ONE STAR 😕 cocokind - Oil to milk cleanser As you might have seen my previous post, I was really excited to try products from the Cocokind bundle. The first thing I tried was their Oil to Milk Cleanser. I love cleansers that feel gentle but work hard. Cleansers shouldn’t feel too stripping but make you feel clean and refreshed afterwards. This Cocokind cleanser may be a bit too gentle and not in a good way. As soon as I rubbed the product onto my skin I began to wonder if the product had all slipped away. As you can see from my video there’s a very slippery and watery texture to it that doesn’t feel like it’s really absorbing into the skin but rather gliding right off. I was confused but I washed off the product with water hoping it had done its job. Afterward I still felt like there was a layer of oil from the product on my face. My face didn’t feel cleansed. I always like to give things the benefit of the doubt so I tried it again at a different occasion and still it didn’t sit well with me. I’m sure there’s others out there that love the product. For me, I really did want to like the product. It seemed promising, but my experience with it wasn’t that great and there are other cleansers that I love and prefer. I’ll stick to those.

Most recent empty...and I’m repurchasing!
Writing this review because @annkrisha tagged me 😜 I nominate @StevenPham@cuong@SophiaWangto share their products!! I got the Paula’s Choice toner after seeing so many rave reviews about this on Cherie. Blackheads and pores are one of my top skin concerns so I was excited to try this. Let me say, this toner is very potent. I use this in the AM only and always wear sunscreen after. It took me a while to adjust - I went through a small purging phase and also experience extreme dryness around my mouth and nose. However, once I adjusted, I feel like it did wonders for my skin. I no longer get dry patches and I feel like my skin just generally better and there’s less blackheads. I will definitely be repurchasing!! And it’s affordable :)
PAULA'S CHOICE-SKIN PERFECTING 2% BHA LIQUID EXFOLIANT
Centella Green Level Calming Toner - contains 10% asiatic pennywort extract or more commonly know as centella asiatica, this gentle toner has high moisturizing effects. It uses the natural fragrance of herbs and flowers so there is none of that artificial ones that could harm your skin. My skin has been sensitized for the last few months due to testing out a lot of products but I feel like using this definitely helps calm it down. I’ve never run out of a toner so quickly! If you’re looking into trying a new toner or venturing into the Purito world, this product is a great way to start. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Centella Green Level Buffet Serum - not sure if it’s the high percentage (49%) of centella asiatica in this product, but this serum actually broke me out. Which is sad because I know a lot of people love this and I was really enjoying the toner from the same line! Looking into trying this one again cos I’m really eager to make it work, I’ll report back! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ABP Triple Synergy Liquid - I haven’t used a lot of chemical exfoliators and so far I haven’t had any luck, until I used this one. Has a balanced blend of AHA + BHA + PHA that is safe to use for all skin types. This contains naturally derived supplementary ingredients like panthenol and sodium hyaluronate, so your skin remains moist and without tightness. If you suffer from textures or rough skin, this might just be the product you’re looking for. Worked better for me than Krave’s Kale-lalu-yAHA!
The best toner for dry & sensitive skin
LANEIGE - Cream Skin Toner & Moisturizer Product Function: The Laneige Cream Skin Toner & Moisturizer is marketed as a two-in-one formula that preps the skin like a toner while offering intense hydration like a moisturizer. Product Target Concerns: This product claims to target dryness, dullness, and uneven texture, making this especially perfect for those of you dealing with dry and sensitive skin. Texture: Lightweight like a watery toner, but sinks into the skin like a nourishing serum. Milky consistency that offers deep nourishment. Overall Thoughts & Opinions: Having used this for over two months, I’m already incredibly impressed by this product and know that I’ll be buying it for years to come. It truly is such a unique product and helps protect my skin from transepidermal water loss whenever my routine is heavy on drying actives. I initially tried it because of the hype it got from the skincare community, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision to try it because I’ve fallen in love since. Even though it’s deeply nourishing, it still feels lightweight and doesn’t break me out, which makes this the perfect product for nearly all skin types. Would I recommend? Yes, yes, and YES. It’s not the cheapest toner out there ($33/150ml) but you only need a few drops to reap the full benefits of this, making this a worthwhile investment. It’s truly such a unique and innovative product and I can imagine this working for everyone that tries it. It’s an effortless and easy-to-use product, perfect for basic and complex skincare routines.
