Hi friends👋🏼 I’ve been using this wreck of a year to FINALLY start taking care of my skin! I did a TON of research over the summer and finally started a multi-step routine last month. I’d appreciate some seasoned skincare advice, since I’m still mostly a newbie 🥺 ☀️ Cleanser: LA ROCHE-POSAY - Effaclar Medicated Gel Cleanser for Acne Prone Skin (works well, no strong medicated scent, and it makes me feel clean right away!) Toner: DICKINSON'S - Original Witch Hazel Pore Perfecting Toner (not great, not bad, just an average toner) Serums: COSRX - BHA Blackhead Power Liquid (can already see a difference on my nose/chin after just a week!) DERMA•E - Vitamin C Concentrated Serum (LOVE this serum! I can already see a slight brightening of my skin after 1 week. I also love the smell🥰) The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% (Only gave 3 stars because I can’t tell if the recent decrease in acne is due to starting this or my period ending?) Eye Cream: VERSED - VACATION EYES Brightening Eye Gel (pretty sure this isn’t doing anything... I just keep using it because I already have it...) Spot Treatment: Clean&Clear - Advantage Acne Spot Treatment (Similarly to TO, can’t tell yet if this is working or if my acne was more hormonal¿) Moisturizer: LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer CeraVe - CeraVe Moisturising Cream Sunscreen: Aveeno - Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 🌚 Make-Up Remover: CeraVe - Makeup Removing Cleanser Cloths (I use these on my lazy evenings) 1st Cleanse: VERSED - DAY DISSOLVE Cleansing Balm (LOOOVE. Helps get everything loose for my 2nd cleanse) 2nd Cleanse: LA ROCHE-POSAY - Effaclar Medicated Gel Cleanser for Acne Prone Skin *Same Serums/Eye Creams/Spot Treatment as AM* Retinol: CeraVe - Resurfacing Retinol Serum (using every night and I don’t think it’s too harsh, but it’s also not doing much?) Moisturizer: CeraVe - Skin Renewing Night Cream (very rich & creamy!) Vaseline - Cocoa Butter Healing Jelly, Rich Moisturizing (on lips and extra dry areas for locked in moisture through the night) What’s the verdict? Are there products I should add/remove/change the order of? I REALLY want a better eye cream and have heard good things about THE inkey LIST - Brighten-i Eye Cream??I’m also thinking about replacing my current toner with THE inkey LIST - Glycolic Acid Liquid Toner 100ml. THANKS 🖤

Girl, you’re beautiful 🤍
So believe it or not, when I first saw these pictures (after I put my glasses back on to verify lol) I thought “oh, it’s not that bad!” 😅 I have struggled with acne and acne scars ever since I started puberty in the 7th grade. Some people struggle with their weight, features, skin tone, etc. mine has always been my skin. It has stopped me from talking to people, going out, and wearing the type of clothes that I actually want to wear. I have tried so many products and not seen results, gotten so many questions from people wondering how I got a black eye or informing me that “there’s something on your face.” It’s been a really long and honestly still ongoing struggle to believe that I and my skin is beautiful. But, I’m working on it, staying consistent, and as you can see it’s getting better! 💪🏾 I wanted to post this to remind anyone who is frustrated, sad, insecure, or even angry towards their skin that YOU. ARE. BEAUTIFUL! How smooth and glowy your skin is does not determine you’re beauty. Of course we all love that, and there’s nothing wrong with wanting clear skin, but please don’t put your happiness on pause while get there. You’re beautiful no matter. If you have a goal of evening your complexion and controlling your acne, research the best products/treatment for YOUR specific skin type and stay consistent. It’ll get better. In the meantime I’m wishing you all my love and joy! ✨ Xo Staesha 💜

Exfoliate That Hyperpigmentation Away!
Hyperpigmentation is my worst skin enemy! Although I love my melanin rich skin, my ability to get dark marks so easily I do not love. After doing some solid YouTube research, I learned how important exfoliating is when working on getting rid of your hyperpigmentation. Most of what we see when looking at our dark marks is dead skin, so once you get rid of the dead skin, it becomes a lot easier to lighten the spots. DERMA•E - Microdermabrasion Scrub was the first ever exfoliating scrub I’ve bought and I will continue to buy it. I’ve been using it since January and it’s played a major role in getting rid of my dark marks. After the first use I was so surprised at how smooth, bright, and polished my skin looked! All of this dead skin came off and my dark marks instantly looked lighter: after a couple more uses they were almost gone. Now I’m working on lightening my actual pigmentation issues, rather then putting serums over dead skin hopping for a change. My only “warning” for this product, is to only use it once or twice a week, and never in the same day or back to back. I got excited once I started seeing results and used it 3 or 4 days in a row. I ended up making more scars because it started exfoliating skin that didn’t need it. Don’t be like me lol! I would use it once a week if your skin is sensitive, and twice a week if it’s a little stronger. I would also recommend a good follow up serum and moisturizer, it didn’t leave my skin dry, however if you already have dry skin you’ll definitely want to lock in some moisture afterwards. Pricing! I’m now beginning to see that sometimes you’ll need to spend a little extra cash for a better product that works and is made well. Although this scrub isn’t super expensive, it’s the most expensive product I bought back then. It’s priced at $30 but feels professional and you can tell it’s a solid product that will do exactly what it says. 10/10 highly recommend. 🖐🏾🤚🏾

