FALL WEDDING EYESHADOW TO MATCH YOUR EYE COLOR ✨
When you think of fall wedding makeup, warm tones are usually the go-to eye look. This makeup look is personally not my style but I do feel as if it would look perfect for a fall event such as a wedding/bridal shower etc. The look I created suits brown eyes well but I will share some tips to swap out the shades to compliment different eye colors. About me: I have medium brown colored eyes I have a neutral undertone (leans towards golden) I have larger eyes with lots of lid space Products used: HUDA BEAUTY - Rose Gold REMASTERED Eyeshadow Palette (matte shades are a little chalky but the glitters work well) Charlotte Tilbury - Pillow Talk Push Up Lashes! Mascara MAC - MAC Lip Pencil (bespoken) wet n wild - MegaLast Matte Lip Color ARDELL - Wispies Lash LAURA GELLER - Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator How to eye makeup: I created a pictorial to help show the placement of the eyeshadow. - I started off by putting bae all over the lid (4) - I placed sandalwood in the crease/brow bone area as a transitional shade (5) - I then put man eater and bossy into the crease extending it to the outer corner (2) - Then I did a slight cut crease with NARS - Radiant Creamy Concealer and placed the shades #blessed and 24k in the center and inner corner lid. (1) - Next, I used black truffle and coco on the outer corner and blended. (3) - I then smoked out man eater and bossy on the lower lash line. (2) - Lastly I applied mascara, false lashes and added LAURA GELLER - Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator for an inner corner highlight. Match the look to your eye color: For brown eyes: use more of the shade #blessed on the lid as it is more bronze and will compliment the eyes nicely. Also, use more of the sandalwood as it is a warm brown and will look make your brown eyes stand out. For blue eyes: use more of the 24k on the lid as the gold will compliment the eyes. Also, use more of the sandalwood as the orange shade will make the eyes pop. For green eyes: use more of the 24k on the lid as the gold will compliment the eyes. Also, you can skip the sandalwood transition shade and swap it out for bossy. The red shadows will make the eyes pop. #CheriePartner

Lazy Makeup: Worth a Splurge (Shade-Tropic Hues)
I got this product in a box when I had a BoxyCharm subscription and I’m so glad I got it! I would probably never go for a $29 blush but this one is my go to every day blush! I’ve had it for probably a year and haven’t even hit pan yet. I don’t wear a lot of makeup but I use this on my cheeks or as eyeshadow it’s just so pretty. It’s glowy without being overly glittery and really just makes you look awake and nice! I highly recommend this product if you’re too lazy to do blush and highlighter because it’s kind of a combination (hence the blush n brighten name) and honestly it lasts longer than most foundations! This shade is Tropic Hues but there are tons of different shades for different skin tones. LAURA GELLER - Blush-n-Brighten Baked Blush

