PLEASE HELP ❗️❗️❗️❗️
Recently, I have been experiencing terrible breakouts around my cheek, ear and jawline area. They are super painful and when they heal they leave behind terrible dark spots. This has taken a serious toll on my mental health and self esteem. If there is any products, diet of habits that you recommend for my struggle with acne please let me know. Thank you! These are the products I use in the Am: PLANTS FOR SKIN - African Black Soap Face and Body Bar THAYERS - Witch Hazel Astringent CeraVe - AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 Pm routine: PanOxyl - Acne Foaming Wash Benzoyl Peroxide 10% Maximum Strength THAYERS - Witch Hazel Astringent Cetaphil - Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream My exfoliants: TATCHA - The Rice Polish Foaming Enzyme Powder THE BODY SHOP - Vitamin C Glow-Revealing Liquid Peel Products I used in the past (that didn’t work) CeraVe - SA Smoothing Cleanser CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser bliss - Glow & Hydrate Day Serum bliss - Renew & Smooth Night Serum The Ordinary - Alpha Lipoic Acid 5%
Starting differin and panoxyl
I wanted to document my skin journey before I started using differin to see my skin’s improvement. I’m slowly introducing it once every two weeks and then using it more often nightly. My current skincare routine in the am is DR. BRONNER'S - Organic Eucalyptus Castile Liquid Soap This product is great for shaving and other purposes but I haven’t seen any difference in my skin GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Brightening Toner Makes my skin really bright and awake GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Serum Makes my pores look smaller and gives me bright skin as well ACURE - Radically Rejuvenating Eye Cream This was a waste of money I didn’t really see any difference in my under eyes. The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 A little sticky but makes my skin feel very moisturized. PURITO - Centella Green Level Unscented Sun SPF50+ Makes my skin feel a little oily but there is no white cast. For pm I use LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Purifying Foaming Cleanser Makes my skin feel very clean great for oily skin And then I continue with the am routine minus the spf. ADVANCED CLINICALS - Dark Spot Corrector I then use this product last it has made my dark spots much less noticeable. Once a week The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution I haven’t seen much improvement in my skin. I don’t feel much at all using this product. I oil cleanse with castor and jojoba oil then use my la roche cleanser Previously I have used The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Very sticky but improved my acne there was purging with this product initially. THAYERS - Witch Hazel Astringent I used this out of habit for a long time there was no improvement in my skin. I’m also going to be switching out my am cleanser for PanOxyl - Acne Foaming Wash Benzoyl Peroxide 10% Maximum Strength I understand the two products I’m going to be using make your skin very dry so if you have any moisturizer recommendations please leave them below. If there’s anything you think I can change in my routine or any advice please feel free to leave a comment. This is my first week starting these two products I will continue to leave updates. Thank you!

Thayers changed their formula
I used this as a toner in my routine and the first bottle worked great. However after reordering it on amazon I noticed it made my face burn a little . According to reviews they changed the formula. And i have my old bottle and can confirm they did. They removed the grapefruit seed extract and THAYERS - Rose Petal Facial Mist added more chemicals: caprylyl glycol, ethylhexlglycerin, and potassium hydroxide the ladder is probably the new ingredient making my face burn. The first pic was the original formula The second pic is the new one
Why Thayers Witch Hazel Toner is 👍 and 👎
Around April 2019, I added BHA to my skincare routine and was using it daily. My skin experienced redness and burn marks since I was not letting other products dry properly before applying my BHA. In my state of panic, I messaged my Curology provider right away. 👍 Along with my Curology formula, she recommended I purchase Thayers Witch Hazel Toner. It’s 100% effective against redness. Within a month, it soothed the burnt dark spots I had and I couldn’t have asked for more. I used it everyday for a whole month by applying the toner onto a cotton pad, gently swiping over my entire face. 👎 In 30 days what I learnt was that witch hazel is a natural astringent. So even if it’s alcohol-free, an astringent is a type of chemical that shrinks or constricts body tissues causing dryness. It started to strip away the surface layer of my skin until I noticed flakes all over sensitive areas of my face: nose and chin. Take a peek at my second picture where I try to highlight those areas. CONCLUSION: Overall, if you suffer from redness or minor burns then please use witch hazel toner until you need it but never forget the step of moisturizing! It works but you don’t need this applied permanently into your skincare routine. RECOMMENDATION: If you bought into the fad and have a big bottle at home, don’t worry. Witch hazel is so versatile and can be used for: - relieves minor cuts by reducing 🩸 bleeding - soothe razor burns 🪒 and diaper rashes 🐣 - spot treatment for acne spots and pimples - helps treat hemorrhoids for anyone suffering 🙏 - tucks medicated pads without the cotton pad. Hooray for postpartum mamas! The product has so many good reviews and its always easy to believe in the overhype. I hope THAYERS - Rose Petal Facial Mist works out for you if you’re using it daily but there’s so many more toners out there that is way better for your skin that can address your skin concerns without over drying. Let’s strive for happier and healthier skin. Thanks for reading! 🤩

skin transformation diaries: intro and 1 week!
