BUDGET AMAZON 4C HAIR/DRY SKIN ROUTINE✨
it took me years to find anything that's works for my dry sensitive skin let alone work to help me style and detangle my 4C hair. SKIN ROUTINE: I only trust Noxzema facial cleansers to not break me out and actually CLEAN my skin. I also recommend a soft bristle spin brush to help scrub. (I strongly recommend getting the NOXZEMA - Ultimate Clear Daily Deep Pore Cleanser The one in my photo has tiny beads that are hard to wash off without soaking your shirt) Be sure to pat dry your face. Next I use the ANDALOU NATURALS - CannaCell Hydrating Toner . This product contains "hemp stem cells", not too sure what that does but it sure does help keep moisture in. It has a citrus scent as well. You can spray about 2-3 times in a cotton pad but I usually just spray on the hands and rub it into my skin. The HONEST - Hydrogel Cream is the best thing I've ever used. I used to pay $50-$60 for the Murad - Nutrient-Charged Water Gel and never has it ever held in moisture all DAY. I never had to put lotion on my face again. My face never dried up again!!! 4C HAIR CARE: The TANGLE TEEZER - The Large Wet Detangler Hairbrush and Carol's Daughter - Hair Milk 4-in-1 ''Combing'' Crème I've only seen used on type 3 hair and was almost positive that it would not work for me. Was I extremely wrong. On wet hair the tangle teaser is the best detangler I've EVER USED. I was depressed and my hair was matted from neglect and it made the process of reviving my hair so much more tolerable. The 4 in 1 Hair milk, I used after detangling a section and applied from the ends to the roots, then brushed over them again. I wouldn't say to use this as a styling cream with type 4 hair because my hair instantly puffed back up but it did keep it soft and moisturized all day. For daily moisture I recommend using the AS I AM - DoublebButter Cream

Makeup Routine for Sensitive Skin
I have sensitive normal-dry skin (depending on the time of year) and always look for products that are lightweight, hydrating, soothing, and that cover redness. With sensitive skin, you want to be careful when selecting and applying your makeup; your skin is likely very easily agitated and if you’re like me, you’re often dealing with redness. I struggle with redness on my cheeks, around my nose, and on my chin. For the most part, I try to avoid any products (especially face makeup) that is super heavily fragranced, because I can pretty much guarantee it’ll make my redness worse and/or cause a breakout. Here are some of the products that work for me and my sensitive skin and help to give me an even, glowy, but natural look! 1. COVER FX - Water Cloud Primer - this primer is very hydrating and soothing, it also helps to protect against blue light and pollution. I like to start with a hydrating primer, especially in the cold weather months, because my skin tends to be drier and I want my makeup to look smooth and even. If you find that your makeup clings to dry patches, make sure you are exfoliating 1-2 times weekly and adding moisture back into your skin with your skincare! 2. Quo - Quo Liquid Foundation (shade C3 Vanilla) - this foundation has a satin finish and always gives me a healthy glow (if you are oily you may need to set with powder but should still be able to wear this). I only use maybe 5-6 drops for my whole face because I like to still be able to see my actual skin. 3. HALEYS - Re:Cover Pressed Powder Foundation (shade 2.15 in the winter and 2.25 in the summer) - I am obsessed with this powder foundation; it melts into my skin and is so natural looking. It doesn’t make me look cakey or powdery and is so easy and quick to use. Typically I either wear this alone or I’ll use a bit of it over my liquid foundation in my t-zone to set it. 4. tarte - Shape Tape Concealer (shade Fair) - this is a holy grail in the beauty world for good reason, it has amazing coverage (can be drying). I apply a dot of this near the corner of my eye and another one near the outer corner, if my redness is really bad, I’ll also use a bit of this around my nose and on my chin. 5. ILIA - NightLite Bronzer Powder (shade Novelty) - I use a bronzer year round to warm up my skin & give a glow. This one is super pigmented so be careful! 6. essence - Make Me Brow Eyebrow Gel Mascara (shade 02 Browny Brows) - I loooove this stuff, it’s so quick and easy and holds up really well throughout the day. Also it’s like $3!! 7..HONEST - Extreme Length Mascara + Lash Primer - this stuff is amazing! It has a primer on one end and really does give amazing length. 8.DIOR - Addict Lip Maximizer Plumping Gloss - gives my lips the best glossy look! It’s iconic for a reason😉 #CheriePartner

