Hyaluronic Acid Dupes??
jane iredale - BeautyPrep Hyaluronic Serum Key Ingredients: Hydrolyzed Ulva Lactuca (sea lettuce extract that has skin-soothing and antioxidant properties), Sodium Hyaluronate (salt form of hyaluronic acid that allows the skin to more easily absorb the hydrating benefits because it penetrates deeper), and Glycerin (hydrates the skin). Scent: A slight perfume scent Price Point: $52 for 0.57 oz Experience: The directions say to only use this once a day. Since it has BeautyPrep in the name, I prefer using it in the morning since it makes me think of makeup lol. I use it in between essence and serum (if I use another serum in my routine) or moisturizer (if this is the only serum I use). I’ve been used it for a month or so and didn’t see any special effects (more than any other Hyaluronic Acid serum). The serum is lightweight and seamlessly absorbs into my skin and makes it feel hydrated and not sticky. The pump style packaging is very convenient and the glass packaging is very luxe. It’s a nice product, plus I like the added antioxidant properties. . The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Key Ingredients: Next-generation Hyaluronic Acid Polymer (according to their page on Sephora, it’s a cross-linked form of hyaluronic acid that enhances the delivery of HA actives and helps to support water density) and Vitamin B5 (hydrates). Scent: None Price Point: $6.80 for 1 oz Experience: Whenever I use this product, I use it both day and nights. I use it in between essence and serum (if I use another serum in my routine) or moisturizer (if this is the only serum I use). I’ve tried using this with and without essence, without using other serum, and various moisturizers, it is such a picky product. It pills so badly with a good amount of products I’ve tried it with. It also can leave the skin feeling sticky if you use too much. It’s also hard to control the amount of serum that comes out of the dropper because it’s so runny and easily splashed out (even when you don’t squeeze the topper for it to come out, it’s so runny it comes out on it’s own). Once you find the perfect ratio and products to make it work, it’s a nice product and does provide a good amount of hydration. Once I got the perfect routine for this to work, I noticed an improvement in a week! But not sure if it’s honestly worth the hassle of trying it with all these various products to make it work. . Overall: I’m meh about both of these products honestly. I do enjoy the Jane Iredale product, but in no way do I think it’s worth $52. Heck, I don’t even think it’d be worth it on sale for half off (I got it free as a gift with purchase from Ulta). The Ordinary HA serum is very finicky and the packaging is difficult. I would recommend the Good Molecules HA serum over these, but if I had to choose between these two, I would suggest trying the Ordinary one because it’s more affordable and can play around with which products to pair it with to make it work.

HA Serum Face-Off
Hyaluronic acid (HA) is naturally made by the body and the largest concentration of it in the body is found in the skin. This makes it a good product for even sensitive skin since there’s a low chance of irritation. HA is known for its moisturizing abilities because it draws moisture to the skin for long-lasting hydration. The makes skin appear smooth, supple, and well-hydrated and defends against dehydration over time. It causes the skin to look smoother and plumper because it replenishes the top layers of the skin (since the molecular size is so big, it sits on top of the skin and hydrated the top layers of the skin). HA is also a good layering serum before using other skincare items. I enjoy this ingredient so much because I have noticed a significant increase in the hydration of my skin and not getting dry spots as often, and an increase in the tone and smoothness of my skin because my acne scars on my cheeks have became less noticeable since introducing this ingredient. . GOOD MOLECULES - Hyaluronic Acid Serum contains three types of HA with different molecular weights, which allows it to penetrate multiple layers of the skin. This serum also contains Vitamin B5, which is a water-soluble vitamin that hydrated and nourishes the skin. The advantages of this product are the price (only $6 for 1 oz 😱🤩), the texture of this is so lightweight and easily sinks into the skin (small wait time between applying my next skincare item), and the instant feeling of hydration and relief I feel after applying this product (my skin immediately soaks it up and looks plumper and healthier). . The jane iredale - BeautyPrep Hyaluronic Serum doesn’t specify any special ingredients they added to their serum besides the basic benefits of HA. Honestly, I only see cons with this one 🙈 the price is CRAZY compared to the Good Molecules one ($52 for 0.57 oz 💀), has a thicker consistency that specifies only to use 1-2 pumps and to be used only once a day. My face does feel somewhat hydrated when I first apply this, but nothing anything different than the other HA serum 🤷🏻‍♀️. It also feels more tacky and I can feel that I have it on. . Overall, the cheaper alternative is definitely the winner for me! Why pay more for the same instant feeling when applying it? I also like that the Good Molecules one can be used morning AND night (versus the once a day for the Jane Iredale). I will only repurchase the Good Molecules one. Using this day and night, it lasted me about a month to two months and for $6, I can afford that! Even with spreading out the other serum to once a day, it’s still half the size of the Good Molecules and way more expensive.

