Why does my skin react different night vs day?
Over the years I have gone through hundreds of products figuring out what works for me. I have finally found a good set of products that I love, but sometimes when I use certain products in the daytime (such as Bio-Oil - Multiuse Skincare Oil and certain facemasks, I breakout so much worse than I do when I use the same exact product at night! I am confused by this so I have been wondering if it’s related to my oil levels throughout the day or what? Should I be using more drying products in the day time and hydrating at night?
The only ones that really work for me day and night are The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% and THE BODY SHOP - Jumbo Tea Tree Oil although I know Hyram has said oils are not for the face

My favorite body products & scents of 2020!
I’m a huge fan of vanilla-Esque, musky scents, and on the flip side I love very clean scents. That being said here are my favorite body products & Scents!
LUSH - American Cream Shower Gel which I pair with the matching perfume LUSH - American Cream Perfume . This stuff is straight up the most delicious scent. 🤤 It’s fresh, yet at the same time has a bit of sweeter scent that reminds me of vanilla, despite it being strawberry and orange. I always smell so good with these products and the perfume lasts pretty much all day!
I’m also enjoying #Lush - Honey I Washed the Kids Shower Gel[products]#[FiveStars] , the scent is so yummy and sweet, and in the shower it takes on a warmer, more toffee-honey scent. I love to pair it with Maison Margiela - ’REPLICA’ By The Fireplace , which Is ALL the musk and vanilla I could possibly need. This stuff transports me to a big bonfire roasting marshmallows. It’s so hard to describe, but it smells amazing. It’s very strong, so If you’re sensitive to scents just keep that in mind.
#Shiseido - Hadasui Skin & Body Lotion[products]#[FiveStars] this has almost no scent and has a watery consistency. I like to apply it all over my body and then follow up with Bio-Oil - Multiuse Skincare Oil on my dry spots (elbows, knees, etc.) I personally love the smell of bio oil and I also love how light the Hadasui is, it hydrates without making the skin on my body feel sticky.
My staple perfume that I’ve been using for years are #Soap & Paper Factory - Vanilla Fleur Roll-On Perfume Oil[products]#[FiveStars] which has the richest vanilla-bourbon scent, I’ve gotten compliments for years whenever I wear this! It just smells so good and lasts all day, the product lasts a long time (about 1 yr I have to buy a new one), and it comes at an affordable price point. 💕
So there they are! My 2020 Body Care Faves. What are some of yours?

Bio Oil Skincare Oil
I’ve always suffered from stretch marks whether from growing too fast or weight gain and it’s always been hard to find a product that works to diminish the appearance. I started usingBio-Oil - Multiuse Skincare Oil a few weeks ago and I have already noticed a change in the appearance of my darker stretch marks and I can’t wait to see what a few more weeks will do. If you suffer from stretch mark issues I would highly recommend to try this product.

Update 2
After about two weeks of using Bio-Oil - Multiuse Skincare Oil I have come to the conclusion that it is not the right product for me. I have noticed little to no fading of my acne scars. I have been applying the product every night and about every other morning and I still haven’t seen much of a difference. I will continue to use this product since I bought a fairly large bottle but I will also be continuing my search for a product that will be more effective and fade my acne scars.
Bio-Oil-Multiuse Skincare Oil
Must have for dry skin!
I need to post this if you’re considering buying it because it works so well for so many skin types and you can easily find it at stores like Walgreens! Helps with older skin or pregnancies and all around just dry skin.
4.2 oz is $17.99 at Target
Pricing is higher but your skin will thank you! It’s the only thing that has helped my mom with dry skin, she’s obsessed! And I really enjoyed it while pregnant.

HELP!!
My current skincare routine consists of CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser, then up&up - Deep Cleaning Pore Treatment at night, then Bio-Oil - Multiuse Skincare Oil, and finishing it off at CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin. I want to add The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%into my routine but I'm not sure where it fits in or how to apply the product. I am new to serums like that. Any recommendations? All and any input is wanted!! Thank you.
