makeup & skincare 🌸 hyperpigmentation & ance ☁️
Pretty Fresh from Colourpop✨
I actually thoroughly enjoy this line, its hydrating but not at all greasy which is great for someone like myself who gets oily throughout the day. The concealer (didn’t include it in this boomerang) is really nice coverage and dries down to a nice skin like finish. The tinted moisturizer isn’t my favorite and that’s only because Iite difficult for me to cover my hyperpigmentation and even if I spot conceal it shows through and also shifts a little when I apply this. It’s great if you just want a nice blur to the skin but not if you’re trying for conceal in any way. I recently tried the PF foundation (not in the boomerang either) and that formula is just as bomb as the concealer! Dries down beautifully and does a great job at covering up without a dry/matte finish. Its definitely great for daily wear and has a nice glow to it and I love that. A glow makes your skin look youthful and much more alive, especially when you’re exhausted LOL. Overall a great collection just not so much the tinted moisturizer. BH has some amazing formulas 💜💙
Just used the new Sweet Shoppe Cotton Candy and the Bubble Gum palette and I LOVE THEM! They each retail at just $18, the pans are HUGE and the color payoff is insane! I used my Colourpop Pretry Fresh Concealer as the base for my eyeshadow and it just popped so beautifully! These colors are super pigmented and to my surprise didn’t stain my lids (which is common for pinks/purples). Overall these palettes are a solid 10/10 for quality, price and performance! bh - Cotton Candy 8 Color Shadow Palette #BH Cosmetics - Bubble Gum eyeshadow palette[products]#[FiveStars]

Morphe 2 Collection 🔥
I was so happy to get this in the mail THANK YOU MORPHE 💜 (this video was we from my IG stories) this is Morphe’s more “natural” and “subtle” makeup line, Morphe 2! It’s targeted more toward your everyday glam, with some shimmer and sparkle and of course some tinted lip oils to keep the lips hydrated with a light hue of color. My FAVORITE thing from Morphe 2 for sure is the Hint Hint Skin Tint, that stuff is Magic! If you want to see what I mean, look at my last post where I talk a little more about the formula and how well it worked for someone like me who normally always uses matte and full coverage foundations. Okay so it’s been about a solid week since using this foundation and I’m beyond blown away! Normally I lean away from anything that is sheer or light coverage because I have acne scars that show through that but this stuff is amazing! It’s so hard to explain because I’ve never used anything like this! It’s a thin water-based formula and goes on super watery but after it’s blended out it just sticks in place! The craziest thing is how it leaves this dewy finish when it dries down!!! Most “dewy” formulas tend to break me out because they’re heavy in oils and they also shift around if I don’t set them right away. However THIS is a game changer. A breathable, Water-based formula that leaves the skin dewy and not oily! I use the shade “Hint of Toffee” for reference. If you’re looking for something a little different, that can build up coverage and still look natural then I 100% recommend this foundation. Morphe hit it out of the park with their Morphe 2 line 🔥 MORPHE - Hint Hint Skin Tint

Grossly Satisfying: A Copper Dry Brush
The Now - Copper Dry Brush Do you have dry skin on your body? Do you like go self tan? I’m telling you this brush is a GOD-SEND! It’s a copper dry brush from The Now and really don’t have say much else, right? The video speaks for itself. I use this probably once a week to remove dead, dry skin. And yes, I moisturize both morning and evening! My body has been more dry since we started isolation. Dry brushing is a great treatment for getting your blood circulation going and for lymphatic drainage. It’s clearly a great exfoliator as well! I use it to remove remnants of self tanner or to prep before self tanning as well! This is the cheapest option I’ve found. This brush can also be referred to as an Energy Brush or an Ionic Dry Brush.