Omg this lip balm with SPF that really works!
The Jane Iredale Lip Drink in Crush is among my all time favorite lip balms. It works and the color is perfect. I’m actually going to have to pull these all out of my bag and show them off. I just thought I needed to show off how the slight pop of color really lights up the face. My lips have been so dry this week. I almost never need chapstick but when I do it’s this one! The spf is great. Edible zinc, and I adore how creamy and non sticky Lip Drink goes on. The colorless color is my boyfriends favorite product. Don’t tell him the silver tube is for chicks! 😉 It has excellent staying power and smells and tastes great. Kind of peppermint meets a light fruit. 😋 Super natural tasting. Pick one up! I’ll be sure to show off all the colors soon. 👍 #cheriecteator jane iredale - LipDrink Lip Balm

Tint and protect your lips
Jane Iredale is known as being a clean line, which I know people are hyper aware of these days. I love this lip color because not only is it a super hydrating lip color but it also has SPF 15. It is marketed to protect and hydrate which is really does! It glides on smooth and my hair never gets stuck in it from the wind, which I HATE. I bought this about 3 months ago and still have so much left, I just love it because it is so easy to apply and the color is beautiful. I wish it had a little more pigment but that is my only complaint. It is not anymore than a lipstick from Sephora and it will last you a while so I would definitely repurchase. jane iredale - LipDrink Lip Balm

Reef safe, non chemical, mineral SPF to love!
Reef safe, non chemical, mineral SPF to love!
I’m always on the hunt for a new tinted moisturizing sunscreen that checks off my boxes: • Broad spectrum but also protects from UVA-1 • Reef safe • Mineral based • Won’t break me out • Looks good on my fair skin • Doesn’t feel thick and make me sweat 😓 • Smells ok • A little tinted coverage would be great • Assists with hydration For most of the year I use Dream Tint by Jane Iredale, but during the colder months I need something with more hydration. It’s a fine line though! I don’t want something heavy and gunky. 🙅‍♀️ I really love all the Epicuren ☀️🧴 sunscreens so when this new tinted all mineral one was launched I jumped on it! So glad I did. 🥰 As with all their other SPF’s this one feels incredible. It goes on rich and creamy and as I rub it in the product just melts into the skin and blends perfectly. My only complaint is with the price tag. I’m used to expensive products and paying $$$ for quality. This still felt a little intense for the tiny tube. 1oz is $84!😳 I grab this one on sale so it felt like a good deal. I REALLY like it and as long as I can get it for $60 or so I think it’s worth it. #cheriecreator epicuren DISCOVERY - Defend and Balance Tinted Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50 jane iredale - Dream Tint Moisture Tint Broad Spectrum SPF 15

Feeding My Skin healed It From Within
Feeding My Skin healed It From Within
I had thyroid cancer twice. Yeah as if one time wasn’t enough I got it back again and had to do radiation again. The thing is not having a thyroid and the treatment for thyroid cancer makes you DRY. Like dry like the desert 🌵💨 ☀️ My hair for brittle and started to break off. My fingers started to crack. My skin was itchy all the time and although I still had acne (yeah that didn’t go away 🙄) I was an oil slick from being super DRY!!! But I’m an esthetician so I dig deep into research and discovered that high quality fish oil is supposed to help this. Well I love all things Jane Iredale and trust them so I picked up a batch of their Skin Omegas. Within 7 days my life was already improving. Just look at the picture. That’s 1,3,5,7 days. By the end of the month I was a believer. My fingertips were the easiest to see the changes in. But my hair got fuller and the texture changed. It was softer and glossier. My skin started to get less oily. By two weeks it had calmed down and gone back to its regular levels of oil production. I had this wonderful internal glow now that people commented on. My nails were like freaking talons! So strong and firm for me. I’ve always had bad nails and now they didn’t just peel and break off all the time. I’ve been using the Jane Iredale Skin Omegas (I use like ALL of their supplements now!) for 3 years now and my skin is the best it’s ever been. If you can only take one of the Jane Iredale supplements I’d say take this one. They are all incredible and worth the price tag. I had tried other fish oil and supplements in the past. None had worked this well. No fish taste. No rules except take with a meal. Super easy. Sustainably fished. #cheriecreator #supplements #skinfood jane iredale - Skin Omegas
