Call me obsessed! Aveeno Positively Radiant
So I have been using both the Aveeno - Positively Radiant Night Cream and the Aveeno - Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 for a couple of months and I am officially hooked on this collection. Especially the night cream. I am a combination skin type! I honestly don’t use the daytime moisturizer as much because I prefer more of a water based gel moisturizer especially on days that I have on makeup. But it is usually my go to on my outdoor makeup free days! Especially love the fact that it has SPF but doesn’t leave a huge white cast on my skin🙌🏾. Now the night cream though.. that’s a whole other story. This is the only night cream I used for MONTHS since I discovered it. I finally ran out of this along with some of my other items, hence I didn’t use it for a few days and everything about my skin just felt off. I finally got it back and my skin bounced right back! I am so glad! The key claims that I found to be true Both Extremely moisturizing Leaves skin feeling fresh and plump Leaves skin looking bright and radiant Lightweight and Fast absorbing Improves skin texture Balances the skin Would definitely recommend!

Hey Lovelies!!
First post here!! I’ve dedicated my past few months to researching products that best fit my skin type (and were definitely not breaking the bank) and figured it was time to share some of my favorite products with you! Here we go!! (Note: I have pretty normal skin but it tends to run on a more dry side so dry combination skin type is the kind of skin these items seem to work on) ✨1. I start off with the Aveeno - Clear Complexion Foaming Cleanser and wash my face thoroughly so that I have a clean base to start off with. This wash has salicylic acid in it to help with breakouts and even out your skin, a very powerful combo when paired with glycolic acid ;)) ✨2. I then go in with the The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution I put about the size of a nickel of this amazing toner on a cotton pad at cleanse my whole face over. It pairs amazing with the salicylic acid that is inside of the Aveeno face wash I initially go in with. When they work together the AHA removes the clogging skin cells and the BHA (salicylic acid) is able to cleanse your pores properly. I love this toner because while it is strong it gets the job done. The only issue with it is that you have to be careful with which acids you decide to pair it with and it is a toner you should not use more than 2-3 times a week due to how strong and effective it is. You wouldn’t want it to over purge your skin. ✨3. After I finish toning I do go in with the GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Serum I LOVE this product. It’s main goal is to minimize pores and refine your texture. It does exactly that and carries out an abundance of other amazing things too like covering pigmentation and reducing redness. As long as you incorporate this properly into your routine and are careful with the acids you use it with, everything goes on lightweight and leaves you feeling refreshed. Although in some cases, depending on your skin type, it could leave you looking flushed or adding redness to your skin if you don’t research your acids properly. In my routine, this was a lifesaver and completely transformed my skin texture and left my nose area almost pore-less. ✨4. The most IMPORTANT step in my opinion. Moisturizing. I use the CLINIQUE - Smart Broad Spectrum SPF 15 Custom-Repair Moisturizer for Dry Combination Skin This is my go-to nighttime moisturizer. It leaves your skin feeling smooth and like all moisture and products are locked in. When using products like mentioned above moisturizer is the key component to success. I love this moisturizer because it targets key areas where your skin might need a little pick me up and is there when you need it. It is oil free and super lightweight. Overall, one of my favorite moisturizers ever. Clinique hardly misses :) ! (Final note: make sure to do your research before decided to mix any acids or products together and ensure that you aren’t allergic to anything!)

New Goodies!!
Super excited to add these new products to my skincare routine! so far, i’ve only used the aveeno ultra calming cleanser (which lathers SOOOOO nicely) and differin gel as a spot treatment (you’re supposed use on the entire face) but i used as a spot treatment anyway and overnight, the whiteheads that i was recently worrying about are all dried up! this shit is great! for anyone who uses retinols/ retinoids like myself, I would highly reccommend cleansing your face with micellar water during the middle of the day if you usually wear no makeup but if not, i would use before doing your nighttime skincare routine. it’s helped pick up a lot of dead skin cells, dirt and oil that i could’ve missed while washing! can’t wait to update you guys on my skincare journey and mega thank you to @D.Bennett for recommending some of these products to me!! you’re a god send 🥺

