How do these lip balms compare?
Dr.Lipp - Original Nipple Balm for Dry Skin Luscious Lips & Glossy Bits Ointment style balm which can be used for dry skin, cuticles etc also 100% lanolin with no fragrances, parabens, sulphate or silicone which is great for sensitive skin Lips looks lovely and glossy I find this too thick for daily use and prefer as an overnight treatment as it lasts all night and is still on when I wake up MOOGOO - Lip Balm Pucker Pack (Vanilla Dream) Contains a mix of beeswax, vanilla and a variety of oils including coconut, castor, soy bean, apricot, sweet almond and jojoba oil Has a lovely scent and taste from the natural vanilla Nice consistency which is thick enough to only need a single swipe Lasts well through food and only needs to be reapplied a couple times a day BURT’S BEES - Honey Lip Balm Contains a mix of beeswax, honey, natural flavour and a variety of oils including coconut, sunflower seed, soybean and canola Not much of a scent or flavour despite having both honey and natural flavour added Nice and smooth but needs multiple swipes back and forward to build enough product on my lips I find it wears off quickly and I need to reapply hourly SOL de Janeiro - Brazilian Kiss Cupuaçu Lip Butter Contains a mix of beeswax, cupuaçu seed butter, flavour, aroma and various oils including coconut, sunflower seed, olive, grape seed, rosemary leaf, hemp seed and açaí Has the delicious taste and smell of dulce de leche Buttery smooth and just melts into your lips leaving them beautifully soft Lasts well on my lips and only needs to be reapplied a couple times a day Lano - Strawberry 101 Ointment Multi-Balm Ointment style balm suitable for dry patches, elbows and cuticles 100% lanolin with natural strawberry extract and vitamin e Has the lovely fruity sweet smell and taste of strawberry Lips look lovely and glossy Transfers a bit when eating but lasts well and rarely needs to be reapplied if not eating

rms beauty vs Lano?
rms beauty - lip shine and Lano - Lips Tinted Balm are two lip products that I’ve tried recently. I have the lip shine in Bloom and the balm in Rose, and they’re very similar colors- both a gorgeous subtle dusty pink shade that’s great for everyday wear. rms lip shine: Nay Pros- This lip shine is a great color for my light skin tone. It’s easy to apply, and you can get either a subtle sheen of color or a more saturated look by building the product. It has a faint shimmer which is very pretty on the lips! Cons- The texture of this product is not my favorite. It’s kind of sticky and dry-feeling on my lips. The texture changes a lot with temperature; in the summer, it’s much smoother and nicer feeling. When it’s cold out, though, it’s pretty tacky and hard. It smells and tastes kind of odd, although it’s not very noticeable. It’s not very long- lasting, either, and for $25 I don’t think this product is worth the price. Lano tinted lip balm: Yay Pros: First, I just have to say: this lip balm smells amazing!!! It’s a slight sweet vanilla fragrance that is very pleasant. I also love how it looks on my lips, it gives them a glossy sheen and a nice wash of color. The texture is fairly thick, but it doesn’t feel too heavy on the lips. The application is really nice too- it’s in a tube, so you can be more precise and to don’t have to use your fingers. It’s somewhat hydrating, although if you have very try lips I would try a different product. The price is around $14, which is not at all bad for what you get! Cons: As with the lip shine, temperature has a huge effect on texture. When it’s cold, this product gets thick and almost waxy, which makes it hard to apply. Overall, I would recommend the lip balm over the lip shine! I will not be repurchasing the rms product, but the lip balm is my go-to for an everyday look.

Battle of the lip balms 🥊
As I said before, I have the driest lips in the world! I have tried many products to improve them. I have many lip products, but I will focus on 3 that have one ingredient in common: lanolin. BITE - Agave Lip Mask One of the best lip balms/masks I've ever tried, it doesn't feel sticky, it gives a slight touch of color and shine, it lasts for many hours and it hydrates the lips wonderfully. I apply it in the morning after Algenist - Genius liquid collagen lip. Unfortunately, this product was reformulated to be vegan and lanolin was taken away. I wanted to give the new formula a chance but I have read very bad reviews and never bought it. So I searched the internet if there was any dupe and I found Lanolips. Lano - Lips Tinted Balm $13.50 I like the natural color, it leaves a shiny and not sticky finish. It is not as durable as Bite's. It doesn't taste or smell anything to me, I bought rhubarb. It’s not my favorite, although it also has lanolin doesn’t have the same effect as Bite's. Its plus is that it has SPF 30. Jack Black - Intense Therapy Lip Balm SPF 25 $8 It’s the cheapest of the 3 and also has SPF. It is just as light and not very durable as Lanolips, I like its mint flavor and smell, doesn’t feel sticky. Definitely if I had a chance to keep buying the old Bite formula, I would do it without thinking.