Fav blushes for fair skin!
✨These 2 blushes are my absolute favorite my fair skin! I use them on myself & on my clients. One is shimmery & one is matte & they are different brands & price points! I love them both equally as they work perfect for my skin tone. ✨What are the claims? Laura Geller Baked Blush N Brighten creates a gorgeous flush, no matter the season. It starts as a cream 24 hour blush that is baked for 24 hours to ensure a smooth, lustrous, long wearing formula. In the shade Tropic hues, it has swirls of coral, pink & bronze. Mac Cosmetics Blush is designed by & made for professionals, formulated to provide fantastic Color with ease & consistency. Applies evenly, adheres lightly to skin to achieve a natural looking application of color. ✨The texture/Consistency of each is very different; the Laura Geller is very pigmented & easy to use, the product practically falls out of the pan it’s pressed so light! The Mac cosmetics, is harder to get out of the pan but pigmented just the same. ✨My thoughts? I’ve used both of these blushes for the past couple months & I love them equally! They both worth great & give me the best peach glow. My skin tone is very fair & these give me the perfect natural blush look without being too pink or too brown. I love using these ontop of my bronzer in the hollows of my cheeks for a glam look. I use them separate depending on when I want a matte or shimmery look. The Laura Geller is slightly more pink than the Mac cosmetics one. ✨Price Vs Size? Laura Geller is $29USD & Mac is $25 so they are a bit pricey but worth it! My go-to makeup base
It’s 95 F in Texas and I have oily skin. Do you know what that means? If I am going to wear makeup, then I need to moisturize, then mattify or the oil on my skin will eat my makeup like a contestant in a hotdog eating competition. With deep complexion and oily skin, I focus on keeping my oil at bay, concealing hyperpigmentation and smoothing my pores. I try to work with small amounts of product and build upon it to avoid looking like a cake face. I find that my makeup looks better when I do that and lasts longer. Tools: • NYX - Pro Brush 03 Multi Purpose Bufferingis the brush I recommend. (I wasn’t able to use it in the video because mine has just been washed.) In the video, I used a flat-top kabuki brush in its stead. • e.l.f. - e.l.f. Contouring Brush: I love this brush for contouring. • Undereye brush. I recommend e.l.f. - Flawless Concealer Brush Here’s what I used (in order of appearance): • Primers: boscia - Porefecting White Charcoal Mattifying Treatment Primer(formulated for oily skin with larger pores) and REVLON - Photoready Prime Plus Brightening & Skin Tone Evening Primer* • Foundation:laura mercier - Flawless Fusion Ultra-Longwear Foundationin Ganache* • Concealers: Neutrogena - New Healthy Skin Radiant Cream Concealerin Java Deep 2 and (not pictured) MAYBELLINE - Instant Anti Age Eraser Concealerin Tan and Medium. • Contour: URBAN DECAY - Stay Naked Correcting Concealerin 90NN* • Powders: SEPHORA COLLECTION - MicroSmooth Baked Foundation Face Powderin Deep, LAURA GELLER - Baked Balance-n-Brighten(not pictured) and Sleek - Face Contour Kitin Dark 886 • Setting spray: Supergoop! - Holly x Supergoop!Defense Refresh (Re)Setting Mist SPF 40is a spray that I usually use because sunscreen is important. The only thing that I don’t like is the minty smell. (not pictured) * products sent to me to review #CheriePartner

I Learned It From A Beauty Expert!
As a former makeup artist, I love researching the latest beauty tips, tricks, and hacks. So when I came across this tip while reading this article on Marie Claire, I knew I had to share it with all of you. This is tip number 20 from the article titled 30 Pro-Makeup Tips You’ve Never Heard Before: "My favorite 'look younger' makeup tip is to first use a luminizer in the inner corner, then swoop it with a fan brush underneath the eye. This brightens the face." —Deanna Melluso, celebrity makeup artist I agree 100% with this tip; it is fantastic; I feel like even if we aren't worried about signs of aging quite yet, we can all agree that having a youthful and bright glow is always welcome. Although I have already heard this tip before, I still think it is one of the best makeup tips that every woman should learn. I would apply this tip to any makeup situation. If I am doing a very minimal makeup look, I always make sure to add a dash of luminizer in the inner corner of my eyes. Add a swipe of mascara, and It truly makes your eyes pop. This is also a great tip to keep in mind while rocking a smokey eye. The whole goal when creating a smokey eye is to make it dramatic and striking without completely covering your eyes in black. Adding a dash of eye-catching shimmer or highlighter on the inner corner of your eye while brightening the whole look and bring those smoldering eyes to a whole new level. Here are a few of my favorite luminizers to use: LAURA GELLER - Baked Original Highlighter BECCA - Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter pretty VULGAR - Shimmering Swan Highlighter

