Ok. I combined one of my favorite products cantu - Shea Butter for Natural Hair Moisturizing Curl Activator Cream combined with a newer product I've picked up MANE CLUB - Honey, That's How I Roll Curl Defining Cream . What I usually do is get some kind of curl sculpture or activator and combine it with products specifically for definition. I squeeze out the cantu in my hand first and then I squeeze half of the amount of the defining cream. i also THE Mane CHOICE - Tropical Moringa Sweet Oil & Honey Endless Moisture Restorative Spray if my hair starts to dry too much. I have always used a wide tooth comb to comb out my hair. Also, it took me a long time to buy a DENMAN - D14 MINI STYLER 5 ROW and I've been using it for 2 years now. Anyhow, these pictures are the finished product of using those 3 products. Air dried as I don't like to diffuse since I'm way too easy. my hair dries within an hour anyway.

2nd attempt at Curly Girl
this is my second attempt at doing g CHM but j am doing my way. Last time I hated how gross my hair felt with all the products in it etc. and I had almost no results and my hair is naturally curly. So yesterday I washed with RepRenpure - Rosemary Mint Cleansing Conditioner which I like bc of the mint it feels nice on my scalp, like the tingle, but I feel like I need to use a ton to feel clean. then followed up with TRESemmé - Botanique Curl Hydration Shampoo which so far (1st time using) I liked definitely was helpful with detangling. and then after did HASK - Argan Oil Repairing Shine Oil Liked the smell and my hair didn't look greasy and the cantu - Shea Butter for Natural Hair Moisturizing Curl Activator Cream which I like, no cast or crunch, but I didn't want that, I'm sure you could get one. let my hair air dry up and I am liking the results I know some of these products may not be CG friendly, but I hated spending hours in the store and lots of money trying to find something CG friendly that worked for me. so I am hoping that i can stick with it and have better curls.

Influencer Curly Hair Secrets You NEED to Know
I want to share a few “secrets” as a curly hair influencer on Instagram. Without further ado, here we go: 1. Our hair isn’t always picture-ready! A lot of the curly influencers on IG (myself included) wear our curls up in a messy bun or under a hat just as much as you, I promise! Sure there are stretches of days and weeks where my curls look really nice, but most of the time I’m doing whatever I can to get my hair out of my face (so I can work/clean/workout etc). Don’t let the “perfect” IG feeds make you feel like you have to compete - we aren’t together all the time either. 2. Lighting makes a HUGE difference in how your curls look in photos. With a ring light my curls look commercial/ad-ready. Not sure what it is specifically about that particular light but it makes a HUGE difference. Going from room to room (taking the same picture from the same angle) will make your curls look dramatically different depending on the lighting. Ring light vs. natural light - in front of a window, for example - and dim lighting can make my curls look incredible vs. just okay. I’m talking from looking near frizz-free and shiny to dull and flat. Try it for yourself! 3. We really are passionate about teaching other women to embrace their curls. I’ve been on zoom meetings with some of the other curl ladies and we do genuinely LOVE our curly hair and sharing everything we can with you. We can literally talk about it for hoooours. Oddly enough many of the us have healthcare or education backgrounds, we truly are here to help! That being said, keep in mind that most of the time being a “curl enthusiast/influencer” isn’t our full-time job. Please be patient when you’re waiting for a response from us - we do everything we can to answer as many questions as possible. 4. I wish I could tell you about a miracle product (but most often the secret is simply TIME). If you’ve started your curl journey, you likely already know it takes a lot of trial and error to figure out the best combination of products, the best application methods, the right way to refresh your curls, etc. Unfortunately, the truth is this - if you somehow managed to discover all of those things in week 1 of wearing your hair curly, you’d still have to wait months or years for true change. It’s likely you’ve been straightening your hair to death for the last several years and it’s going to take time for your hair to grow out and be healthy. Just stick with it, realize it’s a marathon and not a sprint, and get ready to be amazed at your transformation. 5. Enjoy the ride! I have a hard time putting into words exactly how embracing my curls has changed me. Loving my curls has given me a confidence boost greater than anything I’ve ever experienced. There were times of frustration, times of helplessness, and times I was ready to give up. The journey is what makes this so special. Take lots of of pictures to document your progress! Hair growth!
I’m so so happy that my hair grew so much for the past months! And they are pretty healthy too ! * The first pic is January 1 of 2020 right after I relaxed my hair in the summer of 2019! * In the pictures, my hair are semi wet after I washed them! Here are the products that really helped ! SheaMoisture - Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Shine Shampoo SheaMoisture - Power Greens Conditioner with Moringa & Avocado cantu - Argan Oil Leave-In Conditioning Repair cantu - Shea Butter Grow Strong Strengthening Treatment TROPIC ISLE LIVING - Argan Jamaican Black Castor Oil SheaMoisture - 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Daily Hydration Leave-In Treatment TRESemmé - Botanique Nourish + Replenish With Coconut Milk & Aloe Vera Shampoo #TRESemmé - TRESemmé Conditioner Nourish & Replenish[products]#[FiveStars] I also used a lot of natural coconut oil, castor oil, shea butter and argan oil. I also made hair mask every two month, I took the TRESemmé Conditioner, I mixed it with coconut oil, castor oil, natural coconut milk, bananas, a bit of honey and a little bit of lemon juice. I put the mixture on my hair and I let it sit for 1 hour and 30 minutes, and I really noticed my hair were softer and shinier! Beside products, having a healthy and a “ stress free” lifestyle really does help, all 2020, I managed to eat good healthy food and do a lot of work out, so I believe these two things helped a lot! As of now, I started taking NATURE'S BOUNTY - Optimal Solutions Hair, Skin and Nails Gummies and ogx - Nourishing Coconut Milk Anti-Breakage Serum and SheaMoisture - Silicone Free Miracle Strobe Shine Spray so I really cannot wait for the results !! Good day to you all!💋✨

