New hair cut and new palette!
Went and got my hair cut and curled today. Feeling in a pretty mood so I decided to use my new #Laura Sanchez - MOODS Eyeshadow Palette[products]#[FiveStars] ! I am not wearing any lipstick and not very much blush because I will be wearing a mask today...sooo I skipped it. Plus I have hormonal skin at this time and makeup doesn’t help. But back to today’s simple eyes mainly look! I did use some e.l.f. - Hydrating Camo Concealer to hide my darkness. But that’s it. Today I embrace my spots!!! 🤗 I used billion dollar brows - Brow Powder and WANDER BEAUTY - Frame Your Face Precise Brow Gel The colors used on the #Laura Sanchez - MOODS Eyeshadow Palette[products]#[FiveStars] were as follows: Light tan as base color Dark Pink in crease and outer corner Shimmer Pink on inner corner and lid White highlighter under brows and cheeks I love this palette, these shadows are very nice. They are not as bold as they are in the palette but they are quite stunning. And they blend so well! The color is buildable so you can go as delicate or saturated as you like. The highlighters are so great!!! I love the white one it’s like holographic ! 😍 The little brush it comes with it pretty good at blending out the shadows even with not being a very dense brush. MAYBELLINE - Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner for wings. Araceli - Ojos Perfectos Gel Pencil Eyeliner in chocolate on lower water line. benefit - BADgal BANG! Volumizing Mascara which is my go to when not wearing falsies. MILANI - MILANI Baked Blush just a little, barely noticeable 😂! Since we are visiting the pumpkin patch today and half my face will be covered.... it was just all about the eyes!! Also during hormonal times I try to avoid foundation, contour, and blush because my skin likes to fight back!😳 I am not usually a punk eyeshadow person but I like this looks. It’s soft and shimmery. This is just the first time I have used this palette and I can’t wait to see what other “moods” I can create! 😜

🚨TARGET HAUL: REPURCHASES & NEW BUYS! 🚨
Sharing my newest beauty haul including hair, nails, & makeup. Also, target is doing spend $30 on beauty get a $10 gift card. Just a small fyi, now let's talk about this haul! REPURCHASED PRODUCTS: scünci - Scrunchies Black I barely need to explain this but I love scrunchies! I rarely use traditional hair ties anymore, these don't tug on my hair and are super cute. I keep them in my purse, my car, my desk, basically any and everywhere! ARDELL - Pro Brow Trim & Shape My go-to brow/facial razor! This pack is limited time (apparently) normally it only comes with 3 but this time I found 6! KISS - Maximum Speed Nail Glue I like to have nail glue handy just in case a break happens, I'm prepared! COVERGIRL - Clean Fresh Skin Milk Foundation Used in all my tutorials but this is my go-to dewy/radiant finish foundation. It's definitely "milk" meaning it's super light coverage but it's been amazing for summer so I can powder it & wear it on the go with no problem. MILANI - Make It Last Prime + Correct + Set Setting Spray Check out my dedicated post on why I love this setting spray... fun fact: I always have at least two in my makeup collection! I can't go without it. Now onto the fun stuff..... NEW BUYS: MILANI - MILANI Baked Blush The Nars Blush has been my go-to for years but it's not nice to my wallet. I used to love these baked blush for their soft shimmer effect & their range is gorgeous. I picked up the shades Dolce Pink & Sunset Passione. I hope they are what I remember! NYX - Micro Brow Pencil I have used shade Espresso in this pencil before which I did not like, it almost had a red undertone? I don't know but my brows and I didn't like it. Now I've dyed my hair black with red tint so I'm trying out their Black shade with the hopes of finding a cheap brow pencil option. NYX - Epic Wear Liner Stick I'm leaning into using more colors in my looks, so I picked up a white liner to use as a base for liner looks & to brighten my waterline. I tend to smudge underneath my eye so my goal is to find a liner that can hold up to the "waterproof" claim. We will see! e.l.f. - Flawless Concealer Brush I have used this brush before but I used it for highlighter.... weird I know but I like a dense brush. Now I do wanna use it for it's intended purpose, look out for a sponge/brush blending review for concealer coming soon! e.l.f. - Liquid Glitter Eyeshadow This gold/copper shade really caught my eye! Looking forward to trying it; in shade Flirty Birdy EYLURE - Luxe Silk Marquise Multipack HOUSE of LASHES - Allura Lite Lashes are my favorite part of the makeup routine! I got two new, dramatic pair to test out. Stay tuned for reviews on these guys! Thanks for reading ❤️

