Looking for La Mer Skin Dupes?
It’s not these. Sorry. I did the testing so you didn’t have to. To be fair, I didn’t mean to be the guinea pig, but here we are. NIVEA - NIVEA Crème Incredibly thick, needs a lot of emulsifying, pleasant smell. Horrible on the face. Does wonders for the dry skin on my hands, arms & legs. It says “does not clog pores” but, well...it does. Skip the face. WELEDA - Skin Food Original Ultra-Rich Cream Very thick, definitely emulsify first, leaves an almost oily layer on the skin that takes a long time to sink in. Used it before bed as a night cream for almost 2 months. I broke out a lot. Overall I don’t hate this product, but again...skip the face. Use it on your dry winter hands.

Evening Routine Necessities 🌙 & a La Mer Dupe!?
SUNDAY RILEY - A+ High-Dose Retinol Serum — This is truly the fountain of youth! Compared to other products containing retinol, that I’ve tired, this is superior! (I do in part think the 6.5% retinoid is in part to blame.) I use this a couple times a week and it is the only thing that really reduces wrinkles/fine lines. I don’t use this product in conjunction with many others because it’s very strong—I’ll use a gentle cleanser with my Foreo Luna Play Plus, tone, apply eye cream, apply the retinoid, and then moisturize. $85 is a bit too pricey for me to purchase out front, so I waited for a sale and found it for $60 at Urban Outfitters during a 30% off beauty sale. NIVEA - NIVEA Crème — I purchased this online through Amazon for $11 after hearing on some blogs that it was a dupe for the elite LA MER - LA MER Moisturizing Cream(which retails for $190 for 1oz). While Nivea is sold stateside, usually in a plastic tub in their signature royal blue, I specifically ordered this one from Amazon due to the fact it’s the German version, which has a different formula than the US version and is therefore more similar to La Mer’s The Moisturizing Cream. While I haven’t tried La Mer’s moisturizer, I am really impressed with the German version of the Nivea Creme so far! I apply this in the evening by taking a small amount of product and rubbing it between my hands until it’s no longer white/thick, I then press it into my skin and move my hands in an up and out matter to blend it in. This creme is definitely fragranced, so it might not be the best for sensitive skin. After a few nights of use, the dry/flakey skin on the top of my forehead and nose have totally disappeared and swapped for smooth glowing skin! While I don’t think this is a necessity for the summer months, it’s been great to counteract the effects of fall winds and dry weather. If you’re going to buy this as a La Mer dupe, buy the German version on Amazon or through another retailer! SEPHORA COLLECTION - Rose Quartz Gua Sha — This is my first Gua Sha and I love it so far! Prior to purchasing this, I was using a jade roller from Ulta that I wasn’t blown away by—the roller always squeaked and felt rickety. The Gua Sha is incredibly easy to hold, clean, and use compared to the roller I tried. This is typically the last step in my routine, after a moisturizer, and I find it helps my products sink into my skin. To use, I follow a short YouTube video to use the Gua Sha to remove fluid from and lift my face. For $12, you can’t go wrong! Lano - Everywhere Multi-Cream — Instead of a super thick hand cream, I’ve been using this on my cuticles and tops of my hands to help my hands with the consistent hand sanitizer, washing, and dry fall weather. My hands and cuticles feel much softer and look healthier! This cream is unscented and can be used everywhere, a little goes a long way!

La Mer Dupe???? ❗
NIVEA - Refreshingly Soft Moisturizing Creme Is just that! a soft, thick & creamy moisturizer that leaves your skin plump and hydrated. I apply this during the day after my vitamin C serum and before sunscreen. takes a few minutes to absorb and is super affordable! PROS: thick & creamy, a little goes a long way, unscented, brand has been around for many years, affordable, no color, very moisturizing and does not pill under sunscreen, non irritating, for all skin types CONS: comes in plastic container, can be contaminated with fingers, spatula is needed to protect product from contamination. overall I LOVE NIVEA - Refreshingly Soft Moisturizing Creme It's my daily moisturizer! It leaves my skin dewy & hydrated all day.

