Touchland Hand Sanitizer
I think that hand sanitizer should be a really important step on our routine. Especially with everything that has been going on! I like this product because not only does disinfect your hands but it works to hydrate your hands as well! I find that normal hand sanitizers can be sticky and drying for the hands so this is a really good option! Bdsides the packaging is really cute!🧡 touchland - 140-Pack Citrus Power Mist Citrus

I can’t live without a good lip liner 💋
A lip liner is ESSENTIAL in my makeup routine when I’m wearing makeup. In recent years, the definition of my lips has been fading and a lip liner is crucial for me as a tool to help me through applying a lipstick or lip gloss. As you can see above in my before/after picture, it makes a WORLD of a difference since you can actually see where my lips begin and end LOL. Depending on the look I’m going for, I’ll use different shades but “going steady” by Essence essence - Soft Contouring Lipliner has been my go-to for SO LONG! This is the PERFECT lip liner (the texture is a bit matte but it’s not too drying) since it’s so buildable and it lasts forever. Best part? It’s $2!!!! WHAT!!! Yep. The only downside I’d say is that it’s a true lip pencil so you have to use a sharpener when it’s too dull...but that doesn’t bother me, I’d rather pay $2 than $20+ for a twisty lip liner. I recommend trying this formula if you’re in the market for something new! I usually top it off with a tinted lip balm or lip oil and it lasts at least 5 hours. I have to rate it 5/5 for my amazing experience!

My favorite spring look💓
It’s the eyeliner combo from glossier Glossier. - Colorslide I used earlygirl and candy land! I used them together because earlygirl by itself it v similar to my skin tone so by adding a bright blue color it mixes nicely together and makes a pop look. It’s perfect for the spring time because it is bright and not too crazy! I also have glitter gelee on my lids but that was just from the Seattle pop up (it’s optional) but for an everyday look I would just suggest the eyeliner for a simple staple look and some mascara. I’m using Glossier. - Lash Slick and using Glossier. - Cloud Paint Duo I really like puff and storm together!
SPOT THE DIFFERENCE
so i tested two foundations side by side.... Too Faced - Born This Way Foundation lets start with this one... i had seen so many people rave about this foundation on instagram, youtube, and in reviews. i saved up my money and made the plunge to buy this from ulta when i had a birthday coupon. i was super excited at first to have my hands on this. i would say this is a higher medium coverage - my freckles still peek through a bit. Believe Beauty - Skin Finish Foundation i recently purchased this because i was very curious about this $5 foundation. then i was upset for spending $40 on a foundation (too faced born this way) when this $5 foundation did the exact same thing!! i tested these two products side by side. the too faced is on the right and the believe beauty is on the left. i bet you couldnt tell a difference. i primed and set both sides with the same product, and i applied two layers for each side. these two foundations look the exact same in my opinion, so why spend $40 on something that you can get the same outcome with a $5 dupe?

Bring back the bear
Happy Sunday! ☀️ It’s a sunny day here in New York which makes me feel extra happy (but I can’t wait for 5 o’clock so I can leave work ya knooo) • • @mommys_beauty_reviews was the SWEETEST human ever because she saw my IG story about how I wanted this sold out babe and sent it over to me 😭🐻 I’ve been using this once a week after I use the @briogeo Charcoal Scalp Cleanser and the results have blown me away! • • I haven’t tried their OG Deep Condition Mask yet, but apparently it’s the same formula except this is infused with organic, unpasteurized honey for intense moisture. It’s amazing especially if you’re like me and have dry and long damaged hair (I mean i haven’t had my hair cut in a year now so😅) • • Honey is a known emollient and humectant that works amazing as a hair conditioner/ deep conditioning mask. There is also rosehip oil which is a rich fatty acid to help control frizz and split ends as well as help with free radicals damage. Almond oil is a nourishing oil that enhances the shine and luster of dry or weak hair. This oil also has fatty acids which help to strengthen the hair. Vitamin B-5 is also infused in this formula which helps as a moisturizer, humectant, and emollient. • • I do hope they bring this back one day because I will totally be purchasing again!