HOW I CONTOUR & HIGHLIGHT MY NOSE
I love using makeup to transform my features into what I think best suits my face. I like to contour my nose to appear slimmer and a tad bit shorter. I usually use powders to contour, but when I really want to make a difference, I will used liquid products as well. Photo 1: no nose contour/highlight Photo 2: liquid contour/highlight Photo 3: powder contour/highlight Photo 4: finished results Products used & how: Liquid contour- When contouring, you want to stick to shades that are cool-toned (no orange-y). You can use concealers, contour sticks, or even foundations. I chose to use MILANI - Conceal + Perfect 2-in-1 Foundation + Concealer . I dabbed the product on with a small stippling brush and blended it out well with a small blending brush. I chose to apply this product down the sides of my nose and “circling” the tip of my nose. Liquid highlight- with your highlighter shade you want to choose something much lighter for contrast and to really make the shadows stand out. I chose Too Faced - Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Concealer and applied it with a small precision eyeliner brush. I blended out the product with a small blending brush. I applied this product down the bridge of my nose and on the tip of my nose. Powder contour- with powder contour, you want to stick to cool toned shades as well. This step is too set your liquid products you just used. I chose to use the cool toned shade in smashbox - Step-By-Step Contour Kit . I blended it out with a small blending brush. Powder highlight-I used MAC - MAC x Patrickstarrr Setting Powder on the outer edges of the nose and applied it with a beauty sponge. This created the illusion of a slimmer nose. I also applied MAC - Mineralize Skinfinish Highlight Face Powder down the center of my nose and on the tip. This also creates the same illusion. These are the products and techniques that work well for my nose. Also, I did break my nose on the left side so it is slightly crooked but I have a hard time correcting the breakage. (I have a light medium- skin tone for reference) #CherieCreator

Affordable & Looks Natural!
There's a dupe that's close to this Milani blush but I don't remember which one. These two works great because I don't usually enjoy powder highlighters that has a hint of color in it. I'm more of the natural white. I didn't know that the more you use the highlighter, it turns pink in the bottom. But it still looks great! MILANI - Rose Powder Blush MILANI - Hypnotic Lights Powder Highlighter This blush from what I see when I use this, is that it's buildable. You can do a small swipe and still get color but it's very subtle. It doesn't look like you went ham on the blush unless if you decide to put more on. Hence the buildable. The highlighter is also subtle. Compared to my Becca highlighter, one swipe also gives a subtle glow with the Becca, the power is a bit heavier so it picked up a lot of pigments from one swipe. Overall, it's really great quality and affordable.