This Saved My Rough Elbows!
So I used three products and this was my week difference this is KP (melanin version) FIRST AID BEAUTY - KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub with 10% AHA I was skeptical about this at first but combined with my cloth and lotion it really worked! It has 10% glycolic & lactic acid. ($28) ALPHA SKIN CARE - Revitalizing Body Lotion my very first post on Cherie was about this lotion! I use it on my entire body and have seen tremendous results! It’s 12% glycolic acid & leaves my skin moisturized and smooth! I use it everywhere ! Please use sunscreen the following day to avoid sun damage ! ($17.99) THE SALUX SHOP - Nylon Washcloths the original exfoliating clothes. (Also apart of my very first post). These are the Japanese award winning clothes that changed the way I shower forever. They’re exfoliating so if you have sensitive skin please take caution. I got them from amazon 2 for $10 ! I’ve had them for 6 months and they’re still like new. They said they’re self cleaning, but I’ve washed mines like three times since I had them! (DONT DRY THEM). I also use Dove - Sensitive Skin Beauty Bar before this treatment. Since I’m using many acids (which are perfectly fine to mix together) I want to make sure I’m not doing any other harsh damage to my skin. order Dove - Sensitive Skin Beauty Bar with THE SALUX SHOP - Nylon Washcloths FIRST AID BEAUTY - KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub with 10% AHA (use your hands it’s already rough enough) ALPHA SKIN CARE - Revitalizing Body Lotion (once out the shower)

My favorite trio 🌱🖤
I’ve been using this combination and already loving at how well my skin has taken to it! I’m pretty oily/combination skin but I also have the issue where my face gets extremely dry based on what washes I’m using. So I decided to lean to another cleansing route and immediately thought of Lush. LUSH - Herbalism FACE AND BODY CLEANSER is such an uplifting body and face cleanser which has kaolin clay to detox the skin while the ground almonds exfoliate! The super subtle scent of rose absolute is so wonderful along with its soothing and balancing properties. I get pretty crazy face, shoulder and back breakouts and I have yet to have any issues with this wash and I feel like it’s really the only thing I can use at this point! LUSH - Mask Of Magnaminty I love pairing this mask with the Herbalism Cleanser to really help amplify the exfoliating process. This mask contains honey to help the skin retain its moisture while cleansing, and peppermint oil to aid in a cooling and invigorating experience. The exfoliation is in the Ground Aduki Beans which aid to remove dead skin cells. Lastly I go in with my dermalogica - Age Smart BioLumin-C Serum to help brighten, tone, and bring a bounce back into my skin. This incredible serum is packed with a high performance vitamin C to keep the skin young and plump with that lovely little bounce to it while also helping speed up the healing of any discoloration of the skin. These 3 items have been so good to me for the last 2 weeks and I can’t wait to see what my skin looks like 3 months from now! Before and after pictures will be up soon :)

My skin journey
I’ve always had acne since I was 14 but wasn’t extreme and I also didn’t understand that taking care of your skin is really important. I Started getting really bad cystic acne last year (23 yrs old ) like my pores got so big and just no amount of makeup or products were helping me. I’ve tried over 100 products/ brands and spent thousands to figure this out. In my defeat, I finally decided to learn about skincare and what could I do to help. I’ve spent a full year learning about ingredients, products and brands that benefited not only my skin but my family’s too! So my skin has cleared up so much that I don’t even complain if I have a little pimple or some blackheads on my nose cause it has never been this clear in over 10 years!! I’m finally going out makeup free:) Here’s a list of products I now use : Night: The Ordinary - Squalane Cleanser Krave - Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser Krave - Kale-Lalu-yAHA If I’m feeling dry I’ll add 100% cold pressed jojoba oil in my night cream I sometimes switch the KraveBeauty kale aha for The Ordinary - Mandelic Acid 10% + HA Morning: INDIE LEE - CoQ-10 Toner The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Krave - The Beet Shield I’ll post other products that I use but not as often as these ones !!

althea Milk Peel Cream Mask . It's not that I haven't tried any bubble masks before but the fact that it changes from clay to bubble masks is so strange to me at first. You'd expect a clay mask will harden over period of time and you'd wash it off using sponge to some sort of exfoliate your dead skin cells at the same time but not this one! . It does absorb all kinds of impurities off my pores and it exfoliates rather gently and on the surface but also deep into the pores with AHA and BHA. . Overall, 3.5/5. I find this product just slightly above average as it does what it claims but it dried out my U-zone area so much even though I strictly follow the instructions to start washing it off once it started to bubble up.
