My top 2 Fall eyeshadow palletes 😍
When I think of Fall I think of rich coppers, golds, and browns etc. so I’ve been reaching for these two every time I leave my house lately!
Smith & Cult Book of Eyes 👀
Noon suite
Available on Beautylish for $44
I really love this eyeshadow formula. It can be used wet or dry to make totally different looks. The colors always come out super vibrant. A bit expensive for a quad but the quality is there. The coppers and brown create such beautiful fall looks! Especially evening looks 😍
butter LONDON - Natural Goddess Eyeshadow Palette
This is one of my top 10 favorite palletes ever!! I know some aren’t crazy about but I love it. There is little fall out for me and the formula is really silky and buttery and this was just made for Fall!! There are so many looks you can create with this one and I love the pop of blue 💙 I believe you can still buy this one at Kohl’s last on sale for $12.80 😳
Tell me your favorite fall pallete!! If you have any recommendations for coppers and browns let me know as well!!

Fairy dust lip sparkle🧚🏻
butter LONDON - Glazen Lip Glaze
This isn’t so much a gloss because it’s not as glossy but rather super sparkly. They actually call it a lip glaze (personally I haven’t heard this term used much). It’s not very moisturizing but it does have a ton of glitter ✨
I bought this at Ulta because of how glittery it was. It has great stay power but make sure to use lip balm or something moisturizing underneath it as it can feel drying after a while. Also the sparkles get everywhere and it’s hard to get completely rid of them! But I like this because it looks cute in photos and I love anything sparkly or glittery!
I got this in the “fairy dust”🧚🏻♀️ it has more sparkle than any underlying color. It’s supposed to have an underlying iridescent shimmer (separate from the sparkles) and I don’t notice it much unless I apply a ton of it. I’m not sure if they have any other colors than this one though.
I think this lip glaze is fun to experiment looks with and has an awesome shine

The Perfect Autumn Nail Polish Colour 🍂
butter LONDON - Patent Shine 10X Nail Lacquer in Keep Calm, I purchased for $23 CAD at Nature’s Fare, a local health store chain.
I’m really loving the fall colours this season AND I love “nude” shades, so this was the perfect in between for me. The nail polish is like a brownish-orangish auburn, making me feel very classy and sleek, like that btchhh 💅🏽
This cruelty-free, vegan nailpolish is 10-free, so NO formadelhyde, formaldehyde resin, DBP, toluene, camphor, ethyl tosylamide, xylene, parabens, gluten and TPHP. These ingredients may either pause adverse effects for some people in the long run or the short term (eg gluten). I like that the scent of this nailpolish isn’t as strong as that of the traditional kind. It also contains some good stuff, such as bamboo extract, Shea buter, green tea extract, shock resistance polymer technology, papaya oil, aloe vera, which maintain smoothness and strength of the nails for less breakage.
The only reason I gave it a 4 ⭐️ is because I can’t whatsoever get away with just applying one coat like I sometimes am able to do with other nail polishes AND I noticed that the tips of my nails are still white, which I’ll have to intentionally go over next time.

Fall Nail Wardrobe 💅🏻
With fall here, I love switching up my nail colors to compliment my outfits and keep my hands on theme with the seasons. Here are my favorite polishes for fall!
Starting, deborah lippmann - Gel Lab Pro Nail Color I love a cool/neutral toned red, and this delivers on all fronts. It’s creamy and opaque and glides on nails easily with little running, meaning little clean-up. It compliments all skin tones, and looks great from light to deep nails. It’s very festive, but classy for all occasions and can be dressed up or down— it looks so cute with fall neutrals like caramel or camel colours! I go about 12-13 days without chipping or peeling, and it stays very shiny.
Next is OPI - Infinite Shine Nail Polish Strengthening in Ginger’s Revenge. This is a deep blood red, one of my favorites for fall. I love the bougie and spooky feel it gives, while being dark and neutral enough to match with all of my outfits. I love wearing it with black and gunmetal/silver accessories to really amp up the cool vampy vibe.
Third, a nice berry is a must! essie - Longwear Nail Polish is super shiny and doesn’t chip until about 11 days in. It looks polished and put together, but still super fun. If I want something pink hued I’ll go for this, as it’s still red enough to not look out of place with my other fall colours. It looks super professional, and I love wearing it on my shorter natural nails at the start of fall for a nice transition shade into darker colours without feeling too vampy. Chipping is not an issue I noticed, I took the colour off before any happened.
FLOSS GLOSS - Candy Paint Job is a deep sparkly grape purple, and is to die for. I love this for holiday parties or New Years when I don’t want a traditional red. I always get comments on how pretty this is, it looks like liquid glitter on the nail even when dry. Wearing white or black with these nails is elite and really lets them stand out with sparkle and shine. Chipping appears around day 8.
For lighter colours, gray and sky blue are a must. Here I have butter LONDON - Patent Shine 10X Nail Lacquer in gray, and OLIVE&JUNE - KMC which is a light cool blue. Both of these go great with warm tones, as the cool of the gray and blue plays off of more orange-y spice tones and looks super luxurious. Chipping doesn’t appear until about day 12.
Lastly, neutrals! I’ve included two— one super sheer that goes with everything, and a warmer brownish-mauve colour. Though they’re titled OLIVE&JUNE - The Spring Set I use them as transitional neutrals for fall as well. They can be played up in warmth, or made to look sheer and natural on all nails. These colours immediately give a classy natural look to all nails during the season of neutrals, and remind me of a nice warm sweater or scarf.