{Brown Eyes} Easy Matte Brown Eye Pictorial
Do you like to wear eyeshadow that is the same color as your eyes? I sure do! I have brown eyes, and I think that brown shadow makes my eyes look so...cozy. Is that weird? LOL. Anyways, I definitely recommend trying shadow that’s the same color as your eyes. For brown eyes, I also love orange, purple, and green. I prepared a simple matte eyeshadow pictorial using the DOSE OF COLORS - Baked Browns Eyeshadow Palette . This palette contains 5 warm-toned brown shadows ranging in depth and undertone. These shadows are very powdery and very pigmented, so less is more! The formula is smooth and easy to blend. It retails for $32, but you can sometimes find it on sale. DOC has a bunch of these 5-pans, so there’s bound to be a color story you’ll like. I used all 5 shades in this pictorial. This look took me about 5 minutes total. I apply my eyeshadow first except for lower lash line prior to doing my base makeup. I have hooded eyes, so I don’t do a lot of “complicated” eye looks (like cut creases) because the effect can get a little lost + time consuming (for me). Steps: Pre-prep: Prep your eyes with eye primer or concealer and set with translucent powder or the shade “tea light” (pale cream) depending on your skin tone. 1. Using a flat or fluffy brush, apply the shade “deserted” all over your lid and into your crease. 2. Using a fluffy blush, blend “outdoorsy” into your crease. 3. Using a smaller fluffy brush, gently stamp “cherry wood” onto your outer corner, then blend slightly inwards onto your lid and into your crease. 4. Using a flat definer or angled brush, apply “rock bottom” across your upper lashline. You can make this as intense as you want! **Blend your edges with a clean brush or one of your used fluffy brushes dipped into “tea light** 5. Use a pencil or flat definer brush to apply a tiny amount of “cherry wood” onto your outer lower lash line. Blend out with “deserted” or “outdoorsy” (I used “deserted” for a softer effect. Highlight under your brow arch and inner corner with “tea light”. 6. Add mascara. Not a fan of all matte eyes? Tap a shimmer shade from another palette on the inner 1/2 or 3/4 of your lid. Other eye products used: MILANI - MILANI Eyeshadow Primer (I’ve talked about this many times) the Balm cosmetics - Mad Lash Mascara (still testing this) #CheriePartner

Is Glitter Primer Worth It?
TLDR: YES glitter primer is worth it Some people choose not to use actual eye primer. I personally do on a daily basis - the MILANI - MILANI Eyeshadow Primer . Some choose to use concealer, and if that works for you, that’s awesome. So why would you need a glitter primer, especially if you aren’t someone who wears glitter? Keep reading! I own the NYX - Glitter Primer . It’s affordable (approx. $7), cruelty-free, and widely available. I have a large eyeshadow palette collection. Some of my palettes are a few years old (like my tarte - Maneater Eyeshadow Palette V2 - mine is original version which you can’t get anymore but v2 contains same shades) and the shimmers don’t perform as well. You can use a glitter primer to amp up the intensity of lackluster shimmers! I swatched the shade “foxy” on dry skin w/ no primer, over the Milani primer, and over the NYX glitter primer. The swatch with the glitter primer is more shimmery and the shadow looks like how it used to 3-4 years ago. The glitter primer also holds onto shadow much better and will increase wear time. Glitter primer is great for, you guessed it, glitter. Now, admittedly I own a few COLOURPOP - Colourpop Pressed Glitter and will flat out warn you they’re not technically eye safe. I regret buying a bunch of them but that’s a story for a different time. I have used the glitter glue to adhere these glitters to my eyes and I experience almost 0 fall-out. That’s incredible! The glitter primer can also be used on your body if you’re into body glitter. By the way, the shade I’m showing is the shade “fyre” - a gorgeous green. You can see in the swatches the glitter primer makes the glitter much more opaque and it adheres to the skin significantly better. I recommend looking for eye safe glitter. The NYX’s texture is quite tacky, so be sure to finish applying any other matte shadows before using this because it will be difficult to blend on top. I use this glitter glue most often for my older shimmer shadows. It’s also great for this of us with hooded eyes (raises hand) that experience a ton of shimmer transfer into the crease. It won’t completely stop the transfer, but it definitely helps. I fully recommend adding a glitter primer to your primer collection. At this price point, it’s a steal for the quality! #CheriePartner