My Lazy Girl Makeup Routine
This routine is my go-to, everyday, makeup routine that takes less than 10 minutes. As you can see in my before photo, I have some redness and a couple of small breakouts. Typically what I focus on with my quick makeup routine is to even out my skin tone, add a bit of colour, and make my super blonde lashes & brows visible😆 1. First things first, I cleanse my skin with a micellar water and moisturize. If I have more time to get ready, I’ll go in with serums and treatments, but when I’m in a hurry I stick to basic skincare. 2. I always apply spf, and this SKINCEUTICALS - Physical Fusion Uv Defense SPF 50 is my absolute favourite. It’s tinted and gives such a nice healthy glow to the skin (it’s not shimmery or sparkly at all). 3. Next, I apply my FENTY BEAUTY - Match Stix Matte Skinstick (in the shade Linen) under my eyes, around my nose, and on my chin to help cover up some redness. This formula is honestly not my favourite for concealer, it’s quite dry and sometimes hard to blend but I’m just trying to use it up. I also have the highlight and contour shades and I do not like the highlight at all but don’t mind the contour shade (again, they’re both very dry). 4. Then I go over my entire face with my HALEYS - Re:Cover Pressed Powder Foundation (in shade 2.15) I just love this stuff. I’m a big fan of powder foundations in general because I find them so quick and easy to use. This formula melts right into my skin and I don’t find it to be drying at all on me. It has great coverage and doesn’t appear to be caky or too powdery on my skin. 5. I love a multi-use product for saving time and this cocokind - Chagaglo Bronze Highlighter is just that. I use a little bit of it on my cheeks to warm up my face and also dab it on my eyelids to add a little bronzy shimmer. It’s creamy and blends out well but doesn’t slide all over the place - love this one! 6. Next I added a bit of the ILIA - Color Haze Multi-Use Pigment to my cheeks and lips, I have the shade Before Today and it’s a beautiful petal pink. 7. Now it’s time for brows and I always use my essence - Make Me Brow Eyebrow Gel Mascara (in shade 03) this stuff is SO GOOD and it’s like $3, I always purchase multiples at a time so I never run out. This one is the perfect shade for me and gives my brows great definition, hold, and colour. 8. Next up - lashes. I just started using this HONEST - Extreme Length Mascara + Lash Primer and it’s awesome! It has a primer on one end and the mascara on the other. I’m super impressed with the length it gives my lashes and the formula is very black. 9. My last step is spritzing my face with my CAUDALIE - CAUDALIE Beauty Elixir , this is a step that I never miss. I feel like it really blends everything together and makes it look much more natural. #CheriePartner

The effortless monochromatic look by Alexa! Ft. Honest Beauty
Check out this summery monochromatic look! It is from Alexa Blake, who has reviewed and tested many cruelty-free and affordable clean beauties. Recently, I've been switching my conventional makeup products to clean ones and her videos inspire me a lot!😊 After I watched her video - how to create this monochromatic look with one single product of Honest Beauty, I bought the Honest Beauty Crème Cheek Blush. I tried this product on my cheeks, eyes, and lips just like Alexa suggested. The color is Coral Peach. As I tested this product and tried this look, I have to say Alexa is right! It is perfect for the summertime and it does create a fresh, effortless makeup look!  HONEST - Crème Cheek Blush$12.99 Unlike Alexa, my skin is oily. I don't feel very dry when I use this product. This blush has an amazing cream to powder formula and it is definitely a great option to give you a nice healthy natural flush! For cheek: I always use a sponge to apply it to my cheeks. I dip the bottom of my sponge directly into the pan and tap it on the back of my hand to check it isn't very overloaded with the product. Then smile and bounce it onto the apples of the cheeks to build up the color. A little cream goes a long way. It also layers very nicely over the top of powder. Following the tutorials of Alexa, I also melt it down with my fingers sometimes. She recommends doing one cheek at a time and it works. 👀 For eyes: I work one eye at a time as cheeks. The product dries down pretty fast to a powdery finish so I kind of need to work quickly. But it is easy to work with. Alexa used fingers and her synthetic brush. I always blend out the edge with my fingers to warm it up.  👄 For lips: I use my fingers to apply it to the lips. Then I take a lip brush to shape out my lips. It's quite matte on the lips! This product also comes in several different shades! What's your favorite color?

