Oct-Nov Empties 🗑 🧴
[Swipe to see which ones I repurchased/replaced] It’s nice to get closer to a point where I know what works for me, so I don’t have to keep trying a bazillion new products that may ended up going to waste! ♻️ • GRAYDON - Green Cream Phyto Clear (fka Green Cream) sample replaced by a full sized bottle 💦 this botanical retinol works amazing as a spot treatment for incoming acne/recent scars & helps loosen up my milia. Can be used on full face for oily skin types. • calia - Organic Intensive Conditioner is one of the few hair products that doesn’t break my eczema-prone neck out & makes my hair softer, so already repurchased 👌🏽 • Corpa Flora seasonal Tangerine Tango cleansing oil - great for makeup removal & slightly emulsifies with warm water, repurchased the Corpa Flora - Beauté Divine Sensitive Skin Cleansing Oil sensitive skin version with next to no essential oils. • GRAYDON - Aloe Milk Cleanser was shared between my partner & me. Great quick face wash for sensitive skin. Might repurchase in the future, but for now I’m using up the @lifancenaturalskincare Restore (milk) cleanser, with gently exfoliating white willow bark, I’ve been gifted with👍🏽 • routine. - The Curator Natural Deodorant I LOVE THIS NATURAL DEO. They have a baking soda free version THAT ACTUALLY WORKS 👏🏽 I finished my 2nd jar of The Curator and now trying out Woah! blackberry Betty - makes me smell like berries 😸

MY 1st CUT CREASE = SUCCESS 💃🏽
I’ve been intimidated by cut crease looks for so long, but yesterday I thought it’s worth a try with a good tutorial. I’m quite happy with the results, I did this look in the evening and it stayed fresh until I was heading to bed which was frustrating bc I didn’t want to wash it off 😪 Eyes: tarte - SEA Hydrocealer Concealer to prime the eye + to cut the crease NYX - Ultimate Shadow Palette for matte yellow and orange shades; wish the pigment was a little stronger but this is good for drugstore makeup PAT McGRATH LABS - Eye Ecstasy Duo & ĀETHER BEAUTY - Supernova Crushed Diamond Highlighter to fill the crease Milk MAKEUP - Kush Waterproof Mascara + Cala eyelashes on the outer corner of my eyes for a fan out effect 🦚 elate - Brow Balm & Milk MAKEUP - KUSH Fiber Brow Gel to fill in them brows Face: BITE - Changemaker Supercharged Micellar Foundation TOWER 28 - Bronzino Illuminating Cream Bronzer (not pictured) I loooove this, the pigment is build able and can be easily blended in ĀETHER BEAUTY - Supernova Crushed Diamond Highlighter as highlighter FENTY BEAUTY - Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter the orange one as blush Lips: BITE - Power Move Creamy Matte Lip Crayon as lip liner BITE - Crystal Crème Shimmer Lip Crayon as sheen TOWER 28 - Juicy All The Way - Mini Lip Jelly Set as lipgloss

This Fenty Beauty Snap Shadow 🎨 is a 10/10
I’ve been loving greens a lot lately and have been on the lookout for an eyeshadow palette that reflects that. Honestly, I spent some time searching bc there aren’t that many options, especially in clean beauty 🤔 so even though Fenty Beauty isn’t clean, I support Rih Rih with all my heart and I don’t regret spending a cent on this FENTY BEAUTY - Snap Shadows Mix & Match Eyeshadow Palette in 10 - Money, which I got during the Sephora HOLIDAY FUN sale with the VIB discount 💃🏽 I like this palette because the tones are subtle and can easily be worn on a daily basis for the more “natural makeup head” very minimal fallout it includes a nice, brown shadow shade and bright golden shade on top of the green which is great for traveling with The only thing is I find that the light green shimmer (top middle) shade is best applied by finger or has to really be worked into the brush, but the colour pay off is great! Additional makeup worn in this photo Face: Kosas - Tinted Face Oil Foundation in 07 ĀETHER BEAUTY - Crystal Charged Cheek Palette in Ruby tarte - SEA Hydrocealer Concealer Eyes: Milk MAKEUP - KUSH High Volume Mascara SAPPHO - New Paradigm Concealer in Caramel as eye primer Brows: Milk MAKEUP - KUSH Fiber Brow Gel Lips: BITE - Power Move Creamy Matte Lip Crayon in Hard Cider TOWER 28 - ShineOn Milky Lip Jelly Gloss in Almond

