Products I Don’t Use Everyday
Hi guys! I wanted to share with you some products that I don’t use as frequently in my skin care routine. First up is The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution This is the first time I’ve used an AHA or BHA. I had done some research and many found that this product was a great help for deep acne scars and could possibly help with my hormonal acne. I’ve had this for a little over 3 weeks and have only used it 3 times (once per week). This is the use I would recommend since this is a strong exfoliant. Overall, I like the results so far, but they will not come overnight. Once I use this for a few months I believe I will see an improvement in my skin. Next is SheaMoisture - African Black Soap Clarifying Mud Mask This mask is great! It’s a clay mask, but it doesn’t dry tight on your face. It is comfortable to wear and doesn’t weigh down your skin like I feel other clay masks do. I use this product about once per week as well. Also a little goes a long way. I’ve had this tub since February and and I haven’t even used half of it yet. It’s also great to use as a spot treatment. Third is BURT’S BEES - Micellar Cleansing Water I cannot say enough good things about this micellar water. I use it to take my makeup off and also on the days I don’t wear makeup to refresh my skin. This literally works like a magnet. It draws out makeup and dirt so well. This was such an impulse buy because I needed new makeup remover, but I will definitely repurchase! Finally is J.R. WATKINS - Heritage Store Rosewater & Glycerin Spray This spray is great to spritz on your face in the middle of the day to refresh your skin. I also like to use it as a “setting spray” after I apply my makeup. It just provides an extra boost of hydration and the rosewater is very soothing. Hope you guys enjoy! Let me know your thoughts😊

Hit or Miss?
I recently got these at the drugstore and wanted to see if they work. The answer is YES! I love these products they are such good products coming from the drugstore! Pros! The pros of these products are they both smell good and they feel really nice on my skin! Cons :( The cons of these products are that the mud mask is not a very good product for sensitive skin. But other than that overall these products are great! Especially the cleanser! Products: SheaMoisture - African Black Soap and Bamboo Charcoal Detoxifying Foaming Facial Wash SheaMoisture - African Black Soap Clarifying Mud Mask

Frizzy Hair Fix Pt. 2
I purchased this after much time spent watching curly hair youtubers just dying over how good this product was, naturally I had to try it for myself. Just a heads up: I have wavy hair so I’m definitely not the ideal person to be using this product; however, I figured this could aid with frizz and it sure did! It definitely does make my waves feel different after I use it, but it cuts down on frizz SO MUCH!! I experience little to no frizz after using and sleeping on it. 🕊Makes hair soft 🕊Little goes a long way 🕊Cuts down on frizz 🕊Silicone free! I’d definitely recommend to anyone in need of a cure for frizz. I believe if you have curly/kinky hair this will help define your curls too considering that’s its main purpose.

LOC Method - Lets replenish that moisture girl.
The LOC method is : L-Liquid or Leave in O-oil C-cream. I recommend this method when you’re hair is dry & needs a pick me up & definitely after wash day. This method allows for your hair to retain its moisture, stop breakage, & gives your curls amazing definition. -**SN: I have high porosity, 4B/4C, dyed hair** Products (L👉🏽R Liquid/Leavin in: 👩🏽‍🦱Just plain water in a spray bottle. Your hair should be wet when applying these products for maximum absorption. I got this spray bottle for $2 at my local beauty supply store. 👩🏾‍🦱made beautiful - Nourishing Leave In Conditioner I absolutely love this leave in. It’s has shea butter, coconut, mango & honey. It’s also sulfate & paraben free! It’s not heavy as other leave-ins which I highly appreciate and it’s smells wonderful. I got this on sale at Sally’s Beauty ($1.50) but you can also find at Target ($9.99) Oil: 👩🏿‍🦱Olive oil. This was just from the grocery store. I buy this and it last me about 2-3 months. I apply this to my hair shaft mostly for shine & moisture. It’s helps with frizz, damage, & penetrates the hair shaft. This can be used on ALL hair types. When looking for Olive Oil it’s must be extra virgin olive oil (Pompeian =favorite brand)... just look for the red stamp. Walmart ($4) 👩🏻‍🦱Coconut oil. This is a sense does the same thing that olive oil does. I Do NOT use these together. I choose between if it’s a wash day (olive oil) or if my hair is just dry (coconut oil). Walmart ($4) 👩🏽‍🦱FRO BUTTER - With Emu Oil - Hair Growth Butter This is my hair crack. I apply this to my scalp. It’s smells so good & it’s lightweight (mostly like a grease). It’s has shea butter, coconut oil, & vegetable glycerin (pulls moisture from the air to hair). It also has emu oil, which is an Australian native bird. It has antimicrobial effects, and penetrates the hair follicle. I got mines from amazon ($18) but I think now the website is $20 Cream: 👩🏾‍🦱SheaMoisture - Red Palm Oil & Cocoa Butter Curl Stretch Pudding I rotate between this & SheaMoisture - Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie these products are amazing and help to seal in any product I’ve added to my hair . *Curl product Curls - So So Def Vitamin C Curl Defining Jelly this stuff smells soooo good I only use this during style day but I had to include this in this post. It literally makes my hair smell like pineapples🍍