BATTLE OF THE CREAM BLUSH. $20 vs $13
Powder blush who? Cream blush is the new “black.” ;) Cream blush has become really popular lately and there is so many to chose from. Let’s compare two compact cream blushes. TOWER 28 - BeachPlease Tinted Lip + Cheek Balm This is a “balm” that you can use pretty much anywhere. A cream blush does the same, it’s just a matter of name of the product. Shade shown is Happy Hour. made with Green Tea extract for calming the skin Aloe Vera extract hydrated and soothes the skin silicone free. Completely plant based vegan. DEWY. Gives a luminous glow. buildable pigment. can be applied with fingers, sponge, brush. (I prefer brush) little goes a long way. very creamy almost melted like texture. LAST ALL DAY. (This was surprising to me, but it does last all day) cute packaging, VERY HARD TO OPEN. I’ve messed up my blush with my finger nail from trying to open. 3 shades $20 - worth the price. Sold on their website and Sephora. HONEST - Crème Cheek Blush This is a traditional type of cream blush. It’s very lightweight compared to tower28. Shade shown is Plum Drop. made with raspberry, blackberry, and grapefruit extract. buildable pigment. Starts off very sheer, but can easily be built up. lightweight no parabens, talc, paraffins, petroleum, mineral oil, or synthetic fragrance. has more of a waxy feeling. dewy finish, but much more natural and matte compared to tower28. compact comes with mirror 4+ shades $13 and sold at target, Walgreens, urban outfitters, ulta and more. Very much worth it! So which one is better? If I had to choose, I’d pick honest beauty. It’s more affordable, packaging is easier to open and has a mirror. There is more color options and it’s simply just a touch bit more comfy to wear, a little less shiny. I’ll still keep buying tower28, but honest beauty takes the win for this one when it comes to more bang for your buck!

My Honest Opinion
Ok, so in the spirit of being honest, let me start by saying that I pretty much only bought these products because of the hype surrounding them. I kept hearing about how clean the formulas were, so I decided to give them a try and my verdict is: I don't hate them.... but I don't love them. HONEST - Gentle Gel Cleanser This is a perfectly fine cleanser and true to its name is actually very gentle. However, there is a fragrance because it contains the lavender essential oil. It's not a strong smell but it's definitely there, so super sensitive skins will not do well with this. I personally prefer cream cleansers to gel and therefore will probably not purchase this again. This cleanser would work best on normal/oily skin with minimal sensitivities. HONEST - Hydrogel Cream The product claims to feel like a burst of water for your skin and it sure is. Except they didn't mention that it literally looks like you splashed a bunch of water on your face. This cream leaves a very wet and borderline greasy look on my face and is very difficult to blend in. It sits on the surface and never seems to fully sink into my skin, which makes it difficult to layer other products. I would actually recommend this product to anyone who wants an intense "glow" effect. Although this is recommended for oily skin, I feel that it would still feel too greasy and would better suit a normal/dehydrated skin type. All in all, not horrible but definitely nothing special. Thank you, next.

