Season - Fall Favorites 🍁
🌞Yes I know technically fall ended about a week ago (...week ago) and I’ve DEF been slippin on my pimpin but to be fair, there isn’t a huge difference in temperature when it comes to SoCal. That being said, even though the sun is shining and the weather is warm, we still experience a fair amount of dryness with the drop in humidity levels, fire season 🔥, and Santa Ana winds. Fighting dryness and promoting hydration is always my number one goal this time of year. LANEIGE - LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask theeeee best lip 👄 mask EVER! I only ever purchase the original berry flavor, but this is great at not only conditioning the lips, but also holds a large amount of moisture and hydration on the lips. I’d be interested to hear how the other flavors or “shades” work. Holler at ya girl. - 5.5 Licorice PH Balancing Cleansing Toner I can’t even begin to count exactly how many bottles of this I have gone through. It has become one of the major and nonnegotiable items in my routine. I live in an urban area apartment complex, and unfortunately we have hard water. Hard water can strip your face and throw off your skin’s pH level. No matter what cleanser I’m using, I always feel tight and dry. 🌵 I wipe this on my face, neck, and décolleté area. Not only does this balance the pH level and hydrate my skin, but the licorice root is AMAZING when it comes to preventing dark spots and healing acne scars. I scar SO easily and this, coupled with my vitamin C, has helped my acne marks heal twice as fast. FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream my FAV, no frills moisturizer! I don’t rely on moisturizers for anything other thanmoisture. I leave all treatments to my serums and masks. I always use this as my nighttime moisturizer to lock in my serums, but since it’s colder 🥶(relatively lol) and drier in the fall, I get to save some funds 💵 and I use this day and night. I typically buy the mini because it’s in a squeeze tube and I’m extremely paranoid about dipping my fingers in tubs of products (hello bacteria 🦠.) Since I recently found a set of adorable silver and gold metal spoons made for cosmetics I finally purchased the big tub. So much bang for your buck! MAC - MAC Prep + Prime Fix+ Finishing Mist 💕 💕 💕 this is by far my favorite setting spray. I always try new ones when they come out, and I always run back to MAC. In the summer I alternate between setting spray and setting powder (you do not need both!!!) but once the dry weather of fall hits 🍂 I won’t let setting powder touch my face and I rely solely on Fix+ since setting powder tends to be much more drying. Bio-Oil - Multiuse Skincare Oil the most underrated product. I continued using this after I had my son for fall and winter dry skin. I wear at night under my body lotion and on days when I shave 🪒, I use this like an aftershave right after I get out of the shower.

Old Hollywood Vintage Makeup 🎞 📽🖤
Hey Cherie Sisters! Happy Friday Eve! ⚠️ First of all, I just want to say that I DO NOT condone smoking at all ⛔️ 🚬 🚫 ⚠️ I just used it as a prop because cigarettes are always seen in old Hollywood films and I wanted to add an extra oomph to the theme. 😜 I looked at “60s makeup” for inspiration. The 60s eye makeup emphasized the crease with dramatic winged liner and huge eyelashes. They stuck to neutral colors on the eyes and pair it with a peach or light pink lips. The beauty mark that Marilyn Monroe had was also popular. I used my MAC eyeshadows for this look because was feeling nostalgic. MAC eyeshadows were my favorite. I remember that I only bought MAC eyeshadows and used them religiously. Using them again reminded me of how pristine MAC eyeshadows are. They were so pigmented, easy to work with and blended beautifully. I seriously fell in love all over again. To achieve this look, I used: 1) MAC Embark which is an intense reddish-brown shade to define the crease. I used a smudger brush (Morphe M508) 2) I stamped MAC Soft Brown on top of Embark for that transition look. 3) Using my Wayne Goss 20 brush, I blended both colors together 4) I cut my crease using Tarte Shape tape then applied MAC Dazzlelight and Nylon on the lids 5) I used an angled eyeliner brush and a gel liner to draw a dramatic wing. I would suggest gel liner over liquid for more precision and drama 6) I applied MAC Soft Brown and Embark on the lower lash. 7) Use a white eyeliner to tight line. I used Colourpop Creme Gel Liner in Exit then use MAC Gesso (matte white eyeshadow) to intensify 8) Emphasize those lashes with falsies! I used House of Lashes in the style Bouidoir Lite 9) Apply lots of mascara on the bottom lash. Use falsies for bottom lashes to emphasize the look however, this step is optional 10) Channel your inner Marilyn Monroe and add that beauty marked. 11) For lips, I used KVD Vegan Beauty Liquid Lipstick in Lovecraft then topped it with Marc Jacobs Enamored Gloss in the shade Rah Rah!. A bold red lip would work too! 12) Enjoy! I hope you recreate this look and would love to see your finished look! 🤞 What is your favorite makeup era? Francesca 💋 #CheriePartner
5 min eye look to make your eyes pop!
