Generation G Looks Pretty Ggggood 👄
I love lipstick, but as someone who is always sipping, snacking and chewing gum, it can be a struggle to keep it on. That’s why I was excited to try Glossier’s Generation G Sheer Matte Lipstick. It’s supposed to look sheer and a bit, um worn (? I couldn’t think of a better descriptive word!). I chose the lipstick in the shade Zip, which is a pretty poppy red. I always love this sort of orangey red shade because it makes my eyes look crazy blue. The lipstick does what it says it will do. It provides a sheer wash of color that is buildable. I love the way it looks. It also wears off in a nice, not too noticeable way. I’m giving it four out of five stars only because it’s a little uncomfortable to wear. If you have dry lips it will not feel nice. Honestly, if half stars were possible, I’d give this 4.5, but all in all, I’m a fan! I’m probably going to buy another shade or two. Which do you recommend? Glossier. - Generation G Sheer Matte Lipstick

Created an excellent red lip using Glossier Gen G in Jam and Fenty’s new Cream Gloss Bomb in Fruit Snackz. 💋💋
Gun-Metal Grey to up the Drama
My health has been failing me as of late, so glamming up has been the highlight of my day (excuse the pun). Today, I played with two palettes that I’ve had for a while, but I haven’t tried many fun looks with them since I usually stick to neutral, basic looks. I used colors from my Clinique All About Basics Palette and the Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics Palette. These colors are beautiful, easy to blend, and last all throughout the day. For the lips, I mixed NYX Lingerie Liquid Lipstick in Lipli 06 and Honest Beauty Tinted Lip Balm in Plum Drop. The blush is my usual Glossier Cloud Paint in Beam. Highlight is tréStique Highlighter Stick in Maldives Luminescent. I also threw on a little bit of the Sunset Bronzer from Aesthetica. Smoky, gun-metal grey looks are classic for a reason 💨

My longtime obsession with long nails //PICS!🔪
Yup, I’m that girl clickin & clackin on her phone! Sorrrry💁🏻♀️ 💅🏽💅🏿💅🏼💅🏾💅🏻 I’ve been obsessed with crazy long nails since i was a little kid. I got my first set of acrylics probably sophomore year of high school. I was pretty tomboy in high school even though I wore a lot of makeup, they were pretty annoying at first & the dance companies I was in banned fake nails for shows & even practice. I would get sets occasionally in college, but went to art school & they definitely get in the way with certain processes. ♿️ I got severely injured in 2014, when I was 26, & the cuticle biting habit I’ve always had was sooo bad because I literally had nothing to do all day. I was working as a server in California at the time, so I was definitely not allowed to have fake nails or nail polish of any kind. I ended up returning to acrylics full time after I got injured & I could finally stop biting my cuticles! The nails just look so pretty, I felt less eager to mess with them & the nails are thicker than a natural nail so you can’t pick at your skin (or pop pimples with this length! Plus!) 💔 A combination of moving away from my favorite nail tech, ( TONY I LOVE YOU & OH HOW MISS YOU SO! ) & obviously quarantine, forced me to abandon my long fake nails for now. The damage: Getting full acrylic sets & fills pretty much non-stop for almost 6 years, my real nails were not cute, thin & brittle. I was so lucky to have a very talented & meticulous technician for the last 2 of those years. I honestly never had any of the nasty issues some people can face with acrylics. What are acrylics? Acrylic nails are created by first applying a plastic nail extension with glue to part of your nail to add length. Then a powder & liquid acrylic monomer are combined into a sort of “blob of dough” & shaped onto your nails with a brush & air dried. Next they will be further shaped & smoothed with manual & electric files. A GOOD tech will take about 2 hours, not less. I always chose gel polish that’s cured with a UV light on top of my acrylics, but you can also just do regular nail polish. I worked up to this length- they make me feel like myself, know what I mean? But I wouldn’t recommend starting off long if you aren’t used to it. Your natural nails grow out & then in 2-3 weeks you can get what’s called a “fill”, where your polish is removed & a small amount of the monomer is applied to the base of your nail bed & blended into what you already have on your nail. Quarantine: Had my last real set in February... I ordered long press-ons a few times, which I really loved, but they’re just not the same strength-wise. I was actually kinda rough on my nails & rarely broke them. At least when press-ons pop off, you can just glue it back on instead of rushing to the salon! I’ve had fun trying ones with gems & charms! In the past I stuck to solid colors & glitter with acrylics due to the cost & sitting time. IMO the best press-ons are from black owned business, Hawt Nailz!
This Is My Love That I Can Not Give Up Ever!
Lip styling is an important expression of a person's style and mood of the day. Creating a satin lip look is a problem that every girl is thinking about, and the key to the problem is a lip product that matches their temperament. Only the right color and texture can create the perfect effect. YVES SAINT LAURENT - Tatouage Couture Liquid Matte Lip Stain 08 black red code --- deep burgundy $38 This is a high impact liquid matte lip stain. Its formula has high adhesion like ink, and will not fade for eight or nine hours a day. But it will not burden your lips, it can create a naked-lip feel. When the formula slips on the lips, we hardly feel any sensation because it dries quickly and does not transfer. The most surprising thing is its applicator, which can provide a precise lip liner through the control of the brush, so as to perfectly define the lips every time it is applied. The color of YSL TATOUAGE COUTURE LIQUID MATTE LIP STAIN 08 is very temperamental. It is a darker wine red. Everyone may have a different color after applying it on the lips, but overall, this color will appear very aura. The color of this LIP STAIN is very high, once it is applied to the lips, it will immediately have a very obvious color. At the same time, its durability is also very good. Whether you drink water or eat, it will not take off makeup. Of course, this also means that it needs more moisturizing lips, so the first step in using this LIP STAIN is to apply a thick lip balm to your lips to make your lips moisturized enough. After waiting for a few minutes, after your lips have absorbed, wipe the residue with a paper towel so that it will not affect the texture of the LIP STAIN application.