Week 6 of Tretinoin + Progress
Looking back on my progress (Before and after) This is the end of my sixth week going on Spirinolactone (pills for hormonal acne that I take 1x a day) and Tretinoin. I purchased both treatments from Apostrophe, so they have been prescribed by a dermatologist. My Apostrophe cream formula is 0.025% Tretinoin and 4% Niacinimide. I have normal, but dehydrated skin. I’m looking to add more in as I adjust to treatment. My routine is as follows: AM HONEST - Gentle Gel Cleanser dear, klairs - Supple Preparation Unscented Facial Toner COSRX - Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence HONEST - Hydrogel Cream PURITO - Centella Green Level Unscented Sun SPF50+ Supergoop! - Glow Stick SPF 50 (I use his to reapply SPF every 2 hours) PM DHC - Deep Cleansing Oil dear, klairs - Supple Preparation Unscented Facial Toner COSRX - Hydrium Centella Aqua Soothing Ampoule 40ml HONEST - Hydrogel Cream Apostrophe Tretinoin Formula CeraVe - Healing Ointment I can see my purging period slowly coming to a close. Whereas I got about (if we’re counting) 4 new bumps per day, I now get about 1 a day. And these ones disappear relatively quickly, so within 2 days max. The purging period is definitely the hardest because your skin is literally at its worst. All the congestion is coming to the surface. It’s really hard to lose sight of the progress you’ve made and feel like Tretinoin isn’t working so that’s why taking photos is important. So, I’ve chosen to show my progress from July 17 to today, September 3rd. This really gives me a glimmer of hope, as I was feeling pretty down while purging. Compared to others my progress is slow, because I slowly worked up to daily usage of Tretinoin. And every individual has a different experience with the purging period. For some it may last only 2 weeks or a month, and for others it may last 3-4 months. There’s no telling by looking at only other’s individual experiences how your experience will go. I really want to combat the hyperpigmentation left over from before and during the purging period (PIE and PIH). So once I’m sure my inflammatory acne is completely gone, I want to consider adding in another product to increase the speed at which my marks fade.

BEST MASK ALERT
WOW ☠️ I’ve only used this mask 2 times and boy !am I happy someone suggested it to me. 🤍 I have pretty normal/combo skin so clay is too drying and any creams/serums were sticky, harsh or ineffective. Follain - Dual Detox Mask: Purify + Resurface is a perfect combo of creamy and clay. It’s so smooth to put on (invest in a mask brush, thank me later) and doesn’t smell too “foofy” (as my mom says). It drys like clay but doesn’t crack and make a mess. My main issue is blackheads and sebum and after removing this it feels like it sucked all that shiz out. After it does feel a tad dry but nothing HONEST - ELEVATED HYDRATION MIST can’t fix. I have already gotten like 4 friends on this mist (seriously - thank me later). I then finish with a serum to either hydrate with The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 or amp up the mask with The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 5% + HA . This depends on what my skin is doing. If it’s winter and very dry I mist a bit more and apply the hyaluronic acid (face MUST be wet to use this product - something I found out waaay late). If my pores are extra clogged I use the lactic acid as an additional liquid exfoliator. Follow up with an oil or night cream whatever you feelin’! Bottom line - I can’t recommend this mask enough and look forward to trying more Follain products!

Honest Beauty Mists
HONEST - Calm & Go Face Mist This face mist feels good on the skin, but don’t waste your money on this product. I have eczema, and this mist does nothing to soothe it. When Honest Beauty released their “Calm” line, this was the main product I was excited about but after 3 uses, I realized it was doing nothing for me. This product is also a bit pricier then the Hydration Mist; it is $17.99. I also do not like how the product sprays out of the bottle, it is not a gentle mist, but more of a concentrated spray that you have to spray multiple times to cover your face. After this bottle is used up, I will not be buying it again. HONEST - ELEVATED HYDRATION MIST This face mist is AMAZING!!! This product truly hydrates your skin; I like to use it right after I get out of the shower in the morning. It has a nice mist, so you only need to spray it 1-2 times to cover your entire face. This product has aloe vera, hyaluronic acid, and watermelon extract. I have also used this face mist over makeup when my skin needed a pick-me-up, and it did not mess up my makeup. This is my second bottle, and it will not be my last!!!

