My favorite night serum
I’ve tried 3 different serums for caudalie I actually enjoyed all of them but this was by far my favorite. I have dry and sensitive skin and I didn’t have any negative reactions to this one . It leaves me skin feeling so soft and gives me such a beautiful glow in the mornings . This retails for $79 but they currently have this kit that includes the full serum and essence and moisturizer in mini sizes so I picked this up instead . The Perfect Hydrating Yet Light Serum For Summer!
Caudalie doesn’t just manufacture beautiful and effective clean beauty products, but it’s such a beautiful brand too. Founded in Bordeaux in France (hence the abundance of vino, or the French word for ‘wine’, in their product selections), Caudalie makes use of natural ingredients, and it’s the largest beauty company contributor for our planet.CAUDALIE - Vinosource SOS Deep Hydration Serum Their Vinosource line is fueled with grape, which is nature’s antioxidant that helps fight free radicals, fight the first signs of aging, and is a natural brightening agent. No wonder why this serum is known for its soothing, calming, and moisturizing power. It’s also packed with hyaluronic acid, a substance that our body produces, and is one of the most potent hydrating properties in skincare product ingredients. Caudalie Vinosource SOS Deep Hydration Serum credits its effective hydrating and skin nourishing formula to organic grape water, hyaluronic acid, and olive squalene. Grape water offers deep hydration and calming properties to our skin. It locks in moisture in the skin by holding water, quenching our skin’s thirst for rehydration. Organic grape water is also fantastic for calming skin irritation such as redness and rosacea. Hyaluronic acid is very important in treating the early signs of skin aging. Our skin needs HA in order to repair cells, keep our skin plump and youthful, and maintain its elasticity. Our body naturally produces this type of protein, but its production decreases over time as we age hence, our skin can benefit from outside resources to pump in HA such as skin care topical products or microneedling treatments. Olive squalene deeply moisturizes the skin without leaving an oily film on top. It’s perfect for boosting skin moisture but keeping greasiness at bay. My dry combination skin loves the HA in it as it serves as a moisturizing treat to my skin without making my face look like I slathered way too many layers of products on it. I used it with my usual cleanser, toner, eye cream, and sunscreen during daytime. At night, I like layering it with another cream moisturizer to really lock in the hydrating properties in my skin. It’s an ideal serum especially for summer cause it’s so nourishing but it goes light to the skin. So even if the sun is scorching hot outside, you won’t end up looking like you can fry an egg on your face. Super recommend this!
CAUDALIE-Vinosource SOS Deep Hydration Serum
Aveeno - MaxGlow Infusion Drops This serum is designed to give your that “yoga skin” look you’ve always dreamt of. It enhances your natural glow while locking in moisture for over 48 hours. Soy and kiwi are their featured ingredients. Soy helps moisturize, improve skin tone, texture and radiance. The serum’s texture is a little milky but it is very lightweight and it won’t make your skin look oily, which crucial because dewy shouldn’t feel or look oily. I like mixing it with my moisturizer in order to add that extra glow and hydration. (Mix it with an oil free moisturizer, otherwise it does get oily). I love the natural look it leaves on your skin. It’s also great for when your skin is going through dryness or redness. It soothes it nicely. Overall it’s been a good experience, it’s a fun serum to play with and it delivers what it claims to do. Nothing out of this world. I think I would recommend it if you’re into having a natural look but if that’s not your style, I probably would pass it because it isn’t all that cheap ($24). Is it worth it? It’s a hard call knowing that there are many serums that offer the same result for maybe less. I think it all goes back to personal preference. Maybe start with the smaller size.

CICAPAIR Tiger Grass Serum by Dr Jart
Cicapair - tiger grass serum by DR JART. It is brand as an highly-concentrated serum for dry but especially sensitive skin. Targeting specifically redness. It is a lightweight serum that contains the same key ingredients than the Cicapair cream (Cf : previous post) - Cicabond : repairs dry skin caused by external stressors - Jartbiome : improve skin moisture and tone - Centella Rx : soothes and protect sensitive skin The cream itself is doing a great job against redness but I do feel like the serum is totally a plus to work on the long run + I feel like it gives extra moisture to my skin (not mad about that) I really appreciate this serum - and this line ! I would definitely recommend to try if you have problem with redness and even more if you have dry/sensitive skin. It works for both ! It’s still part of the cica rescue kit that I bought that retails for 42$ (cream, serum, color correcting and a full size mist), the serum itself retails at 46$ for 1,01oz. Little pricey thought even if it’s all worth it , so I’m just gonna take one star away because of the price. Also note that I haven’t found other products that work that well, so in terms of price I don’t think you’ll find less expensive for the quality of the product. Bisou
Dr. Jart+-Cicapair Tiger Grass Serum
I’ve been including this Morning Expert Hyaluronic Serum from Thisworks whenever I get to do my morning routine and I noticed one thing every after application is that it instantly plumps my skin. It features 2% Hyaluronic Acid complex with Vitamin C and Persian Silk Tree Extract to help dry and dull-looking skin that craves moisture. This is best for normal, dry, aging, mature skin. Upon checking the ingredients, I wouldn’t recommend this to people with sensitive skin - it contains some allergens like benzyl alcohol and fragrances. It may also trigger fungal acne. It has that typical vitamin c scent but subtler than the other serums I’ve tried. It absorbs quickly and I find that it works great under makeup. I didn’t experience any breakout but since I don’t wanna wait for bad things to happen.. and I had just opened another serum, I am considering using this more on the neck area. Though I still might use it on my face if I feel a bit adventurous. Haha should I still use it?? 〰️