DRY CUTICLE SOS: 3 TOP TIPS
My cuticles are taking a beating lately - specially at this time where we’re washing our hands and using alcohol-based hand sanitizers more than ever. However, it doesn’t have to stay that way - here are my three top tips for cuticle care. TIP 1: DON’T CUT THEM Instead of cutting your cuticles when doing an at-home manicure, use a cuticle remover and gently push back any sticky skin on your nails. This ensures that technically there’s less cuticle to get dry while still keeping them looking smooth and tidy. It also reduces the likely hood of a cuticle infection if you cut them wrongly. The only thing I recommend cutting is any large, dead pieces of skin or hangnails. Do this every two weeks. BLUE CROSS - Cuticle Remover NICKAK - Cuticle Nipper Single ULTA BEAUTY - Cuticle Pusher TIP 2: USE CUTICLE OIL Like our hair, our nails and the cuticle benefit from using moisturizing cuticle oil. They help to soften the skin around the nail to prevent hangnails from forming! Cuticle oils also help strengthen your nails to grow longer and stronger. Use a cuticle oil at least once a day! TIP 3: USE HAND CREAM This is one of the easiest things to do to take care of cuticles - use a hand cream every time after using a hand sanitizer. Repeated use of alcohol on skin can be very drying, and it’s important to replenish it ASAP! Using a hand cream right after helps to reduce the drying effect of alcohol on your cuticles and hands in general. NIVEA - Refreshingly Soft Moisturizing Creme Here’s a roundup: EVERY TWO WEEKS: Push Back Cuticles EVERY DAY: Use Cuticle Oil AS OFTEN AS YOU WANT: Use Hand Cream

How I Keep My Legs Silky Smooth
I’m very OCD about shaving my legs. I shave every other day. From the tops of my feet all the way up to the top of my thighs. So, I’m incredibly picky about a razor, shave cream, and body wash. I’ve found that women’s razors just don’t last as long- especially if you have coarse hair like I do. (Hispanic/Osage Indian girl here) It seems like I use a 5-blade Women’s razor once and it’s dull. About a year ago I borrowed my husband’s razor because mine was super dull. I never gave it back! 😂 I’ve been using Bic 5-blade men’s razors ever since. I think they’re $4.88-$5.00 for a pack of 4 at Walmart. And they last! The one pictured was opened 5 weeks ago and it’s still sharp and giving me a great shave. First, I wash my legs with Dove body wash. Then, I spread the equate - equate Shave Gel with Argan Oil - Coconut from the tops of my feet to the top of my legs- right under my booty. I shave upwards, rinse, reapply shave gel on just my thighs (above the knee to below my booty) and shave downward - the opposite direction I first did. Rinse. Finally, I use NIVEA - In-Shower Nourishing Lotion apply in a circular motion. In the winter when my skin is particularly dry, this body wash/lotion is amazing and my skin soaks it right in. I then rinse the excess in-shower lotion and I pat my legs dry. After shaving I apply NIVEA - Shea Daily Moisture Body Lotion . I exfoliate once a week. My legs are always silky smooth and soft and shiny! ❤️

I have already raved about the NIVEA - In-Shower Nourishing Lotion and now I am going to talk about its cousin, NIVEA - Shea Daily Moisture Body Lotion . It is a nourishing body lotion that locks in moisture for up to 48 hours. It is perfect for dry skin because of its deep moisture serum packed with shea butter. My experience: I accidentally grabbed this formula thinking it was the same as NIVEA - Essentially Enriched Body Lotion, the brother of the in-shower lotion. This one is thinner than that one and at first I didn’t like it. Now, I do. It leaves my skin feeling so soft. I love it. Recommend? Sure do. Specs: 16.9 fl.oz./500 mL