Editorial ULTRA COLOR Mask Eye Look
Don’t you guys just love experimenting with color? I figure it’s only a matter of time before we start seeing more editorial eyeshadow looks paired with masks. I went kind of crazy here with this one but I ended up loving it a lot! Wouldn’t wear it to the grocery store though... 😂 Here’s my how to and my thoughts on each product I used: Brows. Brush out your brow hairs. Apply a tinted brow gel and a brow pencil to your liking. I used e.l.f. - Ultra Precise Brow Pencil e.l.f. - Wow Brow Gel these are wonderful drugstore options. I have repurchased each of them multiple times and tbh I don’t really understand overspending on brow products. Base. Lightly conceal your eyelid + undereye. I blended it out with my finger. I used Milk MAKEUP - Flex Concealer which is one of my favorites, however I am no longer supporting milk makeup in light of their past racist actions in their internal corporate culture. I then set the concealer on my eyelid with a neutral powder. The craze begins. I am using the URBAN DECAY - Electric Pressed Pigment Palette which is a holy grail of mine. Highly recommend this if you can get your hands on one. It lasts forever and the pigment is insane. I started out with the shade “jilted” blended out on my lower lash line up into a mini wing with e.l.f. - Eyeshadow "C" Brush —east drugstore brush, I like it a lot. The craze continues. Then I took the shade “gonzo” on MORPHE - M421 Mini Concealer Brush —I used this brush as a liner brush— to outline my top liner and my crease for later. Then I blended the blue out upward with my favorite blending brushes MORPHE - M433 Pro Firm Blending Fluff Brush MORPHE - M456 Mini Firm Blending Brush . GLITTER! I took the #Tarte - Glitter Liner[products]#[ThreeStars] which is OK IMO but I don’t support Tarte anymore and this burns my eyes. This is the only glitter liner I had tho. Sorry. I took this to line my crease, I have hooded eyes so I went high, and I used it as an outer liner and connected them. Even crazier. Then I took MORPHE - M421 Mini Concealer Brush and wet it with MILANI - Make It Last Prime + Correct + Set Setting Spray , dipped it in “jilted” and covered my eyelid with it. Liner + Lashes: Then I took URBAN DECAY - Perversion Waterproof Fine-Point Eye Pen which is my NEW FAV! I lined over our blue line from earlier and drew high and low lines on the wing to leave space for the glitter to poke through a little diamond. I then finished the look with Milk MAKEUP - Kush Waterproof Mascara —this is awful, don’t use it—and some extra lil lines I found portrayed lashes in an abstract way. I finished up my repeating on the opposite side with different colors. It’s not perfect, but it’s fun! #CheriePartner

MILANI Lip Plumping Gloss 💋
I picked up MILANI - Keep It Full Nourishing Lip Plumper in Champagne at Ulta today and decided to give it a go! I’m not particularly blessed in the lip region, both in size and natural color, so anything that promises to give me a boost is worth a shot! Picture 1: naked lips (and skin... getting ready to go cut my grass, so I didn’t bother with makeup this morning! 😜) Picture 2: after a couple minutes with gloss on. No noticeable plumping, unfortunately. Picture 3: gloss after I applied NYX - Slide On Lip Pencil in Nude Suede Shoes (HELLO OVERLINING) with the gloss on top Verdict: The gloss doesn’t really plump. But it is really pretty, and slides on really well over a nice liner! And for $8... it’s worth it. Now off to do a wear test with yard work in the super heat and humidity! Let’s see how these wear!

Loveliest Drugstore Bronzer!
MILANI - Silky Matte Bronzing Powder DISCLAIMER: I am quite pale, and in the photo there’s multiple layers to show the shade against my skin. I wouldn’t normally apply that much to my face. This bronzer is in shade “sun kissed”. It’s also available in: sun light, sun tan, and sun drenched. I don’t really care for bronzers that provide a shimmer as I want them to look as natural as possible, and that alone gives me the option to add my own highlighter if I want to. This bronzer provides me just that! It gives me a very natural bronzed look, which I love since fake tanning my face with a mousse or a mist just comes off with cleansing and toning, etc. This definitely gives a lovely illusion that I spent time outside when I haven’t haha. This product is great because it layers really well. You can make this product darker by applying more. Some days I want to look more natural and some days I prefer a stronger sun-kissed look. It goes on matte. I also love that this smells like coconuts!! It smells so good. It’s light-weight, and silky just as the name says. It blends so well and doesn’t leave any streaks. To me it feels high-end. This bronzer contains Argan oil which is super hydrating for your skin. This product is also vegan 🌱 It retails for around $14.99 CAD.

