BUDGET AMAZON 4C HAIR/DRY SKIN ROUTINE✨
it took me years to find anything that's works for my dry sensitive skin let alone work to help me style and detangle my 4C hair. SKIN ROUTINE: I only trust Noxzema facial cleansers to not break me out and actually CLEAN my skin. I also recommend a soft bristle spin brush to help scrub. (I strongly recommend getting the NOXZEMA - Ultimate Clear Daily Deep Pore Cleanser The one in my photo has tiny beads that are hard to wash off without soaking your shirt) Be sure to pat dry your face. Next I use the ANDALOU NATURALS - CannaCell Hydrating Toner . This product contains "hemp stem cells", not too sure what that does but it sure does help keep moisture in. It has a citrus scent as well. You can spray about 2-3 times in a cotton pad but I usually just spray on the hands and rub it into my skin. The HONEST - Hydrogel Cream is the best thing I've ever used. I used to pay $50-$60 for the Murad - Nutrient-Charged Water Gel and never has it ever held in moisture all DAY. I never had to put lotion on my face again. My face never dried up again!!! 4C HAIR CARE: The TANGLE TEEZER - The Large Wet Detangler Hairbrush and Carol's Daughter - Hair Milk 4-in-1 ''Combing'' Crème I've only seen used on type 3 hair and was almost positive that it would not work for me. Was I extremely wrong. On wet hair the tangle teaser is the best detangler I've EVER USED. I was depressed and my hair was matted from neglect and it made the process of reviving my hair so much more tolerable. The 4 in 1 Hair milk, I used after detangling a section and applied from the ends to the roots, then brushed over them again. I wouldn't say to use this as a styling cream with type 4 hair because my hair instantly puffed back up but it did keep it soft and moisturized all day. For daily moisture I recommend using the AS I AM - Doublebutter Cream

Best Leave-In Conditioners for Type 3A Curls
Happy Sunday everyone, As promised, here are the best leave-in conditioners that I have/or continue to use that have worked best on me. Just a reminder that I have type 3A curls and have also thin hair, so it may not work best for everyone. However, I just wanted to share them because they are also pretty underrated and unknown in the industry. aussie - Miracle Curls with Coconut Oil Paraben Free Detangling Milk Treatment The name speaks for itself honestly. This is my FAVORITE leave in conditioner so far. I cannot emphasize the difference in my hair when I used this product and then switched to try other leave-ins. The difference was so overwhelming that I decided to stick with it. You will notice that I use a lot of conditioning that has milk and has detangling properties because part of taking care of our hair is keeping it moistured (NOT WITH PURE OILS) and not allowing it to get too tangled. I will post, in the near future, other tips on how to minimize tangling in curly hair, so stay tuned! I also like that this product has small quantities of Coconut and Jojoba oil. While I NEVER recommend buying and applying pure oil, the fact that these are blended with milk allows for the properties of these oils to work more effectively without clogging your hair shafts. Coconut oil helps PROVIDE more moisture, while Jojoba oil helps SEAL in that moisture. Also, jojoba oil is the oil most similar to out bodies’ natural sebum, so this eases into our hair much more effectively that the other oils. You won’t see these mixtures in common products, so I highly recommend. Carol's Daughter - Hair Milk 4-in-1 ''Combing'' Crème This is another great product that I also use! What I do is use the Miracle Curls right after I wash my hair and style it. I use the Carol’s Daughter product on a daily basis to retouch my hair before going out. It’s really nice to use due to its detangling, styling, defining, and shining properties! And without the need of adding oils, which I like. novex by EMBELLEZE - My Curls Memorizer Leave In A product from Brazil that I really love! I’m definitely thinking of going back to this once the Carol’s Daughter product is completely consumed to see how it works alongside the Miracle Curls. The uniqueness of this product is the use of cranberry which help maintain a healthy and non-irritant scalp with its antioxidant, antibacterial, AND anti-inflammatory properties. And it also has a blend of oils in SMALL quantities that help moisturize and seal that moisture for a healthy hair without clogging the hair shafts. Please let me know how your hair feels if you decide to try these products for yourself! I would love to see if these posts are helping anyone, as that is the goal! Take care!