My try at a Vogue Runway Winter/Fall 2020 look
So I’ve said before that I’m reallly not good at makeup. When I saw this look I thought I’d give it a try because it’s pretty similar to how I did my makeup in middle school! 😂 I gave it a try anyway so I’m stepping out of my comfort zone! I think a lot of this app is encouraging people and supporting people to do things that like but aren’t necessarily comfortable with!
Extra liner is a Fall/Winter runway trend. Over lining the eyes and not much else in terms of makeup.
Here’s what I used.
NYX - Epic Wear Liner Stick
The Ordinary - Colour. Serum Foundation
butter LONDON - Plush Rush Lip Gloss
NYX - NYX Matte Bronzer
HUDA BEAUTY - Highlighter Palette – Winter Solstice Palette
butter LONDON - Power Up Mascara
Go easy on me! I’m trying 😂😂

Is anyone else a mascara hoarder, like me?
.
If I told you this wasn't even a fraction of all the mascaras I have, would you think I had a problem? I am forever in search of newer, better, fluffier lashes. These 5 all have pros and cons, but are consistently showing up in my makeup routine. Here are the (made-up) awards I'm giving them:
.
Mascara I'd Take on Desert Island: MilkMakeup Kush Mascara - The tube is METAL. and not just like material wise, it's like weapon, hard rock, big hair metal. The formula is so so so good. It doesn't have any cons in my book. It's the best one in my collection right now.
.
Simplest, Easiest, Minimalist: ButterLondon Power Up - One coat and this leaves my lashes separated, pumped up but not dramatic. Such a good one for minimal makeup days, and the formula doesn't flake or smear. Numero Dos in my collection.
.
Equivalent to a Push-Up Bra Mascara: MarcJacobsBeauty Velvet Noir is a formula and brush that PUMPS your lashes UP. Add the primer before hand and it's almost obscene how fat and juicy your lashes are. Not gonna lie, it does flake a lil' so it's reserved for shorter mascara wear times.
.
Mascara I Forget About, Then Use and Can't Figure Out Why I Forget About It: Benefit Bad Girl Bang. I use it, am impressed, and then subsequently forget I have it, and then repeat the cycle probably every 6 days. It's a good formula and the brush really separates lashes nicely, I just am always forgetting about it. I dunno what that says about it, or about me.
.
And the final award goes to ItCosmetics SuperHero Mascara for having the most awkward bottle that doesn't fit in my makeup tower very well, but it's a good formula, so I keep it out because the inconvenience is worth it to me because of how good of a mascara it is.

Mascara Mishap
So I’m slowing trying to get into make up and tried mascara for the first time and was not impressed with this product.I received this from IPSY and was the first mascara product I received from my my subscription boxes. When I applied it to my lashes,it made them thick and clumpy.Despite the mascara making my lashes clumpy the shade of black matched my eyelashes.I don’t think this product is from me since I want a mascara to make my lashes longer instead of thicker since I already have thickish lashes.Hopefully I’ll fine one soon

If I could only have one eyeshadow palette
I received this eyeshadow palette when I subscribed to BoxyCharm. I rarely do eye makeup, and when I do, I want to keep it simple. I like the butter LONDON - Natural Goddess Eyeshadow Palette since all the colors go well with my eye color(brown) and skin tone(light tan with warm/neutral undertone). This features 4 colors that has a shimmer finish, and 2 with matte. The 4 ones are in the nude-ish shades and the 2 are in the green color family. The only “loud” color here is the Femme Fatale, but even that can be toned down.
I am a complete noob when it comes to makeup brushes so I like it that I can just apply it with my fingertips. I can go either with one color or build it up for a dramatic look. This palette goes well with other eyeshadow palettes if you want to play more with colors. I find that this goes well with my Urban Decay Ultimate Basics Palette. It feels so silky, has great color pay off and it doesn’t have much fall out. I always take this palette whenever I travel!

