ten minute makeup! ⏰
hello everyone! today i am showing you this ten minute makeup look! its not too natural, but its natural enough to be able to wear anywhere☺️ lts also very easy to do! dont forget to follow and cheer for more😇 i personally have very oily and acne prone skin, and also very pale skin, so that can make it pretty hard to find a good foundation. my main concern is coverage and resistance to oil. my main goal with all of my makeup looks though is to highlight my eyes, as they are my favorite part of my face😄 so, i started with an oil-control primer, COVERGIRL - TruBlend Face Primer . they make different types of this primer, and i bought the mattifying one. one way to save time in your makeup rountine is to get a fast drying primer like this one! after that, i use a pretty decent amount of my all time favorite foundation, Juvia's PLACE - I am Magic Velvety Matte Foundation in the shade alexandria. this foundation is amazing! it has a semi matte, velvet finish, and is very high coverage. it lasts all day and comes in 40 different shades! next, i go in with my e.l.f. - 16HR Camo Concealer in the shade light peach. i put this under my eyes, and on my lid. i dont usually have to conceal any zits, as my foundation does that for me! i set all of this with my e.l.f. - Perfect Finish HD Powder , which helps control oil throughout the day. i then move onto the eyes. for this look i used a single shade from the COLOURPOP - COLOURPOP X Mulan Eyeshadow Palette called “imperial” above my crease and under the eye. i topped off my lid with a COLOURPOP - Colourpop Super Shock Shadow called “frog” to add dimension to my eyes. after that, i finished off with mascara. because my eyelashes are one of my favorite features, i never, NEVER, forget mascara. it makes my eyes pop! for this i use my favorite mascara, L'ORÉAL - Voluminous Original Mascara and i apply a few coats. i finished with a new favorite, COLOURPOP - Crème Lux Lipstick Hua Mulan . this lipstick is AMAZING! it has a lot of pigment, and its not too orange or too brown. its also not too dark but not too light. you know what i mean?😂 not only is the color very nice, but its extremely creamy. it feels moisturizing, not drying, even though its semi-matte. it also lasts for a long time too! 👄 and thats it!! this took me about ten minutes, and basically i just focused on making myself presentable😂lemme know your quick makeup rountine in the comments! #CheriePartner

MERMAID inspired makeup!🧜🏼‍♀️🌊🐚
hello everyone! today i am sharing a more wearable mermaid inspired makeup look!🧜🏼‍♀️ theres a big trend online to do mermaid inspired makeup, and although they look amazing, it would be a little weird to wear them out. this makeup i created is very intense, but its still wearable!😌 the point of the trend is to use purples, greens, and blues to emulate a mermaid. a lot people do scales on their face, but i would like this to be more wearable😊 so, heres how i got this look! dont forget to follow and cheer for more! i started with my e.l.f. - Poreless Putty Primer as normal. then, i applied my Juvia's PLACE - I am Magic Velvety Matte Foundation in alexandria. this foundation is great for people like me who have very pale/very dark skin and oily skin!☺️ i used my e.l.f. - 16HR Camo Concealer under the eyes as normal, and set with my e.l.f. - Perfect Finish HD Powder as normal. i dusted my COLOURPOP - Colourpop Pressed Powder Blush in “whole nine yards” as usual, just to add some color to my face. then comes the fun part-the eyes! 👁 i used my PLOUISE - Base Shade - Rumour in “1” as an eyeshadow base. without eyeshadow base, your eyeshadow will crease and not look as bright! i then started my eye shadow with a light lilac shade from colourpop called “heiress” above my crease. i deeped it with a darker purple called “try me”. both of these are COLOURPOP - Colourpop Pressed Powder Shadow !😃 i then used one of my all time favorite palettes, and an essential to this look- COLOURPOP - Blue Moon Shadow Palette 🌙. this palette is SOO pigmented and beautiful! i used the shade intense blue “fine china” on my outer corner, and put “tide pool” on my outer corner to add shimmer. i used “lumi” as a highlighter on my cheek and brow bone. lumi is the most beautiful, iridescent eyeshadow i have EVER used!😍 i used the mint blue shade “haze” from the HUDA BEAUTY - Mercury Retrograde Eyeshadow Palette on my lower lash line, and COLOURPOP - Crème Gel Liner in “ice breaker” in my water line. the most essential part to this look in my opinion was the COLOURPOP - Colourpop Glitter Gel in “disco lady”! this glitter is a stunning, reflective “pastel rainbow” glitter! it looks a bit like scales and added so much to this look! i put it on my lid and in my inner corner. i finished off with my all time favorite L'ORÉAL - Voluminous Original Mascara and then added a pop to my lips using MILANI - Ludicrous Lip Gloss in “beaming light” to add an amazing blue shine to my lips! u can see it alot better in person🙂 and viola! im casually a mermaid😎 lemme know what you think of this look and if you would wear it!💖 #CheriePartner