Sephora Sale x Friends Discount Haul 🎁
Merry early Christmas to me 😝 a couple of weeks ago, I went into store for the first time in a while to check if I could get certain items in person instead of waiting online. I lowkey only went in for two things, but was also in a buying mood... you know the one 😬 by the time I was at checkout, a girl I know that works there blessed me with a Family & Friends discount at 20% so I wanted to take advantage... and here we are now. I ended ordering the stuff online through the store bc not everything was available in store 😅 I’m excited to try all of these items, as I’ve been eyeing some of them for a while! Remember, we don’t want to over shop, so personally I make sure I limit myself by staying within a certain shopping range I mainly only shop “clean beauty” I don’t buy pricey items unless they’re on sale I don’t need any more skincare for now, so I mainly only buy makeup for experimentation I got a mini set of the TOWER 28 - ShineOn Lip Jelly. I’ve been curious about this brand for some time and though most of these colours (pink and purple) wouldn’t be my first choice, I’m stoked to try out the formula as well as the orange gloss. I also got a full size of this jelly, in Almond, since I got a discount on $18 CAD, which already is quite a decent price! tarte - SEA Water Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 15 when I saw that it was on sale, I couldn’t help myself but to try it, as I’m on the search for the perfect, creaseless foundation that does not hang out in my smile lines 👏🏽 tarte - Maracuja Magic Foundation Prep Set I’ve been meaning to try a makeup blender sponge for some time now & since this set was on sale, I decided to say yes to an extra oil. Look at this little gateway of skincare into my purchase 😜 tarte - Sea Jelly Glaze Anytime Lip Mask Set Ok so yes I’ve been eyeing for a little while, but I wasn’t going to get it until I got the Family and Friends discount 🥵 Which one would y’all like a review on first?! ✨