I've decided to undergo a little skin care transformation. Pictures are from the 1 week I've used these products so far! I am going to continue this routine and post more entries as I go on. The products I use are: 1. Spacewash by Starface a. Applied with Meejee 2. Thayer's Witch Hazel Toner (spray form) 3. The Ordinary's Niacinamide a. Applied with Jade Roller 4. (Under eyes) The Ordinary's Caffeine Solution a. Applied with Jade Roller 5. (AM ONLY) Glossier Invisible Shield 35 SPF 6. Moisture on Mars by Starface Sometimes I like to use the Starface pimple patches⭐️ Reviews: 1. Spacewash by Starface- 11/10! Hands down the best face wash I've ever used. It foams really nicely especially paired with my Meejee, and leaves my skin feeling so clean. 2. Meejee- 10/10! Exceeded my expectations 10 fold. Really nothing I could think of improving in this product. It's super gentle on my sensitive skin, it feels really nice and really gets the job done cleansing my skin. 3. Thayer's Witch Hazel Toner- 6/10. I've been using this product for 3 years and I really do think it works but as many people will tell you, it does burn a little bit. 4. The Ordinary Niacinamide- 8/10. I haven't developed much of an opinion on this product yet but I think it's definitely helped to minimize the textures in my skin. Although I didn't take any pictures of this, around my jaw on my cheeks is very textured and I've noticed some serious improvement! 5. The Ordinary Caffeine Solution- ??/10. I haven't been paying attention to if this works or not😬😬Sorry! I will be taking more of that in the future. 6. Jade Roller by ina beauty- 11/10! I was looking for a cheap roller to get and I found this one on Amazon for $7. Read some reviews and my expectations weren't very high but I was blown away but the quality of this thing. I absolutely love using it especially because it's nice and cold even though I keep it in a room temp drawer in my bathroom! Feels very nice. 7. Glossier Invisible Shield- 7/10. I doubt there will be a physical change caused by this product because it's a protective measure, and a necessary one in Texas! The only reason I've taken some points off is because it makes my skin feel kind of greasy, although it goes away after given proper time to absorb, and sometimes i notice what appears to be dead skin coming off of my face but I think it's something from the sunscreen. I'm not sure though. 8. Moisture on Mars by Starface- 200000/10!!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE. I have "normal" skin, and moisturizers make it oily but a moisturizer is necessary. When I found this product I think God sent it from Heaven himself. I adore this product. It makes my skin so glowy and doesn't feel heavy or cause any breakouts due to unnecessary oil. LOVE.The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% STARFACE - Space Wash meejee - Meejee The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG THAYERS - Cucumber Facial Mist Glossier. - Invisible Shield Daily Sunscreen
Since I been working from home I was finally able to get a morning routine and found one that works for me, and can be done when I’m in a rush especially. So I start off by washing my face w the Aveeno - Positively Radiant Brightening Facial Cleanser , I just got it from target bc I needed something less concentrated and drying. So just as a gentle cleanser in the morning I like this. Once I dry my face, and I’ve toned using my THAYERS - Cucumber Facial Mist . I drop a few drops of Bio-Oil - Multiuse Skincare Oil and apply it to my chin as that’s where most of my concerns are ; I have a lot of hyperpigmentation in that area bc of my PCOS. Just before moving on, for a little extra uumph and hydration, I mist my hyaluronic acid and rose water spray and fan it dry. Next, I begin w my serums. So from “lightest to heaviest”. I apply my Nolaskinsentials - Brightening-C Serum (I LOVE THIS SERUM!!!!! It has helped soooo much with lightening my dark spots, in addition to it helping brighten my skin all together... 