Steady repurchase
I’ve purchased this daily gentle exfoliating cleanser a few times, and I keep going back to it. I’ve been researching hyperpigmentation, and I read that soy is great at fading dark spots. Which explains why I love the way this cleanser evens my skin tone and brightens my complexion. It’s got a creamy but grainy texture, so it gently exfoliates. And it’s safe to use everyday. It claims: gently exfoliates while it cleanses helps improve skin tone, texture, & clarity leaves skin soft, smooth, & even looking reveals brighter more radiant skin This is my current go-to cleanser. And for about $7, I definitely think it’s worth it. Aveeno - Positively Radiant Skin Brightening Daily Scrub

Adding Bio Oil to my routine 🧐
So, I’ve been doing a lot of research and reading tons of reviews on all kinds of products. I tried the Skin Journey scan, and my results were “very good.” It was shown that I have large pores and dark spots; Everything else was minimal. I started reading up on hyperpigmentation. Three really good things for dark spots are Vitamin A, Vitamin C, and Soy. I’ve owned this bottle of Bio Oil for a couple of months now. I used it a few times on my face, and honestly forgot about it. After doing some more research, I found that it’s got a lot of ingredients that are good for hyperpigmentation, such as Vitamin A & Soy. I already use a vitamin C serum, which also works really well with vitamin A. I’m incorporating Bio Oil back into my skincare routine. Last night, I cleansed, toned, applied my vitamin C serum, then the bio oil. Afterwards, my moisturizer, eye cream, & glow serum with hyaluronic acid. Apparently, when using bio oil, it takes a while to see results. I’m deciding to only use it during my PM routine as of right now. I’ll keep posting updates!

AM routine 🔆
1. Aveeno - Clear Complexion Foaming Cleanser I start my morning routine with this water based cleanser that also contains salicylic acid. 2. THAYERS - Rose Petal Facial Mist To apply this toner, I pour a little bit on a cotton pad and pat my face down. This product contains phenoxyethanol which has antibacterial properties, rose water which helps with redness, and witch hazel that calms the skin. *** I’ve also used this product to soothe sunburn*** 3. bliss - Glow & Hydrate Day Serum For step 3 in my routine, I alternate serums every other day. One day I use the Glow and Hydrate serum that contains niacinamide (vitamin B3) and hyaluronic acid (HA). This product hydrates my skin very well leaving a “dewy” glow to my face. I originally bought this to help reduce my pores however, I have not noticed any pore reduction, yet. DERMA•E - Vitamin C Concentrated Serum On the days I do not use the Glow and Hydrate serum, I use this vitamin C serum to brighten my skin. This also contains HA for hydrating my skin. I’ve used this serum for about a year and I love it! 4. Aveeno - Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer SPF 15 My daily moisturizer contains 15 SPF. Although I like this product, I think I am going to start using the Positively Radiant moisturizer that contains 30 SPF for extra protection from the sun. 5. MARIO BADESCU - Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater As you can see, I’m running low on my facial spray. This also contains Rose water to help with redness, but I mostly just like the cool, misty feeling at the end of my face routine. I will definitely be purchasing more soon! 6. PAULA'S CHOICE - Retinol Skin Smoothing Body Treatment After my face routine, I use this retinol treatment mostly on my thighs and bottom to firm and smooth my skin. Occasionally I will use this on my arms and stomach. After a few months of using this daily, I’ve noticed my thighs are smoother, it’s really boosted my confidence in a bathing suit.

Finally, a skin care routine I can depend on!
I have a normal skin type until I had my MIRENA (Hormonal IUD). My skin is doing fine first couple of months then suddenly I start to notice I have skin irritation on my cheeks, it feels rough like it needs to be peeled and then I started having this very dry, dull, skin, pores were so enlarged i had to pop the whiteheads almost every other day coz it feels so rough and I thought it’s already worse. But the worst is yet to come. Couple days later I started having breakouts and I also start to freakout too! Been ordering couple of products but my skin doesnt approve so I was switching and switching skin care every now and then but nope, none worked and it’s getting worseeeeee. So, one day as I was searching for “skin care” I found The Ordinary products. I have heard about this and I didnt mind it. Coz it’s expensive in amazon so.. yeah, but as I was reading reviews and comments about it I was convinced that I think I should give this one a try. I stopped the cream that I have been using. And just continued to cleanse, tone and moisturize while waiting for these babies to arrive. Its been a week since i started using these babies and woaaaaaah! I can see my face really changing when it comes to texture, I mean its not oily shiny, but it is shiny. ( If you know what I mean) the pores? It’s still there but yeah, I know it will take some time. And so far no major breakouts, just noticed like 2 new pimples in 1 week. Im not worried coz I know these products will cause purging, I guess I’m lucky enough to have only 2 lol. Anyways, Im so happy, It worked for me, I highly recommend these products. And I will stick to these babies from now on! Ps. What worked on me, may not work on you. We have totally different skin types. I did a lot of research and reading before using these products so, I think you should also do it before you decide to try it. Andddd, I’m no skin care expert, this all from personal experience. Will add more photos soon for my skin progress!

