Didn’t work for me :(
CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin 🌺 as a combo/oily girl, I was excited to try this cleanser. The first few weeks were great. No issues. I love the consistency of this cleanser and that it has no fragrance. It was simple and got the job done. Sadly, after a few weeks my skin started to get really irritated. Red patches around the cheeks and especially around the eyelids. I narrowed it down to this product. I even double checked after to make sure it was this product, eliminating everything except moisturizer. 🌺 i wish this worked out but it’s a no for me

Worth the hype? Drunk Elephant 🐘
🐘Honestly I’m not impressed. These products are talked about all the time and I wanted to love them but they just seemed ordinary and over priced! 👎 🟣DRUNK ELEPHANT - Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser It’s a fine cleanser but nothing special... just an average second cleanser 💰 $32 for 5oz is ridiculous! 🧼instead try CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin $10.99 for 12oz— it doesn’t the same thing and you can get it at Target 🟣DRUNK ELEPHANT - Protini Polypeptide Moisturizer Again, it’s an average fragrance-free moisturizer 💰$68 for 1.7oz— no thanks!!! 🧴 instead try VERSED - SKIN SOAK Rich Moisture Cream $18 for 1.5 oz —to me, they do exactly the same thing, hydrate my skin without irritation 🟣DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Resurfacing Night Serum So I like this product the most but I’m not in love with it either. For how expensive it is I didn’t see amazing results and there are so many other chemical exfoliators out there for less!!! 💰$90 for 1oz Instead save your money and try any other chemical exfoliator!!! Some examples include: VERSED - THE SHORTCUT Overnight Facial Peel 🙌 this one has glycolic and lactic acid and is $20 pixi - Skintreats Glow Tonic Exfoliating Toner $15 and is also a glycolic treatment 🗣bottom line: read ingredient lists and see if it’s worth the big bucks 💵 or find similar products 🐘 if you love these products let me know why! What else should I try from Drunk Elephant?

Possible Nighttime Routine? 🤷🏾‍♀️❓
I did some research AGAIN on a proper PM skincare regimen and I feel enlightened, AGAIN 🙄, on what I should be doing for my skin. Things learned: 1. PM skin regimens will have a few more added steps than your daytime routine 2. Use serums/face oils before cream or lotion moisturizer (depending on the oil) 3. Vitamin C must be my “go-to” for my acne prone skin🤷🏾‍♀️ 4. LAYERING IS CRUCIAL!!!!! Tonight I did the same thing I did earlier today with cleansing my face; African black soap, acne treatment with Clear Start by Dermalogica, CeraVe moisturizing cream, and misted my face with Mario Badescu. Now, upon doing my research I learned that layering your products is extremely vital to positive results ❤️, just like hair! (I looovvvveeeeeee hair care 😬) Here is exactly the order I LAYERED my products⬇️ 1. African black soap 2. Glycolic Toner 3. Eye cream 4. Acne treatment 5. Acne serum 6. Hydrating mist 7. Moisturizer 8. Face oil I am going to try this for 1 week and monitor the progress. I’ve never had a specific night routine. I typically do the same thing in the evening that I do in the mornings for my face. So, here’s to hoping for better results 🥂

Cerave Moisturizing Cream
All the good stuff in one big tub! ____ ❄️ 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀: This moisturizing cream hydrates skin at the same time help restore the skin's protective barrier. It was developed with dermatologists with dry and very dry skin in mind. This cream can be used for both body and face. It is very rich but non-greasy at the same time. It has cerammides and hyaluronic acid. It is non-comedogenic, oil-free, hypoallergenic, fragrance-free and suitable for sensitive skin. If your skin's protective barrier has been compromised, then this product is ideal. ____ ❄️ 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲/𝗢𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻: This moisturizer is very suitable for my very dry skin. It prefer rich and creamy moisturizers because I feel like they hydrate and moisturize my skin the most as compared to water creams or gel creams. At first I thought it was breaking me out since new pimples came out after days of using this so I had to do a process of elimination in which I stopped using new products that I incorporated in my daily routine. This was the first to go and after some time I realized that it was my sunscreen breaking me out. So I went back to using Cerave and boy did I miss using it! It soothes, moisturizes and hydrates my skin. I love how it goes on my skin. I tend to use this one just in the night time and I have another creamy but light moisturizer in the morning. But I started going by what my skin needs and if ever I feel very dry in the morning, then I use this one instead of my lighter one. I highly recommend for dry, very dry sensitive skin!