Vitamin C Exfoliating Mask 🍊
I love Vitamin C. I use it everyday in my morning routine. Vitamin C Benefits: Promotes Collagen Diminishes Fine Lines Helps Hyperpigmentation Prevents Photoaging Antioxidants THIS PRODUCT: DERMA•E - Vitamin C Instant Radiance Citrus Facial Peel This product is amazing! Contains AHA: glycolic acid & Lactic Acid 100% Vegan Gluten Free Citrus Fruit Peel Purée (vitamin C) Lemon Extract This product is marketed for discoloration, dark spots, and uneven tone. I got it from Ulta for $15! (Retails at $23) My experience: I saw results after one use This product has helped my hyperpigmentation tremendously. I used this for about 4 weeks and once a day each week (not the same day as other chemical exfoliating). I used this during the day: -Cleansed -Used This Mask -Applied The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin Serum (the hyalurnoic acid put the moisture into my skin) -Use my Peach & Lily Serum -Moisturizer with sunscreen I have posted results about my hyperpigmentation and this helped tremendously! My skin was slightly dry (mostly my cheek areas as I have combo skin), but my hyperpigmentation has been helped a lot by this product!

The best facial peel! My skin looks radiant!
This brand is vegan and eco-ethical. The Vitamin C Instant Radiance Citus Facial Peel is the best thing I’ve used!!! Seriously. It’s so good. My skin instantly feels hydrated and brighter. I like to use it once a week. It is not abrasive at all. So this is a good option for those with sensitive skin!

The Do's and Don'ts of Derma E
Do: DERMA•E - Sensitive Skin Moisturizing Cream Even if you have oily/combination skin, don't be afraid to try this product. I absolutely loved it! The texture is incredibly lightweight for a cream and melts right into the skin while also leaving a matte finish. Great for layering. DERMA•E - Advanced Peptide & Collagen Serum I wear this serum under my cream and once again, melts right in very quickly and doesn't leave a sticky feeling on my face. I also noticed a plumper feel to my skin when I was about halfway through the bottle. DERMA•E - Derma E Hydrating Day Cream This night cream is very gentle on the skin and is a nice but fairly basic cream. I prefer my night creams to feel rich and silky but I found this to not be as creamy as I like. Definitely not enough hydration for a dry skin but would probably do well on oily skin. DERMA•E - Vitamin E Skin Oil Most Vitamin E oils are full of fillers but this one is just safflower oil and vitamin e. Since I found the Hydrating Night Cream to be too light, I decided to pair it with this oil and lather it all over my face and neck. It pairs together like a dream for me, but might be too heavy for oily/acne prone skin. Don't: DERMA•E - Firming DMAE Eye Lift Cream This product made zero difference. No firm. No lift. No different than a basic hydrating eye cream. DERMA•E - Vitamin C Concentrated Serum Horrible! If you have sensitive/reactive skin, stay away from this product. This had my face burning and made me breakout like crazy. It took forever to heal my skin barrier after using this. Keep your receipt if you buy it, just in case the same thing happens to you.