Honest Beauty | Thumbs up for Jessica Alba!
Clean beauty is typically expensive especially when you are just switching over. I've tried to buy products from different brands and see if they work. The process of finding the perfect products for myself was just exhausting and wasteful. Just in case you guys waste too much money at the beginning of your clean makeup journey, I'm recommending Honest Beauty and its holy grail products I love! Honest Beauty This brand is founded and developed by Jessica Alba. Everything is natural - paraben-free, mineral oil-free, synthetic fragrance-free, and so on. I've tied a fair amount of their products and here are some really impressive products at good prices! HONEST - Everything cream foundation$21.99 I have the shade of beige. This one is quite full coverage, creating one solid layer of foundation. It is quite full coverage. I feel like the cream foundations just tend to be a little heavier and drier on my skin, even though I have oily skin. Sometimes when my face feels dry, I add one drop of beauty oil to blend it out more smoothly on my face. Although it doesn't feel that lightweight, it looks pretty on my face. HONEST - Get It Together Eyeshadow Palette $19.99 Some clean beauty eyeshadows are not very pigmented, and not very easy to blend. But this product works as well as those conventional eyeshadows and it is at a good price! Smooth, buttery, soft, and long-wearing! It doesn't kick off a lot of dust. You get ten shades, all neutrals. It has a good range of cool tones and warm tones that you can create a bunch of diverse eye looks. HONEST - HONEST Luminizing Glow Powder $19.99 I'm using the color Dusk Reflection. For me, it's not a highlighter even though the name is glowing powders. It is my go-to bronzer! I keep it in my bathroom for everyday makeup. It has a very subtle sheen to it. Nothing glittery or shimmery, but it looks natural and doesn't look flat and matte. I'm glad I've found Honest Beauty! Trustable, not that pricy, worth trying. Hopefully, you guys will find it helpful!

Honest Beauty Cream Foundation
HONEST - Everything cream foundation This is one of my all time favorite foundations! I like the packaging; it’s very unique for a cream foundation. Every cream foundation I have ever used has been in a stick form, so I enjoy using my brush to apply the foundation precisely. The brush that I have found works best for this product is ecoTOOLS - 360* Ultimate Blend Kit . I also love how this color matches my skin tone! I have very fair skin and sometimes it is hard for me to find a fair foundation shade that matches my skin tone and looks natural. I use the shade “Cream”, although I could probably use one shade darker for summer. This foundation also does not require much powder to set! This base goes on matte, so all you need to do is brush some translucent powder over your t-zone and you will be set for the day!

My Favorite Serums (Dry & Senstive Skin) 🤩
When I shops for a serum, there are two things I evaluate before spending the 💵: * Can it help dry skin? * Will it irritate me? Well these two products are what been saving my skin the past few months from stress and dryness. They don’t do anything fancy other than hydrate my skin & exfoliate to give me a glow 🌟 The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 can be purchased for just $6 at ULTA and is the best HA I have used so far. It plumps my skin, packs in hydration, and is non-irritating. The texture is like a lightweight gel and little goes a long way. I apply it by pressing it into my skin after I have applied my toner. HERBIVORE - Prism 12% AHA + 3% BHA Exfoliating Glow Serum is an amazing AHA/BHA exfoliator and perfect for those of us with dry skin. It has a very similar texture to the HA from The Ordinary, and feels just as hydrating too. This product is a bit on the pricier side [retailing for $54] so if this is out of your price range, my next fave exfoliating serum would be The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 5% + HA ⭐️ The Prism serum I typically apply during my night routine and the Hyaluronic Acid is used on an everyday basis. I love using both with my HONEST - Calm On Foaming Cream Cleanserand my FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Wild Oat Hydrating Toner 💛 I usually follow up with the FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration as my moisturizer 🧴 ✨ What are your favorite serums? #CheriePartner

