2nd attempt at Curly Girl
this is my second attempt at doing g CHM but j am doing my way. Last time I hated how gross my hair felt with all the products in it etc. and I had almost no results and my hair is naturally curly. So yesterday I washed with RepRenpure - Rosemary Mint Cleansing Conditioner which I like bc of the mint it feels nice on my scalp, like the tingle, but I feel like I need to use a ton to feel clean. then followed up with TRESemmé - Botanique Curl Hydration Shampoo which so far (1st time using) I liked definitely was helpful with detangling. and then after did HASK - Argan Oil Repairing Shine Oil Liked the smell and my hair didn't look greasy and the cantu - Shea Butter for Natural Hair Moisturizing Curl Activator Cream which I like, no cast or crunch, but I didn't want that, I'm sure you could get one.
let my hair air dry up and I am liking the results
I know some of these products may not be CG friendly, but I hated spending hours in the store and lots of money trying to find something CG friendly that worked for me. so I am hoping that i can stick with it and have better curls.

I Use These Drugstore Products Every Day!
Batiste - Pink Pineapple Dry Shampoo Fruity & Carefree HASK - Argan Oil Repairing Shine Oil #Cheriepartner
I can’t live without these two haircare products and they’re super affordable!
My hair type is long and thick, sometimes gets frizzy in the humidity. I love to add volume to my roots and add shine and hydration to my hair!
Hask Argan Oil: This is widely available at any drugstore and it’s only $7! They also have smaller bottles at $2.99. I love using this on damp hair to hydrate the ends of my hair. The oil also speeds up the hair drying process when it’s wet. I also enjoy using this on dry hair if my hair needs a little added shine. The second photo will show you the texure of this oil, not too thick and not too thin! This is a holy grail for me!
Batiste Dry Shampoo: I’ve been using this for years! I’m sure a lot of you have tried this dry shampoo but this brand is seriously my favorite. It’s widely available online and in stores and it’s less than $7! I love using this so I don’t have to wash my hair everyday. It absorbs the oil in my roots and gives my hair volume at the same time! I love using this before bed by spraying it into my roots. Over night, the powder will rub into your hair and when you wake up, it’ll be super fresh and volumized. What’s your favorite dry shampoo?
These are the two drugstore haircare products I cannot live without! I’m excited to try more!

my hair journey♡︎
Before turning 14, I had never done ANYTHING to my hair. Only trims maybe every 6 months or once each year. Once I cut it for the first time, I couldn’t stop.
Here’s a timeline of my hair so far!
starting out with my long hair, I started out with very blonde hair and it slowly turned darker. It would only grow to about my ribs, unfortunately for my younger self who wanted to be rapunzel🤧
I cut it for the first time on my 14th birthday as a gift from my mom. I went to the salon and donated 13 inches, giving myself a long bob. I even had it bleached a little bit and toned pink. 💖It was an expensive trip💀. I tend to lean towards box dye now, to the sorrow of my hair.
I had decided that wasn’t enough, and the next February I cut my first pixie. 💇♀️My mom was terrified, but for me it was very refreshing. I couldn’t stop touching the back of my head. I change the cut up just a bit later on, but I always kept the top on the long side.
my favorite part! I got my hair bleached at the salon to almost paper white. I was surprised by the color, to be honest I had no idea what the word platinum blonde was at the time of talking to my hairdresser. I was honestly expecting a light blonde 😅. But I loved it! I kept that hairstyle for a long time until it grew out.
as it grew out, I didn’t have the money to go back to the salon, so I used box bleach (bad idea😬). My hair turned orange, so I went in for a round 2 the next day. It lightened my hair up, but I was still yellow. I gave up at that point, and decided to dye it grey. Surprisingly, as the grey faded out I ended up with the color I wanted!😄
I touched it up quite a bit, but quickly got bored since I’ve been blonde, well my whole life😐. I went to Sally’s and was hoping to pick up green and orange, but they didn’t really have a neon orange so I picked up pink💖. I loove split dye but never tried it out. My hair was already bleached, why not change things up?
That leads me to today! I’ve had my hair like this for a few months, and I’m ready to change again! I’m thinking black on the pink side🖤 (it’s pretty difficult to maintain😅) and an electric green over the dark green💚 (it’s faded quite a bit, especially at the ends.)
Also, HOW THE HECK DO I DAMAGE MY HAIR THIS MUCH?? Honestly, the best solution to getting rid of damaged hair is chopping it off 😅 it’s easier to do that if you have short hair definitely.
Products I use in the shower:
HASK - Monoi Coconut Oil Nourishing Conditioner
HASK - Monoi Coconut Oil Nourishing Shampoo
Honestly, despite being drugstore brand these two helped my hair regain softness after bleaching so much.

Smells like heaven but feels like meh....
I tried this deep conditioner for the first time but it didn’t impress.
Put it under a cap for 10 min in a very hot shower. Smells amazing and felt great during the deep condition, but when washed out my hair was left feeling waxy.
See the next photo (swipe) for an example of the post-wash hair without any additional product. I think it’s the coconut oil. That never does good on my hair 🤷🏾♀️

Affordable Curly Shampoo and Conditioner! 🥥➿
This post is for all of my fellow curly hair people :). Curly hair is beautiful and super fun to work with, but let’s be honest, it can be quite expensive to manage. Curly hair needs shampoo, conditioner, leave in conditioner, curling cream/lotion, and even mousse to be able to maintain a hydrated and voluminous texture. These products add up and sometimes the outcome does not come out as expected. I have had a lot of trials and tribulations with my hair (I have 3a/3b curly hair), but I am so grateful that I have found HASK. The Hask Curl Care Shampoo and Curl Care Conditioner have treated my hair really well! They smell amazing, have no sulfates/parabens and they also do not affect colored/dyed hair. The best part is that they are only about 5 dollars each :0; I found them at Walmart for these prices. It is nice to be able to have an affordable, but effective curly hair routine! I want to thank @Rosemariefor this suggestion😊

I’m just sharing these because they are so UNDERRATED and it took me a LONG time to find products that worked wonders on my hair ! Plus, they are really affordable, which makes then even better! Coconut milk and honey will moisturize, while other ingredients will enhance the hair’s quenching ability and will leave an amazing smell! I truly hope that these products make a difference to some of you!

Hask Dry Shampoo
One of my all time favorite dry shampoos!! Absolutely love the scent, makes you feel like you’re on a beach. This product does leave a little white residue on my hair but it’s fine once I brush through it. This gives my hair so much volume and definitely helps with the oily texture of my hair. I use this on the days after washing my hair when it starts to look flat or greasy. Totally recommend! HASK - Coconut Dry Shampoo

Post Shampoo Preblowout HAIR MAGIC
I haven’t talked about it a whole lot on here YET but I am OBSESSED with I’d say almost all of the hask line.
The cream oil after I wash my hair before I blow it out is an absolute must for me! It helps nourish the hair, coating it to protect it from heat styling and helps keep the stands smooth and shiny.
I usually use about a dime sized amount of product rub it between my hands and then run my hands through my hair. Brush it through with my fingers and then with a hair brush before blow drying.

HASK - UnWined Red Wine 10-in-1 Leave-In Spray
So this stuff is great, I used to use hair oil and realized it just made my hair greasy and didn’t do much. Intro this product and suddenly my hair is soft and heat protected! Double win! It doesn’t feel heavy or anything in my hair, which is fine and dry. Would buy again.