12/10 rating! And it’s blackowned) I follow that up w The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 (not pictured since I’m waiting for my package to be delivered). Currently I’m using a product as a fill in. I bought this from Marshall’s for about $5 so I may just use this and compare the two once my package does arrive. Bc it’s honestly a pretty decent serum. Moving right along, w my The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG , I use this for my eyes bc ya girl apparently hates a good night’s rest and I started getting bags under my eyes, this came as a shock bc never have I ever and also my eyes are too small for bags so I definitely had to get that situated and seriously it helps. I would recommend this to anyone who doesn’t really have a “concern” of their eye area bc it is still good to just be proactive and preserve your good eyes while you have a chance! And to wrap things up, I finish off with my Neutrogena - Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel Moisturizer the best stuff ever and my Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Water Gel Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30 . I learned recently that 1. Hydrated skin and moisturized skin are in two completely different categories. The water gel moisturizer is a good investment if you’ve had issues with your pores. Literally the holy grail! And super affordable. And I just got into using sunscreen and omg !!! My life literally did a 180° and I’m obsessed. Don’t leave the house w out it anymore!!! So good for dark spots!!! So yeah, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it. Everyone’s skin is different, and I hope you’re able to be inspired to find what works for you!

can't just stick to one regimen 😬 plz help!
Ok ppl, I've bought quite a few things to kick start a AM routine and a PM routine but it seems like I just can't stick to one or two items 😑 which is probably why I'm not seeing great results 😕 can yall help me stick to one or maybe even cancel out some things??? a little FYI: I have Dry sometimes sensitive skin (mostly dry tho). Got a couple acne scars but nothing too serious. Lots of black heads 😣 i feel because im putting too much product on my face im getting alot of black heads around my cheeks and chin. so in the AM I have a couple cleansers I like to use: TATCHA - The Rice Wash Skin-Softening Cleanser or the CeraVe - Hydrating Face Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skin next I put Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Hydrating Serum i like it but I want something more hydrating. I also have OLE HENRIKSEN - Truth Serum but I've heard some negative things about it so I rarely apply it in the AM, more towards the PM. so here is where I might be doing it wrong, I put on CeraVe - Mineral Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50 for Body with Zinc Oxide before my moisturizer. Now I like the sunscreen, it does have that white cast but once I put moisturizer it kinda goes away. I do have the Supergoop! - Unseen Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 40 which i alternate depending on what ill be doing that day. lastly, I have tons of moisturizers. I need something that will hydrate my face all day or at least all day. I have the TATCHA - The Dewy Skin Cream which i LOVE but I hate using it everyday cuz 1. it's EXPENSIVE and 2. it can be a bit too hydrating where it looks oily toward the end of the day. I like using this one more at night time. Another moisturizer I use is the OLE HENRIKSEN - C-Rush Vitamin C Gel Moisturizer also heard negative things about so I'll wear it more for the PM. I have SUNDAY RILEY - C.E.O. Vitamin C Rich Hydration Cream which is AMAZING! 👏👏 this gives me just the right amount of hydration and it doesn't feel heavy or tacky like the CeraVe - CeraVe Moisturising Cream which i rather use at night as well. This one doesn't give me as much hydration as I would like. oh and for toners the only thing I have is THAYERS - Rose Petal Facial Toner its ok, if anyone else has recommendations plz feel free to drop some info plz 🙏 Anywho, this is pretty much what I use for both AM and PM. I do have 2 exfoliaters the Murad - AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser and OLE HENRIKSEN - Transforming Walnut Scrub which I will alternate as well. If anyone has any recommendations or tips for ya girl PLZ feel free. Lmk if I need to add or take out some of the things I use. Can't wait to see your guy's feedback 🤗😓