My Favorite Bar Soap
SheaMoisture - African Black Soap Bar Soap is by far my favorite bar soap ever. I used this soap hoping it would help with my body acne and it actually seems to be helping unlike acne body washes. This soap smells amazing and leaves my skin feeling soft and clean. I absolutely love how it truly gives a deep cleanse. 💗This soap is not tested on animals and has ethically traded ingredients.💗 I got this bar in a free gift from ULTA but once I use it all up I will definitely be buying another one. It’s not a bad price for a bar soap this high of quality; it costs $6 from ULTA.

Zendaya's skincare routine✨What makes her skin glow for 2020 Emmy Awards🤔
The 24-year-old actor and singer Zendaya has shared her secret skincare weapons to let her glow at Hollywood’s biggest events 2020 Emmy Awards. Today we are going to explore her skincare routine and her recommended products.  Zendaya’s 3-step simple evening skincare routine: Step 1. Cleansing: SheaMoisture - African Black Soap Bar Soap($6) Wipe off all makeup and dirt with Shea Moisture African Black Soap Facial Cleansing Wipes. It is super important to wash your makeup off and keep your skin clear before going to bed. Step 2. Toner: THAYERS - Witch Hazel Blemish Clearing Toner ($7) Apply rose water witch hazel as a toner on the face with cotton pads. The toner is really refreshing and has a nice, soft scent. Step 3. Facial Oil: THE BODY SHOP - Body Shop Vitamin E Night Serum($27) Apply Vitamin E Oil so that her skin would look fresh by the morning.  Review: All her products are relatively affordable, and it’s a great choice to simplify skincare routines to avoid extra pressure on the skin.  The editor Jessica Vacco-Bolanos from the elite daily has tried Zendaya’s skincare routine. She points out that after one week of trying Zendaya’s night routine, her skin felt refreshed, recharged, and looked a lot less tried. She also tried to continue on this routine in the morning, and she felt her skin got so hydrated that the foundation could easily be blended, and power didn’t clump up afterward.  Comment below to share your thoughts💖

Have you tried this Shea Moisture hair masque? I’m sure many of you have heard of this deep conditioner or have used it! I have been using it myself for 3 years now and absolutely love it 💕 I love that it is only $10 sometimes $12 depending on where you buy it & my hair always feels super soft and my curls are always defined after rinsing it out. As you can see I am running very low and need some more I will be doing that this week! 10/10 recommend!!! How I apply it: I apply it differently depending on the length of my hair so if my hair is long I will apply it in sections and work it through with my fingers. 🖐🏾If my hair is short I will apply it to my ends first then my roots and work it through with my fingers. 🖐🏾After this I will put my plastic cap on and then my deep conditioning heat cap on and leave the conditioner in for 30 mins.🕛🕧 Lastly, I will rinse the conditioner out with warm water and once I feel it is all out I will rinse my hair with cool water to lock in the moisture. 💦 I do this once a week! Key Ingredients: - Manuka Honey - Mafura Oil - African Rock Fig

Help!?! Fine/Wavy/Curly girl
I was born with like zero hair, it grew in hell’s patchy and bright orange ( ginger reject right here!) But it was super thin for most of my life. My pony tails were like the diameter of a dime. But I started cutting my hair really short in middle school and that helped a lot, though the strands are still thin, I have a lot of fine hair. But I always straightened my hair once I was older cause waves and stuff weren’t cool, nor was red hair, so I was a big fan of the dye and bleach as well. So now I seem to be left when a head of hair that A) is drier than the high heavens but doesn’t want to take in moisture properly without weighing it down, or making it never dry without heat. B) the top section appears to be more 2a, the mid more 2b-2c and underneath at the nape I can get tight ringleader curls? Where’s there uniformity? C) I have tried to do the curly girl method and that’s caused a lot of issues with my scalp and skin, and a lot of the heavy butters and oils are too much for my hair and just weigh it down. This leaves me wondering how to proceed. This I have used and like. Aveeno - Scalp Soothing Apple Cider Vinegar Blend Shampoo SheaMoisture - Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Style Milk ogx - Green Tea Fitness Air Dry Cream Herbal Essences - Totally Twisted Curl-Boosting Mousse with Berry Essences