Eco-friendly makeup brand: Elate Cosmetics🖊💄
A couple of months ago I did a collab with one of my favourites Elate Cosmetics, a sustainable beauty brand based in Victoria, BC. These EyeLine pencils are smooth, creamy, non-irritating, made sustainably with COSMO CERT good-for-you ingredients, such as coconut oil and carnauba wax. Elate is known for their high sustainability standards, so these pencils were made with low carbon emission in mind, using California cedarwood which is PEFC certified (sustainable forest mgmt). The lids are corn-based, using as little plastic as possible. Halloween Skincare Tips🎃
Halloween is a busier makeup season, even if you’re not going trick or treating, so it’s crucial to cleanse your makeup off properly and nourish your skin afterwards. My focus is proper cleansing, so I would use a 2-step cleansing method. WOODLOT - Nourishing Cleansing Balm to melt even the stubbornest of makeup off. First I let the balm warm up on my face while massaging it in on relatively dry skin. Then as it melts and loosens up the makeup, I use a warm wet cloth to turn it into a milky consistency to remove all of the product and excess oil. This balm is also great in general as it helps soothe irritated skin and massaging it in is a great way to relax and tend to yourself for at least a minute. GRAYDON - Face Foam to wash off any remaining oil from the balm, while at the same time gently exfoliating the dead skin cells with some azelaic acid For the moisturizing step, I don’t want to overwhelm my skin anymore after all that makeup, so I’m going in with something light. sahajan - Radiance Face Serum is a great 2-in-1 hydration+oil serum. Making sure my hyaluronic acid is boosted, in case some of the makeup dried out my skin & some non-comedogenic coconut oil to lightly nourish my skin after all it’s been through. This serum makes the skin dewy.
Getting Graphic with the Grinch!
I used liners from this collection: #Glam Vice - Candy Bundle - 8 Retro Liners + Liner Brush 001[products]#[FiveStars] in the shades “moonwalk” and “fringe” I loveeee graphic liners these days. You can get such unique looks with them, and they can make any look pop. As you can see, I had a bit of fun creating a grinch inspired makeup look using them. I like using graphic liners because you can really control how they come out. Since it’s almost like painting in a way, you can get very creative with designs, combinations, and such. I also love using non traditional eyeliner colors as of late. If you’re looking to try graphic liners, I would suggest this brand. They have awesome bundles that include a brush, or, you can buy the liners individually. These are very easy to use with the brush, are water activated so no mess, and don’t take much to produce a great result.
What’s your skin like underneath?😊/😕
If you look at my photos you will see me in natural morning lighting, the next is adjusted to show all my skin flaws. The up-side-down ain’t pretty. *Sigh* I’ve had freckles as long as I can remember, I dream of having an even skin tone. Those stretched out pores can take a hike. The textured forehead and cheek skin is not welcome here. I wish the scars and blemishes would fade. I battle constantly with melasma. I’m trying to arrest the elevens/“one” that’s made it’s home in between my eyes; to stop the forehead wrinkles and nasolabial folds from progressing. Why do I have a double eyelid? I imagine how life would be if my skin was smooth like yours. Now you see what i see. I wish I had started sooner, had prevented more and picked less, overall made better choices. But you know what? I was told not to put a bunch of crap on my skin, that I didn’t need that. By my mother. To be fair, she is very sensitive and very aware of all the toxic ingredients used in the beauty products of her day. She was just looking out for me. So let us rejoice! Curly Girl Method! I've tried these so you don't need to try again!
I've tried several hair products for curly hair, and these are my favorite! Shampoos SheaMoisture - Argan Oil and Almond Milk Shampoo It smells like milk. I love that and the way this made my hair feel. Very smooth and non-greasy after washing. Conditioners SheaMoisture - Superfruit Complex 10 in 1 Renewal System Conditioner Some people don't like its scent, but I personally can accept it. The moisturizing effect is perfect. TRESemmé - Botanique Nourish + Replenish With Coconut Milk & Aloe Vera Conditioner It's affordable and it's so large that you can use it for a long time. Apply it and wait 5-8 minutes, then your hair will be like seaweed. Kinky-Curly - Knot Today, Natural Leave In / Detangler It smells like coconut. I use it as a moisturizer. I have now purchased 3 bottles of this. My hair cannot get enough. It is pricey, but so worth it. It is the best leave in conditioner I have ever tried. The best part about it is it's sans silicones sulfates or waxes. If you're looking for a great detangler that doesn't leave your hair greasy, this is the one for you. Leave-in conditioners SheaMoisture - Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen & Restore Leave-In Conditioner It is a little greasy. I brush my hair with this leave in in during the shower and it keeps my hair silky and curls not frizzy Hair masks SheaMoisture - Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen & Restore Masque I use it once every two weeks, staying for 15-20 minutes before washing off. After using it, it helps hydrate my hair. It’s very light and doesn’t dry with any residue! It leaves my curls feeling light weight! Curl defining gels DevaCurl - Light Defining Gel Soft Hold No-Crunch Styler I have medium length curly hair and I use about a quarter size for the initial scrunch from ends to root. I touch up around the entire head with another quarter size. Let dry and scrunch to release the cast from the gel. My hair and curls are so happy with this product. It is the holy grail for sure. SheaMoisture - Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie I use it to apply a little bit to the hair before setting. It makes your hair look a little oily.

Absolutely TF NOT 🤬🤬
This products is not ok... whatever they put in this literally have my eye lids stinging, I’ve never had this problem with an eye cream. I bought this because it claims to be hydrating and would help with dark circles but instead it gives me a stinging burning sensation around my eyes. Complete waste of $39 I would not recommend. One of favorite eye creams is Belief moisturizing eye bomb, doesn’t burn my eyes and definitely gives you hydration.belif - Eye Bomb Gwp

Highly requested skincare routine
I posted this video a while back to answer the question: “what’s your skincare routine?!” I am not a skincare guru by all means, but I have a few products I use that keep my skin really nice and clear after every photoshoot! Keep in mind I do have the occasional eczema flareup so that’s why I use certain types of moisturizer, but this one doesn’t have steroids! The face cleanser: CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser The moisturizer: Cetaphil - Restoraderm Eczema Calming Body Moisturizer The remover: biore makeup remover cleansing oil