I’d rather get coal than...
CeraVe - Travel Size Hydrating Face Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skin I wanted to love this so bad. CeraVe hasn’t disappointed me in the past, and has some super effective products up its sleeves. But, after a month of using it, I couldn’t bring myself to fall for this one. The product targets those with “normal to dry skin,” most significant of its claims being that it “restores the protective skin barrier” using three essential ceramides and hyaluronic acid (helps maintain skin’s moisture). The product itself is a cream that doesn’t lather well - rather, the water seems to wash it away, no matter how big the dollop. I can’t lie - it does cleanse the skin (not so good with makeup though), but what outweighs that pro is the stripped, dry, tight feeling I’m left with. I know that’s where moisturizer comes in to save the day, but I was pretty disappointed considering it’s meant to “hydrate.” My skin has retained its beadiness and bumpiness due to it being so dry. In the end, I would not recommend this cleanser to anyone.

Cerave Hydrating Cleanser
I’d rather get coal than CeraVe - Travel Size Hydrating Face Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skin i bought this travel size product to keep in my travel bag for when i travel for work mostly. The first time i used this my skin BURNED after. I tend to have sensitive skin, but i am not sure what ingredient in this product made my face have a burning sensation like that. I’ve used a few times since and i still tend to get the same reaction. I do keep in my travel bag still in case i ever need a face wash, but i definitely prefer ANY other facial cleanser than this one. I also notice my face doesn’t really feel hydrated after, but maybe a little dry. The one thing i will say is this product did remove all of my makeup and is fragrance free, however it doesn’t lather up like other cleansers I’ve used. It also seems to have more of a cream-like texture. I personally would not buy this product again due to how I reacted to it but this product could work well for others as i know of many people who use this brand.

🌼Review: Epionce Renewal Eye Cream
🌼This claims to be a soothing, strengthening eye cream for all skin types. It’s supposed to diminish dark circles, fine lines and wrinkles, smooth toughness. 🌼Some key ingredients are: date fruit extract, meadowfoam and flax seed complex which help hydrate and nourish. And rose hip extract to help brighten the under eye. It also contains shea butter, olive oil, beeswax, hyaluronic acid, malic acid, antioxidants and AHA’s 🗣 I like this eye cream, don’t get me wrong, it really helped to hydrate my dry under eyes! I can’t speak on the fine lines, dark circle component because I have neither but I can say if your fine lines are hydrated they look plumper and less noticeable! But a lot of those ingredients (HA, beeswax, olive oil, and shea butter) are super cheap! And this eye cream is super expensive—it’s not worth the price tag! 💰$74 for 0.53oz!!! 🗣I’m a believer that eye cream is NOT necessary! Any gentle moisturizer or cream would do! Eye cream is super expensive moisturizer in tiny packages! But if you really want a dedicated eye cream opt for a cheaper one that has good ingredients! I’ve heard a lot of good things about the CeraVe - Eye Repair Cream

Eye repair
My dermatologist recommended this to me, after I developed puffiness under my eyes, from not being able to sleep well. For me, personally, it works really well! I'm very careful to pat it gently into my under eye area. I let it absorb, after double cleansing (oil cleanser, then water base), exfoliation, toner then I apply the eye cream. Then serum and moisturizer. (Sometimes sunscreen if applicable for the day.) I highly recommended utilizing it in your skincare regimen if you just have puffy eyes. CeraVe - Eye Repair Cream

Best cleanser for acne
This cleanser is amazing for people with acne. The ingredients are amazing. The active ingredient is salicylic acid which a BHA that helps with acne by clearing out pores. I love this cleanser because it does not leave me with a tight feeling. If you are searching for a cleanser to help with acne this is the one.CeraVe - Renewing SA Cleanser For Normal Skin

HOLI FROG - Tashmoo Water Lily Nourishing Milky Wash HOLI FROG - Shasta AHA Refining Acid Face Wash CeraVe - Renewing SA Cleanser For Normal Skin CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin I love all of these! ✨ HOLI FROG Tashmoo: A soothing nonfoaming cleanser. Great for the mornings! I love this because it’s very gentle yet effective at cleansing. It leaves my skin feeling clean yet moisturized. I wouldn’t use this after a full day of wearing makeuo just because I have other cleansers that work better for that. Wins the superlative because it’s great on sensitive skin HOLI FROG Shasta AHA: A nonfoaming cleanser with chemical exfoliating AHA’s. I love how this cleanser is gentle yet includes AHA ingredients to exfoliate the skin. It doesnt feel too harsh. This would be great for people who want to start using exfoliating products because of its nourishing properties. I use this at night almost everyday! It’s gentle enough for daily use and I still see great results with this. Wins the superlative because it’s a great everyday cleanser for every skin type! CeraVe Foaming: A gentle cleanser for oily skin types. This is great because it feels really effective at removing oils while not stripping the skin. It has niacinamide which is a great ingredient for evening the skin and removing oil. I always loved how I can use this everyday day and night without experiencing tightness or dehydration. I would recommend this for anyone with normal to oily skin types that want a fragrance free option with other beneficial ingredients. This wins the oily skin award because it’s in my opinion one of the most effective cleansers out there for oily skin types. CeraVe Renewing SA: A foaming, fragrance free cleanser with salicylic acid. I love how this cleanser foams up because it feels like a deep clean! The addition of salicylic acid feels amazing on the skin and I really feel smoothing effects with this cleanser. This would be great for people with acne or acne-prone skin!