Skin is healing!
Thanks for all the suggestions from my last post. It really help get my skin and it looks better than before! Below are products I use to recover my skin. BLACK GIRL SUNSCREEN - Black Girl Sunscreen SPF 30 The sunscreen by itself is very moisturizing enough to wear alone. It keeps my skin moisturize all day, gives me a beautiful flow. And the best part is that it doesn’t leave a white cast on my skin. This is the best sunscreen I ever tried! Sweet CHEF - Kale + Vitamin B Serum Shot I love this stuff! After trying the sheet mask I was convince that I needed to try the serum shot because that mask really heal the the dryness and the discomfort my face was feeling. The serum shot leaves my skin soft and very hydrate. I just don’t like how difficult it is to get the product into the dropper because the serum is quite thick. FARMACY - Daily Greens Oil-Free Gel Moisturizer with Moringa and Papaya I like this moisturizer because it light weight but still keeps my skin hydrated. It also pairs will with other products. I just didn’t care for scent. CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion I use this as my night time moisturizer along with the Honest face oil to lock in additional moisturizer. The formula is very light weight and it makes my skin feel soft alone. I just don’t like that I have to pump out a lot of the product to satisfy my skin. HONEST - ORGANIC BEAUTY FACIAL OIL I like this oil a lot. It pairs well with most of the moisturizers I have and it works well on my skin when I it wear alone. You can smell the lavender in it and I read some where that it’s not really good for the skin, but it’s been helping my skin. Sweet CHEF - Kale + Vitamin B Fresh Pressed Sheet Mask I mentioned how I loved this product already! esfolio - Green Tea Jelly Pack I found this gem at TJ Maxx for about $5.00 a few months ago. I wasn’t really sure how to use it and there weren’t many reviews on it as much. When my skin had that bad reaction using some of the Glow Recipe products this was the first thing I put on my face. I would wear it alone as an over night mask. And some times in the morning I would wear for 20 minutes then rinse off and proceed with my skincare routine. I really help with my drying skin and help it it hydrate. HONEST - Deep Hydration Eye Cream I notice I had a lot of dried skin on the bag of my eyes and just a little above my eye lids from using the Glow recipes Avocado Retinol eye cream. It look like premature winkles. To avoid damaging the skin more I use this eye cream to help give the skin hydration. I notice it improve my skin and the dead skin would slowly peel off.

Another day another face oil
Organic beauty facial oil By Honest beauty. This is an organic facial oil here to nourish your skin while leaving it glowy. It has a -yellow- lightweight texture (see picture) Main ingredients are (from their website) -Avocado Oil: contains fatty acids to help soften skin -Apricot Oil: known to moisturize and nourish skin -Rose, Ylang Ylang, Clove Oils: organic fragrance oils -Perilla Seed Oil, Chia Seed Oil, Jojoba Oil: known to moisturize and nourish skin I’ve really enjoyed this oil and it smells just like spa : so relaxing. I might recommend using it at night cause I feel like it does leave an -over-dewy/glowy look in the AM (but it’s just my opinion and how I felt about it). It really helped my hydrate and nourish my dry skin and the bottle lasted quick a bit (few months) You can find it, conveniently at target for $27,99 (1oz) which is very cheap for an (organic) face oil. I recommend it ! Bisou 😘

Gun-Metal Grey to up the Drama
My health has been failing me as of late, so glamming up has been the highlight of my day (excuse the pun). Today, I played with two palettes that I’ve had for a while, but I haven’t tried many fun looks with them since I usually stick to neutral, basic looks. I used colors from my Clinique All About Basics Palette and the Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics Palette. These colors are beautiful, easy to blend, and last all throughout the day. For the lips, I mixed NYX Lingerie Liquid Lipstick in Lipli 06 and Honest Beauty Tinted Lip Balm in Plum Drop. The blush is my usual Glossier Cloud Paint in Beam. Highlight is tréStique Highlighter Stick in Maldives Luminescent. I also threw on a little bit of the Sunset Bronzer from Aesthetica. Smoky, gun-metal grey looks are classic for a reason 💨

