Dying My Brows at Home
Bare with me! I figured I’d TRY to make a video tutorial on brow tinting. I got a box of Godefroy TintKit in the color Medium Brown from my local Armstrong McCall, but you can buy a box on Amazon, as well. It’s pretty simple. 1) outline your brows in Vaseline to protect the skin from staining 2) take one capsule of the dye and the developer that comes in your kit and mix them roughly half and half 3) apply generously without getting too messy 4) let it sit for about 5 minutes. (If you’re worried about it going too dark, half the time) 5) makeup cleanser or face wash will take off the excess dye I’m not too worried about it being a little dark, because it’ll fade off my skin fairly quickly. I hope this was helpful! If there’s anything that you guys would like to see, please let me know in the comments and I’ll do my best to make it happen!! (I’LL DO BETTER NEXT TIME I PROMISE!!!)

The professional store I work in sells these products and I have personally had them used on me (though I did a lash tint). The results last for up to 8 weeks with this brand, as well. Check out the review pictures and see if that color is something you’re looking for. If not, I would suggest getting both the chestnut and a light brown and mixing them to your liking. I hope this helped you out!!

Brow Tinting at Home!
One of my favorite diy beauty hacks that I started doing while social distancing is diy brow tinting! It's super easy and quick, and makes the rest of my makeup routine so quick!! I use the #Just For Men - Mustache and Beard[products]#[FiveStars] it works really well and is made for the face! This box cost under $10 and has lasted me for over 6 months. I tint my brows once every two weeks. Here's a quick tutorial: 1. Start with clean brows! There should be nothing on them - no makeup, no skincare. 2. Mix equal parts of the dye with developer. You only need a drop of each! Mix this until combined. 3. Apply using a slanted eyebrow brush to the last 3/4 of the brow. 4. After about a minute apply to the front part of the brow. 5. Leave the solution on for 5 minutes! 6. Remove with a cotton pad, then soap and water! 7. Style as usual! That's it, now you have tinted brows that just need brow gel to set! Bonus Tips: you can apply some kind of barrier outside the lines of the brows the stay neat - coconut oil or Vaseline work well for this! the front of your brows should line up with your inner nostril and the tail of the brow should line up with the end of your nostril - check out a brow mapping chart for a better idea! brows are sisters, not twins! Don't worry if they aren't absolutely perfect! wherever you get the dye solution will be dyed! Be careful! It will dye the skin, this is what gives them a freshly tinted look! It doesn't last for more than a few days on the skin. #CheriePartner
Brow Tinting 101
When I feel like my brows are a bit light and I want to deepen them without having to fill them in each time — I love reaching for Refectocil - Eyelash and Eyebrow Tint I use shade 3 and put a pea size amount in the glass mixer it comes with Then add 2-3 drops or developer. Mix it around and apply it with an angled brow brush. It’s super easy to do, and you can clean up any messes with a cotton bud if needed. I leave it on each brow for 10 minutes (which is the max time recommended)! As you can see, it darkens them and really works well at almost shading in sparse areas. I’m a big fan! Have you tried brow tinting with this product?

How I do my eyebrows✨ #Cheriepartner
It took me a while but I finally got the hang of how to fill in my brows without making it look too extra. I like to lightly contour it with the pomade then goin in with the pencil and finishing up with the clear gel! First step: I use the pencil brush and brush them down Second step: I contour the brow with the pomade Third step: I lightly fill in the brows with the pencil Third: I brush the brows (as shown in the video) Fourth and final: I finish up with a clear brow gel to hold it. It will last you the whole day if you finish up with a clear brow gel! I will forever purchase these products! They’re fantastic! Specially the brow wiz from Anastasia BH! Super nice and thin! Perfect Brow Tutorial-Brow Gel
Brows are so essential in a whole face makeup, I’ve been prating drawing my brows since freshman year and it took me almost a year to figure out the best way to get perfect brows that fits me. Now I want to share my hacks on getting these perfect brows with gels. First thing first, start with a fresh face, I normally have my foundations done first before moving to brows. And always brows first before moving to eye shadows cus you gonna conceal the edges of your brows afterwards and you dont want to mess up your eye makeup. I am kind of a perfectionist on eyebrows. So don’t panic if you are spending 15 minutes on one side of your brows and probably another 20 on the other side to balance. I used to spend average 1 hour to get the perfect brow I want. I feel like, for beginners, it is easier to draw and shape your brows with gels. Starting off with your brows, a good practice here is to “map” your brows. Its like an outline or guidance of your following steps. With the Mapping, it makes it easier to fill your browns. Now it is actually the perfect time to tweeze or trim your brows. When you already have a little bit product on and now you actually know where you want your keep brows With your desired shape, the next you need to make light strokes to form the shape you want for your brow. I like to start with the end, slightly fill in the blanks little by little. MORPHE - MORPHE Brow Cream This is one of the benefits about gels. It is not too pigmented. and make it super friendly to beginners. You won’t want to start with something supper pigmented and then correct everything in e huge mess. When you are done with the whole brow, you will need a thin brush to give the sharp and clean finish of your brow.

To create a nice and pretty eyebrow lamination I love using e.l.f. - Clear Brow & Lash Mascara this clear brow gel works amazing and your eyebrows stay in place all day long. I’ve been using this gel for a long time and it’s the best gel I’ve used when I fluff up my brows they stay in place all day it’s great. After the gel I’ll add some extra color to my brows with e.l.f. - Wow Brow Gel matches my natural eyebrow color so nicely Sure can’t go wrong with these elf products I love them and they work great. I also love the natural model makeup look and I’m so inspired to create that look everyday it’s elegant and pretty but natural and glossy.

winged liner in under a minute!
winged liner is one of my favorite makeup steps ever! I know there’s some hesitation for a lot of people, so I wanted to film this simple tutorial to show that it’s really easy! anyone can master it. in the video, I’m looking down into a mirror, I often look up to make sure the liner is turning out the way I want it. when doing this at home. you can check your work by simply stepping back from your mirror. step 1. I start my liner on the outside half of my eye. I have round eyes, and I don’t want to emphasize that roundness, so I keep the liner on the outside corner to emphasize length. step 2. I draw a straight line parallel to the ground. step 3. I draw another line, from the bottom of my eye straight up, at the angle I want my wing. step 4. connect both lines. step 5. from the furthest point, bring the liner all the way back to your first point. step 6. fill in! step 7. if you want a longer wing, you simply flick your liner from the wing you’ve already created. I used CLIO - Waterproof Pen Liner Kill which I like because it’s VERY sharp, but a softer black color. if you’re just learning how to do wings this is a good option!

My Mental Wellness Improved Through My Self AcceptanceWhen I was around 13 or 14 years old, I remember routinely taking one of my older sister’s black eyeliner pencils before school every morning. I’d arrive early so that I could slip away to the girl’s bathroom to apply a single black line to my eyelids. My parents didn’t allow me to wear any makeup at the time. Although this smudgy line on my eyelids didn’t make me look all that much different, I never felt comfortable at school without it. My teenage mind convinced myself that I needed some sort of cosmetic symbol in order to appropriately express my femininity. Up until that point in my life, society had told girls that looked like me - tall, Black, and with kinky hair - that we somehow weren’t as beautiful as the other girls. For far too long, I believed it too.Feb. 17