Have High-Porosity Hair? Try These Products!
I have high porosity hair and always look for good styling products. I've tried only two products so far. They have different texture, but they all have good effects, so I recommend them to you and here is my review. SheaMoisture - Coconut & Hibiscus Curling Gel Souffle   My hair will be styled well after blow drying. It smells like coconut and I really love that. The hair will not feel sticky after drying.   The only cons is that its texture is a little hard. The texture is more like jelly, which cannot be squeezed by hand. If I apply it to hair and it will fall off. Half left in the hair, half fell to the ground.😂   PERCY & REED - Quite Frankly Flawless Finishing Polish   I bought it from Sephora. I like its milk texture and it's more like cream. It smells nice and I guess most of you will like its scent. I squeeze a pea sized amount in my hands and then apply it to my hair. It really helps to tame my frizz hair, but I have to say the hair styling effect isn't as good as the gel.   When the air is wet, the hair will be a little frizzy😭So if your curly hair tends to be frizzy, you'd better choose gel. If your curly hair is smooth, you can use this cream. How to Determine Your Hair Porosity I mention that I have high porosity hair, and if you don't know how to determine your hair porosity, I'll share what I learned on hair website. How can you determine if you have high-porosity hair, low-porosity hair, or something in between? Take a dry, clean strand (meaning, with no styling products on it) of your hair out of your head, put it into a cup of water, and see how long it takes to sink to the bottom. If it sinks straight away, you have high-porosity hair; if it sinks after a few seconds, you have medium-porosity hair, and if takes even longer to sink, you have low-porosity hair.

How to choose the right curl defining gel
How to choose the right curl defining gel? If you have curly hair you already know how hard it can be to maintain. From fighting frizz to trying to lock in as much moisture as possible, sometimes curls have a mind of their own. One way I like to keep my curls playing nice is by adding a curl defining gel into my haircare routine.  What is a curl defining gel? Curl gel is made to help maintain moisture in curly hairstyles while keeping curls intact for longer. If you struggle with frizz or your curls tend to lose their shape throughout the day - a curl gel is probably your best bet.  How to use it? Most girls find that applying their favorite gel to damp hair works the best. After you shampoo and condition, towel dry your hair to get rid of the initial moisture. When the hair is damp, apply a dollop of gel and ‘scrunch’ your curls.  What gel is best for what hair texture? Course: SHEA MOISTURE COCONUT & HIBISCUS CURLING GEL SOUFFLE This gel is made with Coconut & Hibiscus and other natural ingredients to keep curls feeling hydrated without weighing them down. This is a relatively cost-effective option that does what it says.  Curly: IT'S A 10 MIRACLE DEFRIZZING GEL My favorite curl gel for frizzy hair is by It’s a 10. I love the MIRACLE DEFRIZZING GEL. I personally love using this one to help combat my incredibly frizzy tresses.  Both of these products are great for different types of hair. If you have more coarse or kinky hair, I think it’s totally worth it to give the gel by Shea Moisture a shot! For me, my hair is curly and dry so I love using the It’s a 10 gel to help lock in some much-needed moisture in my hair.

Moisturizer I fell in ❤️ with during quarantine
I ran out of my normal evening moisturizer during quarantine..... oh no what do I do??? TARGET HERE I COME!! 😂 Retails for $9.99 I try to stick with the natural, paraben free, sulfate free products and I had been using a few things from SheaMoisture already, so why not give it a try! Now I don’t think I will be going back to my fancy moisturizer anytime soon! The 3 main ingredients they use are: fair trade she’s butter (duh 😉) coconut oil and milk blend 🥥 acacia Senegal (I had to look up what this was! It’s gum Arabic made from a tree) The smell is soft and does not linger around long. Which I like because I add my evening serum and lavender oil to this. Too many fragrances can gross me out! 😂 It’s light weight but still gives me the moisture I need. And I do have some sensitivity around my chin and it did not break that out! (YAY!) 😁 SheaMoisture - 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Daily Hydration Face Lotion #cheriecreator #dailymoisture #sheamoisture