Honest Beauty Everyday Radiance Moisturizer
Honest Beauty Everyday Radiance Moisturizer
The #Honest Beauty - Everyday Radiance Moisturizer[products]#[TwoStars] smells lovely but it just doesn’t do it for me🤷🏾‍♀️ As you can see in the video, it doesn’t melt into my skin very easily at all. 😫The texture is not too thick, not too light, and the product has a milky white color. I appreciate that it is cruelty and paraben free, but I wouldn’t recommend this product for those with dry skin only because I don’t think that it does a good job of locking in enough moisture. 👐🏾 About $28 for 1.7 fl. oz Have any of you tried this product? What did you think?🤔

HONEST BEAUTY GLOWY BAKED BRONZER
HONEST BEAUTY GLOWY BAKED BRONZER
HONEST - Luminizing Powder I’m pretty sure I’ve made myself pretty clear with so many similar reviews- but I love glowy bronzers!!! This baked Luminous Glow Powder from Honest Beauty is *dreamy*. The texture is super soft but there’s no fall-out, and pigmented enough that you don’t HAVE to build it up, but you can if you want more. There is a slight luminosity in this powder, you can tell from the name, and it just gives the skin a blurred bronze effect. I wish this bronzer came in more shades as I love this formula, but unfortunately there’s currently only one. If I weren’t to use it as a bronzer, I also love brushing it just across my cheeks and nose to give some warmth to my face. It’s subtle and beautiful!

As I mentioned in earlier reviews, I’m way too lazy for lipstick and a lip balm addict since childhood. Tinted lip balm is my fancy wear! I have really been wanting to try the Honest Beauty line because Jessica Alba is just so perfect and I’ve been curious because she seems to actually use many of her products (or is just really good at PR). I got the tinted lip balm in Lychee Fruit (nude) to start with because it was an inexpensive venture into the brand ($8.99). I am really impressed by the formula! It looks amazing and gives way more color payoff than I expected for a tinted lip balm and is buildable (full disclosure I’m ghastly pale and have very light lips). It did not settle in my lip line and actually made my lips feel moisturized (formulated with avocado, açaí, and pomegranate oils). Bonus it is unscented and not an obnoxious sweet fruity smell despite the fruit themed color names. I will definitely be purchasing more colors in this line to enhance my everyday makeup! 💕 HONEST - Honest Beauty Tinted Lip Balm

HONESTly doesn’t hold up to it’s claims 🧐
HONESTly doesn’t hold up to it’s claims 🧐
Honest Beauty- Magic Gel-to-Milk- cleanser Ingredients: Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glycerin, Water (Aqua), Sucrose Laurate, Rosa Damascena Flower Water, Caprylyl Glycol, Sucrose Stearate, Sucrose Palmitate, Kaolin, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Citric Acid. So everything about this cleanser sounds lovely! The feeling of it is beautiful, super light weight and leaves the skin soft and fresh, however it claims that it “will melt makeup away” and I am sad to report that is NOT the case. Multiple attempts using this cleanser with different levels of makeup on and even with a super light weight CC cream and regular (non water proof) mascara on and with the wipe of a cotton pad with toner on it, SO MUCH makeup residue was still coming off of my skin. Now, I love supporting brands like Honest and maybe its just in my experience, but I don’t like that it specifically states that it removes makeup when it absolutely does not. If you do a “makeup melt” oil cleanse before hand, maybe this is great for washing the skin after or using as a morning cleanser before starting your beauty routine for the day, but since it is advertised as an all encompassing cleanser I have to give it a solid thumbs down for false advertising. Sorry Jessica. HONEST - Magic Gel-to-Milk Cleanser #cheriecreator #HONESTlydidntwork #thumbsdown
