Love 😍
I have been a huge fan of this product for a very long time. I feel like this isn’t a product that’s going to give you amazing or overnight results. It helps to hydrate, replenish and strengthen your skin’s moisture barrier.
I personally love how quick this oil absorbs into my skin. I have combination skin and even on my more oily areas it’s not too much. It doesn’t leave that filmy greasy layer that a lot of other oil products do. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated and nourished. I especially use this as a staple in my skincare routine in the fall and winter at night. However, I usually use it all year round.
I’ve found that this product for me just keeps my skin feeling happy and healthy and gives me that lovely dewy look. I apply this after my moisturizer at night. A little goes a long way so don’t be scared off by the price. I use about 4 drops for my face and neck and just pat it into my skin.
I love love love this stuff; I highly recommend as I’ve gone through many bottles of it.

Tretinoin Journey
My skin seems getting better but I still get new breakouts 🙃 Right after when I thought ooh my skin is visibly clearer but the next day bam! new breakouts. Using the tretinoin cream has been a roller coaster. Patience is really the key here. I don’t look at myself in the mirror as much as I used too is definitely helping me get through this. The more I look the more I obsessed and frustrated. So I’m just trying to let tretinoin do it’s job🤞🏽
I’m only using trilogy - Certified Organic Rosehip Oilday and night as moisturiser. I applied it before tretinoin and apply 1 more thin layer after tretinoin. I’ve been using this oil for 3 years. And this oil is the only thing that can moisturise me enough while on tretinoin.
But, yesterday I started using Krave - Barrier Reliefas the first layer, and tretinoin second, and last rosehip oil. Hope this will help. Let me know if using 1 product is better 😂
If you have any tips for me please let me know below. Would really appreciate it in this tough journey :’)

Shelfie: great products if you live in PNW!
I have dry/sensitive skin and these products have saved me while living here in Oregon. These products are all fragrance free and many of them contain highly moisturizing ingredients like omega fatty acids, ceramides, b5, squalane, and hyaluronic acid. The mad hippie cream cleanser is surfactant free. I use The Ordinary lactic acid on my days off from using Tretinoin
Here’s my routine:
AM
Cleanse with Mad Hippie Cream Cleanser. While skin is still damp I apply my Paulas Choice Enriched Calming Toner. After this I use my Aveeno Calm + Restore triple oat serum. I then layer two oils from The Ordinary: b5 + amino acids and 100% pure squalane. I moisturize with Paula’s Choice Omega + Complex Moisturizer and protect with Biossance Zinc + Squalane SPF 30. The last step is an occlusive: Cerave Healing Ointment. I do not wear foundation but I apply Mineral Fusions BB cream.
PM
I use my Trilogy Rosehip Cleansing Oil to take off my BB cream and then my routine is mostly the same. Except instead applying The Ordinary after my serum I apply my licorice root serum from It’s Skin and my Rosehip Oil + Antioxidants from Trilogy. Every other day I apply Tretinoin and I put this on over my moisturizer to minimize peeling. On off days from Tretinoin I use my Lactic Acid 10% treatment from The Ordinary and I also apply my Cerave Healing Ointment over my moisturizer

Facial Oils! Korres vs Trilogy!
I really like facial oils. They have nice smell, and they make your face feel super good! So let's talk about these two facial oils today. Which one do you like?
KORRES - Wild Rose Brightening Absolute-Oil
This rose serum contains actual dry rose. It smells so good and the smell lasts. It is transparent. Super comfortable to put on your face. It does not cause acne. For dry skin, it maintains the percentage of water in your skin. If your skin condition is unstable, you can apply a thicker layer to your face and it helps hydrate your skin. You can also use it to massage your face.
trilogy - Organic Rosehip Oil Antioxidant
I read online that Trilogy Rosehip oil is good for brightening. So I gave it a try. It smells like rosehip, somewhat like fish oil if you take a deep breath. The oil is light yellow. The texture feels pretty good, and it locks up the water in your skin. But I get acne if I use it in winter.
I prefer Korres Wild Rose Brightening Absolute-Oil over Trilogy Rosehip Oil, but this one is also a little bit more expensive.

GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon + AHA Glow Sleeping Mask recently got this and just tried it once.. it was ok. Will have to try again to see more results
SUNDAY RILEY - Luna Sleeping Night Oil in love with this! Sooo smooth and my skin looks so bright and feels smooth when I wake up.
The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 not so sure about this... I used it once and had a breakout of little pimples on my forehead and it’s just not the same since... I tried using it again and was ok. Not keen on the texture... but maybe as I use it more it will become more of a fav!
THE BODY SHOP - Tea Tree Skin Clearing Mattifying TonerTHE BODY SHOP - Tea Tree Skin Clearing Mattifying Toner excellent toner.
Aveeno-Daily Moisturizing Lotion
I used to be a big foam girl but lately I've been loving my low to no foam cleansers. I trust my oil cleanser to pull most of the weight, so my second cleanser can be super gentle. I love how gentle these are on my dehydrated and increasingly dry skin.
indielee rosehip cleanser: mine is so pink! Pinker than other pictures I've seen. This photo is true to color! Low-foaming.
Gentlemask T-Tox Cleanser : love the fresh smell and how freaking gentle it is! A runny low foaming gel cleanser.
stratia Velvet Cleansing Milk: my favorite cleansing milk. Rinses so clean!! Cream so no foam.
lumiderma purifying gel Cleanser only tried this a few times but feels similar to the gentlemask cleanser. Low-foaming.
trilogy enzyme cleansing cream: interesting stringy consistency but not unpleasant. Rinses clean! Cream so no foam.

Two weeks of trilogy results
trilogy - Vitamin C Booster Treatment trilogy - Vital Moisturising Cream
I did not see a huge difference from this product. It is very moisturising, apart from that there is no other benefits.

Update on my skin!!
Hey guys, firstly i want to thank you guys for cheered me a lot and commented your opinions on my last post. I kind of change my routine. I stopped using the ordinary peeling solution since i think Aztec indian healing clay works better on my skin and I didn’t want to over exfoliate my skin. I also added rosehip oil to my night routine and i swear to god my face have been smooth like a butter. Well it’s been smoother than before. And i have been using sunscreens and these are the two have (the one from the body shop and the one from the Bioré) both works good i prefer the one from body shop since i felt like the Bioré has a bit of alcohol cuz i smell some while i applied it. Hopes my tips work on your skin too! Please comment if u have any ideas or tips 💗

some of my favourite products that I discovered and fell in love with this month:
> neutrogena body mist sunscreen SPF 50: because SPF is very important, especially with these 40 degree days here in Australia!
> mermaid oil: perfect for dry skin, has been an absolute lifesaver on my dry days when my skin is feeling extra sensitive!
> rosehip oil: a staple in my routine, and relatively affordable, highly recommend for any fellow dry sensitive skin gals or guys!
> sheen screen lip balm: my favourite lip balm with SPF, made using lanolin for extremely dry lips with a little flush of peachy goodness too!
trilogy-Certified Organic Rosehip Oil
This Trilogy Exfoliating Body Balm is described as “intensely hydrating” which couldn’t be more true! In fact I initially found it a bit hard to remove in the shower but I’ve started using my body wash afterward and it’s baby smooth skin perfection.
This luxe scrub contains a rich blend of rosehip oil, sweet almond oil and beeswax to nourish, soften and protect skin, while the ocean-safe exfoliant, finely ground rosehip seeds, gently buff and refine skin texture without compromising the skin’s natural barrier function. As winter comes to an end this is great for getting your glow back in time for Spring! At $30 for 6.3oz it’s a little $$$ but A great option if you’re looking for something that combines both an exfoliant and intense hydration.