Let’s talk lotion
When it comes to lotion I’m not huge on it really. Or at least I wasn’t. Ever since getting into skincare and I guess just getting older I pay more attention to what I use on my body. My favorite lotion has and will always be Nivea until I’m proven there is something better but since I ran out I tried out some other lotions. Here’s my rates for the lotions I currently use! Dermasil Eczema Relief 8.5/10 This is a really nice and moisturizing lotion especially for the unbelievable price of $1. I got this from the dollar tree because the other members of my household use this and I decided to give it a try for myself. It has a super thick consistency so it isn’t as easily spread which can get a bit annoying but it gets the job done. I have super dry skin and I feel like this quenches my skins thirst. It just gets deducted points because it could have a bit more slip to it and plus yk....it could stand to be a bit more luxurious looking 😗 Victoria Secret Velvet Petals 6/10 Great scent, not so great lotion 😭 This lotion is essentially scented water. Has an extreme amount of slip and is super girly plus has a nice scent to it but it gives my skin nothing. It’s nice for when I have a date but I usually have to apply a more moisturizing lotion or like body oil under it to help me stay moisturized better. This was gifted to me so idk how much it was but I wouldn’t buy this or any other lotion like this unless it was on sale for $5 or under lmaooo Jason Soothing Coconut lotion 5/10 The scent....isn’t the best 🙃 Dont get me wrong it’s not horrible at all but they could have spruced up the coconut scent or something 🙈. Besides the blah scent this is a nice lotion. Nice slip so it spreads easily, yet it’s moisturizing so my skin isn’t missing out on anything with this one. I just wish the smell wasn’t so damn weird. I got this for $3 from the tjmaxx clearance and I’m glad I only paid $3 for it because god forbid I had paid $5 or above for this stuff. I would’ve been hurt. I’m really particular about scents so this was the equivalent of the st Ives scrub for me (I’ll buy the product again but this scent? Hellllllll no) Aveeno Stress Relief lotion 9/10 I saved the best for last. My good old sis aveeno. I’m no stranger to the aveeno brand at all and I like their little lotions. Is it Nivea? LMAO definitely not, but it’s a nice stand in. This scent is really nice (my sister who is blind likes when I put it on lol) and it’s like a better version of the Jason lotion for me. Gold slip but good moisture as well. I’ve gone through like two bottles of this smell and like two of another smell but this will always be one of my favorite Nivea stand ins. NIVEA - Essentially Enriched Body Lotion Aveeno - Stress Relief Moisturizing Lotion JĀSON - Smoothing Coconut Hand & Body Lotion 227g VICTORIA'S SECRET - Fragrance Mists - Velvet Petals

Stretch Mark Prevention 🤰🏻🍼
During pregnancy the skin stretches a lot and it is easy for small breaks to occur due to the lack of elasticity and for unwanted stretch marks to appear. You must have your skin well hydrated throughout your pregnancy, so it is essential to apply a moisturizer or an oil indicated for pregnant women at least twice a day. Here I show you the products that helped me prevent stretch marks during my pregnancy: Bio-Oil - Multiuse Skincare Oil This magical position saved me! Bio‑Oil® Skincare Oil is the world’s leading scar and stretch mark product. NIVEA - Nourishing Care Body Wash NIVEA - NIVEA Crème NIVEA - Essentially Enriched Body Lotion Deep nourishing moisture Reduces the roughness of dry to very dry skin, after just 1 application. Locks in moisture & gives noticeably smoother skin. PALMER'S - Cocoa Butter Formula Oil With Vitamin E PALMER'S - Cocoa Butter Formula, Massage Cream for Stretch Marks I used Palmer’s products for the first few months of my pregnancy, they are good but NIVEA and BIO OIL products make me felt “safer”. Nivea creams and body wash are truly deep and nourishing hydration, I felt the difference immediately. The secret is prevention, the sooner you start is better. Good luck 👍🏻😉

HELP: STARTING A NEW ROUTINE?! 🤪
Hey all!! I’m newer to the skin scare space and looking for AM/PM routine suggestions. My skin is normal/combo and recently I’ve been having frequent dehydration which may be due to extra exercise in my daily routine. I’m looking for products to keep my skin CLEAN, HYDRATED, PROTECTED, PLUMP and GLOWY. I do have acne scars on my forehead, sides of my face, and chin. My most acne prone area is around my chin and it has been like this for the past few months- breakouts in that area every other day. I’ve been looking into the following products to help my skin: Cleanser: CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser Possible along with the CeraVe - Renewing SA Cleanser For Normal Skinfor my acne problem area hydration: PAULA'S CHOICE - Hyaluronic Acid Booster Or The Ordinary - Marine Hyaluronics Or DRUNK ELEPHANT - B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum For hydration Evening skin tone: PAULA'S CHOICE - 10% Niacinamide Boosterfor evening skin tone For additional serums/essences to make the skin appear more glowy/youthful I was thinking of trying: Krave - Great Barrier Relief Or TATCHA - Luminous Deep Hydration Firming Serum Exfoliation: PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator Moisturizer: Open to suggestions. Heard good things about CeraVe and Youth to the People The products I’m using now are Okay but I would like to step it up and have clear glowy skin without needing to use makeup :) I appreciate any suggestions/tips from more experienced skin care lovers 💖💖