Lanolips is amazing!
So excited that lanolips is on Ulta now! I already ordered a couple of things from them but just wanted to post this baby first. It is their 101 ointment that can be used for dry chapped lips, cracked knuckles, eye brow tamer, and anything you can think of. This product is amazing. This is unscented/unflavored but I do have my eye on the fruity balms they have now. 100% recommend trying out lano, amazing company vegetarian free cruelty free and amazing products! I’m impressed with their skincare so far too (I’ll post an update on those babies after trying them out for awhile don’t worry) 5/5 amazing lip balm

The BEST product for you lips!
Hey guys! So excited to share any tips and tricks I find along the way- starting with this! I deal with very dry and cracked lips and I have tried everything 😔 but I found that the ingredient lanolin is amazingly hydrating! Vaseline - Lip Therapy, Original Lip Balm I used to use Vaseline all the time, but I always found that as soon as it wore off my lips were just as dry! LANEIGE - LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask this smells amazing and adds a nice tint but I found the same thing! CARMEX - Classic Lip Balm, Medicated this will always be a favourite!! But when your lips are cracked it can sometimes sting Lano - The Original 101 Ointment Multipurpose Superbalm this product is amazing and contains lanolin- and you can use it for any dry area: cuticles, skin cracks and cracked lips! Lanolips is my go to but I found this product and it’s 100% lanolin (I know it has a strange label- but don’t be discouraged!) and it’s cheaper then any big brands! Lansinoh - Lanolin Nipple Cream is honestly the best thing if you want hydrated lips! And you don’t need a lot 💖

Hand 🖐🏻 and Foot 🦶🏻 cream
Lano - Milk & Honey Lin Hand Cream Intense doesn’t have a particularly strong smell to it, very very light milk and honey 🍯 scent. Barely notice it if it wasn’t written on the product nice and thick I don’t expect any hand cream to make my hands look younger (even tho I’m barely 20yrs old), being out in desert weather 🌞zaps the moisture plus having to use sanitizer 24/7 after just touching a door handle has taken a toll of my hands. But this cream makes them feel softer. doesn’t improve appearance but definitely texture - so it’s more of a functional cream rather than purely cosmetic product (by that I mean it actually solves the problem of dry hands not just making them look less crusty) Lano - Minty Foot & Leg Balm this stuff made my feet feel cooler 🧊 from the mint 🌱 thick formula made my feet soft! love getting out of the shower 🚿putting this on, then a pair of fuzzy socks 🧦 💫Both of these creams are natural and safe to use on sensitive skin too. No 🚫petroleum’s or parabens or fragrance etc... 💫Lanolin 🐑 is naturally thick and pasty so after applying these there was a period of somewhat sticky hands & feet. But that’s just lanolin so I expected that from the formula. It’s not an unbearable stick, doesn’t make anything stick to your hands. It just doesn’t dry down immediately like other lotions 🧴 and creams. But that means your skin is extra protected! 💕 I’m a big fan of Lano brand and still have their lip balm that I made a post of a while ago!

Can you tell this is my favorite hand cream? It’s been through it!! 😂 I use my hands a lot for work so I need to have a good hand cream by my side always. I love this one because it has a balmy texture and it feels hydrating hours after I first apply it. It’s also great for the price because you really need just the tiniest bit and it’s so moisturizing, I think the tube is like $16 and it’s available at Ulta! Lip scrubs, which one is worth the money?
Lip care, super important. Exfoliating your lips is a good idea as it scrubs off dead skin cells and keeps your lips soft. But which one should you use? Whilst I can’t give a straight answer, I can give you some info on some products so you can think and decide for yourself. LANOLIPS Lemonaid Scrubba-Balm: a lip balm and exfoliator, killing two birds with one stone. Easy to apply and doesn’t leave a mess. $18-$19 LUSH Cherry Lip Scrub: a lip exfoliator, apply onto your lips then lick it off. Taste like cherries, very sweet taste. $10 Before I share my opinion, know that I am reviewing this based off price and practicality, not if the product worked for me. Everyone is different and just because one product worked for me doesn’t mean that it’ll work for you. My opinion: I like the Lemonaid exfoliator + lip balm because it immediately moisturises my lips after exfoliating, but I can only use this once a week or I’ll suffer the consequences of over exfoliation🥶. It’s really easy to apply and the subtle lemon taste is nice. The $18 price tag is so silly for something I can only use once a week. The LUSH scrub always makes me feel a bit dry after I apply and after I lick it off my lips, but putting on a lip balm after fixes that. It is messy though and a bit annoying to apply. It gives my lips a nice feel after I put lip balm on and it’s affordable. I would rather buy the LUSH scrub rather than the LANOLIPS Lemonaid. That’s all there is folks. Ciao~💋

Lanolips Lemonaid Scrubba-Balm Lip Balm
Lano - Lemonaid Scrubba-Balm Lip Balm I bought this because my lips were really dry and cracked and I hate using lip scrubs in the jar form. I’ve used the NYX one before and loved it but decided to give this one a try. It doesn’t really exfoliate the lips, which is really weird for something that is supposed to exfoliate the lips, but it does feel nice and smells good and my lips are very moisturized afterwards. Overall I wouldn’t buy this again, but it’s good for being in a pinch. The grains are very small and I think that’s why it doesn’t do anything.

