I have a distressed nail: now what?!
So your nail is cracked or the top layer is peeling and you need to save it before it breaks... I GOT YOU 👏🏻 Here are some tips to save your nail: Use an acetone-free nail polish remover to remove any leftover polish from your nail and any excess oils. I use this one: up&up - Strengthening Nail Polish Remover Wash your hands: do this in general, but especially after using the acetone free nail polish remover. This ensures that you won’t be trapping any bacteria under any nail treatments we’ll be using! Use a nail strengthening treatment. I use this base coat which has helped me grow my nails SO LONG (by my standards) as someone who used to have a habit of biting their nails: ORLY - Orly Base Coat & Top Coat my only beef with this product is that it usually pees off within a few days if you don’t seal it with a top coat or other nail polish on top. Use a THICK top coat on top of the treatment, or continue painting your nails as usual. This will create a barrier/shield between you and the distressed nail area and will leave it less vulnerable. You can repeat this as necessary, weekly until the distressed nail area is far enough grown out that you feel comfortable filing it down or cutting it off. Some of my nails are super brittle so I have to use strengthening treatments on them in order for them to remain healthy and long as they grow! What are your favorite nail treatments? #CheriePartner

🤲🏻H2O+ Targeted Care Hands and Nail Cream🤲🏻
H2O+ - Spa Targeted Care Hand & Nail Cream About me 🤗 and the product 🤲🏻Skin type/skin tone My hands are extremely dry!! 🐫 And with what’s going on right now I am constantly washing my hands which makes it worse 😭 I often have cuts on my hands because they’re so dry and the my cuticles peel sometimes and I often have hangnails! 😱 The skin tone of my hands are semi-pale with a yellowish tint. 🤲🏻Product function The product claims to provide the hands with instant softness using the ingredients shea butter, pro vitamin B5, silk protein, vitamin E, sea fennel, and sea lettuce?! 🤲🏻Texture/consistency The texture and consistency is a super rich and creamy cream. The cream has a light fresh scent that is not too overwhelming which I LOVE. 🤲🏻Packaging The packaging is a standard inverted squeeze bottle with a snap on cap on the bottom and I have never had leakage problems before. Beauty story📖 🤲🏻Overall experience If you read my earlier post on the other H2O products you’ll know my story for buying this product. But recap: A couple of years ago I was super into H2O products (you’ll see a bunch coming up!) so I bought a whole line of their products. I started using this product every. Single. Day after I used it for the first time. I would use it before I go to bed or after washing my hands. A little absolutely goes a long way so although this one is my 4th one, it does lasts a long time!! 🤲🏻Verdict love ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Out of all the H2O products that I bought, this is my favorite!!! It is so easily spreadable on the hands and does not leave them feeling sticky slimy. It gets absorbed quickly into the skin and the smell is my absolute favorite smell of all skin care products I have ever used!! 😍😍 🤲🏻Recommend?✅ I would recommend this to everyone! All skin types. It leaves the hands feeling so silky soft and causes absolutely no irritation. 🤲🏻Worth it?💰 Yes Yes yes! I went through so many of these and will buy another one after I finish this one!

EXPIRED MAKEUP leads to glorious nails😌
These colors I made out of expired eyeshadows, highlighters, and blushes! I tend to hold onto things WAYYY past their expiration date (I was still using Grav3yardGirl’s Swamp Queen palette so like very expired😬) So I realized that after ages of me thinking “wow I should get rid of these since they are expired,” I wasn’t going to. Therefore I rethought how I could keep using them. Now I have a ton of new nail polish colors that I got to personalize! Here’s how you can too! What you need 💅 • Old eyeshadows, powder foundation, blushes, bronzers, or highlighters • Clear top coat polish - the better the brand the better it will be, but I got mine from the dollar store! • Paper What to Do 💅 1. Destruction •Take a knife or mini spatula to scrape out the colors you want onto a sheet of paper. You can put different colors together and get creative! •Make sure to break up the chunks of makeup to form as fine a powder as possible 2. Paper Funnel •Roll your paper into a funnel and put the powdered makeup into your base coat 3. Shake it Up •Shake up the nail polish to incorporate the powder and base coat *Repeat steps 2 & 3 as needed! The powder will settle after a bit, but it will shake back to its former glory!

Sally Hansen - Color Therapy Nail Polish Sally Hansen - Insta-Dri X Jelly Belly Nail Polish Similarities: - Both are from Sally Hansen which is famous for their polishes and nail products - Both have two-color tones - Both have blue base Differences - Sally Hansen Salon Manicure has 14.7ml (0.5 oz) comparing to Sally Hansen insta-dry Matte 9.17 ml (0.3 oz) - Salon Manicure is $15 CAD vs Insta-dry Matte $8 CAD (almost double the other) - The Salon Manicure does appear to be more hollow, when actually apply it, you can tell that this one is super jampacked with holo pigment - After two layers, the salon manicure series is perfect set and ready to finish ( actually one layer is good enough, if you do want extra hallow pigment, you can go with a second layer) but the insta-dry matte series, it is not as clear as the other, and you actually need a third layer to get the perfect finish. - The formula is thicker in Salon Manicure, but the consistency is very good and fluid. And it doesnt dragging the brush. It floats super nicely across the nail. - My opinion - I personally really love the Salon Manicure. Although both polish are from Sally Hansen, this one definitely wins over the other in every area. I love the fact that you can see the formula is a two-toned color, you can actually see the color shifting when turning it into different angles. And it appears the same on your nails. It has a perfect combination of blue and purple with purple pearl shimmer to keep the nail going strong.