I 👏🏻 Effing 👏🏻 Love 👏🏻 Peels!
I am seriously obsessed. I had to try all the peels from all my favorite brands. These are the award winners. First, I always start with the Follain - Dual Detox Mask: Purify + Resurface . It’s the perfect prep. Not only does it purify with three different types of clay, but it also starts the resurfacing process with a triple hydroxy acid blend of AHAs, BHA, and PHA. It’s very gentle, but I like to think of it as a primer for any peel... it just makes it work even better. The hands down winner is, of course, The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution . This one was the last that I tried, and by far the best. Be careful, though. It’s powerful. It burns. I suggest not listening to what anyone says in terms of directions for use. Ease into it and find what works for you. Start with 5 mins (if you can stand the burn for that long) once a week. I use mine twice per week (Mondays and Fridays) for 10 mins each time. It’s phenomenal! It leaves your skin feeling all kinds of brand new! Lightens my freckles, minimizes my pores, and fades my fine lines. This is, for sure, my main lady, but the ones below are the ones I call my Wednesday side chicks. They aren’t as powerful as The Ordinary but they are worth their weight in gold, in my opinion. The next award goes to bliss - That's Incredi-Peel Pads . I will be the first to admit that *most* Bliss products have let me down, if I’m honest. The packaging is so cute and I always want to love them, but they never really do enough of what they say they do. EXCEPT this one. I love it! With 10% glycolic acid, it’s the strongest of my side chicks. But it’s so easy! You just cleanse and then wipe with the pad. I follow up with my eye cream and night cream. Then, I wake up to beautifully smooth, soft skin. It’s nice to take a break from my serums sometimes. Next is ACURE - Resurfacing Overnight Glycolic Treatment . This is a fantastic starter peel. It doesn’t even require moisturizer after application (but I still do... because 40). It’s so easy and the results are pretty dramatic for such a gentle peel. Skin is brighter, clearer and remarkably smoother. It’s wonderful. And my final award goes to DERMA•E - Overnight Peel . I am a faithful follower of all things Derma E! When I found this one, I thought it would be a holy grail. While I wouldn’t call it a disappointment, it’s definitely the most gentle of my side chicks. The results are not quite as dramatic, but still effective and especially nice when my skin feels stressed or overworked. The majority of my other products are Derma E (cleanser, vitamin C serum, eye cream, night cream and SPF) so I learned that these products all work really nicely together. However, if you don’t use other Derma E products, this one might disappoint. So now move forward, my friends, and peel with confidence!

First Impression ! Derma E Overnight Peel
Honestly overnight peels scared me. I was concerned I would wake up and my skin would be all types of irritated but Derma E is a trusted skincare line so I gave it a try and I was highly impressed. DERMA•E - Overnight Peel 🌺Product Details 🌺 🌸 2 fl oz for $18.99 🌸This overnight peel is an AHA Alpha Hydroxy Acids 🌸100%Vegan, Cruelty Free,Non GMO, Gluten or Soy 🌸Exfoliates overnight to visibly smooth skin. 🌻How To Use : Apply to clean skin at night , leave on overnight , rinse in the morning use 1 -2 times a week. My Experience🧏🏼‍♀️ I applied this the other night and was shocked that it applied like a moisturizer. For some reason I thought it was going to be a different consistency 🤷🏼‍♀️ it felt great going on and dried down like a moisturizer (it was moisture to touch not sticky ) My skin wasn’t irritated or red. This is a very gentle overnight peel and I love it. When I rinsed my face in the morning my skin was smooth and radiant. I definitely suggest this product if you are sensitive to acids I would use this product with caution #cheriecreator

Hey I’m new here
Hey guys , so my name is krezzia. I really don’t know where to start but this is my journey I want to share with you guys. So 2018 it was the worst year of my life, my skin was acting crazy, and I got to the point where I experience anxiety and depression. It was so difficult I tried everything product likes neutrogena, proactive, aveeno, clearasil anything I can get my hands on or people will tell me it worked for there skin. Which obviously didn’t work for me, trust me I was one of them will buy a product and expect to work the next day lol or thought it’s working for a week and then try another product. Which I shouldn’t have done because it made me have an allergy reaction to it which was pretty scary. Later on my friend Hannah which is a skin aesthetician introduced me to a product called Image skincare, it was a well known product, so I tried it for at least 3 months everything was working except my acne scar. Then she recommended me a chemical peel to try and she said I might not even peel. But yes I did !! I peeled so bad lol but I was so excited to see my new skin. My skin was getting better after that peel but I had few dark spots still needs working. Some people skin usually will peel and get a total new skin. She only did half because she only did both of my cheeks. She only treat the area that needed which was my cheek and later do a laser peel. So I did 2 chemical peel and probably 2 or 3 laser. After that I’ve seen the result, plus I was taking docycline which help a lot. A few year has past after my beautiful transformation , my acne started coming back last year like 2 months before my wedding omg. Here we go again, but it wasn’t as bad like it was. So I tried different products again... Yup I know what you guys about to say.... Stop! Well my acne came back but this time my acne or pimple became hard like a cyst and whenever I have acne it turned red or purple which scarred my face more. Which is so weird because that never happen to me. Anyway I’m 15 weeks pregnant which I got pregnant during this horrible covid year. But God always has plans for you. Me and my husband are expecting for the baby to be here dec 16 th. Anyway what product would you guys recommend that is safe to use during pregnancy. Any advice will help and I know when your pregnant you can’t use a lot of product. I’ve been using CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skinmorning and night. CeraVe - AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30for morning time. DERMA•E - Scar Geltwice in a week only at night.