Worst skincare duo for your skin 🥶
I really was so surprised to see how many great reviews this product has. FOREO LUNA didn't really do much for me. This was too harsh for my face. It jarred my face because of the powerful vibrations... Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser, I really wanted to love this , I heard amazing things about this cleanser and it was just a big NO for me . It does clean your face but it left me SUPER dry and I have oily skin. Such a bummer. I also have acne and breakouts and it made them WORSEE! I tried to use it for a week but I just couldn't! My acne and my face was super red and inflamed so I don't recommend this product to acne prone skin. You can see how this cleanser changes my skin, makes acne worse than before using it!

the power of setting powder
if i was stuck on a desert island, i would bring setting powder. as an oily skinned person, i could not live without it! 🌊 the product: current as of march 2020 REVOLUTION - Conceal & Fix Setting Powder 🌊 the ingredients: [talc free!] mica, aluminum star h octenylsucciate, dimethicone, silica, methylparaben 🌊 the review: I used to use baby powder (not kidding) as a setting powder before i learned that talc and cornstarch are NOT good for your face and probably caused some of my breakouts. Now i stick to talc-free powders that tout no-flashback and long lasting mattification. Makeup revolution’s Conceal and Fix powder was a surprise drugstore win. I bake my face with the powder for 5-10 minutes before dusting off, and am left with a smooth & matte face all day (with setting spray too). It didnt break me out and is also water resistant! If you want to try a new setting powder, i would send this your way. the shade range is also incredible, from brightening powders to deep skin tones. As you can see in the third photo, my skin looks smoother and more even with powder 🌊 the price: $11 for 0.45 oz, $24.44 an oz. in contrast, huda beauty’s powder is $47.88 an oz

Oooo lipss 😘
NYX - #THISISEVERYTHING LIP BALM Who likes having moisturized soft lips? Everyone duh 🤩 I recently started using this lip balm from NYX Cosmetics and god this stuff is good. It feels super moisturizing and my lips don’t feel dry or chapped after this. It comes in such a cute container but it can hard to apply if you have long nails so I just use the back of my nail to apply it. Its got this subtle vanilla cherry scent to it 😍 and isn’t greasy at all. It retails for 5 USD which is amazing for a good lippieee. It has a 18 month after opening expiry. And NYX is crueltyfree 🐰 🔥.

I Don’t Believe In Skincare “Dupes”
You can’t “dupe” all high-end or niche products. This doesn’t apply to one-ingredient products like virgin marula oil. While the texture may be different, the end result is probably going to be the same for most folks. But multi-ingredient products like Drunk Elephant’s B-Hydra, TLC Framboos, C-Firma, and other niche products from brands like Paula’s Choice, Youth to the People- the main active ingredients may be the same, but the concentrations and inactive ingredients are different. As well, they may not have an active ingredient that the “original” product does. Let’s take these two. Often touted as dupes, I love them both. I used to use them both daily, actually, though now B-Hydra is my main hydration serum. The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 has HA and B5 as it’s two actives and I adore that TO utilizes multiple sizes of HA to draw moisture into different layers of your skin 💦 DRUNK ELEPHANT - B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum ‘s active ingredients include Hyaluronic Acid (both products use sodium hyaluronate, which is molecularly easier for skin to absorb) and Panthenol (B5, a hydrator), but also Niacinamide, which helps with controlling excess oil production. This key ingredient is what made B-Hydra so amazing when I struggled with oil overproduction. You can utilize the Ordinary’s Niacinamide+Zinc alongside its HA+B5 offering, but I enjoy that B-Hydra just has it already in it, as it makes B-Hydra a unique serum that addresses multiple issues common to those with combination/oily skin. As far as inactives go, both products include a variety of extracts, but B-Hydra bumps up its hydration offerings by adding sodium PCA in its ingredient list! It’s very well-rounded. So, is HA+B5 inferior? Not at all. I love it, and it’s an affordable, lovely hydration serum. I enjoy that the Ordinary does one- or two-note products because it allows you to truly personalize a skincare routine. But HA+B5 is not a duplicate for B-Hydra, the ingredient lists are very different even if they share two actives. It can be used as a substitute, but long-term results likely won’t be the same without supplementing the missing niacinamide via a secondary product. Saving money is A+, but evaluate *where* in an ingredient list you’re willing to budge before grabbing a “dupe”!
DRUNK ELEPHANT-B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum
✨What is it? A refreshing gel cream to give your skin the power to rehydrate itself. Delivers an instant moisture boost. Keeps skin almost twice as hydrated at the end of the day than it did before. It locks in all the moisture for an endlessly plump, dewy, healthy - looking glow. - ✨Key Ingredients Hyaluronic Acid, Activated Aloe Water, Caffeine - ✨My thoughts I have super dry skin and back in November I had just finished my other moisturizer and someone recommended me to get Clinique moisture surge. I really liked the texture, its super light weight, gel like and glides smoothly on my skin. It was great for keeping certain parts of my skin hydrated and dewy like my forehead and others. But my cheeks are very dry and I always felt like this wasn’t enough. After a few hours my dry patches would start to show and if I was wearing makeup it won’t look very nice. I would say this is for someone with normal to combination skin, like my sister she loved it, but for someone who’s dry this isn’t rich enoughCLINIQUE - Moisture Surge 72-Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator
