SUMMER WAVES I’VE BEEN LOVING FOR PARTIES✨
My hair is straight and lays flat on my head so for nights out I love to add some texture to it with waves/curls. A new curling wand I have been loving is the CONAIR - Double Ceramic Triple Barrel Waver It creates effortless waves in as little as 15 minutes. How to: To start, I prep my hair with MOROCCANOIL - Moroccanoil Treatment to add some shine and tame down fly-always, and CHI - 44 Iron Guard Thermal Protection Spray to protect from heat damage. Next, I work in 1-2 inch sections starting from the back to the front until all the hair is complete. As you can see, I start from the top of the hair piece and work my way down the hair. I hold the wand for about 5 seconds over each section. Lastly, I add drybar - Triple Sec 3-in-1 Finishing Spray Blanc Scent for some extra texture and volume. Have you tried a 3-barrel curling wand yet? I would love to try a wand with larger barrels.

Another way to deal with thin hair
First of all I want to say I almost was about to not post this because literally this is me completely unfiltered and I dunno, I just hate my barely-there eyebrows and grey roots, but this is Cherie- where we celebrate beauty without barriers so 🙌🏼 I thought I’d add a few of my tips to dealing with my thin hair and how to naturally add volume with next to no effort. First of all, after a shower I spray with a detangler. Having thin hair, we want to keep as much of it as we can, so spraying a detangler in will make your hair easier to brush and lead to less fall out. Second- and this is a tip I found out years ago, but not sure how common knowledge it is- but I brush from the root, upwards. This again, helps decrease fallout because if you start from the root, you are prone to more breakage and hair fallout from the tip. Brushing from the ends-up kind of decreases tension when you do finally reach the roots and brush from root to tip. I also only brush my hair after a shower, I never brush during the week, and again, this is all to prevent unnecessary hair loss and breakage because honestly I’m shocked at how much hair I find in my brush every time i brush my hair. Again these are all tips on how to thin hair, through managingAG hair - Moisture Conditioning Mist Detangling Spray breakage 👌🏼

Don’t do this - Using the hair curler on wet hair!
I love curls, but for me it takes a while to get them as they don’t just happen to me. The silver lining is that once I get them, they usually last for at least 4 days, which is a dream come true. However, it’s not always been very easy to get the wavy hair of my dreams. It’s been a long road of trial and error until I got it right. I used to try the curling iron as soon as I got damp hair, which resulted in a very long process and lots of burnt hairs. Not to mention that I can’t say I was over the moon with the results. It took me a while to realize that damp hair was a definite no-no. Actually, it was my hair stylist who insisted I never use a curling iron or straightener on wet or damp hair. Since then I always blow dry the hair before, and, more often lately, I wash it in the evenings and do the waves next morning. When I first started with the Philips Style Care Prestige, I felt like I’ve found my way to the perfect waves in a fraction of the time I’ve used to spend on this. The automatic hair curler is not on the cheap side, but it’s very easy to use, you just need to put little strands of hair in the opening and it sucks the hair in. Also, it gets warm in a matter of seconds and I’ve noticed that it doesn’t burn my hair at all. You can curl the hair in different directions, and for different amounts of time. It’s customizable depending on your needs and I totally love this. However, I was doing another mistake when using it – applying styling products before using the automatic curler. I’ve stopped doing this after I realized how much better it looks if I apply the styling foam when I’m done. So, what I do now is just use the curler on dry hair, it takes me about 20 minutes with my long hair. I don’t curl all the hair, just hair strands here and there. After I’m done, I put my fingers through the curls, so they look a bit messy – I love this fresh and casual look. The hair styling foam or spray is optional, sometimes I used it, other times not, my waves are good either way.
SPRAYING MY HAIR WITH CHAMPAGNE 🥂
FOR SHINY, SMOOTH AND GLOSSY HAIR ✨😱TAG YOUR BESTIES 👯 All I Used: 1/2 cup champagne 🥂 1/2 cup hot water 💦 I know it is sounds kind of crazy spraying champagne on your hair 🙊I actually heard the amazing hudabeauty talking about she spraying champagne on her hair, so I was really curious 🤔and decided to give it a try a couple weeks ago 🤷🏻♀️ Believe it or not my hair doesn’t want to shine all the time, sometimes it gets really dry because of the weather changes.🙄☀️💦 We all know champagne can be expensive😲you could use any sparkling wine instead, they are all extremely high in antioxidants due to the grape seed extract protecting the hair's vital collagen and elastin👌🏻 ATTENTION‼️This works the best on blonde 😚✨👩people, because brings out the blonde tones. brightens their color and adds additional golden tones to their locks👯 HOW I DO IT I spray it on my clean hair after shampoo and conditioning and let it sit for about 15 minutes, then I rinse it off with cool water💦 PS: I do it every 9 days, or just for when I really think my hair needs it, don’t do it very often because it can have the opposite effect.

The hair blow dryer brush is a 2-in-1 hairdryer that combines a round hairbrush and hairdryer. If you have long hair like me, then you should have experienced one hand holding a hairdryer and the other hand styling with a brush. MAINTAINING THICK, KNOTED HAIR AT THE BEACH✨
Hi everyone! Having thick hair is great because it comes with added volume and allows for endless updo possibilities. With that being said, there are obviously some cons. In the summers by the pool or at the beach I used to struggle with maintaining my hair. The straight strands would knot up when I got out of the water, frizz from the humid weather, and in general, overheat my body. If this sounds relatable, here is a product I always pack in my beach bag that has changed my beach-going experience. GARNIER - Fructis Triple Nutrition Curl Nourish Butter Cream leave-In Treatment is made with coconut oil which is designed to strengthen the hair. The cream also provides frizz control which is great for those extra humid days. This product is advertised for curly hair (which it works well on) but has also helped with my straight hair. I apply a decent amount from the ends of my hair working it up to the top. Next I brush out my hair with a wide-tooth comb (mine is from Target, but you can find one everywhere). This cream has left my thick hair softer, more manageable, and knot-free. At the end, I braid my hair out of the way so it can be maintained off of my body in the heat. What tips do you have for maintaining thick hair in the summer?⬇️⬇️
