Shampoo/Conditioner Combo 4 Colored Hair
Going to use these tomorrow for wash day. Looking forward to seeing if this combination works, so keeping my fingers crossed! Purchased shampoo at the drugstore (CVS), but found/purchased the conditioner elsewhere. I’ve previously used other OGX hair products. They are: 1) ogx - Quenching Coconut Curls Shampoo 2) ogx - Quenching Coconut Curls Conditioner 3) ogx - Green Tea Fitness Air Dry Cream 4) ogx - Water Cream Hydrating Treatment (replaced by) ogx - Replenishing + Water Balm Leave-In Mask I mostly use styling products to enhance my natural curls, due to them lasting longer. Update: It seems to be working well; however, I wonder if use of a blue shampoo would be better. Any thoughts?

what my SELF CARE SUNDAY looks like 🧚🏻‍♀️💅🏻
happy sunday everyone !!! sunday’s are the one day out of the week where I really go hard with self care and since it’s a sunday, I thought i’d share what mine consists of 🤗 wash my hair I wash my hair once a week and do this on sundays. ogx - Quenching Coconut Curls Shampoo ogx - Quenching Coconut Curls Conditioner ogx - Quenching Coconut Curls Curling Butter Leave In or Rinse Out I use these three in the shower and use the hair butter as a hair mask while I do all the other things in the shower. I love this product because my hair gets SUPER and i mean SUPER dry (hence washing it once a week), so this helps maintain my naturally wavy hair and keep it moisturised. I also use this product during the day too if I want to style my hair or it’s a little bit frizzy. face masks I love finishing the week with face masks ! I switch it up between AZTEC SECRET - Indian Healing Clay & PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Balancing Oil-Absorbing Mask it really just depends on what my skin needs on the day !! since these are clay masks, I like to use a sheet mask afterwards to restore moisture back into my skin, or I choose one depending again on what my skin needs! I have so many, and I love so many so can’t tag them all in here haha. paint my nails although I don’t always do this on sunday’s, if I feel like changing the colour or they are chipped I will do it sunday’s ! painting my nails makes me feel a little bit more put together and represents who I am ! cup of tea I do this most nights but I feel like cups of teas are such a sunday mood ! don’t you think? I love a green tea at night ☕️ 💫self care is different for every person to finish off their week. whether it is to do some exercise, meditate, cook, read, or simply just anything that helps you feel at peace and makes you happy, self care is super important 💫

$60 vs $8? Hair Oil Dupe?
Today let’s talk about one of my favorite topics- hair oils. These two are the top popular iconic oils. There are so many different variety of hair oils in market. Some of them are high end range from $60 to $80 + while some of drugstore ones are as low as $5. First thing first, Morocan oil. I have a love-hate relationship with Moroccan oil. Personally I am not really a fan of oils in hair. Especially I got really oily hair sometimes and it can be worse if I am not using proper oils. For years, I just like serums. What actually is morrocan oil and what makes it so much special? Moroccan oil is originated product that are found on aragon trees Morocco. This is one of my favorite drugstore product that contains Moroccan oil. One thing I really love about this product is that there is no alcohol in this product. It is oil in its purest form with a few additives to make it more. ogx - Renewing Argan Oil of Morocco Penetrating Oil I did some research on this product as well as Moroccan oil. You see many product contains Moroccan oil in brown bottles. That means it might evaporate. If you put some of this into your hands, left it to sit for a while, it will actually evaporate overtime. This is a light oil. And for this hair oil there are a lot of stuff such as vitamin D and Vitamin E would help to nourish the hair. And for light oil, this is normally designed for people whose hair is a lot more finer especially for blonds so the color of the oil itself is not gonna stay in the hair. KÉRASTASE - Kerastase Elixir Ultime L'huile Originale Oil This elixir ultimate by Kerastase is the one that I was hesitated of trying because of the price. I’ve heard so much compliment on this product, it just I didn’t want to spend $50 on a hair product. Well facts are, it is worth it ! Every single penny. This product actually contains 4 different oils - pracaxi oil for nourishment, argan oil for protection, maize oil works as antioxidant and camellia oil that will give your hair the shine. It will deeply nourish and condition the hair. It is the clearest oil which means there is less aragan oil. Both are my top favorite oils and I love them in different ways.