Bring out your eye color and make your eyes the center of attention with two products! My eyes are my favorite feature and I love to make them pop even more and make them the focus of my makeup look. I have light brown eyes with a bit of a hazel in them (thx mom and dad) and pairing the correct eyeshadow color can really make them pop! WHAT I USE: A burnt brown shadow. Something orange/red based to bring the green out in my eyes. My go to is Brownscript from MAC. I take a fluffy blending brush and blend the shadow all over my lid. Very simple and quick. MAC - MAC Matte Eyeshadow To further make eyes pop and make my eyes appear bigger, I take a white or nude color eyeliner and line my bottom water line. This instantly draws even more attention to my eyes. If you want a more dramatic look then stick with the white, but to keep it more subtle stick with a nude color liner. I like to use the fenty pencil eyeliner. FENTY BEAUTY - Flypencil Longwear Pencil Eyeliner What if you don’t have brown eyes? Blue eyes - orange based browns and orange shadows! Green eyes - red tone shadows! Hazel eyes - red based browns! #cheriecreator

Cure for Bad Day = Bright Lipstick!
I woke up in a funk today. I think months of nowhere to go, working from home and homeschooling have finally gotten to me. Plus yesterday I got dragged into someone else’s drama and that left me feeling uneasy and made it hard to sleep. So I did not want to get out of bed this morning. But I did. And to help cheer myself up, I put on a nice bright shade of lipstick. I am wearing Mac Lustre Lipstick in Lustering. These are $19 at Ulta, though I think my exact shade may be discontinued. It’s a light, creamy formula that goes on with a nice bright pigment. It really is a nice pick me up for a bad day.
EVERYDAY SOFT GLAM MAKEUP
I love a soft glam look when i am going out during the day. I and this one is super simple. After i prime, color correct, and fill in my brows I like to put powder on before i put on my foundation and let it bake while i am applying my eyeshadow. It helps to absorb oils from my skin and keep my skin looking oil free throughout the day. I use laura mercier - Translucent Loose Setting Powder in Deep. I used SEPHORA COLLECTION - Make No Mistake Foundation & Concealer Stick to prime my eyes. I like this concealer for my eyeshadow primer because it is thick and pigmented so a little goes a long way to make my eyeshadow pop. For my eyeshadow I’m only using 2 colors. My CROP - Bio Metal Eyeshadow in guilded on my lid and the color “Busted” from the #Urban Decay - Naked 2 Palette[products]#[FiveStars] in my crease. These 2 colors together give me a subtle glow. Im using mascara and edge brush as eyeliner because I ran out. I just rub the brush on the mascara applicator and then apply and I used the same mascara for my lashes. I used tarte - Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara I useLANCÔME - Teint Idole Ultra Long Wear Foundation in 530 Suede C. I used #IL Makiage - F*ck I’m Flawless Multi-use Perfecting Concealer[products]#[FourStars] in shade 14.5 and L'ORÉAL - Infallible Full Wear Waterproof Concealer in 440 Truffle to contour I used nyx NYX - Strobe of Genius Illuminating Palette to highlight Set with MAC - Prep + Prime Fix+ Primer and Setting Spray Matte Finish i like to set before i apply my contour and highlight and after to help with oil. And to complete the look i use my favorite nine lipstick MAC - Lustre Lipstick in the shade Hug Me. #CheriePartner