I really want to like this...but🥴
Ugh I’m so sad, I was really excited about this palette! Good news is I bought it 50% off, but it is still such a bummer. Let’s get into it. Packaging:🌿 This is the worst part of the product. It just isn’t easy. The top comes completely off, which is annoying when in a hurry. This thing is also huge so it takes up loads of space, which I don’t appreciate. It would be so easy to make this packaging smaller by moving shadows closer together, or even just making it a normal shape would have been nice. It’s cute, but not practical at all. Furthermore the way the shadows are displayed makes it to where you can’t pick up product with your finger. Especially if you have long nails like me. This makes you reliant on brushes which just isn’t the same for glitter shadows in my opinion. The packaging overall is just such a hassle that it makes me not want to use the product much because of it. Shadows:🌿 There are a few neat shades in here, but a majority of them look very similar too each other. Normally I wouldn’t mind that, but the texture of these shadows I can’t stand. So now I have a bunch of near replicas that do not even look right due to how they are made. They are all powdery with a brush, and as I mentioned above, this is your only option to getting product. I dont know if I should be wetting brushes for them or not, because either way has issues. Water works a bit better, but then the product tries to slide off of your eyelid. Dry brushes in turn make it patchy. The colors are mainly shimmers with very little pigment, despite how they look in the packaging. Overall:🌿 This palette is way more work than it’s worth and for very little payoff. I’ve made some decent makeup looks with it, and it would be good for say job interviews where a soft look is expected. That being said, you can just get softer colors from other brands that you don’t have to fight with for payoff.

My favorite is the middle shade, but I’ve used all three and all are gorgeous and blinding! 2- Anastasia Beverly Hills Amrezy Highlighter is BOMB! Everyone knows it, no need to explain. 3- Colourpop Lunch Money... the texture is creamy and it looks blinding! I love this one and like all Colourpop products, affordable!

A lip scrub I don’t love
A lip scrub I don’t love
This Laura Geller Lip Strip Lip Scrub is less than impressive, but not a complete disaster. I have gone through one full mini tube, and this is actually my second one thanks to Birchbox. It is a gentle scrub designed to buff out chaps and rough lips to leave them smooth and ready for lipsticks, and the ingredients include sugar, coconut oil, wax, and peppermint oil. As a lip scrub, though, this is pretty lacking. It doesn’t have nearly enough sugar granules to give a proper exfoliation, but it’s not hydrating enough to be a lip mask pre-lipstick, either. The only reason I keep using it is because, for some reason unbeknownst to all of is, this is one of the few lip scrubs I actually haven’t lost yet. One thing I do like is the bit of refreshment that the peppermint oil provides, and it wipes away easily with a tissue before I go in to apply lipstick. This feels like it tried to be both a lip scrub and lip mask, but wasn’t very successful at either. The full-size version is .5 oz and retails for $16 on the Birchbox website, but I wouldn’t recommend this unless you have incredibly sensitive lips that can’t tolerate more gritty scrubs. On the Cherie star scale, I give this two out of five.

SHIMMER BLUSH ❤️
SHIMMER BLUSH ❤️
This LAURA GELLER - Blush-n-Brighten Baked Blush is in the shade tropic Hughes. These brushes are definitely more on the shimmery side but they don’t contain any chunks of glitter in them. So if you don’t like a glow he blushed and this probably wouldn’t be for you. Whatever I personally do like it on occasion it’s not a blush that I reach for every single day but when I do want that look it is perfect for that. We received this in a box return box and I think that it was a great thing to receive in the box because I don’t think that I would’ve paid full price for this product even though I do really enjoy it. Mostly because it’s not something that I reach for every day however the formulation is good if it is something you would reach for every day I would recommend it.

Great powder foundation
Great powder foundation
How gorgeous is this texture?! I just got my Laura Geller Balance-n-Brighten foundation and it is going to be my summer staple. Color correcting swirls of multicolored liquid pigments are baked for 24 hours on terracotta tiles, then hand-finished in Italy. The result is weightless, creamy coverage that self-adjusts to leave skin looking even, flawless and beautifully radiant. It’s made without additional fillers, so it covers with less product than traditional powders. I love that it stays put in the heat. Plus there are several shades to choose from. I got mine at QVC and they had a great deal that includes the brush.