I love love LOVE Juvia’s Place. This is a wonderful brand and good quality. The packaging that these products come in is simply a-ma-zing! It’s so beautiful I barely wanted to take them out when I got them. This company definitely cares about the details. Juvia's PLACE - The Saharan Eyeshadow Palette Juvia's PLACE - Afrique Eyeshadow Palette Juvia's PLACE - The Nubian 3 Eyeshadow Palette Juvia's PLACE - The Nubian Eyeshadow Palette These are a few of the many palettes they offer and I just love how pigmented they are and how smooth they go on so vibrant and pretty. Juvia's PLACE - The Saharan Gel Eyeliner I bought with the intention of using them to fill in my eyebrows and they work perfect for that. I never really been a fan of gel eyeliner I prefer using a pencil. Juvia's PLACE - I Am Magic Concealer Is very thin and oily an great for the under eye area only for me.. Juvia's PLACE - Juvia’s PLACE Shade Sticks Is creamy and oily it’s good for contouring but make sure when using this or the concealer, if you have oily skin, that you use a good powder or powder oil primer because from my experience I was really shiny when I didn’t. Juvia's PLACE - The Festival Liquid Lipstick I love this lipstick they have the best liquid lipsticks EVER! make sure you use oil to remove it off your lips because bay-bee! Once this lipstick dries it stays on through every sip an conversation you have Okurr! Juvia's PLACE - I am Magic Velvety Matte Foundation I used this once and wasn’t really a fan of the texture or the coverage but I may do another review at a later time if I give it another try. I’m not sure yet..

Juvia’s I am Magic Review and West Test 🧡✨
Hey Cherie Beauties, I purchased Juvia’s I am Magic foundation and concealer recently. I did an 8 hour wear test to see how this wears throughout the day. I was matched with the shade “540 Giza” which is a medium foundation with a cool to neutral undertones. However, that shade was sold out at the time so I went to the next neutral shade which is in 500 Bogota. Bogota is a medium to tan shade. The shade that I got is definitely darker than my neck. That’s my fault though because I picked a medium tan shade knowing I’m on the light medium range. Getting the wrong match shade will definitely make you dislike the foundation. I ignored that part and focus on the formula and how it wore throughout the day instead. This foundation is full coverage and has a thick consistency. I didn’t like how it feel on the skin because I’m used to light weight foundations. It is comparable to KVD’s lock it foundation. However, this covered EVERYTHING. Every single flaws and made my skin look so flawless. It has a velvety matte finish which I prefer than full on matte. This didn’t cake up either despite being a full coverage foundation. I walked my dog and did a light resistance training sesh and this definitely stayed and barely budged! I was pretty impressed. I thought this was too dark, but it looked like it settled on my skin throughout the day and blended. My only complaint is the packaging. I love pumps and I had trouble figuring out how much to use because this doesn’t have one. I will definitely wear this on my super glam days, but not on the daily. Juvia's PLACE - I am Magic Velvety Matte Foundation For the concealer, I got the shade J19 which is a medium with neutral undertone. This reminded me of my ELF 16 hour camo concealer and my shape tape. I love full coverage and this covered my dark circles and brightened up my under eye. It was easy to blend unlike ELF’s camo concealer. I also love the dewy finish. A little goes a long way and I can tell this will last me a long time. Juvia's PLACE - I Am Magic Concealer Overall, I am very impressed with the products so far. The quality is great for the price and I love how it is black owned. My only complaint is the shipping and order processing. My order arrived 3 weeks later so if you’re for planning something special and want these right away, I would invest in express shipping or get this at Ulta. I am excited to try their other eyeshadow palettes! I want the Wahala palette and the shade sticks to use for contour. Have you tried anything from Juvia’s place? It’s worth the hype for sure! Pumpkin Spice Eyes 🎃 🍁🧡🍂
Hey there! I played with my new warrior palette today from Juvia’s Place 🧡 To be honest, I was going for a smokey brown eyes today and didn’t realize that this is the perfect fall palette. This has caramel, butterscotch and gold shades so I took the opportunity to make another fall eye look 😜 Anyway to get this pumpkin look, I used: 1) Kano as a transition 2) Benin on the crease 3) Mino to deepen the crease. Focus most of the color in the outer v of your eye. 4) Ahosi to buff out the edges and harsh lines 5) Idia all over the lid 6) Bakwa on top Idia 7) Moremi on the inner corner and brow highlight 8)Use Kano, Benin and Mino on the lower lash 9) Add liner and mascara. I used Stila’s all day liner and Essence lash princess mascara 10) Use a white or nude liner to tight line. I used Colourpop’s creme gel liner in Exit. I love the formula of these shadows. I’m upset at myself for not trying Juvia’s anytime sooner. I’m obsessed! I want more! What’s your favorite eye palette? Francesca 💋