dry, frizzy hair? i got u!!!
hey sunshine’s !!! today i’ll be mixing it up a little bit from my regular skincare posts to hair treatments ! I have extremely thick, dry, frizzy hair that has a mind of its own. it’s literally a mane. with this I find it hard to wear my hair down naturally, and my whole life I have never really worn my hair down because I don’t feel confident with it. however !!! today I will be talking about some products that aid with this 😽 the first photo is my hair naturally brushed down, and the third is my hair after washing it and applying these treatments!! to me, my hair has always been something that does not matter a lot, although if my hair isn’t how I like it, it has the ability to chance my whole mood 🙃 my hair care routine when I wash it (once-twice a week), is as follows ! if I have time I will use the KEUNE RECOVER TREATMENT MASK on my hair in the shower after shampoo and conditioner. I love this products because whenever I use it I really notice a difference in my hair once it is dry ! it leaves it silky soft with less dryness. also it smells amazing ! when i’m out of the shower, this is where the magic is done. if I use the KEUNE MASK, I will then use the KEUNE RECOVER CONDITIONING SPRAY & the KEUNE MOROCON ARGAN OIL. the next two products I use not only after washing my hair, but also during the days if I feel like my hair is looking and feeling a little drab ! these are the ogx - Renewing Argan Oil of Morocco Penetrating Oil and ogx - Quenching Coconut Curls Curling Butter Leave In or Rinse Out these two products really tame the mane !! 🦁 I really love the ogx - Renewing Argan Oil of Morocco Penetrating Oil because it doesn’t leave your hair too greasy or heavy, and gives it a sleek shine and it amplifies my red hair! I believe it’s kept some split ends at bay and helped my hair in length too! my all time favourite product for hair however has to be the ogx - Quenching Coconut Curls Curling Butter Leave In or Rinse Out not only because it smells like tropical paradise, but also because it keeps the frizz down tremendously!! I have a lot of hairs that aren’t long enough to reach my low ponytails, but when I use this, it keeps all the hairs in place! *I also use the KEUNE PREP SPRAY for me hair whenever I straighten it! I love this as not only does it make my hair soft and not so dry after applying heat to it, but also saves my hair from heat damage! #cheriecreator

Hair growth!
I’m so so happy that my hair grew so much for the past months! And they are pretty healthy too ! * The first pic is January 1 of 2020 right after I relaxed my hair in the summer of 2019! * In the pictures, my hair are semi wet after I washed them! Here are the products that really helped ! SheaMoisture - Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Shine Shampoo SheaMoisture - Power Greens Conditioner with Moringa & Avocado cantu - Argan Oil Leave-In Conditioning Repair cantu - Shea Butter Grow Strong Strengthening Treatment TROPIC ISLE LIVING - Argan Jamaican Black Castor Oil SheaMoisture - 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Daily Hydration Leave-In Treatment TRESemmé - Botanique Nourish + Replenish With Coconut Milk & Aloe Vera Shampoo #TRESemmé - TRESemmé Conditioner Nourish & Replenish[products]#[FiveStars] I also used a lot of natural coconut oil, castor oil, shea butter and argan oil. I also made hair mask every two month, I took the TRESemmé Conditioner, I mixed it with coconut oil, castor oil, natural coconut milk, bananas, a bit of honey and a little bit of lemon juice. I put the mixture on my hair and I let it sit for 1 hour and 30 minutes, and I really noticed my hair were softer and shinier! Beside products, having a healthy and a “ stress free” lifestyle really does help, all 2020, I managed to eat good healthy food and do a lot of work out, so I believe these two things helped a lot! As of now, I started taking NATURE'S BOUNTY - Optimal Solutions Hair, Skin and Nails Gummies and ogx - Nourishing Coconut Milk Anti-Breakage Serum and SheaMoisture - Silicone Free Miracle Strobe Shine Spray so I really cannot wait for the results !! Good day to you all!💋✨