Battle of Face Toners
Maybe you don’t use a face toner in your skincare routine but it is a must-have for my combination skin. In the past, toner was deemed unnecessary as they contain too much alcohol or were too drying. These days, toners do just the opposite, and help contribute to a healthy and radiant glow that we covet. After cleansing, my skin may feel taut and dry. Toners help to bring my skin back to its natural acidic state, sweeping impurities away and helping my skin absorb the next few skincare products that I apply. This is especially useful as it helps to balance the moisture in my oily T-zone and dry cheeks. I’m using two toners at the moment. The first is my current favorite toner – Vitamin Berry Facial Tonic by Farmhouse Fresh, a local brand from Texas. This alcohol-free tonic really helps to minimize my pores, and more importantly boost my skin’s hydration content right cleansing. It contains locally-grown organic aronia berries, which is considered a miracle fruit with one of the highest antioxidant contents ever recorded! I also spritz it throughout the day for instant refreshment and hydration. USD36 for 3.5oz FARMHOUSE FRESH - Vitamin Berry Facial Tonic The second toner that I am using is Thayers Alcohol-Free Witch Hazel Facial Toner. Formulated with aloe vera and witch hazel extract, the affordable toner soothes and naturally cleanses the skin. I lean towards skincare products made with rose-petal water for its skin-soothing properties. Witch hazel extract in the toner acts as astringents which can help tighten the skin. To use, I apply with a cotton ball or soft pad to cleanse and moisturize skin after cleansing. USD10.95 for 12oz THAYERS - Rose Petal Facial Toner

MOVE ON FROM WITCH HAZEL!
I'm gonna be honest and say: I BOUGHT THE THAYER'S TONER BECAUSE OF THE HYPE! You remember when this was almost always sold out & it was plastered all over the internet. I did not do enough research of my own & that's okay, we all make mistakes especially when it comes to skincare. All I knew was, I have oily skin, the formula is alcohol-free, and witch hazel is good for your skin! Right? ....Kind of. THAYERS - Lavender Facial Toner I used Thayer's Lavender Witch Hazel Toner EVERY DAY for almost a year and short-term, I did see results. Witch hazel is a natural astringent that can dry out inflammatory & noninflammatory blemishes. My blackheads started clearing and my skin was less oily which made me keep it in my routine. But over time, my skin started feeling tight and needed more & more moisture with every passing day. It even became more sensitive to masks/peels I had done before! I hated my oily skin but being completely dried out is not what I wanted either. So... I made the transition to Pixi! pixi - Collagen Tonic For some info on this product & its ingredients: Acacia Collagen: plant-derived collagen substitute; plumps & volumizes skin, hydrates the skin, works to maintain hydration. Peptides: tone/firm the skin, improve the skin barrier, & helps ease inflammation. Coconut Water: conditions & hydrates. Fruit Extracts: promote youthful skin with antioxidant benefits. For myself, this toner lasts in my medicine cabinet & comes in easier to use packaging. I used to use cotton pads but with this, I can tap the product into my hands. This makes me spend less on cotton pads & helps the environment (side note: invest in reusable cotton pads; you won't regret it!). On top of that, it's NEVER too soon to start anti-aging. The vegan collagen & peptides work to balance the skin. Lastly, this product is helping me reverse the long term effects of witch hazel. Slowly but surely it has made my skin feel smooth, supple, & happy again! My skin stays hydrated throughout the day & I honestly feel like my makeup is starting to go on smoother. If you're looking for a hydrating toner, LOOK NO FURTHER!