Some interesting Aveeno finds for Sensitive skin
I don't always go for high end cleansers and this is the reason I always look for some good affordable options. I wanted to try out @aveeno Positively Radiant line. I have been using their Positively radiant brightening cleanser since months, it never irritated my skin or broke me out. And the recent find from that line is 60 second in shower facial! I know a lot of people love @aveeno products but let's dive into how these two perform on skin and are they actually good? @aveeno Positively radiant cleanserAveeno - Positively Radiant Brightening Facial Cleanser is one of the first drugstore cleansers I instantly picked because it had decent description of what it does. And luckily it's one of the cleansers I didn't seem to find irritating, stripping or breaking my skin out. It's quite gentle gel cleanser that lathers nicely and I enjoy using it in the morning. The ingredients list of this isn't so impressive. It has Soy protein extract but that's pretty low on the list. Apart fron that it has fragrance and mica again on mid level in the list. This cleanser doesn't have any actives that work in exfoliating or brightening skin but the tiny shimmer particles (mica) gives it that radiant look and leaves that finish on skin, leading it to making your skin glow. However it has Titanium dioxide, an ingredient generally added to sunscreens to give protection from UVB and it's good for preventing hyperpigmentation caused in sun exposure. But, It's the last on ingredients list. I didn't seem to like the ingredients list as much but it definitely doesn't do a bad job in good cleansing. This is one example why ingredients list isn't the only thing that counts when it comes to skincare especially cleansers. It has mild/average fragrance that can be a problem for some skin types. But I don't mind a little bit of fragrance in my wash off treatments. The texture is lightweight gel which lathers when comes in contact with water. The second product - 60 Second in shower facial Aveeno - Positively Radiant 60 Second In-Shower Facial Cleanser is rather an interesting product. I am recently using it in my shower and loving the performance. This doesn't irritate skin, doesn't tingle or burn. It gently exfoliates skin with soft micro grains added in the formula and it has Glycolic acid which chemically exfoliates skin. It is made with moisture-rich soy, lemon-peel extract, kaolin clay and glycolic acid, this facial works with the steam of your shower to transform your skin from dull to radiant. This works in just a minute that's the best part about it. This has slightly granular texture which helps in gentle Exfoliating skin before washing it off. These are great affordable products if you want to try something new.