BYE BYE BRANDS: OGX 🤭
i will admit that I've used a few of OGX brand Products over the years but I finally realize there's a reason why I always end up using something else. their shampoos and conditioners are marketed to be sulfate free but that doesn't mean that every product is sulfate free. i've used a few of their collections & at the end of the bottle i don't feel compelled to go out and buy anymore. i've finally come to terms with. i have color treated hair as well & this DID NOT maintain my color, i felt it almost stripped it. also they are NOT organic... you'd think that's what OGX stood for but you'd be mistaken! they used to be called organix but they are not a cruelty-free brand. not every product in my collection is currently cruelty-free but i am trying to phase those products out! i fully understand using products that you can within your budget! just wanted to say that because i personally know it can be difficult to find CF products on a dime. on that note.... here are some products i've used & why i gave them up! ogx - Nourishing Coconut Milk Anti-Breakage Serum - weighed down my hair a lot! contains dimethicone which can cause buildup on strands. ogx - Renewing Argan Oil of Morocco Voluminous Mousse - very sticky! i love the packaging unfortunately but it made my hair feel crispy. ogx - Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Extra Penetrating Hair Oil - rating this higher because i've repurposed it to use on my body! again it was just very heavy on my hair after awhile. i feel this made my hair get oily faster. ogx - Nourishing Coconut Milk Shampoo ogx - Nourishing Coconut Milk Conditioner - hair didn't feel clean, needed a lot of both products to feel like it was doing something ogx - Protecting + Silky Blowout Quick Drying Thermal Spray - i keep this product but because it's actually sulfate free & i rarely heat my hair so using it from time to time doesn't take too much of a toll.

Top HAIR PRODUCTS of 2020!!
Hey guys! This is the 3rd post for my Best and Worst of Beauty 2020 series! You guys love these posts, so let’s get right on into my top pick for haircare! Once again my disclaimer that these are my opinions, experiences, and data I’ve found. If your opinion or data differs, that’s okay, this is just for fun. Shampoos and Conditioners: 🧴 🚿 I have two picks for this category, one expensive, one cheap. For expensive I choose function of beauty - Custom shampoo + conditioner , which is my current shampoo. Function of Beauty has you take a hair quiz and choose hair goals, then they formulate a custom product based on your hair needs. It costs $49.99 for one 16 fl oz bottle of conditioner and one 16 fl oz bottle of shampoo. The price drops to $39.99 for a 8 fl oz version. Since the formulation depends on your hair, I’ll just share the link to see what may be in yours. If you go to https://www.functionofbeauty.com/ingredients/ it shows the ingredients added per hair goal. My goals are to hydrate, lengthen, anti-frizz, shine, and soothe my scalp. My hair used to be very dry and frizzy, and it hasn’t been since using Function of Beauty. My hair has grown way fast than it ever has, 6 inches since quarantine began! My scalp is also less itchy. A splurge, but worth it. If that’s too expensive you can get the ogx - Thick & Full + Biotin & Collagen Shampoo and ogx - Thick & Full Biotin & Collagen Conditioner . They’re sold separately for $7.99 each for a 13 fl oz bottle at Ulta. They make your hair very soft, as well as nourished. Scalp Scrub: 👩🧼 My pick is definitely theOUAI - Scalp & Body Scrub . It has fine sugar crystals that remove dandruff buildup, or dead skin cells on your skin. This one is pricey, at $38.00 for a 8.8 fl oz tub at Sephora. It has been on Allure’s Best of Haircare list for 3 years straight, and has glycerin and hydrating oils. Hair treatments: ✨🧴 The davines - All In One Milk Lotion is technically a men’s product, but I (a female) LOVE it! You can get a 4.56 fl oz spray bottle for $35.00 on Amazon. It makes your hair shiney, smooth, and detangles it. My only complaint is it has a very strong scent. My second pick is the Maui MOISTURE - Lightweight Hydration + Hibiscus Water Quenching Detangler . It’s much more affordable at $8.99 for a 4.2 fl oz bottle. This is a basic shine inducing detangler that works great with a comb. Hair Mousse: 🛁🧴 The LAYRITE - Natural Matte Cream is another man oriented product that’s great for everyone. For men, it’s mostly used to wax/gel their hair into place. I like it for crazy hair day or Halloween, but for people with a lot of baby hairs or pixie cuts, this is a must. Those are my picks! Thanks for reading this post! Cheer this post so more people can learn about these amazing products, and follow me to see the rest of the series! -Mae