How I fully transitioned and grew my 4b/c hair
My hair journey is something that means a lot to me. As a child I was always known to have hair so long it reached the middle of my back. Whether my hair was curly, straight, braided or in twists it generated a lot of talk. That’s why when I went natural and lost basically all the length that I somewhat had it was such a shocker. I was natural as a child before I began to get a relaxer at around 3rd grade. It was needed since my mom had just gotten over breast cancer for a second time and my long thick curls were too much for her to take care of. My hair still retained its length, even as I went into middle school but once I hit 9th grade I’d realized something. My length was gone. Now I will say SOOOO many hair mistakes were made when I began doing my own hair in high school. I put too much heat to it, I manipulated it too much, and I didn’t care about my strands enough. I honestly don’t know at what point I realized I wanted to go natural but at the end of my sophomore year I did. My mother who is a very traditional black woman when it comes to hair made it crystal clear there was no way in hell I was getting the big chop I wanted. Because of this I was forced to transition over. I vividly remember the first product I used as a natural being SheaMoisture - Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie this served a good purpose since my number one goal at the time was curl definition. I don’t mind that as much anymore because I have come to terms with the fact that my hair type is NOT loose curls. Since quarantine that goal has changed. My goal I’m March went from “how do I get my hair to curl” to “okay how do I retain length and keep my hair healthy” and I knew my answer. Braids. I’ll be the one to say I absolutely LOVE braids but I HATE getting them professionally done for so many reasons. The main one being when my scalp gets too dirty the braids gotta go. That is a problem when braids cost 100 and I’m over them in a month 🗿. This pushed me to doing my own braids minus the braiding hair. Every two-three weeks I take my braids out, condition my dry dirty hair, wash the conditioner out, wash my hair, deep condition, and prep my hair for braids. Sometimes I blow dry my hair before I braid it (because I want the length😗) and sometimes I just braid my coily hair as is. This has helped keep my hair healthy and grow it all quarantine. These are the products I’ve used: AFRiCAN PRIDE - Olive Miracle Anti-Breakage Leave-in Conditioner AFRiCAN PRIDE - Olive Miracle Anti-Breakage Growth Oil DOO GRO - Mega Thick Hair Oil ECOCO - Eco Style Argan Oil Gel ECOCO - Eco Style Professional Styling Gel Black Castor & Flaxseed Oil cantu - Argan Oil Leave-In Conditioning Repair aussie - Miracle Moist 3 Minute Miracle with Avocado for Dry Hair Repair Maui MOISTURE - Heal & Hydrate + Shea Butter Hair Mask Aunt Jackie's - Don't Shrink Elongating Curling Gel

