Nail Makeover 💅🏻
DERMELECT - Makeover Peptide Infused Ridge Filler Base Coat Dermelect Nail Makeover in a bottle. Benefits~ Conceals nails imperfections Fills in Nail ridges strengthens week, brittle Nails Helps nails to grow Treat damage Nails from acrylic or gel use Helps prevent nail staining from nail polish Key Ingredients~ Keratin Peptide~Helps encourage stubborn nails to grow while strengthening. Pentavitin Moisture Magnet~The name says it all. It acts like a water magnet locking in the moisture, strengthening our nails natural defenses and prevents dry, brittle nails. How To Use- Brush on 1 to 2 coats on clean dry nails as a base coat before applying Nail Polish. ⭐️My Thoughts~ If you have had a chance to read my post on nail health you might have seen the section on nail ridges. Nail Ridges are a natural part of aging for our nails, they are like wrinkles on your face, the older you get the more you get. You can buff them out but that can make your Nails thin and cause damage. I love this product, it doesn’t have a oder, it dries fast, goes on smooth, and is a milky shear color. It helps conceal my nail ridges, leaving them smooth & makes a great base coat. It’s also perfect to wear with just clear polish for a natural look. Not only helps conceal the ridges on my nails it helps strengthens my nails after years of abuse from acrylic, powder and gels. I first received this is a FFF box a few years ago and became addicted I have since then repurchased this at Ulta for $16.00. I have used other nail ridge concealers before but this is my favorite. I recommend this for anyone it’s a great basecoat preventing your nails from staining and makes your nail polish look fabulous. A must have for any DIY Mani. #CheriePartner

How to care for dry nails
It can be so hard living with dry and cracked nails! Mine used to be so ugly and would split and crack when I let them grow out even a little bit 🙃 To help them grow stronger I’ve started taking a daily woman’s vitamin with biotin and I think that has really helped! I have also been applying a cuticle oil once or twice a week. This helps the nail grow stronger and more moisturized! Plus I will almost always have on a treatment nail polish! The current treatment I have been using is the DERMELECT - Makeover Peptide Infused Ridge Filler Base Coat I’ve been loving this treatment! It’s a thin, sheer formula that gives the nails a slight glittery glow! It dries super fast, completely dries in less than an hour! Next, I make sure to trim them at least weekly. You don’t have to trim them down super short but at least checking to make sure if you have any splitting to trim that off! #cheriepartner

The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA fades scars
About a year ago I banged my ankle on one of those stupid bird scooter things and it immediately swelled up and bruised in the worst possible way. I think it took a full 6 months before it stopped hurting and the bruising went down but a year later I still had what I would describe as a bruise shadow. I don't know if there's a technical term for it, but its a noticeable dark spot that just would not go away. Anyway, earlier this year I accidentally bought some Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA from the Ordinary because it had been shelved wrong at Ulta. I tried it on my face and within a month it had evened out my freckles which always come out in full force in the summer. I was actually blown away at how well it worked on my face I decided to try it on a few dark spots on my legs, including this bruise. The only skin I'm really self conscious about besides my face is my lower legs. Over the years I've hacked them to sh*t hiking, climbing, running, and doing crazy outdoor stuff so my legs are covered in spots and scars. Since I was done using the AA 2% + HA on my face I figured why not try it on my legs. Within a month of spotty use I feel like I'm actually seeing the bruise shadow fade! I never really considered using TO stuff on other spots on my body, but because it's so inexpensive I really don't feel bad experimenting with it and I'm pretty stoked that it seems to be working. Might be worth a shot if you struggle with spots elsewhere on your body as well. Full routine out of the shower daily: 1. The Ordinary - Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA one drop on each spot on my legs, rub in and wait for it to dry. 2. DERMELECT - Runway Ready Luxury Foot Treatment on my feet and ankles Love this.... makes my feet look post-pedi every day! Also fragrance free! 3. CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin on my legs all the way up to my waist. 4. PALMER'S - Cocoa Butter Formula Oil With Vitamin E over the CeraVe. Another game changer, I feel like it gives my legs a little glow without being in the sun.

FENTY? MILK? MAC?! BoxyCharm First Impressions
BoxyCharm is a monthly subscription service that sends 4-5 full sized brand name products for $21 a month for a base box. It is $35 for a premium. (Source: makeupsubscriptionaddiction) Let me just say that BoxyCharm KILLED it this month! I signed up for this subscription back in June because I love trying out new products and this subscription actually sends you beauty products that you’ve actually heard of. For instance, I got Hourglass, Zoeva, Morphe and Ciate London on my box last month. This month, I got Milk makeup, SUNDAY EFFING RILEY, MAC cosmetics, Too Faced and Fenty. Each item that I got this month are listed down below: 💋 SUNDAY RILEY - C.E.O. Vitamin C Rich Hydration Cream I am the most excited for this item because we all know that Ms. Sunday Riley isn’t cheap. This retails for 65 USD. Also 2 of her items are my HG skin care product so I have no doubt that I will love this 💋ciaté - Editor Palette - New England Eyeshadow Palette This retails for $32. I am excited for this because I LOVE eyeshadow palettes. This has fun colors such as greens, golds, corals and blues while also having neutrals. Can’t wait to play with this! 💋FENTY BEAUTY - Portable Contour & Concealer Brush 150 I am a HUGE fan of Fenty’s match stix. I love using the shade mocha for contour and I feel that this brush is made specifically for that product so I’ll have flawless contour. This is also travel friendly so I can just throw both in my makeup bag and voila! They’re also magnetic so they stick together. This brush retails for $24 💋MAC - MAC Satin Lipstick I was SHOOK when I saw that BC threw a MAC lipstick in my box. MAC is my HG lipstick. Especially the shade Velvet Teddy. Neutral browns are also my favorites and I got the shade Spirit! This is a neutral toned light brown so it’s perfect for me! Ugh sooo in love. This retails for $20 💋Milk MAKEUP - Long Wear Gel Eyeliner This liner is pretty high pigmented when I swatched. I also love how it has a smudger on the other side. I haven’t tried a lot of milk products so I’m pretty excited for this. This retails for $22 💋DERMELECT - Xl Lash Volumizer This is a tri-peptide eyelash booster formula. It can also be used on the brows. This is supposed to be applied at bed time and I am excited to add this to my nighttime routine. This is $49 💋Too Faced - Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Concealer Last but not least, the Too Faced born this way concealer. I have this and love it!! So the fact that I have another one doesn’t hurt at all. This concealer retails for $29. So overall this box is worth $240 and I only paid $35 for the premium box. Usually I only have one or two items that I am excited about but BC really killed this month’s box and knocked it out of the park. I am excited for all the products I got and that’s a first! I hope BC keeps it up! Are you subscribed to any beauty box subscription? Francesca 💋