how i deal with everyday redness
today i want to talk about what is maybe my all-time favorite face product, the Dr. Jart+ - Cicapair Tiger Grass Camo Drops SPF 44 i have some super noticeable redness that’s specifically target on my cheeks and i actively hate wearing heavy makeup, so ive been poking through moisturizers, tinted moisturizers, and treatments for as long as i can remember at first i didn’t like this product, but mostly it was because of problems going on with my skin - when i first bought this my skin was at its worst, and i felt like this accentuated texture. now that my skin issues are pretty minimal (no more flakey skin, less acne, etc) this has been my go-to every single day this is a really lightweight product as it’s pretty watery. i use my hands to apply this green serum and as it is rubbed into the skin it becomes a light beige. im super pale and this works for me, so if you have a darker complexion im not sure this would work this completely neutralizes the redness i have on my cheeks and it leaves my skin looking super hydrated and dewy, but not oily. it also has spf 44, which is SUCH a dream and makes this my absolute favorite skincare product this is $46 for 1 oz, which seems like an excessive price, but this bottle has lasted me about 5 months with almost everyday use and it only takes me about 3 drops to cover my entire face and to blend onto my neck

✨ STAY HYDRATED WITH HYALURONIC ACID
✨ Crystal of the day: Amethyst ☯️ ✨ Hyaluronic Acid is one of my favorite ingredients to look for in different products and incorporate into my routine. ✨ Its a molecule that can absorb as much as 1000x its weight in water and moisture, which means its attracting moisture and sucking it into your skin after you apply it! The results are a plump and hydrated complexion, that can eventually fight signs of aging with consistent use, due to the fact that your skin loses its ability to retain moisture as you age. ✨ GOOD MOLECULES - Hyaluronic Acid Serum Price: $6.00 for 1 oz. Details: Water based serum with Sodium Hyaluronate, the stable and favorable derivative of hyaluronic acid, and Vitamin B5. Three different molecular weights of hyaluronic acid for maximum benefits and water retention. Rating: ✨✨✨✨✨ I really love this serum, especially for the extremely low price point! It does what it claims and the ingredients are very simple and effective. Since it is a water based serum, wetting your face before application is not necessary because the water in the serum gets instantly sucked into your skin! I combine this with my Niacinamide serum from the Ordinary right before my moisturizer and I really feel ultra-hydrated and supple every time! Highly recommend for anyone looking to incorporate this ingredient! ✨ philosophy - Renewed Hope in a Jar Water Cream Hyaluronic Glow Moisturizer Price: $39.00 for 2 oz. Details: Key ingredients include Norwegian glacial water, “enhanced” hyaluronic acid, and pineapple extract. Claims to increase skin’s hydration by 86%. It has a water-cream/gel-like consistency and a pale blue color, fast absorbing with a cooling sensation. Rating: ✨✨✨✨✨ This moisturizer is INCREDIBLE! It is truly the best moisturizer I’ve ever used and I would absolutely repurchase it over and over! The price point is already not bad, as just under $20 per ounce, and philosophy has frequent sales (I got mine for 30% off!!). The water cream consistency feels so lush and luxurious on my skin, it has a natural cooling sensation that is amplified if you keep it in your fridge. My face looks amazing after I apply it because of how smooth glowy and plump it looks! The downside is that it contains fragrance and a small amount of dye, but I don’t find it to be irritating at all or lingering, and the scent is SO lovely! It smells very light, clean, and refreshing (faintly like your man’s favorite cologne 🤤). Truly my favorite product and I highly highly recommend it! ✨ Both of these products would be great for any skin type, especially since it focuses on hydrating the skin with WATER instead of oil, which causes breakouts for some people!