💟 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐧 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 💟⁣ ⁣ 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐦𝐬 𝐭𝐨: visibly brighten & help restore skin barrier. Help reduce the appearance of fine lines and provide intense hydration. ⁣ ⁣ 𝐤𝐞𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 : biomimetic peptides, niacinamide, ceramides, hyaluronic acid, shea butter and soybean sterols ⁣ ⁣ Hands down. One of my top cerave products! ⁣ This is one of the few thick occlusives I don’t get breakouts from. I think it’s just fabulous and i’ve only been seeing positive results from using it. This is a perfect moisturizing cream if you’re on tretinoin like me. Works great especially on dry patches. It is balmy and thick but it spreads well. It feels a lil greasy on my t-zone after applying but does fade overnight. This also still layers well with other products. I don’t have fine lines or wrinkles but this leaves the skin sealed with moisture throughout the night and makes the skin looking rejuvenated when you wake up in the morning. I see realistic results from this and I think it would deliver what it claims after a period of time. I believe mature skin would benefit the most from this product 👍🏻⁣ ⁣ - on some nights I would use this on my eye area only. this makes a great non-irritating eye cream! 💜 ⁣ ⁣ 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐞: $13.98 for 1.7 oz on amazon. (quantity is like half of the bottle’s size only) ⁣ 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion
I received this cutie sample from the brand at a Toronto beauty blogger meet up! This is a lightweight, oil free, non greasy lotion. Notable ingredients: 3 ceramides, hyaluronic acid I like using this for my hands! My hands felt very moisturized, it did not feel greasy, the lotion was easily absorbed into my skin. It did not feel like it was just sitting on top of my hands. When applied at night my hands still felt moisturized in the morning. I like that this lotion is multi purpose! CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin 💕SKINTYPE: oily, acne-prone, texture at times 💕SKINTONE: medium warm 💕HAIRTYPE: 1a, dark brown colour, oily scalp

Moisturizer for sensitive skin
Cerave Daily Moisturizing Lotion is the perfect day moisturizer for the person who has sensitive, normal – dry skin. I have always heard great things about the brand Cerave, so when I was in the market for a new moisturizer (about 5 months ago) I decided to try this one because of their claims. Here is a little background on the product: “Developed with dermatologists, CeraVe Daily Moisturizing Lotion has a unique, lightweight formula that provides 24-hour hydration and helps restore the protective skin barrier with three essential ceramides (1,3,6-II). The formula also contains hyaluronic acid to help retain skin’s natural moisture. Key points: • With ceramides 1, 3 and 6-II • Hyaluronic acid to help retain skin's moisture • Oil-free, Non-comedogenic • Fragrance-free • Gentle, non-irritating formula” This product works beautifully on sensitive skin. It has a lightweight/silky texture that easily absorbs into the skin. I love this moisturizer because it has no fragrance and does not make my skin feel overly hydrated. My husband also uses this moisturizer because he has very sensitive/acne prone skin and it works magic for him. I would definitely recommend this product to you if you are looking for a moisturizer because it is a reliable and affordable moisturizer. The cost of this product is $9-$12, depending on where you buy it from. It is 100% worth the price. You can find the Cerave Daliy Moisturizing Lotion at Walmart, Target, CVS, etc. Overall, this product has my stamp of approval and a 5/5 star rating from me.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin

My journey #1
My journey #1
I’ve struggled with acne-prone skin my entire life. I’ve tried just about everything under the sun, and nothing has worked. However, I have finally made a breakthrough with my skin care. The first picture is my a couple of months ago, and the second picture is me today. As you can see, my redness has gone way down, and my skin is feeling much better. I use CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin as a face wash every day, and then SKYORGANICS - Organic Rosewater Facial Mist and C&C by Clean & Clear - Dual Action Moisturizer, Salicylic Acid Acne Medication . Once or twice a day, depending on my skin’s need. My skin is super sensitive, but these products are gentle and have made my skin feel really soft.
