✨as someone who lives with acne prone skin breakouts are just par for the course, but what's your go to duos in those crisis? One of mine (and I do have a few) is the centella green level calming toner and level buffet serum duo by purito🌱 ✨the kick starting repairing ingredient is the 10% of centella, also known as pennywort. I am love how the toner comes with a small amount of witch hazel a classic astringent and hyaluronic acid for moisture retention. The formula is think like bentoncosmetic BHA aloe toner but is easy to layer with the serum and other products during a routine. It spreads easy and lays evenly whether patted on with a pad or the palm🌱 ✨its partnering serum sets low on the EWG at green and comes with most of the same products but with a extra kick of centella at 49% (39% more than the toner). It works to reinforce and protect the skin barrier from external aggressors. The serum is of course thicker in a slightly cloudy clear color. It a bit sticky for me during application but it fades quickly🌱 ✨both the toner and serum are soothning for me but I definitely feel a little heat from them when I've overexfoliated. It ends quickly I feel the calming effects and all previous redness is gone. A natural treatment team that works to battle me overactive breakouts. I'm extremely please with how these two work together day or night.

This one’s about Luna Oil Orga
This one’s about Luna Oil Organics ✨ . I’ve been using this duo here long enough to safely give my final opinions on it. Here we go: . 💙 Blemish Fighter Serum: this guy is formulated to fight blemishes - it’s made with a particular ratio of linoleic/oleic acid, and fatty acids which are naturally found in the skin’s sebum. Grapeseed and evening primrose oil are high in linoleic acid, and here they are meant to add fatty acids back into the skin, for “a healthy, balanced and radiant complexion.” 💛 Kapha Face Oil: this facial oil, specifically formulated for women, targets oily skin, enlarged pores and blackheads. This oil is meant to “restore radiance to a dull-looking complexion and tighten enlarged pores usually associated with Kapha type skin.” It’s supposed to prevent greasy buildup, which can lead to blackheads and breakouts. Tee tree oil and frankincense are supposed to cleanse and tighten pores, while argan oil and is meant to dissolve excess grease and restore the skin’s PH balance. . How do I feel about this duo? I’m afraid that they did not help my skin stave off breakouts 😕 I did find them very moisturizing, though, and they gave me a wonderful glow ✨ Remember that just because these didn’t help my skin fight off breakouts, doesn’t mean they won’t do the same for you! 💕 These are very reasonably priced so if you’re intrigued at all, go check out the brand!

Leo Oil by @leowithcancer on Instagram/leooil.me
Leo Oil by @leowithcancer on Instagram/leooil.me
I've been following Dena @leowithcancer on Instagram for quite a while, and you can't follow her for long without finding out about her handmade skincare products business where she makes and sells the instagram (or skinstagram, rather) cult favorite product Leo Oil (that I have pictured) as well as several other things as well (you can find and purchase these by going to the website leooil.me or astroils.com - both go to the same place)! Now that I've introduced the product, let me tell you why I love it. First of all, Dena never makes any actual claims about Leo Oil, BUT the ingredients used to formulate each bottle are shared publicly (meadowfoam seed oil, rosehip seed oil, & blue tansy oil) and are known to "act as a moisturizer that also treats & heals irritated skin." I, personally, use it as the very last step of my nighttime routine to seal in moisture and to help relieve any irritation. Also, I and many others (according to Dena when asked about responses from Leo Oil users) have found Leo Oil to be quite beneficial and helpful for treating acne! Blue tansy oil (one of the ingredients in Leo Oil) is "a powerful anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-inflammatory," says Dena when asked if Leo Oil helps with acne at all. The texture is that of a standard skincare oil, and I've also included a photo of what a few drops of the oil looks like so you can see its texture & color. I've been using Leo Oil for months and have been in love with it ever since I first started using it. I don't hesitate to give it a full 5-star rating. I would and do most definitely recommend this oil to anyone and everyone; even those with oily skin can benefit from having an oil in their skincare routine! Lastly, the price may seem a bit high to some people, but if you keep in mind the fact that each bottle is handmade and hand-packed and shipped, I think you'll agree with my opinion that the price of Leo Oil and all of Dena's products are quite reasonable after all. I hope you now see why Leo Oil is my fave oil for acne & overall! 😌