Evening Routine Necessities 🌙 & a La Mer Dupe!?
SUNDAY RILEY - A+ High-Dose Retinol Serum — This is truly the fountain of youth! Compared to other products containing retinol, that I’ve tired, this is superior! (I do in part think the 6.5% retinoid is in part to blame.) I use this a couple times a week and it is the only thing that really reduces wrinkles/fine lines. I don’t use this product in conjunction with many others because it’s very strong—I’ll use a gentle cleanser with my Foreo Luna Play Plus, tone, apply eye cream, apply the retinoid, and then moisturize. $85 is a bit too pricey for me to purchase out front, so I waited for a sale and found it for $60 at Urban Outfitters during a 30% off beauty sale. NIVEA - NIVEA Crème — I purchased this online through Amazon for $11 after hearing on some blogs that it was a dupe for the elite LA MER - LA MER Moisturizing Cream(which retails for $190 for 1oz). While Nivea is sold stateside, usually in a plastic tub in their signature royal blue, I specifically ordered this one from Amazon due to the fact it’s the German version, which has a different formula than the US version and is therefore more similar to La Mer’s The Moisturizing Cream. While I haven’t tried La Mer’s moisturizer, I am really impressed with the German version of the Nivea Creme so far! I apply this in the evening by taking a small amount of product and rubbing it between my hands until it’s no longer white/thick, I then press it into my skin and move my hands in an up and out matter to blend it in. This creme is definitely fragranced, so it might not be the best for sensitive skin. After a few nights of use, the dry/flakey skin on the top of my forehead and nose have totally disappeared and swapped for smooth glowing skin! While I don’t think this is a necessity for the summer months, it’s been great to counteract the effects of fall winds and dry weather. If you’re going to buy this as a La Mer dupe, buy the German version on Amazon or through another retailer! SEPHORA COLLECTION - Rose Quartz Gua Sha — This is my first Gua Sha and I love it so far! Prior to purchasing this, I was using a jade roller from Ulta that I wasn’t blown away by—the roller always squeaked and felt rickety. The Gua Sha is incredibly easy to hold, clean, and use compared to the roller I tried. This is typically the last step in my routine, after a moisturizer, and I find it helps my products sink into my skin. To use, I follow a short YouTube video to use the Gua Sha to remove fluid from and lift my face. For $12, you can’t go wrong! Lano - Everywhere Multi-Cream — Instead of a super thick hand cream, I’ve been using this on my cuticles and tops of my hands to help my hands with the consistent hand sanitizer, washing, and dry fall weather. My hands and cuticles feel much softer and look healthier! This cream is unscented and can be used everywhere, a little goes a long way!

Here are some products I’ve be
Here are some products I’ve been enjoying lately: atrue Spring Green Tea Watery Calming Cream - filled with mixtures of red rose, sunflower, and blue mallow petals + blueberry and lemon to deliver fresh spring day to your skin. Highly moisturizing and soothing, this tub will last me a while cos a little goes a long way. I also love how this can double as a mask pack — just apply thickly onto skin and wait 15 mins., massage onto skin afterwards to remove dead skin cells. Wash-off, continue with your routine and slather some more! bliss Mighty Marshmallow a whipped mask that delivers a brightening boost that help revive dull, lackluster skin with the help of marshmallow root extract. I use this whenever I look tired and it does help at making me look a little less tired. Scent’s a bit of floral and I wish it was sweeter.... I don’t know maybe a hint of marshmallow???? LOL aromatica Rose Absolute First Serum I was influenced by glowbynats to pick this up and I have no regrets. This serum has a highly-enriched essence texture that also doubles as a toner, what more should I ask for? Contains Bulgarian damask rose oil and organic herb extracts, this will leave your skin balanced, radiant, and revitalized. This smells wonderful and the frosted glass packaging makes it even better. lano lips 101 Ointment It’s time to throw your petroleum filled balms away and switch into this one. This lanolim balm penetrates and seals in moisture. It gives extreme hydration to dry lips, skin patches, cuticles, cracked heels, you name it. Can’t wait to get my hands on the other flavors (especially the coconut) althea Real Fresh Skin Detoxer in Rose made with French rose petals + extract to help refine the skin. I’ve been using this as a morning cleanser slash mask pack and I gotta say my complexion has been looking healthier. Leaves my skin soft and not stripped which is always important.

Lano Face Base
Lano - Face Base Aussie Flyer Mask I have EXTREMELY dry skin plus I travel for work. I bought this for use on long flights since I get extra dried out on planes and need all the help I can get. This product definitely has a learning curve, the first time I used it I put too much on and my face felt so weird until I could properly wash my face in the hotel. I use less of it now and it’s really moisturizing and doesn’t leave my face a mess. I have also started using it as a sleep mask and I wake up with really nice skin. It’s not flaky or right at all.