I don’t recommend!!
NIVEA - Essentials 24h Moisture Boost + Matte Day Cream SPF15 I used this product a few months ago and my acne really started to take a turn. It was starting to be in deeper layers of my skin, cystic, my skin was also a lot more oily through out the day. I bought this product at a time where my skincare knowledge was not focused on ingredients. This product may or may not be the cause of my acne worsening, or maybe it’s just a case of bad timing. This product has alcohol denat way too high up the ingredients list, fourth to be exact. As I have previously mentioned alcohol denat can be very striping to the skin, which is how this cream was mattifying, despite the matte feeling at first as time goes on your skin will be so stripped it will need to produce even more oil to compensate. Alcohol denat is also very irritating and can also sometimes lead to breakouts. Overall a big no no in high concentration. Next on the Ingredients list after alcohol denat is cyclomethicone. A siloxane, another controversial ingredient in beauty products. Siloxanes do not break down so it is easy for them to contaminate the environment, and eventually reach us through our food (note that cyclomethicone May be an endocrine destruptor). Cyclomethicone is also a volatile silicon, so it evaporates into air, problem solved! WRONG, apparently it is toxic if inhaled. It is hard to know the truth with so much information on the internet. And though regulations of ingredients take the “not guilty, till proven” approach, I prefer to be safe than sorry. One of the reasons I bought this creme was the fact that it had SPF, but the sunscreen ingredients are also controversial ones, either environmental toxins, irritants or causing cellular damage. This product also has good ingredients (in much lower percentages), such as zinc oxide to help with acne and irritated skin (the percentage is probably so low it couldn’t be considered as a sunscreen ingredient). It also contains plant extracts. I personally believe you should do your own research and decide whether you’ll use a certain product or have a certain ingredient in your skincare. It is very confusing that we have to live in a world where we are worried if we are being slowly poisoned by what we use or eat, but that is the truth of it. I also can’t through this product out cause it may or may not be bad for the environment, I also can’t use it for the same reason and also the fact that it may or may not be bad for me. So I would NOT RECOMMEND this product to anyone, but the decision to buy this product and use it is in your hands, remember I’m no professional, just passionate.

Looking for Sunscreen ☀️
🌝 hello beauty lovers! 🤔 I'm looking for sunscreen suitable for darkskin. ❄ winter/summer? which sunscreen is best for each season? 📓 I already tried: NIVEA - Sensitive Protect SPF50 Sunscreen Lotion CeraVe - Mineral Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50 for Body with Zinc Oxide Aveeno - Sensitive Skin Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50 ➕ pros: they have a scent yes but super it's light. they're better for the environment bc they cause less waste and damage to the planet. ➖ cons: they leave a white cast. i look grey?! *help* they can be heavy, almost greasy on the skin, especially my forehead. 💛 I have a sensitive skin and try to choose unscented lotions when available. 👭🏾 a friend recommended the Supergoop! - Unseen Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 40 what do you think about this product? 💁🏾‍♀️ any tips/thoughts? 💆🏾‍♀️ thanks in advance

Battle of the Sunscreens! ☀️
Hey guys! These two sunscreens- the Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Sunscreen SPF 50 and the NIVEA - Sensitive Protect SPF50 Sunscreen Lotion are two drugstore sunscreens that are literally the same price ($17 AUD). Some pros to both sunscreens: Are SPF50 Broad spectrum protection (I.e. both UVA + UVB rays) 4hrs water resistant After using both for about 6 months each, I have to say that the Nivea one is much better. Here are some reasons why: Nivea one is not irritating to the skin at all (has aloe Vera and chamomile) & does not peel (as opposed to the Neutrogena one). It leaves a nice glow that works well under makeup. I found with the Neutrogena one it had a greasy texture (despite claiming not to) and doesn’t work as well under makeup. The Neutrogena one made me look a lot more oilier (even though I used to only apply a little). The Neutrogena one made my skin feel almost dirty and would peel even if I just slightly ran my hands over my face). The scent was not pleasant either, especially in comparison to the Nivea one. Good for sensitive skin- although my skin isn’t sensitive, it still works very well for me. Doesn’t get into my eyes!!! This is a big one; the Neutrogena one would go into my eyes (and mouth sometimes too) and would be extremely irritating to my dry eyes even when I wouldn’t put it near them, causing them to water almost for the rest of the day. And oh god, if it went into my mouth, it would leave an almost poisonous taste in my mouth that I couldn’t get rid of no matter how much I ate/how much water I would have. Is 200ml so lasts a long time (compared to 88ml). Has Vitamin E!! All in all, I would recommend the Nivea one- for the same price you can get more than double the amount of the Neutrogena one. It’s recommended that we apply about a teaspoon of sunscreen to our faces to get the max effect, so a larger size doesn’t hurt. When I used to use the Neutrogena one, I used to only dot it on my face and it looked super oily, and now I use the Nivea one which I can put about a teaspoon on and it blends in and looks glowy without looking oily. The only thing I’m concerned about is that it doesn’t claim to be non-comedogenic (like the Hydroboost sunscreen), but my pores have stayed the same and haven’t enlarged at all. That’s all for my review, hope you enjoyed! 🥰