🌸S2J White Fleur Toning Essen
🌸S2J White Fleur Toning Essence - Review 🌸Description: Provide nutrient for healthier skin. 🌸My Thoughts: I have tried for few months now, and I know I took a lil bit of time to review this. It smells like rose. Floral. And not strong. Only mild and nice. The texture is very light and watery. At first, I didn’t see any notable result. But I tried to wear it religiously and daily, for few weeks straight, and I can see the result. It clear some of my pimples in my chin area. And I don’t if it just me, but this one do brighten up a bit of my skin. But I need to wipe it with cotton first, then put it again to pat it on my skin. It does not hydrate enough, but I am okay with that because I do have other toner that can hydrate my skin.

Cold Brew in my Serum?🤩
Cold Brew in my Serum?🤩
My initial thought when I saw this serum was “Oh my gosh a COFFEE serum”. I quickly realized the brand had a different cold brew in mind 😂, but it was all ok once I tried it. I recently started incorporating theprimera - Black Seed Cold-Brew Serum into my skincare routine. After applying the first pump to the back of my hand, I knew that this serum would be great for all skin types and even more a dream for dry and sensitive skin gals. The serum is clear and very fluid. The texture is watery and most similar to an essence but ever so slightly thicker. I use it both in the morning and night now because of how lightweight it is. The serum sinks into the skin almost immediately and doesn’t leave behind any tackiness. Even though it’s super light, I do feel like my skin is amply moisturized and hydrated. Sometimes I’ll go in with a second round of serum if I want another boost of hydration. Another plus is that this serum’s great when layering with other products (toner, eye cream, etc). It blends in seamlessly and doesn’t seem to have any funky reactions with my other products. I don’t notice any miracles when it comes to how smooth or soft my skin is, but I noticed that my pores had a blurred effect, which is one of the highlights mentioned on the front of the bottle. I’m all about a skincare product that goes the extra step and takes place of a makeup product! This serum is such a good simple yet powerful product to have in your regimen. It’s the type of product I trust to use on any skin day, even if it’s one where I have tons of breakouts and sensitivity. It’s gentle and helps strengthen the skin barrier. However, I hesitate a little when it comes to the price point. I do think there are other serums on the market that have similar soothing and calming effects. It’s hard to say definitively as each person is different, but I’d say if you are interested in this launch, give it a go! #CherieCreator

Do you use ampoules or special
Do you use ampoules or special treatments? I usually go for special treatments during the autumn but I guess Troiareuke Healing Cocktail Skin Complex Formula is a product which I need to use the whole year. This time I tried Akne-C Formula Ampoule. This ampoule contains Green Tea Catechins and it's recommended for acne-prone and oily skin since it moderates sebum production. You can use it as a toner or as a mist, for me both ways work but I prefer to use it as a toner which I spray under another toner. I've already tried Anti-Trouble Formula Ampoule and the Anti-Trouble seems to work better for me - the blue ampoule keeps my skin soft and it helps with moisture but if you mix blue and green then you get a mixture that can be really powerful on acne-prone skin. Do I recommend it? Yes, it's a delicate product worth a try, somehow the blue one took me longer to use the whole bottle of it than the green one but I guess it's all about weather. So which ampoule should I try next anti-ageing or brightening?

Jamie+Grant Blue Balancing Face Oil
Jamie+Grant Blue Balancing Face Oil
Jamie+Grant is this brand owned by entrepreneur mom India! She reached out to me on instagram to send me her ‘Milk Peel Sleeping Mask’ which is a lactic acid serum but she also included this Blue Balancing Face Oil. This oil is bomb! I use it as a spot treatment with my Blume ‘Meltdown’ to kick acnes ass. This oil has resveratrol which has shown anti-fungal and anti-bacterial activity. Specifically activity against P. acnes, the bacteria that causes acne. While benzoyl peroxide provides short term bacterial response, resveratrol showed a significant inhibition of growth over time. I love the science behind products and what makes them work and why. This Balancing Oil works wonders when combined with the natural oils in Meltdown, it’s a match made in heaven After cleansing and toning, apply evenly to the spot then follow with moisturizer. I would give this a 4/5 only because it does make the area applied to a bit tacky but I use it right before bed so I don’t care as much. I think this would be great for anyone looking for a acne spot treatment