Skincare Strugglebus 🚌
So I had a good, simple routine for a long time and my skin was great! Then I moved and now my skin is so much different. I’ve been using tons of products trying to get results but I think I’ve been tormenting my skin and not giving any one product enough of a chance to do it’s thing so I’m trying to simplify. Right now my skin is dry, dehydrated, red and bumpy and my pores have gotten huge and black and icky and I’m really frustrated. I like to think that I’m knowledgeable about skincare but I still have a lot to learn. If you have any thoughts on my current products that would help the most! I have a lot and need a real routine. AM routine: Rinse my face with water. If I’m oily (which isn’t often) I will go in with THAYERS - Lavender Facial Toner but only on my t-zone, my cheeks can’t handle it. Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Gel-Cream VERSED - Daily Mineral Sunscreen Broad Spectrum a little greasy but non irritating and only if I go outside. PM: FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm only if I wear makeup and spf For cleansers I’ve been using DRUNK ELEPHANT - Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser Too Faced - Hangover Wash The Day Away Gentle Foaming Cleanser I also have a sample size of belif - Aqua Bomb Jelly CleanserI haven’t used and sometimes I will VERY GENTLY scrub with fresh - Sugar Strawberry Exfoliating Face Wash I have 3 different toners, I use fresh - Rose Deep Hydration Toner but it’s started to sting a bit with all the fragrance. I just purchased LANEIGE - Cream Skin Toner & Moisturizerand also GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow PHA+BHA Pore-Tight Tonerwhich I want to incorporate instead. Maybe alternate? I loved FARMACY - Very Cherry Bright 15% Clean Vitamin C Serum with Acerola Cherry but I think it went bad bc it stings so much now. I use PEACH & LILY - Glass Skin Refining Serum every day but I might switch to DRUNK ELEPHANT - B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serumthoughts? YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream with Ashwagandha + Reishi never switching! other products I own: YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask LANEIGE - Cica Sleeping MaskGLOW RECIPE - Watermelon + AHA Glow Sleeping Mask ORIGINS - Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream I DEW CARE - Cake My Day Hydrating Sprinkle Wash-Off Mask DRUNK ELEPHANT - Protini Polypeptide Cream YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Air-Whip Moisture Cream

Love this Thayers Witch Hazel toner but....
This THAYERS - Unscented Facial Toner is hands down the best toner I have used! I have been using this for months and It’s here to stay in my skincare routine. I am a combination skin type but my skin can be pretty sensitive so toners have always been a hit or miss for me. I bought this from my local Target (retails for about $11) and I started using it as the 2nd step in my skincare routine morning and night. It usually follows my cleanser. I could tell right away that my skin was brighter, softer and was even more balanced especially on days that I have on makeup. I ran out of the “Unscented” for a while and decided to try out the “original” instead. For some reason that did not quite work well with my skin. I noticed some irritation and minor breakouts days into using it. I decided to head back to the store and picked up the “unscented” once more and within two days my skin was back to normal. Not sure why that is, but that was my experience using the two. There are other scents available. However, my recommendation is that if you have sensitive skin, maybe stick to the “unscented”. I totally recommend!

How to Get Rid of Blackheads: Best Ingredients to Look For！
Blackheads are a skincare occurrence that most of us struggle with, whether you have oily skin or not. Before knowing what ingredients to use to get rid of them, what you need to do is understand what blackheads are in the first place. What is a blackhead? Blackheads are one of the most common forms of acne. Our pores sometimes get congested with dead skin and sebum. When this gunk comes in contact with the air, it gets oxidised, and turns black, and hence is called a blackhead. While some people are genetically prone to blackheads, and those with oily skin tend to have more, they can also occur due to hormonal changes (like puberty or starting a new hormonal birth control) or from wearing heavy makeup. Dermatologist-approved Ingredients for blackheads “The good news is that there is a cornucopia of over-the-counter products that contain effective ingredients to exfoliate, soften, and even remove blackheads,” says Allison Britt Kimmins, MD, MPH. Here I did some research about dermatologists to get the lowdown on which ingredients fight them best and some products recommendations. Salicylic acid Salicylic acid, found in many acne products, is a longtime skincare staple for its ability to