Glossier futuredew ✨
It seems to me that this is a bit of a polarizing product. Some swear by it while others find it pointless. Well, I’m proudly on the “swear by it” side of things. Futuredew is an oil serum hybrid made up of plant-based extracts and nourishing oils that promises to give your skin a dewy, hydrated look. It’s meant to be used as the last step of your skincare routine before you apply your makeup. Note: it’s safe to apply after your sunscreen, so no worries there! I have VERY dry skin and don’t have any oily or combination patches that I have to worry about, so I was very intrigued when I saw this product online. As soon as I applied it for the first time, my skin looked luminous and quenched, and that look shined through my tinted moisturizer once it was applied. I wore it for about nine hours, and it held up beautifully. I now use this almost every day. It does feel tacky when you first apply it, but it’ll set after a few minutes. Also, a little goes a long way. If you’re not into a luminous finish all over the place, you can place this product on the high points of your face like you would a highlighter. I 100% recommend this product if you have normal to dry skin. ✨
This Isn't Skincare 💫🚫
I find it really interesting that I find this product most commonly under skincare when the majority of reviews I read are using this product as a primer for their makeup! I personally got my hands on this hyped product earlier this year, and my skin has never looked better under my makeup 🤩 The oil serum hybrid not only acts as a great primer for cream based and powder products, but it also helps to bring a fresh glow to your skin. With dewy skin all the rage right now I would highly recommend getting your hands on this product. If you’re comfortable wearing little to no makeup, this would be a great product to pair with a little brow gel, blush, and mascara for a quick day-to-day look 💄 My only concern is how heavy I find this product is. It is definitely noticible for a few minutes after I apply it, and the sticky texture means I have to wash my hands before I move on to the next step in my makeup routine. I also find that the smell from this product is quite strong and relatively synthetic. Will I repurchase - Up for debate right now, it does give me a great glow but I’m concerned it was a key contributor to my recent breakouts.
Glossier. - Futuredew Oil Serum Hybrid It’s a serum-oil hybrid that is applied as the last step in your skincare routine, after sunscreen. It’s meant to give you that glow, that “dewy” well moisturized look. In my opinion, Future Dew was marketed as a product that gives you the make-up-no-make-up look and I totally fell for it. My first impression was honestly WTF is this? I followed the directions and used two pumps for my face. I looked like a mega glazed donut so I had to tone it down with light powder. Throughout the day, I also felt like my face had increased oil production. To avoid the mega glazed donut look, I tried just one pump for my face and thought I had achieved the dewy look. But the dewy look disappears quickly, especially if you apply make-up, even a light powder. It also didn’t matter if I used 1 or 2 pumps, the product feels heavy and uncomfortable. After a few uses, I decided to take a break from it. I tried it again a couple months later to see if it was truly a nay. I introduced it daily to my AM skincare routine. It still felt heavy and uncomfortable. The last straw for this product was that it completely broke me out. I stopped using the product and my skin cleared up. Another disappointing thing about this product is that its PAO is 6 months. That’s a short PAO for a product that only requires 1-2 pumps per use? I wondered about using this on my body even though it’s past the 6 months...any thoughts on this?
Holy Grail Hydrating Serum!
📌EMPTY 📌My skin type: Dry/ Combination 📌Product information: Ultra Repair Hydrating Serum ($38 for 1.7oz). For all skin types, instantly provides hydration with plumping the skin. Could be used AM and PM. Helps minimize appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. 📌Product texture: Super light weight, transparent, gel like consistency. 📌My Experience: This formula is my holy grail. I love the consistency, it REALLY REALLY immediately hydrates my skin. It just gets absorbed in so quickly that I can never get enough of it. I used to use it all the time, day, night, evening, before gym, after gym...literally all the time. The only CON is: my skin drinks this product like nobody's business. I get over through the bottle pretty quickly. Also, I am onto my 4th bottle. 📌Like/ Dislike: LOVE 📌Would I recommend it? I would highly recommend it for all skin types. 📌Rating of the product: 5.5/5

Hyaluronic acid serum
Fourth Ray - Rainfall 2% Hyaluronic Acid Serum what is it: serum infused with hyaluronic acid, cucumber water, coconut water, seaweed sugar to replenish and plump skin. concerns: dry, combination skin, fine lines & wrinkles My thoughts: when used in conjunction with the waterfall toner, this is hydrating duo. I haven’t been using this long enough to see any long term benefits, there a many benefits to use a hyaluronic acid serum, such as helping with fine lines and wrinkles. I do find that the texture of this is a bit sticky, but for the price, it is reasonable and would be a good serum to start out with!

Drugstore Surprise: Versed’s Booster w/ HA
If you're not using hyaluronic acid and want a cheap product to test it out with, I recommend #Versed's Hydration Station Booster. It's designed to be mixed in with your favorite serums/moisturizers/foundations etc. to add more hydration, but can also be used on its own. It's only $19.99 and comes in the perfect bottle for travel. The formula is really watery and I only need a drop in order to reap its hydrating benefits. I’ve been adding a drop to my serums in the morning and night to give them a little extra slip - it’s really so hydrating and feels so nice on the skin and it mixes well with everything.

Empty — my HG hydrating serum
CAUDALIE - Vinosource SOS Deep Hydration Serum PRODUCT This serum from Caudalie is intended to be a lightweight, hydrating serum that is infused with grape water (my absolute favorite ingredient from Caudalie), hyaluronic acid (another hydration savior), and olive squalene (a plant-based alternative to a naturally occurring humectant in our skin). The purpose of this serum is to help dry, dull, or irritated skin by providing moisture. The consistency is like a thinned out moisturizer, which is typical of a mike serum (see second image). OPINION I tried this product during a facial at Sephora over 8 years ago and I have been hooked ever since. I believe that this is my 7th bottle, and I have no plans to stop using this, ever. When I had a simpler routine, this was the only product I used for hydration. However, my routine (and skin) has gotten more complex, so this is currently one step in my hydration routine, but still the most critical to me. It is $49 for the 1 oz serum, which is on the pricier side, but I obviously think it is well worth it. You can also often find it on sale at a variety of online skincare retailers. I have recommended this product to many people and have received overwhelmingly positive responses from everyone. I highly recommend this and give it a rating of 5/5 stars! *Information about ingredients adapted from brand description.

PIXI GLOW TONIC SERUM.. EMPTY 😭
I’ll like to start this off by saying how incredibly sad I am to have an empty Pixi glow tonic serum just sitting on my dresser. I don’t want to get rid of it and I’m preparing myself for a new one. 🥺😫 Ok everyone this serum is amazing, I received this as a gift from Pixi and ever since then it has been in my routine. I have really dry skin to the point where it gets flaky and when I apply this it not only glows up my skin (obviously cause it’s called the glow serum) 😂 BUT it also hydrates! 🧡 The serum is sticky when you apply it, but adding other serums or moisturizers gets rid of that and honestly it doesn’t bother me🤷🏻♀️ I LOVE this product so much and what it does for my skin, waking up in the morning I know when I’ve applied this serum the night before and when I haven’t because it just does something to my skin and overall complexation. ITS REALLY THAT SPECIAL 👌🏼👌🏼 It’s a thicker consistency so applying this at the end of your line of serums (going from thinner consistency to thick) it’s the perfect cherry on top) 😋🍒 I love this product so much and what it does for my skin, but I also love how affordable it is compared to my other serums I own. You can get this from Shoppers Drug Mart in Canada with the price point of around $30.00 CAD, which I think is amazing compared to what I spend at Sephora on skin care. You guys need to get it you won’t be sorry in all honestly. 🤍✨ pixi - Glow Tonic