Send my skincare routine some help!!
Just starting out on my skincare journey and could use some help for some better products!! I don’t have a tonne of money to spend but I know I could find better products!! My current routine start off with a eye makeup remover if I wore makeup that day using: NIVEA - Double Effect Eye Make-Up Remover This product struggles to help me take off mascara, and VERY VERY oily, hate how it feels on my eyes the next thing I do is take my spin brush and cleanse using: Neutrogena - Fresh Foaming Cleanser Not a terrible cleanser, good for my sensitive skin after cleanser I use toner Neutrogena - Alcohol Free Toner Don’t feel like this is doing anything for my skin, and makes absolutely no difference if I use it or not my last step is moisturizer CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin Best one I’ve been able to find that doesn’t make my skin super oily throughout the day

Best Eye Make-up Remover Under $10
Comparison with a high end product that i used to use and spend more money on for the same effect. Nivea: Taking care of skin around the eyes is not as easy as we think. It is very delicate and equally important to take right care of them. And if we can do that under our budget thats the dream! Nivea is a great budget brand that one can find easily in any drugstore. This Nivea eye make-up remover has been my friend for the past 3 months. I was sceptical in using this when i had my eye dryness but it took care if my eyes even then without burning the skin or drying them further. I used to use Clinique eye make-up remover but when i found this i fell in love and did not think twice switching. In fact i was happy that i saved so much money and did the same job. My usual skin type is combination but it worked well when my eyelids were dry too. It is very light weight and takes off eye make up in few swabs without having to rub the eyes too much. NIVEA - Double Effect Eye Make-Up Remover Lancome: Lancome eye make up remover is a product i had been using for a while before I laid my hands on Nivea eye make-up remover. I must tell you that the sole reason I changed my eye make-up remover is that Nivea does the exact same thing in a less price. Lancome is a great brand and I will always love it but we always look for good budget friendly products and Nivea eye make-up remover is the best alternative. nivea Cherry Blossom & Jojoba
nivea Cherry Blossom & Jojoba Oil Lotion to try out. The lotion is so lightweight it's almost a gel consistency. It spreads so evenly and smoothly across the skin and while initially it seems like it may be greasy, it then quickly absorbs into my skin leaving it soft and hydrated. I like the cherry blossom scent. It's soft and subtle - not overpowering or heavily floral at all. This is the perfect lotion for spring and summer when I need something that absorbs quickly and doesn't feel heavy or greasy on the skin, but still keeps me moisturized.

The holy grail chapsticks !
The holy grail chapsticks !
These two are by far the best chapsticks that I’ve tried. They aren’t sticky, but very smooth and they actually moisturize your lips - it lasts throughout the day and I probably only have to apply maybe once or twice! Unlike some others .. you have to keep reapplying and they just don’t do my lips any justice. I got them both at target and I believe you can find them at cvs. I would definitely recommend if you’re a lip product junkie and looking to find something that can help you stay moisturized and not chapped!

Do you like a rose in skincare
Do you like a rose in skincare? I have mixed feelings to roses but still, I decided to try Nivea Micellair Rose Water Milk & Toner. The thing that this product is 2 in 1 made me bit messed up since it's like a very thick toner that smells like alcohol and rose and kinda burns. The texture is nice but I just can't use it, it's not a product that works with sensitive skin even if micellar waters from Nivea are good. I guess it's a small disappointment and I'm a bit sad about it.

How do you remove makeup from
How do you remove makeup from your skin? I usually go for micellar water first and usually, my requirements related to micellar waters are quite low in my opinion - they don't have to remove makeup in 100% but 98-99% since I use oil cleanser after and I need them to be delicate since my eyes are ultrasensitive. How did this Nivea duo work for me? Even if the purple version is for sensitive eyes I prefer the professional version better because it has a delicate scent and black tea extract. They both work well - they remove makeup and dirt without any problem. The ingredients aren't perfect but for me, it's okay since I still remove micellar solutions with oil and foam.