unclog pores by cleaning out enlarged follicles that fill with sebum and become blackheads. Because the ingredient can irritate the skin if used too much, it’s best to use it as a targeted treatment instead of all over your face or body. Many people may be sensitive to salicylic acid and be able to use it more than once every few days. If you continue to react to it, discontinue use. Try:PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Gel Exfoliant This Paula’s Choice product has long been a cult-favourite salicylic acid exfoliator. The lightweight formulation absorbs quickly and is formulated at the optimal pH of 3.2 to 3.8 for maximum efficacy. Green tea extract is also present to provide calming and antioxidative properties. Glycolic acid An alpha hydroxy acid derived from sugarcane, gives blackhead-prone skin a fresh start. It goes to work by exfoliating the top skin layer and cleaning out clogged follicles. The benefits of this gentle acid are twofold. By dissolving the upper skin layer, it also triggers the skin cells to repair themselves—therefore creating more collagen. Try:exuviance - Pore Clarifying Cleanser It is soap-free formula and contains AHAs, PHAs, BHAs, suitable for oily and acne-prone skin. Azelaic acid "Azelaic acid is a dicarboxylic acid that helps exfoliate the skin and is synthesized by yeast naturally,"says NYC-based dermatologists Gervaise Gerstner, MD. It is a multifunctional skincare ingredient that targets blackheads and can also lighten the brown discolouration caused by acne. Try: DERMAdoctor - Photodynamic Therapy Age Spot Eraser & Skin Brightener A revolutionary brightening face treatment Developed with awardwinning, antiaging red light technology Formulated with hydroquinonefree botanical boosters Helps even skin discoloration. Benzoyl Peroxide Like salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide works as a keratolytic agent, which means it’s able to break down and loosen the dead skin cells on the surface of the skin and down in the pores. In addition to cleaning out pores, benzoyl peroxide fights the bacteria that lead to breakouts. Try:Clean&Clear - Persa-Gel 10 Acne Medication Spot Treatment It can be drying, however, and harsh on sensitive complexions. Spot treat on a small patch of skin first to make sure you don’t react. Witch Hazel Witch hazel, which naturally soothes blackhead-prone skin with anti-inflammatory properties, appears most commonly in toners. If your regimen begins with toner, pass on the drying alcohol–based formulas and opt for water-based products. Try:THAYERS - Witch Hazel Blemish Clearing Toner A fan-favorite and easily one of the most well-known witch hazel-containing products, this toner is recommended by Zeichner and also contains rose petal water and aloe to help hydrate and calm the skin. "It's important to eliminate oil, scale, salt, and possibly makeup after a workout to prevent these materials from congealing in pores," explains Craig Kraffert, MD, president of Amarte Skin Care. Noted that cleansing with a gentle cleanser (or a mild exfoliant) is best. Although some people may see a dermatologist for their blackheads, and there are also in-office treatments that can help, it’s really worth trying some skincare products with ingredients that can help us get rid of blackheads！ Reference: https://www.advanceddermatologypc.com/doctors/allison-britt-kimmins/ https://www.gerstnermd.com/ https://www.medfordderm.com/about/meet-the-office
Zendaya's skincare routine✨What makes her skin glow for 2020 Emmy Awards🤔
The 24-year-old actor and singer Zendaya has shared her secret skincare weapons to let her glow at Hollywood’s biggest events 2020 Emmy Awards. Today we are going to explore her skincare routine and her recommended products. Zendaya’s 3-step simple evening skincare routine: Step 1. Cleansing: SheaMoisture - African Black Soap Bar Soap($6) Wipe off all makeup and dirt with Shea Moisture African Black Soap Facial Cleansing Wipes. It is super important to wash your makeup off and keep your skin clear before going to bed. Step 2. Toner: THAYERS - Witch Hazel Blemish Clearing Toner ($7) Apply rose water witch hazel as a toner on the face with cotton pads. The toner is really refreshing and has a nice, soft scent. Step 3. Facial Oil: THE BODY SHOP - Body Shop Vitamin E Night Serum($27) Apply Vitamin E Oil so that her skin would look fresh by the morning. Review: All her products are relatively affordable, and it’s a great choice to simplify skincare routines to avoid extra pressure on the skin. The editor Jessica Vacco-Bolanos from the elite daily has tried Zendaya’s skincare routine. She points out that after one week of trying Zendaya’s night routine, her skin felt refreshed, recharged, and looked a lot less tried. She also tried to continue on this routine in the morning, and she felt her skin got so hydrated that the foundation could easily be blended, and power didn’t clump up afterward. Should You Try Witch Hazel?