Exfoliation 101 - Let's burst some myths!
Let's get to know about exfoliants more! No matter if you're a skincare junkie, expert or just a beginner, skin exfoliation can be very tricky and confusing and most of the mainstream skin advices can be minimally backed by science and geared towards selling the product or giving you false information. That's how skincare myths are formed. I'm talking about some pretty known myths about Exfoliation : ✨Like, Physical exfoliants/scrubs are bad for your skin and they cause micro-tears that lead to infection or they're worse than Chemical exfoliants: Physical exfoliants that contain irregular granular sizes and shapes are definitely going to irritate your skin. But if you're a well-experienced skincare person or someone who knows how to handle gentle, small granular exfoliants well like professionals, in such hands it can be a very effective. Take Micro-dermabrasion or Dermaplaning for instance. If you haven't done it before it's likely to cause you some irritation, I wouldn't say damage as it's a truly strong and deep term to use. Our skin can naturally heal itself to a large degree, that self-healing capability can be overstressed with exogenous (outside/physical) factors and sometimes Indogenous (inner) factors such as your ethnicity, genetics and some skin conditions like dermititis, rosacea or psoriasis. So, my point here is, the myth that only physical exfoliators cause any damage to our skin is incorrect. On top of that, physical exfoliants cause micro-tears is a far stretched myth that doesn't have enough scientific evidence to support. The thing about it is anything harsh on our skin is going to cause inflammation and redness but chemical exfoliants can cause the same if done too much. For our skin to break or tear and get a cut there needs to be a lot of pressure and sharpness to the object. The scrubs don't necessarily tear/cut our skin unless you're rubbing it too harsh or with a lot of pressure and over-doing it. Chemical exfoliators can overstress and irritate our skin at the same degree as well, if overdone. Damage is a strong word for any skincare regimen that is backed by science. It's a fairly vast topic to discuss here but here's the crux of the topic that I'm trying to highlight. Not over-exfoliating is the only key to keep our skin healthy and non-irritated. Be it physical or chemical exfoliants. We need some of the dead skin cells on our Stratum Corneum. Meaning, we should let our Stratum Corneum have a layer of some dead skin cells along with it's biome. The diverse yet integrated functions of the SC collectively serve to detect, protect, respond, and/or adapt against several exogenous factors. Now, why I like or majority of people like chemical exfoliants is because they seem to be hustle free, you apply a thin layer and leave it overnight or for few minutes and it thins down our Stratum Corneum that is the deal skin cells on our skin as well as penetrates deeper in skin and decongests it. But for many people chemical exfoliants can be quite intimidating and if they like to do manual Exfoliation it's totally fine as long as they're not putting a lot of pressure and overdoing it. ✔️👍 I like both physical and chemical exfoliation. I use these chemical facial peeling solutions or masks as well as gentle scrubs to take care of my dead skin. These are some of the exfoliators I use. These are all types of exfoliators, Physical - Scrubs, Peeling gels Chemical - Facial AHA, BHA masks, solutions, in shower facials These are the ones I don't find so attractive for the price: Scrubs: 1. @avantskincare Gentle Rose beautifying facial exfoliant 114$avant - Gentle Rose Beautifying Face Exfoliant The ones I like: Scrubs: 1. @skinandco Face gommage 26$SKIN&CO - Truffle Therapy Gommage Peeling gels: 1. @wishfulskin Yo Glow enzyme scurb 39$HUDA BEAUTY - Yo Glow Facial Enzyme Scrub 2. @saturdayskin Rub-a-dub Refining peel gel 28$SATURDAY SKIN - Rub-A-Dub Refining Peel Gel Instant Facial masks/solutions: 1. @theordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution 7.20$The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution 2. @olehenriksen PHAT Glow Facial™ Mask 50$OLE HENRIKSEN - PHAT Glow Facial Mask 3. @aveeno POSITIVELY RADIANT® 60 Second In-Shower Facial Aveeno - Positively Radiant 60 Second In-Shower Facial Cleanser

Drugstore wins this time🤘🏻🤘🏼🤘🏽🤘🏾🤘🏿
For a dry skin, it is necessary to have glycerin in the product! This ingredient is colorless, smells a little sweet, and looks like a viscous liquid. If glycerin is rubbed on the skin, it can form a protective film on the skin to lock in moisture. I tried two products, one is bought from Walmart, it is Aveeno Eczema Therapy. The other from the Sephora, Kiehl’s Crème D’elegance Repairateur. Both of products contain a large percentage of glycerin. Aveeno - Eczema Therapy Moisturizing Cream Kiehl's - Creme d'Elegance Repairateur Price: Aveeno Eczema Therapy: $14.99,7.3oz Kiehl’s Crème D’elegance Repairateur: $32,50ml Texture: Aveeno Eczema Therapy White color, creamy texture, high density. After wiping, pat gently until all are absorbed by the skin. Kiehl’s Crème D’elegance Repairteur Yellow color, texture like soft cream, but not as sticky as Aveeno. Feelings: The product has an oat logo on the packaging. This product contains oat prebiotics and ceramide three oat essence. These ingredients can relieve dry, irritated skin conditions. As I have said before, this texture is more thick than KIEHL’S, so I can feel a little greasy when I use it. But the absorption is very fast, and it can be used every day. KIEHL’S cream is suitable for people with very dry and damaged skin, especially used in winter. I found this product last year. At that time, my face was very dry due to acne and acid brushing for many times. Later, I used this repair cream for about two weeks, and the problem of excessively dry skin was relieved. Compare two of them, I prefer Aveeno Eczema Therapy. Price is lower, and it covers more. Not only be used in the face, but also for my body skin. In addition, Kiehl’s Crème D’elegance Repairateur seems like only be sold at American official site, I cannot find it on amazon or any other stores. In addition, as the fundamental skin care ingredient like glycerin, most products all have it. It is not necessary to buy expensive products.