Sometimes The Most Expensive Isn’t The Best
My hair care philosophy is simple but effective. ogx - Thick & Full + Biotin & Collagen Shampoo SheaMoisture - Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen & Restore Rinse-Out Conditioner Briogeo - Be Gentle, Be Kind Avocado + Kiwi Mega Moisture Superfoods Hair Mask I wash my hair every three days with the ogx product to shampoo and SheaMoisture to keep my 2B/C hair hydrated and wavy. I use the mask (which gives amazing slip) every week to add moisture to my hair without weighing it down. It is a balance between getting enough moisture and preserving my waves. Briogeo - Farewell Frizz Rosarco Milk Leave-in Conditioning Spray I finish up by towel drying and adding this product to prevent heat in this humidity.

These are definitely dry hair saviours!!
Hey girls, are your hair rather dry and coarse? Maybe we got envied by friends about how uneasily it gets oily, dry-hair girls do have their own concerns, right? Well, you are not alone, my hair is super dry and it’s also naturally wavy. Tending unwell and carelessly, it will look unhealthy, just like straws. And after searching for hair care products in the market, I have finally met my combo of products which can perfectly do the job of adding moisture and shine to my hair and always keep it in a good state. ◇ What are they: Aussie Repair Miracle Shampoo, Aussie Deep Treatment 3 Minute Miracle Reconstruction and ogx Renewing argan oil of morocco. ◇ The reason my hair is dry: for one thing, just as you are born into a certain skin type, your hair type is also related to genetics and in my case, it is on the dry side. For another, I have dyed my hair at home several times and I guess the hair-dyer did damage to my hair in ways of affecting cuticles, which provide protection for hair. And of course, I guess blowing drying hair all the time is also quite harmful. ◇ Steps and tips of using these products for dry hair: ■ Avoid washing your hair on a daily basis: less is more and your dry hair just doesn’t get oily or dirty that easy anyway ■ Use luke warm water ■ Use the shampoo to wash your hair whilst carefully and gently message your scalp ■ Use a tower to gently wipe off most of the water ■ Apply the treatment and leave it there for five minutes or even longer. Some gentle message at this step would also definitely be beneficial. ■ Towel dry the hair and apply a thick layer of the argan oil ◇ Ingredients that are playing the role in these products: Macadmia nut oil, balm mint extract, argan oil of morocco, etc. Looking for these ingredients when you are selecting hair care products. Now my straws are saved and yours can too~~!