Products for Peeling, Achy Lips
Last month, I got a mild allergic reaction on my lips.
They were peeling for days, and the skin around my mouth was very dry.
Some lipsticks irritated them even more, sending it into an ugly cycle.
Finally, I was able to heal my lips with hydrocortisone. But I didn't want to give up makeup or balm as it healed.
So here, I'm highlighting a few products that treated my lips well when they were almost done healing.
🌊 Becca Liptuitive Glow Gloss: A very liquidy, HYPER glossy formula. It changes to a warm pink on your lips, and has moisturizing avocado & jojoba seed oils. Jojoba oil is a humectant, meaning it creates a seal around your skin that prevents it from losing moisture. Perfect for soft lips.
🌿 Smith's Menthol and Eucalyptus Balm: Made by the same company that makes rosebud salve. This one is just as moist and comfortable, but with soothing mint. I put it on in the day for a healthy looking gloss.
🌰 Butter London Sheer Wisdom Lush Lip Oil in Rich Nutmeg: One of my favorite daily products for soft lips. It feels like a thin oil, but stays on with even opacity. Even after most of it comes off, it leaves a healthy glow behind.
🧁 Glossier Balm Dot Com: A rich, emollient balm that keeps your lips moisture-locked over night. I would 100% purchase it again. I got it in the shade Birthday, which is sheer with added glitter. I do recommend getting it without glitter, though, just because it stayed stuck around my mouth by the morning.
Out of all these products, the last two are my favorite.
If your skin is in a situation that needs a little extra love, these might be the answer to have both moisture and beauty.

Milk MAKEUP-KUSH High Volume Mascara
My trick for making my eyes pop!
When I really want to accentuate my eyes, I never reach for just *one* mascara. I want to have my cake and eat it to, so I love cocktailing multiple mascara to get the best volume, length, and curl I can. Sometimes this results in clumpy lashes, sometimes it results in lash perfection. Here I am wearing the MAC - In Extreme Dimension 3D Black Lash Mascara which gave good length to my lashes but not a lot of lift. The curled wand from the butter LONDON - Oh My, How High! Lengthening Mascara mascara really brought in the curl and lift to my lashes so that they look full and long. This is my go-to trick to making my eyes pop when I’m doing my makeup!
MAC-In Extreme Dimension 3D Black Lash Mascara
Mascara Review: What I loved and hated
Mascara Roundup :
Glamour Dolls “Essentials”: this is just a big NO for me...the brush looked promising at first but after using it twice the curve of the wand straightened completely out. Also the 1st time I tried to open the mascara, the pink plastic cover came off of the wand handle… but it is only $5 🤷🏻♀️
Butter London “Power Up” ($20): this is another no for me…the creamy formula is nice & it does define & lengthen lashes eventually (after about 4-5 coats 😳) but it isn’t volumizing. Pros: I didn’t experience any flaking or smudging & it’s water-resistant
Too Faced “Better Than Sex” ($24): this used to be my go-to & I recently got a new tube in my boxycharm so I wanted to review it. It has a unique hourglass wand that volumizes well w/o clumping lashes. My only complaint is that some of it “sheds” to the below my eyes t/o the day (but it doesn’t happen every time I use it). All-in-all, a solid mascara!
Maybelline “Define-A-Lash”: I decided to start testing some “drugstore mascaras” b/c there seems to be a lot of good alternatives (under $10) to luxury brand ones ($20-30 each). I bought this one ($8) b/c the wand reminds me of one of my favs by Buxom (good for separating, defining & lengthening) but this wand is a lot smaller & I def prefer the Buxom. I do like using this for my lower lashes, though!
Grande Cosmetics ”Grande Mascara” ($25): I really like this soft, creamy formula (it’s infused w/ a blend of peptides & natural waxes to condition lashes & promote healthier-looking lashes over time); I was hesitant about the brush at first sight (it’s straight & on the smaller side) but it does lengthen & volumize lashes suprisingly well (w/o clumping). It’s water-resistant but also easily removable to help prevent lash breakage
Wander Beauty ”Mile High Club” ($26): this brush also made me hesitant when I first saw it (long, thin & straight) but I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how well it lengthens & volumizes lashes w/o clumping, smudging or flaking. The formula is also ultra soft/creamy (infused w/ castor seed oil) & it contains trehalose + peach leaf extract to help strengthen, condition & prevent breakage