DIY Microblading? 🤔 🖋
Hey Cherie beauties! I finally got Benefit’s new brow microfilling pen! This has been sold out for the longest time and once I saw it finally available on Sephora, I added to my cart right away. I got my brows microbladed 2 years ago and it’s honestly so life changing! It was worth every penny I spent on it and worth the pain. My brows never looked this good. I was supposed to get an annual touch up this year, but shelter in place hit and my brow artist isn’t taking any appointments and I don’t know when I will get my touch up, but I don’t think it’s any time soon. When Benefit announced this, I was over the moon about it because I can see that my brows are fading a bit. This would be a good product to use until I can get a touch up. I got the shade in dark brown which is the darkest shade and I’m glad I got the it. This may be the dark shade, but I could use a deeper shade. If you’re on a fence which shade to get I would definitely go with the darker shade. This is a subtle change, but makes my brows look fuller. It still looks natural. The applicator is easy to use and you can easily control how subtle or dramatic your brows you want to look. I did a light resistance training sesh last night and this stayed. However, I used a brow gel so I’m not sure if that changes things. My only complaint is it takes some time getting used to so practice makes perfect. Overall I am very happy with this product! It’s such a game changer. You can now get temporary microbladed brows without committing to the actual tattoo. Benefit slayed it again! 😍😍😍 What is your HG brow product? Would you consider getting this? Let me know in the comments down below.

90s Makeup Trend: Blue Eyes and Nude Lips
So, we’re all back in the 90s as far as fashion trends are concerned. Thankfully, we’re keeping this decade’s eyebrows! I decided to try out two 90s inspired makeup looks with different shades of blue from the MORPHE - The James Charles Palette . My light look was created using the shade “Hello” all over the lid and crease, and running a bit of “Playgroung” on my lower lash line, and onto the outer half of my upper lash line. This added a little definition and brightness to the pale blue base. The light shimmery blue all over the eye and crease felt super retro and fun! ❄️🧚🏻👗 My dark look was created using the shade "Brother" all over the lid and blended into the crease, and "A capella" tapped onto the centre of the eyelid. This rich, dark version of the 90s blue eyeshadow trend felt much more modern and striking. 🧵🌊🌏 These looks are great for brown eyes - as you can see - but there are really no rules! You could achieve a toned down version of this look by lining your eyes with blue shades and adding lashings of mascara! Or pairing a navy blue or turquoise waterline with a bronze or copper upper lid! Don't be afraid of the blue! 2020 is the time to realise your colourful makeup dreams. Complexion Details 👸🏻 If you were interested in my complexion products, I used the ESTĒE LAUDER - Double Wear Stay-in-Place Foundation in the shade 1C0 Shell, the REVOLUTION - Conceal & Define Full Coverage Concealer in the shade C1, the Revlon Sculpt + Highlight Contour Kit in Light/Medium, and a touch of Juvia's PLACE - The Saharan Blush Palette shade Yara to warm up the apples of my cheeks slightly. Lip Details 💄💋 I did a DIY lip colour to get the 90s nude look. I put some L.A. Girl - L.A. Girl Luxury Creme Lipstick in the shade Teddy around the edges of my lips, and patted some Covergirl Colorliscious Lipstick in the shade 230 in the centre (I think this line is discontinued!) Skin Details: I have fairly dry and fairly sensitive skin. I am very fair, too. I live in Brisbane, so the weather is getting more humid by the day, and is generally very sunny.