ALWAYS detangle your curly hair wet!
So when I was a kid, I learned the hard way that you can't brush dry, curly hair. I know it's doable for straight haired-peeps, but curly hair is NOT having it. Even if you NEED to detangle it, but can't shower, it's a good idea to spray it with water. Seriously, little spray bottles of water and conditioner are our friends. My 3A curled hair mom taught me how to brush my hair properly after. I've added my own twists to it, but here's what I do: 🌿 STEPS 🌿 Start with wet hair. As said above! Yes, your hair is more sensitive and elastic wet. But dry brushing disrupts curl patterns. Also, use lukewarm - cold water in the shower! Hot water makes curls more frizzy. Apply generous detangler/conditioner I've found that any conditioner, even non leave-in, can work. If you use leave-in, make sure it's a silicone-free conditioner so it doesn't build up in your hair. My favorite is the SheaMoisture - Manuka Honey & Mafura Oil Intensive Hydration Conditionerwhich I've reviewed as a great, moisturizing product with rice protein and coconut oil. It has no sulfates or silicones, and has helped make my best hair days. Here, I also tried the Carol's Daughter - Black Vanilla Moisture & Shine Hydrating Conditioner ($10.99 for 12 oz) It has a delicious, warm scent, with nourishing biotin and Vitamin B5. The only con is it has some silicones, so this may be better as a wash-out product in the shower. Start with your fingers, and work from the bottom Basically: little by little. Your fingers can work out the biggest tangles better than a wide tooth comb can. Also, brushing from the top of your head tends to break hair there, causing the dreaded frizz halo. Starting from the bottom means less tugging- And even if there is breakage, it's in a section you can trim. Pick gentle tools. Wide tooth combs work out big knots- Whereas fine tooth ones can get stuck in tangles and tug at more hairs. I use the Wet brush - Original Detangler The bristles are gentle and bendy- So they won't snap through stuck hair. Use it only after you’ve work out the biggest knots. The balls at the end of the bristles can get snagged, so this is best for your final touches. Still, with conditioner, it glides through hair like better- And it gently works through subtle tangles so my curl pattern can form neatly again. Use preventative measures. Put your hair in a ponytail while you do sports. Make sure to wash it every week. Don’t neglect conditioning. And to REALLY amp up your curls after brushing, scrunch them with gel! What brushes do you guys recommend for detangling wet curly hair ?

Carol's Daughter - Black Vanil
Carol's Daughter - Black Vanilla Moisture & Shine Hydrating Conditioner I first bought this from Target and it is pretty good. The smell is SO GOOD. I can’t believe how delicious it smells. The product works pretty well and the price is pretty affordable compared to other hair products that would do the same exact thing. This conditioner left my hair soft and smelling SO GOOD. I would rate this a 5/5 because I found no flaws with it.

❤️ Damaged Hair Savior ❤️

My hair is very dry and has split ends; I color and cut my hair once every month or two. By color, I mean I get blonde highlights all over, so basically just get my roots done. I have been coloring my hair since I was in the sixth grade, so since I was about 12 years old. The purpose of this product is to deeply nourish and fortify chemically-processed hair. I already used up a mini of this a while back and was so excited to get it again in a recent Ulta gift with purchase 😍 I haven’t used this one yet since I have one currently in my shower and I’m trying to use it up before I start using this one again. It really helped my ends stay hydrated and not get split ends as quickly. My hair wasn’t as tangly and felt so soft and shiny after I used this ❤️ if you use too much, it can definitely weigh your hair down or make it greasy, so you have to find the perfect medium. I do really enjoy this product because it helps preserve the integrity of my hair and keep it stronger! I would recommend this to those that color their hair or someone who just has really damaged hair. I think this product is worth the price, it takes the smallest amount and you only use it once a week since it’s a deep conditioner! This also went on sale for half off during one of Ulta’s 21 Days of Hair events, so it might again! Carol's Daughter - Monoi Repairing Hair Mask Price: $31.99 for 7.0 oz/200 g Rating: 4/5

I love the carols daughter products and this shampoo definitely lives up to the rest. I love the sudsy lather. My favorite part is the smell. It is easy to use way too much so be very careful because a little goes a long way. This can get a little bit drying for your hair however it will leave it squeaky clean.