Ogx Products for Long, Healthy Hair
If you are anything like me, then getting your hair as healthy as possible is a priority.   In the past, I was notorious for bleaching my hair and adding unnecessary highlights to it which damaged it and gave it a hay-like texture for many years.   Then I stumbled across Ogx argan oil of morocco, this hair oil is what I attribute to my hair growth and the healing of it.   The texture of it is thick as it is an oil so you only need a small amount in the application. I personally take a dime-sized amount, rub it between my hands, and then run it through my hair every other day.   The oil is nourishing and makes even the driest hair look like it has a healthy sheen to it. All-the-while it replenishes necessary vitamins and helps it with growth.   Paired with the argan oil, I like to use the same brand’s dry shampoo. Not only is the smell really nice, but dry shampoo is an essential in hair care.   As it is recommended to wash your hair only 2-3 times a week for health, maintaining your roots and keeping them from looking oily is essential. I use this spray to cover my roots from looking too oily and to also add volume on top of my hair.   With just a few sprays of this product, you can tease your hair to look like an effortless, beachy hairstyle.   Both of these items you can find at Ulta Beauty or your local Target.

Hair Routine for Sleek Shine
I have the most over processed hair, after nearly 10 years of modeling, dying my hair every few months, and over styling my hair has really been through it. Even tho my hair is damaged it doesn’t stop me from attempting to make it look healthy. I have quite fine pin straight hair, it’s very dense in some places and sparse in others like around my hairline. I have a few products that really help me to make my hair look it’s best. For me I feel my hair looks it’s best when it shines and appears damage free without looking greasy o heavy. This is a great routine for someone with my kind of hair, for someone who needs to restore life and youth to their hair. 1. Once I’m in the shower I apply the Kérastase Resistance Shampoo to the palms of my hands and begin massaging it in at the roots and working my way down to the ends of the hair. Massaging the shampoo improves circulation in the scalp to stimulate growth and really helps thoroughly clean the hair. This shampoo is a strengthening product for brittle, damaged hair, with split ends; so it’s perfect for my hair. It’s cleansing without being too harsh. I then completely rinse the shampoo from my head with warm water. 2. I next apply the Kérastase Resistance Conditioner which is the match to the shampoo starting from the ends of my hair and working up to the crown, but don’t apply the conditioner to the roots or it will weigh the hair down. I let the conditioner sit in my hair for 3-5 min for maximum penetration before brushing with my favorite Tangle Teaser wet hair brush and then rinsing. This conditioner leaves my hair feeling lustrous and moisturized. The conditioner helps with strengthening the hair so it doesn’t break and improves the appearance of shine. 3. This is a step I personally take after I’ve towel dried my hair, while the pores on my scalp are still open from the warm shower. I use the Hers Minoxidil topical solution on the patchy parts of my hairline where hair has slowed or stopped growing due to multiple burns from hot tools over my many years modeling. Minoxidil is a proven and safe solution to stimulate hair regrowth. I’ve been using it for months now and I really see improvements and new growth. Kinda amazing! I have to use this day and night on my hairline for best results. 4. I always let my hair air dry about 50% before I go in with the Kérastase Genesis Defense Thermique fortifying blow dry fluid. This hair serum provides anti-breakage protection and tames frizz without weighing the hair down. I don’t normally blow dry my hair but if I did I know this will provide protection and just gives my hair the boost of moisture it needs especially on the ends. I spray this from the mid lengths of the hair to the ends and brush it through. 5. Once my hair is completely air dried I finish my routine with a simple hair oil like the OGX Renewing Extra Penetrating oil. I apply a dime sized amount to the palms of my hands and run it through the lengths of my hair focusing on the ends and avoiding the roots. This really helps lock in the moisture from the other products and leaves my hair with an expensive looking shine. It tames my fly aways and completely eliminates any frizz I have at my ends. Just use it sparingly if you have thin hair because you run the risk of weighing the hair down. 6. This is an extra step that I do once in a while but is completely necessary to maintain healthy liking hair if you’re hair is super damaged like mine. I use the Olaplex No 3 hair perfector before shampooing on damp towel dried hair and leave it in for 15 to 30 min before hopping in the the shower and continuing with my normal hair routine, which means if you chose to do this step you use this hair product like a mask before shampooing. This is a hair stylist staple because it really works! It repairs and strengthens the hair and you can see a difference in a single use!