Jackie Aina Teaches Us about Mask-Proof Makeup
Wearing a mask is an easy thing you can do every day to be a more responsible member of your community. however, a mask can do a number on your makeup, especially if you are wearing one for several hours a day. To give your makeup the best chance, try some of these tips from YouTube beauty guru Jackie Aina. Not only does Jackie have arguably the best personality on the platform, but she knows a thing or two about long-wearing, matte makeup. In her recent video, she shows us how to do makeup that outlasts a mask, so we can be responsible and snatched. 1️⃣ Use a primer before your complexion routine. This improves texture, longevity and overall look. 2️⃣ Tap a light layer of translucent powder over your primed face BEFORE using complexion products. It may seem strange, but Jackie swears by this technique and says it makes her foundation last way longer. 3️⃣ Forego dewy products for matte products where possible. Matte foundations have a longer wear time whilst dewy products tend to slip around more. 4️⃣ Use a high coverage long-wearing concealer under your eyes, and set this well with loose powder. Most masks settle close to the undereyes, so setting this area will reduce the negative effects of friction from your mask. 5️⃣ Use a little bit more of your complexion products than usual. If your mask is going to rub off a bit of your makeup, you want to make sure you’ve laid down a complete base, so that your face isn’t ‘naked’ after a couple of hours. 6️⃣ Jackie pumps some foundation onto the back of her hand, picks some up with a brush and sprays some Ben Nye “Final Seal” onto the brush. Final Seal is used to seal in a smudge- and water-resistant makeup look, like a setting spray. Mixing it into your foundation will incorporate the sweat-resistant properties into the application. 7️⃣ Remember to set along your chin area, perhaps more so than usual, as this area will take a beating from a mask as well. 8️⃣ You can make your eyes pop with a strong mascara application or a set of false lashes, to draw attention to your eyes and keep you looking glamorous while wearing a mask. 9️⃣ As above, stick to matte, powder formulas for blush and highlighter as these are less likely to slip around and can be sealed in with a setting spray. 🔟 Swap your lipgloss for a lipstick or lip stain - you don’t want to leave sticky globs of gloss on the inside of your mask and risk getting some on your matte and snatched complexion work. Added tip: lip liner increases the longevity of just about any lip product! *️⃣ Douse yourself in setting spray and fan yourself dry to seal your makeup in and give it the best chance at surviving your busy day! If you prefer a dewy makeup look, try incorporating your dew here at the end with a dewy-finish or slightly shimmery setting spray. That way, you get to achieve some shine without compromising your makeup

Review and swatches-MASQUERADE by Juvias place
I recently got my hands on the masquerade mini by Juvias place. This palette, as with every other Juvias place palette, is stunning! Before the review, let’s get into the palette composition: The palette is split into two halves. The top half is bright and colorful and the bottom half is all browns and nudes. I love this because it gives so many options for different looks in one palette. Shade makeup: 16 total shades with: 9 shimmers: -Chi (deep blue) -Mali (teal-ish green) -Dalia (bright blue) -Zola (bright turquoise) -Makeda (bright purple) -Calabar (browny maroon) -Giza (bright champagne) -Dahia (much deeper bronzer champagne) -Casablanca (deep golden bronze) -5 mattes: -Zobo (deep plum) -Burkina (medium brown) -Ada (dark reddish brown) -Zulu (medium brown with red undertones) -Fulani (a deeper brown) And 2 mattes with glitter: -Bori (bright pink with gold glitter) -Cairo (brick color with gold glitter) There are seven shades with eye safety warnings (just under half of the pallete) most likely due to red pigments that can cause irritation or staining. The shades are Zobo, Bori, Burkina, Cairo, Ada, Zulu, and Casablanca. I didnt experience any irritation with any of these but you can patch test to make sure. I did experience staining but only with Bori. I would definitely recommend this palette! The Juvias place eyeshadow formula, especially the shimmer shades, is so fantastic. Their shades always have so much pigment and they are very blendable and easy to build and work with. I love that this palette can be used to make neutral looks or bold looks easily! I’m not a huge fan of the mattes with glitter but there are only two and they are still very usable. I would definitely recommend picking up the mini version of the palette like I did and not the full size because the mini (which retails for $25) is plenty big enough and I probably won’t pan any shades for a while! If you’re looking for a great palette with awesome shimmers and bright colors I’d definitely go for Juvia's PLACE - The Masquerade Palette (Juvias place is a cruelty free black owned brand with products inspired by African culture. Even if you don’t get this palette I’d definitely take a look at the brand and I’ve swatched and reviewed a few of their palettes on my profile if you want to check them out!)
