As far as duos go
The best Caudalie duo right now. really working for my skin. Love this amazing milky serum for everyday use. It’s so good at keeping my skin troubles at bay, especially dark spots; great at lightening dark spots. Vinoperfect is just perfect! I’m relatively new to the toner but it’s been soo good so far. Especially with the serum and my Caudalie foaming face wash. One of the best toners I’ve used. CAUDALIE - Vinoperfect Radiance Serum Complexion Correcting

Malasma skincare routine
🔖Skin type：dry combination skin 🔖Skin concern：malasma on cheeks As you can see, I have been fighting with melasma for many years. I want to share some tips with people who also struggle with melasma. I useOLE HENRIKSEN - Glow2OH Dark Spot Toneras the first step of my skincare routine. My skin touches so smoothly when I use it. After using about 2 bottles I found that the effect is getting slow, and I won't repurchase it. Then, I choose the CAUDALIE - Vinoperfect Radiance Serum Complexion Correcting for my second step. Thanks to Cherie recommending it to me, it reduces my spots on the cheek and also brightening my skin. Lastly, I like to useDr. Hauschka - Melissa Day Cream. It can not only hydrate my face but also help my melasma. Meanwhile it doesn't cause breakouts or irritate my sensitive skin. Thanks for reading! And finally, eating healthy is important, too~💕
Caudalie serum, is it worth it? ✨
This serum is actually pretty great. Its great for sensitive skin and it has made my skin really really soft. I finally finished this serum after 7 months of use. Some things I’ve noticed with my skin over several months is definitely more hydrated, soft and a bit brighter. 1 week after using: I’ve felt my skin feel soft. About a month in of using the serum my face has felt way more hydrated and plump. I did notice it getting a bit brighter and even. A couple months in of using it I’ve seen my face a bit more brighter. I’ve had small sun spots on my face and they have gotten lighter and less pigmented over months. It’s a serum I’d recommend but the price point is a bit up there, it’s $79 for 1oz and $114 for 1.7 oz. if you have no problem with spending that much as a treat for yourself then you should give this a try since it has helped me.
Salicylic Acid Spotlight
Salicylic acid is a BHA, or beta hydroxy acid. It’s structure makes it more oil soluble, meaning it can work better inside your pores than an AHA (water soluble) can. BHA works on the deeper layers of the skin, making it good for unclogging pores and exfoliating the skin on a deeper level. I like this ingredient because my pores tend to get clogged very easily. My skin often gets texture if I don’t exfoliate are least every other day, so chemical exfoliation through the use of salicylic acid is key to keeping my skin smooth (in combination with physical exfoliation). CAUDALIE - Vinopure Natural Salicylic Acid Pore Minimizing Toner This toner is a great way to introduce gentle, daily exfoliation (especially if you are a newcomer to the world of acids). I have found that this toner helps a lot with my texture and when used in conjunction with the serum, it is even more effective. CAUDALIE - Vinopure Skin Perfecting Serum This serum is more powerful than the toner, so it’s something I suggest using once you’ve worked up some resistance to acids. It is most effective when used with the toner (at least on my skin that is quite accustomed to acids). Both of these products have a light spa-like scent, which I love because it gives an extra touch of luxury to this product. Both of these are on the pricier side, because Caudalie is a high-end brand, but I have personally experienced great success with all their products, so I am willing to pay for their formulations. I will keep repurchasing these products (this is my third bottle of the toner, and second of the serum) which I have purchased myself and will continue to repurchase. If I had to pick one, I would probably pick the serum, just because it packs more of a punch.
Empty — Caudalie Vinopure Toner
CAUDALIE - Vinopure Natural Salicylic Acid Pore Minimizing Toner PRODUCT This product is a toner, to be used after cleansing and before serums or moisturizer, that targets skin impurities such as texture, acne, and dullness. It is a liquid consistency, best used with a cotton pad or equivalent to apply (see second picture). OPINION I absolutely love this toner! I am already on my second bottle and I can’t get enough. I’ve been using it for a little bit over a year, and it’s undoubtedly the best toner I’ve tried for texture. This has helped my texture tremendously, thanks to the addition of salicylic acid. If you haven’t used acids before, this might sting a bit upon application, but I have not found that to be the case for me. This toner is $28 for this size which lasted me about 9 months, so I think it is more than worth it! I recommend this highly and give it a rating of 5/5 stars!
Not my fave serum from Caudalie
CAUDALIE - Vinoperfect Anti Dark Spot Serum Vinoperfect Radiance Serum is claimed to be a powerful serum that works to correct and prevent dark spots, even the skin tone & brighten the complexion. Target concerns include dark spots, uneven texture& dullness. Really like the subtle citrus scent & its texture. It has a light creamy texture that soaks into the skin. It isn’t sticky on its own but since I also use DE Framboos serum it does get sticky. This product is one of those products I’ve been wanting to try forever! I love all of caudalie’s serums so this is one I gotta try next especially since I have acne prone skin & scars from picking. Used up 1/3 of the bottle by now & still haven’t seen any reduction in hyperpigmentation. But I do have to say this guy did prevent future possible ones! (Yes I was naughty & picked my face). My skin got brighter too. It’s $79/30ml for a bottle. But right now, they have holiday sets that comes with extra gifts in addition to paying $79! Highly recommend getting gift set if you can get your hands on one & if you’re super curious about it. But in all honesty, I think this is probably not my favorite serum from them. 4/5 stars for now since I still have 2/3 of the bottle to go & I really like how it prevents future scars for me. But it is quite expensive for something that lasts less than 2 months for me (I’ve been using it for 2 weeks). Unless I see a miracle, prob won’t repurchase. Will recommend it if you have great flawless skin & has a habit of picking your face. Great preventer. Will also update if I see a miracle!
CAUDALIE-Vinoperfect Anti Dark Spot Serum
(ACADERMA) STAR LIGHT SPOT CORRECTOR i just emptied this Acaderma - Star Light Spot Corrector! it is meant to target dark spots, pigmentation, and roughness. it’s a light, gel-like consistency, and you don’t need a lot (probably like a pump to a pump and a half) to cover your whole face. both my boyfriend and i have been using this for a few months now, he for dark spots and i for hyperpigmentation. i did notice it helped tame some of my red patches a bit, but i can’t say it does much for dark spots. it is, as it claims to be, “oily skin friendly,” and while i’m not horribly displeased, i just don’t think it’s worth $78. if you’re struggling with dark spots, i wouldn’t recommend it, and if you suffer from mild hyperpigmentation and can justify the price, it may work decently for you. ⭐️⭐️⭐️/⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Acaderma-Star Light Spot Corrector
The Caudalie Vinoperfect Anti Dark Spot Serum is a new love of mine. It is a serum that targets hyperpigmentation, dull skin and uneven texture. The texture of this is quite runny, and it comes in a dropper! The packaging is a cute little glass bottle, so you will be able to see when you are running low easily. I have been using this product for a few weeks now. You can use it day and night. I just wanted to help with some acne scaring and texture I was experiencing and I had heard such great reviews about this line. The product itself has a unique scent that I can’t put my finger on. It’s not unpleasant but it’s not a fragrance either. Regardless, the scent does not linger so it’s not really an issue. This product can be easily applied both morning and night, I just put a few drops into the palm of my hand and pat it into my skin. I didn’t notice results right away, but after a few days of continuous use I was noticing my skin was more radiant. I still have hyperpigmentation but I have noticed a difference in the darkness and I do think this serum is helping eliminate it! It is $80 for 1 oz, which is pretty steep. Currently you can get the holiday set which comes with a full size bottle and mini trial sizes of the overnight cream and the essence for just the price of the serum which I think is a great deal! I will continue to use this until I finish, then I will see how my skin reacts when I stop using it to see if I can do without it or if I need to repurchase a new bottle! The price definetly makes me hesitant but Sephora does offer 20% discounts quite often now.