PRODUCTS THAT HELPED WITH HAIR LOSS!
Hair loss can be an incredibly painful experience. It’s embarrassing and exhausting trying to hide. Most times whatever I did to hide it caused more damage. It’s so easy not to feel beautiful when you fall outside of the traditional standards of beauty. In my personal experience I felt like no one else I knew was going through the same thing I was and I just wanted my hair to grow like everyone else. I tried so many products and would get my hopes up when I saw some progress only to be devastated again and again. My hair loss is a direct result of stress and would happen around big deadlines or when something big was happening in my life which would create even more stress! I have very dry hair brittle hair, that doesn’t do well when it is out in its natural state and requires a lot of maintenance. 2 products I use in addition using ogx - Coconut Miracle Oil Shampoo ogx - Coconut Miracle Oil Conditioner TROPIC ISLE LIVING - Jamaican Black Castor Oil Hair Therapy deep conditioning once a month, keeping my hair in protective styles like braids and wearing satin bonnets to sleep are Women’s Rogaine and Hairfinity vitamins. Rogaine - 5% Minoxidil Foam for Hair Regrowth - this is a clear watery liquid. You are to apply to the area of your scalp that you experiencing hair loss twice a day. It comes with a dropper so it’s easy to be precise about where you are placing the product. I have hair loss along my hairline so I apply the product and then Pat it into my hair to prevent it from dripping. It can get a bit sticky on your hands. This is not a product that works overnight so you have to be patient but it can have amazing results with continued use. #Hairfinity - Healthy Hair Vitamins[products]#[FiveStars] - LOVE THIS PRODUCT! This produces speedy results! Your results are based on how fast your hair grows and they may not be the same for everyone but in 3 weeks to a month of taking these pills I started seeing my bald patches starting to darken and I feel like my hair was growing at a faster rate. I started using this product first so I have seen the results of this on its own and they are amazing! My stress induced hair loss happens at the top of my head and Hairfinity helped my hair regrow in this area pretty quickly but the thin areas around my hairline still needed extra help and that’s why I started using Rogaine. This is something I wouldn’t talk about for a long time but once I realized it happens to more people than I thought I decided started to feel less embarrassed about something that is of my control. #CherieCreator

HOW TO SLEEP WITH & TREAT SUPER DRY HAIR!
My natural hair is longer than it has ever been. I have struggled with hair loss over the years but I’ve finally found a system that works for me. Washing & Conditioning: Once a month or each time I take out my protective styles I deep condition my hair with Salon Care cholesterol Cream Conditioner. I take the cream and fully saturate my hair and scalp with the product, cover my hair with a disposable plastic cap and put my heating cap on for 30 mins and wash my hair. Cholesterol is great for adding moisture to dry damaged hair. I use ogx - Coconut Miracle Oil Shampoo & ogx - Coconut Miracle Oil Conditioner . These products are amazing! They smell great and add much needed moisture to my hair leaving it looking shiny and healthy. Hydration: I add castor oil to my scalp every day and put it on my hands when I am twisting my hair for bed to add moisture and shine to my hair. I apply it from roots to ends of my hair about once a week or when I notice my hair starting to get dry. Castor oil promotes hair growth, repairs split ends, controls hair loss and helps to thicken hair. Sleep: When I am wearing my natural hair I will twist my hair before bed about 2 times during the week. When I twist my hair i wear a head scarf to protect my hair and keep everything in place. In the morning I will untwist my hair, separate the strands and use a wide tooth comb to fluff the roots. On nights after my initial twist out I will put my hair (untwisted) in my Grace Eleyae Satin Lined Cap. This protects my hair from friction when I sleep and helps my Hair retain moisture and shine. I also use a satin pillow case in case my scare or cap slips off while I am sleeping so that my hair is protected for friction damage. I use the one from Organic Olive Oil Root Stimulater. Protective Styles: This has really helped my hair to grow. I don’t keep my natural hair out for extended periods of time. I am also straying away from wigs because they can take moisture from your hair and the friction between the wig and your hair can cause breakage. When I get my hair braided it usually lasts 1-3 months depending on the style. Cornrow styles last about a month and box braids and twist last closet to 3. When my hair is in braids I put castor oil on my scalp every day or when my scalp feels dry. #CherieCreator