Drugstore products that saved my hands!
This hand cream is truly the only one that effectively treats my eczema & heals any cracks/rashes caused by it! I’ve been using this all winter & it has left my hands free of eczema all winter! It’s unscented & has a bit of an oily texture but it absorbs into my skin almost immediately so the oil does not last. Truly a made for sensitive skin product, so happy I found this!

Rating Sunscreens!!!☀️
dear, klairs - Soft Airy UV Essence SPF 50 PA ++++ - this chemical sunscreen has changed my opinion on sunscreen and helped me realize that there are actually good ones out there - protects against UVA and UVB rays - has a airy melty texture and leave NO white cast!! - I use it as a sunscreen and moisturizer in the morning since I have combo/ oily skin, if you have normal to dry skin I would recommend using a moisturizer before this!! Aveeno - Ultra-Calming Daily Moisturizer SPF 15 - this physical is very light weight in melts into the skin really easily - usually physical sunscreen leave whit cast and can be heavy but this one isn’t like that and it’s also a moisturizer so it’s kind of 2 in 1 - the only negative is that it’s only spf 15 but aveeno does offer spf 30 but I haven’t tried it yet CeraVe - AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 - this physical sunscreen takes a while to work in and get rid of the white cast - the texture isn’t heavy but it makes my skin really oily after making my face feel heavy - I was very disappointed in this sunscreen because it left a whit cast and it also started pilling😕

Loved it 😀
Arena ultra calming daily moisturizer sunscreen Bro A spectrum SPF 15 is an amazing product. It left my face feeling nourished and moisturize definitely Pens on the skin issue you’re having issues that I was having it’s just that I wasn’t seeing any difference and I had a lot of dryness and it just wasn’t working for me but when I tried the vina OSHA coming moisturizer/SPF it really helped me. Also with combining it with the oven I’ll check on foaming cleanser and make up remover really help so I would use the cleanser first and then the SPF/moisturizer and help my skin and I Saul results in days I really like this product even though some people have bad reviews on it I tried it and used it many times I absolutely think that this is a perfect product for anyone with dryness redness or any kind of complexion loved the product.

Don't waste on any other body lotion!
Don't waste on any other body lotion!
You probably already know it. It's the classic. The staple. The best! I've been a fan of Aveeno for years, but this lotion has got to take the cake for my favorite product of theirs. It's odorless (win), comes in a huge bottle for just a couple dollars (win), and it actually soaks into your skin (win)! Theres almost nothing I would change about this product. I say almost because it's not entirely odorless, and I know some people don't like the scent but it's hardly detectable. I use this lotion after shaving my legs and on my feet and arms. Definitely not suitable for your face as it won't react with any non-normal skin well, but for the rest of your body it's fantastic. The smoothness and moisturization lasts pretty much all day and is an absolute must-have for everyone!

Hi this is my first post... I start my day with Cerave hydrating facial cleanser..I love the way it hydrates leaving smooth skin and then I use Thayers facial toner not a big fan and then I use my Aveeno absolutely ageless daily moisturizer with spf 30 ..love the way it spreads evenly although it is greasy I love as it’s not tacky and then I use my Neutrogena Hydro boost gel sunscreen spf 50 on my neck ...I don’t like it on my face as my face looks greasy but I love the fact that it doesn’t leave any white cast ... This is what I follow when I am working from home..

This is an amazing product !
This is an amazing product !
Aveeno - Positively Radiant, Micellar Gel Cleanser This product claims to draw out slim dulling impurities also moisturize and treat. This product is absolutely awesome it’s a micellar gel cleanser and also a makeup remover in one! I have oily and after I use this my skin feels so soft and clean. When pumped out it starts as a gel and lathers into a foam which is amazing and soft. It’s also dermatologist recommended. The only thing I would suggest when using this product is to use a moisturizer afterwords. The product claims to moisturize but after I use it my face feels a little tight and dry nothing against the product I just suggest it. It’s an amazing product and I definitely suggest trying it!