Toner for Hyperpigmentation
I want to talk about the toner I’ve been using the past week for hyperpigmentation. It is Caudalie’s Brightening Essence. This is good for hyperpigmentation, dark spots, scarring, brightening and illuminating the skin. TBH I’m definitely not a person that is” obsessed” with toners. I feel like I can live without them. I know that’s bad to say & I don’t know why I don’t have tons of toners but I definitely have made more of an an effort the past week to incorporate it in my skin care routine. Since, I went to the Sephora sale last weekend I purchased one of Caudalie’s Holiday Sets. Now I can honestly tell you my face has looked brighter & smoother since I have been using the toner & the Vinoperfect brightening serum. I don’t know if it’s the serum, the toner or both together but I can see a difference in my skin. I have scarring from cystic acne so I do need to use a toner to give myself more of an even skin texture. I am a big fan of Caudalie’s brand and products and like other products of theirs, this is Vegan(which I love!!!). What is it? This is a natural brightening essence toner powered by glycolic acid to remove dead skin and grape water to hydrate, brighten, smooth, evening the skin. This is targeted for normal and combination skin. Again, it’s good for brightening dark spots, dullness, and uneven texture. It’s packed with powerhouse ingredients; organic grape water and glycolic acid to hydrate and exfoliate and white peony extract to reveal fresh radiant skin. It also has tons of essential oils which is crazy because it doesn’t leave my face feeling oily so that’s an added bonus. Some of the important or more effective essential oils in my opinion are: Lemongrass, Lavender, Rosemary, & Lemon Balm. These oils provide a calming antiseptic to the skin that will help reduce dark spots and blemishes. I love that it’s hydrating, light & doesn’t feel oily. I will say I see a glow after I use it. I’m giving it a 3 because I still don’t know if I see a huge change in my skin with toners, but I’ll keep at it.CAUDALIE - Vinoperfect Brightening Glycolic Essence

I wanted to talk paulaschoice boosters. First up is the PC Niacinamide booster. Im a big fan of Niacinamide. The first product I tried, (which had an identical formula) was from the ordinary. The truth is that the paulaschoice booster costs 5x more but the results are exactly the same. It helps control the production of sebum on my chin area. It means I squeeze less and there are virtually NO whiteheads. how lovely. The main difference with this formula is its super absorbent, lightweight and doesnt pill so i wear it in the day. with the ordinary i had to wear it at night as it was a thickish serum which pilled like hell. The azelaic acid booster from PC deserves a special mention. It REALLY helps soothe and brighten the skin, whilst added salicylic acid reduces break outs. This product is pretty much on its way to HG status, i notice a brightening effect after just two uses, and after consistent use definitely notice marks from spot picking fade on my face. FADE not disappear, but fade quickly. I find this works better with newer dark spots than older ones, but I think its very effective and expect it accelerates the overall process of dark spot disappearance with consistent use.