BEST TINTED MINERAL SPF (The Unicorn)
I’ve been on the hunt for a mineral spf, sheer to light coverage tinted moisturizer/ cc cream/ bb cream- some kind of skincare-makeup hybrid. And in that order- I want lots of good stuff for my skin, lots of mineral SPF and just enough coverage to even out my skin tone. I repeat- Lots of SPF, mineral only. Oh yeah- it also has to match my light-medium skintone and cool undertone. Basically I’m searching for a Unicorn. I hate when a product is offered in lots of shades. For you maybe there is a better chance of finding one that matches perfectly- for me each shade is a chance to make the wrong choice. Im sure it doesn’t work for darker skin tones but since it works for me I like that universal shade of tint. No choices, just “tinted”. All 3 products below are just “tinted”. Here it goes.... elta md SKINCARE - UV Clear Broad Spectrum SPF 46 EltaMD Tinted UV Clear: My current Go-To. Yes- it is as great as everyone says it is. And yes- It is jam packed with lots of good stuff for your skin. It’s the epitome of “Skincare/ Makeup Hybrid”. In fact it is so hydrating that i have to cut out my moisturizer and primer if I want to use it. If that “dewy” look or the “glass skin” look is what you’re going for than this stuff is for you, my friend. I think this product is probably only going to suit me better and better as winter rolls in. I have to strive for matte to achieve a natural glow so if I want to tone down the shine after I apply the EltaMD I brush on a mineral SPF powder DERMA•E - Sun Protection Mineral Face Powder SPF 30 and top it off with a matte setting spray. NYX - Matte Finish Makeup Setting Spray Supergoop! - 100% Mineral Smooth & Poreless Matte Screen SPF 40 Close to perfect- a little goes a long way. It glides on beautifully, looks beautiful, feels beautiful. A mineral spf is a literal physical barrier between your skin and UV light. This means that they don’t fully absorb into the skin because their job is primarily on top of the skin. That being said- it doesn’t feel like it’s spread over your face like frosting on a cake. Its comfortable and light and it feels like it has absorbed. This one definitely leaves a matte finish. I wouldn’t recommend a powder over top. If you have to- Go with a setting spray. PAULA'S CHOICE - Super-Light Daily Wrinkle Defense SPF 30 Alright Im just gona say it- Paula’s Choice is a terrible name. (PAULA’S CHOICE- IF YOURE LISTENING-Change it immediately bc it’s holding you back) Paula is the name of your least favorite Aunt. She’s a super boring, annoyingly responsible yet reliable old maid.* It just sounds like an old lady company and nobody equates that with Clean, cruelty-free beauty. Just awful synthetic fragrances and “cold cream”. The truth is that this is a great product from a clean, science based brand. Light- med coverage. For sheer-light coverage I mixed w/ clear primer. e.l.f. - Matte Oil-Control Primer *IF YOU’RE NAME IS PAULA & THIS OFFENDED YOU I APOLOGIZE. YOU’RE AWESOME! IT ONLY APPLIES TO SKINCARE COMPANIES NAMED PAULA.

Congested skin - just finished accutane!
Hi all! I’ve had acne my WHOLE life. I’ve always had super oily skin. It used to be much worse, but now it’s not as intense. I’ve had my fair share of hormonal breakouts, blackheads, and cystic acne. You name it, I’ve had it. I just finished accutane, which didn’t do much. That being said, my main issue is CONGESTION. I cannot achieve smooth skin for the life of me. Microdermabrasion didn’t do anything for my skin. I’ve just started using HOLI FROG - Shasta AHA Refining Acid Washas my face wash. Additionally, I’ve been using The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% and The Ordinary - 100% Plant-Derived Squalane I recently decided to try The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solutionand DERMA•E - Vitamin C Renewing Moisturizer I’ve used retinol topicals. I even went for microneedling. What am I missing? Oh, and I just bought The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Who can help me clear this congestion?