My absolutely crazy hair journey after chemo
When I lost my hair to chemo I was absolutely devastated. I always had long and thick wavy hair. After I lost it I was looking for absolutely everything and anything to grow my hair. The best thing is patience!! I know we want instant results, but you gotta learn your hair. I ended up growing curly hair to my surprise and didn’t know a single thing about taking care of it!! First off, I strongly recommend looking at the back of your shampoo bottles (yes even the ones that claim to be natural) and look for something called DMDM. This is SO bad for your hair and causes you to lose hair in the hand loads. For so long I wasn’t aware that this was in my shampoos and blamed chemo and medications for all my hair loss even after I grew it back. The shampoo I listed below has been a miracle! I found it at Marshall’s for 6.99 including the hydrating conditioner. I also apply the leave in conditioner and I saw results in 2 months. I went from barely reaching my shoulders to the 3rd picture above. I also use the spray after my hair dries a little more and after I use a styler. Also try transitioning to 2-3 washes a week it’ll do wonders. I’d also recommend using a scalp brush in the shower to get your roots and make sure you’re removing product build up. After you get out try using a hair turban instead of your towel, it’ll reduce breakage!! SheaMoisture - Argan Oil & Almond Milk Smooth & Tame Conditioner SheaMoisture - Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen & Restore Shampoo SheaMoisture - Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen & Restore Leave-In Conditioner ogx - Renewing Argan Oil Of Morocco Weightless Healing Dry Oil ARGAN MAGIC Defining Curl Cream

September Empties!
Hi Gems! We are now in the full swing of October so it’s time to review what I emptied in September! DevaCurl - One Condition Decadence for Super Curly Hair This conditioner was good for my damaged curls! It provided enough hydration, but I didn’t love how it felt going into my hair. I loved the subtle scent of and the bright packaging! Although this conditioner is great, it is pricy especially when I use so much of it! I have since moved on to trying another curly girl conditioner that I will review soon! JERGENS - Natural Glow Instant Sun Mousse This has been my go to drugstore self tanner for a while now! I never have any issues with it streaking when combined with my tanning mitt and it fades well. The smell is pretty bad and it can be very sticky, so I only leave it on for around 5-6 hours and use baby powder to combat stickiness! The color is great and not too orange! ogx - Renewing Argan Oil Of Morocco Weightless Healing Dry Oil I love this hair oil! It smells amazing AND tackles my frizzy curls like a champ! It is truly weightless and never leaves my hair feeling oily or weighed down! If you have trouble with frizz or just want your hair to look healthy this is definitely for you! I will be repurchasing! Fruit of the Earth - Aloe Vera 100% Gel Every girl needs a trust worthy aloe vera gel in her beauty line up and this is a fantastic one! This gel doesn’t have any added color which is why I like it! I use this on my face and my hair! For my face, it helps to hydrate and heal imperfections. I use it in my hair to help hydrate and lock my curl pattern making it a staple in my hair care routine! Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Hydrating Cleansing Gel I have been using this cleanser for months and it has never failed me! It foams wonderfully and has a minimal fragrance! It is reasonably priced and never makes my skin feel striped, which is always a concern with cleansing. The Hydro Boost line is one of my favorites but I am a huge fan of trying new things though, so I am testing out a different cleanser this month! DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Resurfacing Night Serum I got this in a trial size to test it out because they’re products are so expensive! The packaging is adorable, but it’s what’s inside that counts! I honestly didn’t see a huge difference in my complexion and overall it didn’t wow me. LOVE beauty AND planet - Coconut Water & Mimosa Flower Radical Refresher Body Wash This body wash smells HEAVENLY and the packaging is adorable! However, it doesn’t leave me feeling as hydrated as I should or as other washes have! TRADER JOE'S - Nourish Hyaluronic Moisture Boost Serum This serum was great and inexpensive! It always leaves my face feeling super hydrated and supple! It lasted me a long time which made my really happy!