MILANI Makeup Picks - Vegan & Cruelty Free
#CherieCreator #Beautywithoutbarriers #CheriePartner If you are looking for affordable, vegan, cruelty free makeup, sold at a pharmacy, then MILANI is a must to check-out! I shop from Sephora often, but no other brand compares to these top three MILANI products on my list: MILANI - Stay Put Brow Color Brunette #4 I have tried numerous brow makeup, but none are as silky and smooth as this one. I buy a few at a time just to make sure I never run out. It lasts a few hours and is the perfect color for my skin complexion. Tip: After you apply foundation/lotion take a q-tip and wipe off your eyebrows, removing any extra oils. This method allows for a cleaner longer lasting application. MILANI - MILANI Baked Blush Coralina #8 This blush is absolutely stunning- everything from its texture, to the shimmery streaks gliding over the top. I use this blush all year round, with or without foundation. Since the color is vibrant you don’t need to apply much. It gives you the perfect cheeky glow! MILANI - Color Statement Matte Lipstick Matte Beauty #69 Perfect for those days that I want a more neutral look. Long lasting, and even though it is matte, it provides your lips with the perfect moisture throughout the day. Love how it smells and taste on my lips.

What typa sorcery is this lip mask?
I never tried lip masks before.. until this. I always thought that were regular lip balms so why bother?? Why have extra products when you can just use a lip balm, duh. Well that was me before I tried this MILANI - Rose Butter Lip Mask (Also affordable at $9.99) It has nourishing ingredients like rose oil, shea butter, cupuacu butter, and the OG plumping hyaluronic acid. It has a texture I can’t describe because I’ve never felt a product with this texture before lol. It’s smooth but slightly tacky, but but not tacky at all when you apply it. You can see I’ve used up a lot of it already. This is such a life saver when your lips are super chapped or cracked. 🤩When I wake up in the mornings, sometimes the sides of my lips are dry so when I open my mouth, that’s when I get the cracks, *small ouch*. Or those times your lips are extra dry/chapped in they start hurting (especially now that temperatures are dipping in NYC). IDK IF THIS IS SOME SORT OF MAGIC ✨ but when I put it on, I immediately stop feeling the pain. I swear. It’s not numbing nor does it have a “cooling” effect but it immediately soothes the pain and your lips are instantaneously moisturized. What typa sorcery?? Idk if it’s just me so try it and let me knowww (I’m very passionate about this lip mask as u can tell cause I’m never this enthusiastic)

Lip Filler— where?! | Lip Care Essentials
General Thoughts: The Rose Lip Scrub and accompanying Rose Lip Butter by Milani Cosmetics has been an absolute game-changer for my lip care routine; especially considering the fact that most people do not, it has quickly become a staple for my self-care and maintenance. How I Discovered: While rummaging through my collection of products, I realized this was in my kit! Seeing that I’m typically apprehensive of lip scrubs as they usually do not remove any stubborn, dry, flaky skin that persists on my lips. The only other lip scrub I’ve tried is the E.L.F. Lip Scrub Stick, and it isn't the most effective, which only further propagated my excitement for incorporating the scrub into my routine. Usage and Product Notes: I Simply start with bare, dry lips and begin with a pea-sized amount of the Rose Scrub to start. The granules of sugar are appropriately sized so that you aren't cutting into the surface of the lips, but rather allows for complete removal of dryness on the surface of the lips. After gently, be generously cleansing the lip of any crusty bits, follow up with the Rose Butter Lip Mask— a velvety-rich lip mask with the consistency of condensed milk and full of lip-smacking ingredients such as nourishing rose oil— and leave it on for a minimum of 2 hours (or overnight) to see instantly fuller, softer, hydrated, plumped lips without a trip to the aesthetic nurse! Best for: These two are a must-have for those who struggle with dry lips, especially with the frequent use of masks in our daily lives; but also, for those with big lips who find the traditional lip scrub and balm do not work for them.

Milani Cosmetics Make It Last
Milani Cosmetics Make It Last Setting Powder is a more affordable drugstore alternate to the infamous Laura Mercier Setting Powder. This is an ultra-fine translucent loose powder that seals in makeup and extends wear. It is also infused with light-reflecting pigments to diffuse fine lines and imperfections which I definitely need!

Another one of my favorites is the milani blushes. They are so good. Not too powdery, applied on very easily with no fallout. Has some shimmer in it too so sometimes it feels like a highlighting powder. Super affordable and cheap! Can be found at Ulta or Walmart.
