Protecting my dry skin
Products great for your skin barrier! I have dry skin. My skin isn’t the flaky dry unless the conditions are extreme but it’s the so tight I can’t move my face dry even. It doesn’t matter if I use a cleanser or just water it always happens. And when my face gets that dry sometimes products that don’t normally irritate it cause burning. Here are a few of my favorite products that keep my skin moisturized and my skin barrier strong and intact. pixi - Milky Tonic after cleansing when my skin feels particularly dry and tight I like to use this hydrating tonic. It soothes the skin and adds the first of many moisturizers back into the skin Krave - Great Barrier Relief Next I love this product. I don’t use it daily but I use it when my skins barrier has been compromised either from being too dry or from irritation with over exfoliation. It’s so soothing and calming to the skin. REVOLUTION - Cica Cream I was surprised how much I love this cream. Cica is an ingredient in skincare that is wonderful at restoring the skins barrier. This cream is decadently rich. It’s so thick that it’s perfect to top off my routine and keep my moisturizers locked in miss spa - Pep Rally Skin Barrier Repairing Mask I LOVE this mask. It’s not a mask I use daily but I use it when my skin really needs that extra boost. It’s very soothing and cooling and really feels awesome on over exfoliated skin or even sunburnt skin. With copper peptides and vitamin b3 it works at bringing the skin barrier back to life! These are just a few of my favorites! Whether it’s repairing a damaged skin barrier from a product the skin didn’t agree with or keeping dry skin intact and hydrated these all are great picks. They’re all affordable too!

Do YOU multimask? 🤔
I recently discovered the process of mutlimasking! It’s multitasking with your face masks! Honestly I’m surprised it never dawned on me to do this until recently! So just in case you are like me and wayyy behind the times, here’s what you need to know! 💖 What it is and why it’s beneficial : Multimasking is basically tailoring your masking to your specific skin type and needs. Skincare isn’t one size fits all and putting just one mask meant to help one thing doesn’t cut it anymore. With SO MANY choices available, why not choose a mask for your tzone and another for the rest of your face? You can create a customized solution to address your specific skin needs, area by area. How? To make sure the masks are able to what they are supposed to, make sure you cleanse well, and exfoliate. If you have a ton of dead skin cells built up the masks won’t penetrate as well as they should. For oily skin and large pores, look for a purifying or mattifying clay mask and pair it with a cream or gel mask that targets hydration. Apply a thin layer of each mask in the areas needing treatment. Don’t forget your neck as well! Follow directions according to the individual masks. For aging skin w/ breakouts- The major signs of aging – dullness, loss of elasticity, fine lines and wrinkles, dilated pores, we all deal with as we age. To combat competing concerns, choose a variety of masks that suit your needs. Apply the mask that needs to be on the longest first, and then move on to the masks that need less time on the face. If you stage it correctly, you can remove the masks all at once. This can apply to all types of skin. Sensitive, dry, Acne prone, etc. just choose the masks to fit each individual need for your face and stage them according to time on face! Example: In the picture above, I choose to use a matcha pore mask for my oily tzone and for the rest of my face that’s aging and usually a bit dry, I choose an anti-aging moisturizing Manuka honey 🍯 mask. The results were my tzone was less oily amc my pores looked smaller and the rest of my face was soft and supple. You can create a spa experience at home by using multimasking and with covid going on, we all need it! If you do this, what is your favorite mask pairing? ❤️

✅CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser (Normal to oily skin) - gently refreshes and cleanses your skin removing oil without disrupting the skin barrier; 3 essential ceramics, niacinamide, & hyaluronic acid. ✅Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel aloe Vera formula - cleanses and adds moisture to your skin; aloe Vera helps to hydrate your skin and the witch hazel to tighten pores and skin without drying it. I LOVE IT!! My face feels soooo refreshing when using this product. I also use this as a boost throughout the day when I need a quick freshen up from my oily forehead. ❓Bliss Glow & Hudrate day serum - niacinamide & hyaluronic acid serum. These combinations of acids are supposedly used to help reduce pore size which is why I wanted to use it. I feel like this product was decent, but not great. I believe it to work temporarily instead of permanent. ✅Miss Spa Coarse Correct (Blemish banishing serum) - Azelaic acid, hyaluronic acid, aloe leaf juice. Azelaic and hyaluronic acids help reduce inflammation, fight breakout causing bacteria and smooth the texture. This has helped more than what I thought. I needed an alternative to using retinoids because of the pregnancy. I took a chance on this one at Ulta and ended up liking it. ✨✨CeraVe Moisturizing Cream (Normal to dry skin) - MY ABSOLUTE ALL TIME FAVORITE MOISTURIZER THAT I WISH I KNEW ABOUT YEARS AGO!!!!! This moisturizer literally helps all skin types. It is a little thick because it’s a cream (creamy for sure), and I use it everywhere! I started using it for my face as a moisturizer and LOVED IT! It is forever in my skin care regimen because it definitely helped with my forehead acne when I was clearing my skin last year/beginning of this year from my job as a drill sergeant. What really amazed me about this product was during the brutal cold winter months here in Oklahoma, when I shower at night and moisturize my body afterwards, the next morning when I wake up for PT, MY SKIN IS STILL MOISTURIZED AND SMOOTH as if I just put more on! ❤️😩 I was sold! My favorite product to recommend to EVERYONE!

miss spa - Exfoli-YaY! — Pore Purifying Clay Mask I just used this mask for the first time so these are just my first impressions! I like the texture of the mask, it’s a very smooth and soft clay. It kind of smells like actual clay haha. It feels soft applying and doesn’t dry hard and tight on the skin. Rinses off easily and skin feels refreshed and not dried out. Not sure I saw a huge difference in pores but this is just my first impression I need to use it a couple more times.

If your skin is feeling a litt
If your skin is feeling a little dry and yucky then this is the face mask for you. Honestly I bought this cause I didn’t have any face masks for a sleepover so I picked this one out randomly and it turned out to be one of the best masks K have ever used. My skin had always been on the softer side but this mask made my skin feel and look like a baby’s and it has helped me so much. I recommend it for anyone