CG Method-Friendly Curl Defining Gels for Summer
Summer is around the corner in the Southern Hemisphere. In Australia, the weather is already warming up and the sun is getting shinier by the day ☀️ With a humid climate on the way, you’ll want to protect your wavy, curly and coils hair with moisture. You’ll also need a curl defining gel that can withstand the conditions. Here are some examples of affordable curl defining gels that are Curly Girl Method friendly for your upcoming summer adventures:   What is Curl Defining Gel? This type of product is designed to tame and define curls by trapping moisture in the hair and protecting it from frizz. This is all whilst enhancing your natural curly texture. Wavy Hair Textures: AA curl defining gel might be too heavy for waves. Try lighter styling products like creams or mousses. Try kms - Curlup Control Creme or MATRIX - Curl Please Super Defrizzer . Curly Hair Textures: Those of you with more defined and tighter curls can probably handle a curl defining gel. A gel like aussie - Instant Freeze Hair with Jojoba Oil & Sea Kelp Gel is great for humidity. You can also try BIOSILK - Rock Hard Gelee for another affordable option. Coily Hair Textures: Our coily CGM friends always rave about the cantu - Shea Butter for Natural Hair Coconut Curling Cream and ECOCO - Eco Style Olive Oil Gel for an affordable and long-lasting hold. Why are These Products Curly Girl Method Friendly? The curly girl method approves brands and products that don’t include harmful, drying and dirtying ingredients. These include sulphates, silicones, mineral oils, parabens, alcohols etc. You can use a site like www.isitcg.com to check your products ingredients! Pro Tips for Using Curl Defining Gel: 🖤 Most hair types will benefit from additional moisture during the warmer months. 🖤 When you get out the shower after washing your hair, wring some water out, take a blob of leave in conditioner, and squeeze it into your hair. 🖤 Scrunch from the ends up to the root. 🖤 Follow this up with a blob of curl defining gel, mousse or cream. Scrunch it into your hair to lock in the moisture and encourage a curly texture. 🖤 Towels can be damaging to curly hair so scrunch with an old t-shirt to dry off the hair some more.

6 HG curl creams💕Give U the Best Twist Out Ever👏🏾
The key to getting healthy curls is to keep your locks as hydrated as possible. That’s why the best curl creams have moisturizing ingredients. To help you narrow down your choices, here are 6 of the best products for curly hair that will make your type 3 or 4 curls look beautiful. Thanks to these favorite curlers to define natural hair, I can transform a frizzy head into a radiant spectacle of curls. Eden BodyWorks It contains natural ingredients, such as coconut oil, shea butter. This product works great on natural black hair! I did Bantu knots using this product and it turned out amazing!! Shea Moisture This is the only Shea Moisture product that I use from time to time. I don't use it too often because it contains silk protein additions and it can upset my hair's moisture. I tend to use curl definition creams in my shampoo routine, which usually includes a deep treatment. My deep hair care already contains hydrolyzed protein and this curl enhancing smoothie can harden my hair sometimes and I think it boils down to the fact that I have too much protein in my hair. Cantu With such an affordable price, Cantu's Coconut Curling Cream gives students a bang for their buck. Formulated without harsh ingredients, this thick defining leaves hair stylable and visibly brighter. In addition, it smells good! Be careful though, although it has a nice blend of added oils, it also contains protein which can be a problem if your hair is sensitive to it. Camille Rose  I use this after applying a leave-in conditioner to give my hair extra hold. On days where my hair needs extra help, I follow up with a bit of hair gel! Afro Sheen I bought this product because I wanted something cheaper than Shea Moisture. It’s very thick and over moisturizes my curls I think it does help to bring them out.  AS I AM Definitely worth the price! It is thick and very moisturizing. It doesn’t have to use a lot to get the full effects of it.