THAYERS - Cucumber Facial Toner Dermatologists hate it. Clean beauty stans love it. The divide is real when it comes to Witch Hazel, so I decided to give my thoughts on one of the most controversial toners in the skincare world. Witch Hazel has been around forever and is used as a natural toner to help with skin conditions, including acne and reducing sebum. The reason it's said to avoid this product by professionals is because it supposedly strips the skin and compromises the barrier. Now, I have to say as someone with sensitive, reactive and acne prone skin, this was not the case for me at all. As a matter of fact I found the toner to be refreshing without any burn or tingle on my face. It controlled the oil production on my face just enough without leaving it dry or damaged. I have tried both the original formula and the one infused with cucumber (prefer the cucumber one for sure) and found that both really worked at keeping my oil at bay. However, I would only recommend this for oily skin because I can certainly see this being way too harsh on a dry or mature skin. I would also recommend pouring it onto a cotton ball instead of directly in the hands. For some reason I found that it turned into a bit of a soapy texture and that's pretty much the only thing I didn't like. Otherwise, it's a pretty solid toner for both morning and evening. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
Can anyone else relate to this? Me to myself: “I’ve been hearing good things about thayersnatural Witch Hazel Rose Toner”. Next day- goes to target and buys literally ALL of the Thayers rose products on the shelf 😂 🌹 . Here are my impressions of each one of these! . ⭐️ Rose Petal Alcohol-Free Toner. I really love this toner! 🌹 It is non-drying and very soothing on my skin. My face feels clean and soft after using it. I would definitely re-purchase this. . ⭐️Rose Petal Alcohol-Free Toner Facial Mist. I really love using this as a toner, but as a facial mist it’s just ok. There are so many facial mists I want to try right now that I don’t think I’ll repurchase this one. . ⭐️Witch Hazel Blemish Stick. I’ve had a few annoying pimples lately and so I tried this on them and I would say it helped a bit but not as much as I would have hoped. I think I’ll keep using my Kate Somerville Eradikate as this gives me excellent results. .
I have been loving these Thayers Cucumber towelettes. 🥒 They are super soothing and gentle on the skin. I use these daily and they have a permanent home on my side table. I use them to just refresh my skin throughout the day if I feel dry and scratchy OR I even use them as my makeup remover before I wash my face at nighttime. I love their light scent and totally need to try all the other scents too and for only $5... these towelette are a perfect addition to your skincare routine. They last a super long time and each of the towelettes are actually a bigger size than most towelettes!!! There isn’t too much product on the towelettes BUT it’s just enough. I cannot stand the ones that are dripping with product... these towelettes have all the product soaked into the to make sure every towelette has a decent amount of product to wipe the entire face without having to dry your face off afterwards. THAYERS - Toning Towelettes
This is the BEST toner I have tried so far. Don’t dry out my face so crazy which I assumed it would when I was buying it. Great for acne marks and caring and helps dry out pimples. Amazing stuff and has great skin benefits and natura ingredients. It’s also super affordable. I bought the travel size for $4 but when I noticed I needed a bigger bottle it was only $10. Good for the price indeed!

I've had a few of these sizes of this retinol night oil, I've enjoyed it, it doesn't seem to irritate my skin at all, I like the results from the next morning, but I'm not sure if I would buy a full size of it, since there's so many new retinols on the market. 😁 rosy lana regenerating moisturizer, this I've been mixing with the marula oil, but even on it's own, it's a very Hydrating moisturizer, I really love how it makes my skin feel, plus the scent is lovely. ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ artisan luxe Dynamic uplifting eye concentrate, this I'm still testing out, but it has been a really great eye cream for using at night I've found, It's really Hydrating and feels great on the skin.
FARMACY-Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm
Hi this is my first post... I start my day with Cerave hydrating facial cleanser..I love the way it hydrates leaving smooth skin and then I use Thayers facial toner not a big fan and then I use my Aveeno absolutely ageless daily moisturizer with spf 30 ..love the way it spreads evenly although it is greasy I love as it’s not tacky and then I use my Neutrogena Hydro boost gel sunscreen spf 50 on my neck ...I don’t like it on my face as my face looks greasy but I love the fact that it doesn’t leave any white cast ... This is what I follow when I am working from home..
Aveeno-Absolutely Ageless Daily Moisturizer SPF 30
Giving it a go!
I bought a full size of Thayers toner a year or so ago and didn’t love it, but I kept seeing it hyped up all over my feed so I bought a travel size today to give it another chance. I needed something mild because I used my Dermaroller last night and both of my toners from my typical routine have AHA’s which I avoid after dermarolling because I don’t want them penetrating that deeply in my skin. I’ll let you know in a few days what I think! If anything I can just cycle it in every month after I Dermaroll. If you’re interested in me posting about my dermarolling let me know! #ZGTS - 1.0 mm Titanium Microneedle Derma Roller with travel case