Morning Vs Night Skincare Routine
There is a difference with products and routine when it comes to Morning and Night time skin care. ❤️Products and routine varies depending on skin type. This is a simple morning and night skincare routine difference for you to work with❤️ 🌞Morning Skincare Routine🌞 Morning skincare routines are lightweight and simple (3 to 4 steps) The reason your morning skincare routine should be light is because you are active during the day, wearing makeup etc. This can cause you to sweat, produce more oil, expose your skin to the elements like pollution etc. Lightweight products are water based, thinner consistency and absorb easily. Also your morning routine will maintain your skin keeping it clear, balanced and glowing. My Favorite Morning Skincare Products DR. BRONNER'S - Baby Unscented Pure-Castile Liquid Soap DICKINSON'S - Witch Hazel Liquid DERMA•E - Vitamin C Concentrated Serum SheaMoisture - 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Daily Hydration Face Lotion 🌚Night Skincare Routine🌚 Night skincare routines are heavier and have more steps ( 6 to 7) The reason why night time routines are heavier is because you are ending the day ( cleansing , removing makeover) etc and rejuvenating your skin. Night is the best time to utilize skin treatments and mask because you are getting ready to sleep. While sleeping your skin repairs itself and has the time to absorb all the benefits of your products. My Favorite Night Skincare Products Nolaskinsentials - Glycolic Foam Cleanser artnaturals - Rose Water Toner teamí - Hibiscus Infused Vitamin C Serum SheaMoisture - African Black Soap Clarifying Mud Mask SheaMoisture - 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Daily Hydration Face Lotion SheaMoisture - 100% Extra Virgin Coconut Oil Hopefully this is helpful when it comes to what you should do for a morning vs night skincare routine, any questions comment below #cheriecreator

Three Common Hair Questions Answered!
I've been getting quite a few questions all pertaining to haircare. So I thought I would take the time to dive into a few of the most common that I have been hearing from you guys. Q: How do I enhance my curls and avoid frizz? A: Curly hair is naturally dry, so moisture is the key to making your curls happy. There are a few things you can do to promote healthier and hydrated curls. Use a sulfate-free shampoo or Co-wash like AS I AM - Coconut Cleansing Conditioner to prevent it from stripping natural oils from the hair. Conditioner like SheaMoisture - Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Shine Conditioner specially formulated for curly hair will have extra moisturizing properties. Curls - Blueberry CURL Control Paste Styling gel is excellent for controlling frizz and flyaways. Q: Is there any way I can make my hair grow faster? A: Sadly, no, but not all hope is lost. You may not be able to grow your hair faster, but you can make sure that the hair you have makes it to a longer length. A diet that is rich in Zinc and Biotin keeps the hair healthy enough to meet its full potential. Q: I want to grow my hair longer but my ends get really damaged and eventually split. Do I have to get it cut? A: unfortunately, you have to cut it to grow it. After five weeks of growth with no trim, you will get bigger split ends, and you will have to cut more off in the long run. It may not seem like it, but you end up saving time and length by trimming every 3-4 weeks.

SheaMoisture Raw Shea Butter Hydrating Body Wash
SheaMoisture Raw Shea Butter Hydrating Body Wash
This has been my go to body wash for years ! It’s extremely moisturizing. SheaMoisture - Raw Shea Butter Body Wash 🌻13 fl oz I get mine from Target for about $8.99 🌻 Has Shea Butter and Coconut Oil 🌻Frankincense and Myrrh give this a product a sweet and earthy scent. It smells amazing ! 🌻 The consistency is runny BUT a little goes a long way. 🌻 Goes on like silk and leaves my skin smooth and moisturized 🌻Extremely Moisturizing 🌻No Parabens, No Mineral Oil , No Sulfates, No Animal Testing 🌻Great for Dry Skin 🌻Leaves a light scent on the skin The only thing with this body wash is that because it’s of a thinner, liquid consistency I use a lot. Which isn’t needed a little spreads and lathers enough. If you haven’t tried this body wash I highly recommend ❤️ #cheriecreator

I thought this would of helped my dry skin. I used it multiple times with no makeup but I didn’t like it. It made my face really greasy looking. Not at all like the glow I was hoping for. Now I use it sometimes as part of my night routine.