It's the most wonderful time of the year❄🌬🌲🌹⛄
I'm not sure about you, but during this time of the year my skin tends to get dry. I always for years have been sticking to HOLLYWOOD BEAUTY - Tea Tree Oil Skin and Scalp Treatment as a moisturizer! Another one of my favorites if you're not looking for something oily, but rather cooling I recommend Clean&Clear - Share ESSENTIALS Dual Action Moisturizer 🌹💝🙏 I hope this has been helpful for you🌹 please let me know your thoughts and ideas as well😌 Happy holidays to those who celebrate, and blessings to all🙏🌬⛄❄🌲

I grew my hair long and strong
I was always a heat styling person, I never embraced my natural curly hair and I always used to flat iron them my whole life. Until back in November I stopped using heat styling tools, especially flat iron and my hair is this long now!! My hair always grow fast, and genetically I know my hair can grow knee length. My mom had very long, luscious hair in her teenage and I got that inherited in me. Blessed! 😊 But seriously, what can help hair grow longer and healthier?? I believe the following tips and products can help: 1. Eliminate heat styling as much as you can. This is the first step in finally focusing and be able to invest your time and money in reversing the damage. 2. If you have curly/wavy textured, coarsed hair... start embracing it. It's okay to not have flat managed hair all the time. You can always use some nourishing oil like Moroccan oil to tame the frizz. 3. Incorporate Fatty acids,Omega and Vitamin E in your food. Fish is a great option but if you're vegan/vegetarian, Greens, whole grains and fruits are great option. 4. Maintain your hormonal levels with diet and light exercise. I'm not pointing out towards not eating junk (which I adore myself) and not exercising daily. Just a little for you to feel good is enough😊✨ 5. Use nourishing hair oils and masks to pamper your hair weekly. 6. Last but not the least, use gentle products that will help you with your desired hair texture and finish. I'm listing down the products I've neen enjoying and they're really helping me maintain my waves and curls so that I don't feel the need to heat style my hair often 👍 Also these products are my Holy grails now, they're very affordable and work amazing for curly and wavy hair types💖✨ @cantubeauty Shea butter Shampoo and Conditioner cantu - Shea Butter for Natural Hair Sulfate-Free Hydrating Cream Conditioner cantu - Shea Butter for Natural Hair Sulfate-Free Cleansing Cream Shampoo @cantubeauty Define and shine custard cantu - Shea Butter for Natural Hair Define & Shine Custard @pacificabeauty Pineapple Curls shampoo PACIfICA - Pineapple Curls Curl Defining Shampoo @igkhair Mistress hydrating hair balm IGK - Mistress Hydrating Hair Balm @thedrybar Prep rally detangler drybar - Prep Rally Prime & Prep Detangler @aveda Damage remedy daily hair repair AVEDA - Damage Remedy Daily Hair Repair AG hair care Fast food moisture leave on conditioner AG hair - Moisture Fast Food Leave-On Conditioner

My curly hair products
My curly hair products
I have naturally curly hair and it was very hard to find products that fit the needs of my hair. I found these two products. The crème brûle whipped curl cream is a product that I have never seen someone use before, but I love it. It keeps my hair from getting frizzy and gives my hair the moisture it needs. It has organic sweet almond milk shea butter and aloe leaf juice. The cantu shea butter spray is what keeps my hair smooth and holds the shape of my curls perfectly. I like to spray it into my hands, warm it up and comb it through my hair with my fingers. I then scrunch my hair with my hands. This spray contains no sulfates, no silicones, no parabens or mineral oil. If you have naturally curly hair, then theses products are a must.