Affordable Morning Routine!
Ulta employee here showing my affordable morning routine! Everything is under $40 and fragrance free 😊 A little bit about my skin: - I have pretty normal skin with a slightly oily t-zone - I live in Florida, so I sweat A LOT due to the humidity - My skin can be acne prone - I get "fungal acne" very easily from heavier moisturizing ingredients (and many niacinamide serums for some reason) Now for the routine! I cleanse with CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin and oh my god this has made the biggest difference with the "fungal acne" (I use quotes because its not really acne). I used to have congested pores all over my face and no matter what I did, they wouldn't go away! I was looking for drugstore cleansers and happened to find this, and I haven't had any issues since. Highly recommend! After gently patting my face dry, I'll use the Mad Hippie - Vitamin C Serum . I hate that this is relatively expensive for a drugstore vitamin c serum, but no other serum has worked as well as this one for me. I've tried similar vitamin c treatments from the ordinary and other brands, and nothing makes my skin feel as soft, bright, and hydrated as mad hippie. Recently, I'll also take any excess and put it near my under-eye area to help with dark circles, and its making a big difference! I've already repurchased this product, so I highly recommend. I struggle with fine lines around my eyes, so I love using DERMA•E - Firming DMAE Eye Lift Cream AM and PM. I'm on my 3rd bottle of this and I've noticed a big reduction in fine lines, dark circles, and creasing when I wear concealer. This is one of the best eye creams out there in my opinion. I moisturize with CLINIQUE - Clinique iD : Moisturizer + Concentrate for Fatigue . I use the jelly base with the fatigue cartridge for lightweight hydration, additional antioxidants, and glowing skin throughout the day. My skin always feels soft, supple, and bright... so much so that I have 2 extra cartridges sitting in my bathroom so that I never run out 😂 SUNSCREEN, SUNSCREEN, SUNSCREEN! I love LA ROCHE-POSAY - Anthelios 60 Clear Skin Dry Touch Sunscreen SPF 60 even though its a chemical sunscreen. I tried to switch to mineral sunscreen recently, and every single one that I tried always made me look like a ghost, felt like I was rubbing chalk on my skin, or broke me out. This sunscreen is oil-free, contains antioxidants for extra protection, and is dry to the touch so it won't feel greasy at all. I'm on my 3rd (?) bottle of this and I don't see myself switching any time soon. DON'T FORGET LIP SPF! I really like Aquaphor - Lip Repair + Protect Broad Spectrum SPF 30 because its very moisturizing and really hydrates the lips. We see people coming in all the time for lip scrubs, but you don't need one if you properly moisturize and protect your lips!

Husband Facial
I love him! He let me give him a facial tonight because he hates his pores and budding wrinkles. He has always told me that my skincare is silly and that I’m buying into packaging, blah blah blah. He started with DERMA•E - Anti-Wrinkle Cleanser , then moved onto a full 10 minutes of The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution . After that, I dotted my DERMA•E - Firming DMAE Eye Lift Cream along his eyeline and instructed him to moisturize his face properly with DERMA•E - Anti-Wrinkle Renewal Cream . From me to ya’ll, though... he keeps touching his face and saying “wow... I never knew my skin could feel this good.” when he thinks I can’t hear him. Haha! Also, he looks extra good for date night tonight. 😉

The Vitamin C Gentle Daily Cle
The Vitamin C Gentle Daily Cleansing Paste from DermaE has got to be one of my most favorite multi functional cleansers/mask! I love that it contains rice powder which gives me a gentle exfoliation but majorly love that it contains Turmeric which is used in many forms for calming. I have sensitive skin so this is great for calming down any flare ups. What I love most is that this is not only a cleanser but can also be used as a mask! I usually keep it in the shower because it’s great to apply as a mask while you’re conditioning your hair. It’s a quick one, you only leave on for a few minutes. Regardless of if I use it as a cleanser or a mask, I am always left with extremely soft skin! Will definitely be purchasing this when I run out!

I am so excited to try some of the dermae acne products. I am such a huge fan of dermae and am sure they will perform! I tend to get breakouts due to hormones and stress. I know that we all struggle with something skincare related and this is one of my problems. I hate when that time of the month rolls around. I have high hopes for this!

💦An affordable, clean cleanser
This cleanser by Derma E is gentle yet effective. I’m almost all out of it, and the bottle lasted two months of AM/PM cleansing which is pretty impressive. It’s formulated for sensitive skin and I never felt irritation. It did burn my eyes though so I would use makeup wipes or micellar water for eye makeup. 💸Derma E is cruelty-free, free of parabens, sodium lauryl sulfates, petrolatum, mineral oil, artificial colors, gluten, soy and GMOs. And this cleanser is only about $15! I like that it can be found at retailers like Whole Foods and SproutsDERMA•E - DERMA•E Hydrating Cleanser

I love products with instant results and this Derma E Instant radiance mask truly lives up to its name! This vitamin c mask smells citrusy and lovely and doesn’t make my face sting like similar products in this category do. My skin always look brighter and feels smoother right after application! This tub has a lot of product and should last a long time! It’s one of my favorite leave on vitamin c products and I definitely recommend it to anyone looking to add to their weekly masking routine! It’s gentle but effective!