I really like this body wash
I really like this body wash
Have ever seen a warm vanilla cupcake and wanted to rub it all over your body? That is what this body wash smells like. It is a slightly richer, less juvenile vanilla like maybe they used brown butter to bake it, but it definitely feels decadent. How to use: Wash your body with it. 🚿 From the scent to the lather, I really like ogx - OGX® Shea Soft & Smooth Body Wash . I have had this bottle for about 3 months. The blend of shea butter, coconut oil and agave leaves your skin feeling moisturized, but doesn’t leave a film of oil on your skin. It is like your body wash is lightly hugging you. I double moisturize afterward, but that is because I am a freak when it comes to hydration. If you are uber in love with the scent then it does come with a matching lotion. Recommend? Yes, OGX has every scent you could possibly want. I hate heat styling my hair with heat tools (I could make something up about damage but the reality is I’m lazy AF). This is an amazing air dry cream! ZERO crunch, only soft gorgeous waves! ogx - Locking + Coconut Curls Air Dry Cream

Current hair care selections
I
Current hair care selections I had seen this pearlessence dry shampoo at winners a couple times, and tbh I had low expectations since it was always there. I figured I would give it a try anyway since I go through a lot of dry shampoo (greasy hair problems). To my surprise it’s actually good! It smells nice and it’s very lightweight- not thick and powdery like a lot of other dry shampoos, doesn’t leave a white cast on my brown hair. I’m obsessed with the smell of the OGX coconut miracle line. Would definitely repurchase these, the price is not bad at all and it makes my hair feel nice since it’s sulfate free. Last but not least, still loving this Lani leave in oil treatment - I sleep with it in once or twice a week and I see the difference after I wash it out the next morning. It gives my hair more bounce and shine.

Air Dry Hair Rescue
Air Dry Hair Rescue
My hair is very crazy when I let it air dry and I try to avoid styling it that way, but sometimes i’m pressed for time or just don’t want to use heat on it that day. I’ve tried a lot of products to try and tame my hair and this has been one of my favorites so far. It’s intended to add shine and help with a smoother drying process. I’ve been using it for a while now and it always tames most of my frizz and makes my wavy hair look much better. It also smells SO good. I love green tea anything so that’s probably what sold me on this the most initially. I really recommend this for anyone with frizzy hair that wants a break from heat styling.ogx - Green Tea Fitness Air Dry Cream

Dry hair? No problem
Dry hair? No problem
This product claims to fix split ends, prevent flyaways, and reveal shine in your hair. I decided to pick this hair oil up because my hair was feeling very dry, and I have heard many good things about this product. Instructions state that do you spritz this all over your hair after towel drying your hair, and disperse with a brush. One thing that I noticed right away was the smell, it’s smells so good!! 😍😍 I have use this product for a good six months, every other day. I have noticed that my hair is a lot softer at the ends, and is less frizzy. Overall, I do believe that this product does what it claims to do (with varying results due to the hair type that you have). It is a lightweight oil - does not weigh down your hair (that is always a plus), and it’s super affordable!! You really can’t beat that! 🤩🤩 I do recommend this product or anyone who is struggling with dry dead ends, or just need a little pick me up for the hair! You really cannot go wrong with the price. I give this product 4 stars (-1 star, it is not a significant noticeable change, but it is subtle enough for you to realize). ogx - Renewing Argan Oil Of Morocco Weightless Healing Dry Oil What is your favourite hair oil? ☺️