philosophy - Hope in a jar original formula moisturizer love this product; it's creamy and absorbs perfectly. It’s not greasy and leaves my skin soft and hydrated. COLAB - Original Dry Shampoo this smells amazing, and it’s excellent for brunette hair. I Will definitely repurchase again. Secret - Outlast Completely Clean Invisible Solid Deodorant I like this product the only issue I have with is it takes awhile to dry. CeraVe - CeraVe Moisturising Cream I don’t understand the hype of this cream, it doesn’t do anything for me. My skin still feels dry after using this product. MAC - Prep + Prime Fix+ Primer and Setting Spray, Original Soothing Herbal love this is a holy grail. MAC - Gently Off Eye and Lip Makeup Remover it’s definitely not for me, it irritates my eyes. #Maybelline - MAYBELLINE DREAM LUMI TOUCH HIGHLIGHTING CONCEALER[products]#[FiveStars] I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed this and I wish it wasn’t discontinued it’s the prettiest concealer ever! GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturizer I like it but it’s not worth the price unfortunately. it Cosmetics - Cyber Monday Free Confidence in an Eye Cream Deluxe Sample With Brand Purchase I have many back ups of this and it’s one best eyes creams. It’s light and it’s moisturizing. #monistat 7 - monistat 7[products]#[FiveStars] I actually use this as hair treatment for hair growth and it’s done wonders for my hair. It must be diluted
Setting vs finishing spray✨Whats the difference?
So I get this question a lot at work and it’s something I’ve wanted to touch on for a while now! ‘Setting’ sprays versus ‘finishing’ sprays. What exactly is the difference? A spray should be a spray, right? Nope. They are totally different! A setting spray creates almost a barrier on top (or underneath) your make up to help lock it in place. This helps with longevity and integrity of the make up. Usually these contain some form of alcohol in them. My absolute favorite example of this is the URBAN DECAY - All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray . I have about five bottles of this in my make up room. This fine spray definitely helps lock in my make up. A finishing spray is practically just that, a finisher. It’s meant to help melt the powders into the skin and finish off your make up. It will not help with the longevity but will help give a less cakey/powdery look to the skin. Good examples of this are MAC - Prep + Prime Fix+ Primer and Setting Spray, Original Soothing Herbalwhich I actually didn’t care for. I don’t like the spray nozzle on this and I found it actually gave me a dewy appearance which I’m already oily as is so my make up ended up looking worse at the end of the day (then again, I was using it incorrectly in the past as a “setting” spray so that’s on user error). Another popular example is the MORPHE - Continuous Setting Mist. So if you’re looking for longevity go setting spray and if you’re looking to melt the powders into the skin look finishing spray.

Too Faced-Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Concealer
Everyday lipsticks! 💄 Since I was in highschool, the one beauty thing that I felt was most important was lippies. Lipbalms, liptints, lipsticks or lipgloss really made a difference back then, it was all about red rosy lips 🙌🏻 I can call it for an addiction maybe, because it’s still the same for me now 😅 These are a few of the lipsticks that I tend to reach out to a lot. MAC Powder Kiss Lipstick Swatch in Reverence
This is the MAC Powder Kiss Lipstick in the shade Reverence, a soft yellow pink. This lipstick is a matte formula that gives the lips an almost blurred look. This color is great, but I’m not 100% sold on the formula. The texture is odd and I almost wish it provided more of a blurred look. It isn’t hydrating at all, which is a con for me as well. Best Fair Skinned Transition Color? MAC KID
MAC - MAC Matte Eyeshadow PRODUCT A light brown matte shade that is meant to be used as a transition shade, all over lid shade, or to set your base. OPINION I’ve had this shadow (repeatedly) for years now. It is the ultimate transition shade for those with really fair or pale skin as it is not to warm or neutral and can also give a great all over wash of color. I’ve gone through 2-3 of them and was devastated when it was discontinued, but they brought it back! So I have 3 right now because I know I never want to be without it. It’s really beautiful and I use it over and over again. I highly recommend this and rate it 5/5 stars!