This tinted lip balm is amazing. It’s perfect for when your lips are dry or cracked but still want a touch of color. It helps repair your lips while you wear it and gives you a good lip color. The tinted lip oil is great for when you want a glossy lip but also still healing your lips. It has a thicker consistency but still looks great. Definitely recommend both of these products. Matte Lipsticks often make your lips feel uncomfortable and dehydrated. My lips sometimes shrivel up and I get really thirsty too when I am wearing matte colours. When the Matte feeling has worn thin on me to rehydrate I pop a-bit of Balm or vaseline over the top. This hydrates the lips instantly, making them feel nourished and soft again, but still with that lip colour underneath. I also use this method for light matte nude shades that do not quite suit my skin tone. This changes their finish and makes them wearable. Give it a try. Featured glossier - Birthday Balmdotcom - my fave balm. Smells delish, instantly nourishes and hydrates my lips with a slight added shimmer. too faced - Peach Kiss Matte Lipstick - This colour is perfect 👌🏻
Beauty Superlatives - Lip Product Awards
Y’all know we can’t live without a good lip product and today I am going to feature three of my favorite items! First, the best lip gloss is Halo - Lip Gloss (All Natural) Rose Gold an Australian brand that prides themselves in making products with only natural ingredients (i.e beeswax, coconut oil, vitamin e, and more). Each lipgloss has a mirror on the back and a light that turns on when you remove the wand from the tube. It’s such a shear color that can be worn alone or with another lipstick. Swatch is the first one in the second picture. This item was kindly gifted in exchange for a review but typically retails for $29.00. If you’re into clean beauty, I recommend you check this one out. Next, is the Best Matte Liquid Lipstick DOSE OF COLORS - DOSE OF COLORS Liquid Matte Lipstick in shade Plum Queen. It retails for $18.00 and comes in 35 shades! This color here stays put all day and it’s the perfect shade to be worn all year long if you are into dark berry shades. There are so many shades (check out picture 2 for swatch) to pick from but I always go for the same one! If you’re into matte shades, I recommend you get this one! Finally, I present you with my Best Lip Balm award to PAT McGRATH LABS - Lip Fetish Balm ! There are times when we just need soft lips but with our the shine or color. That’s when this sheer lip balm comes into play! It’s so sheer you can’t even see it in the swatch image 👀. But it’s definitely one of those high end items you should get it only if you can afford it! At a whopping $40.00 it is one item you should carefully consider if you need it! I currently have a mini sample and use it in moderation to save it for as long as possible. I hope you all enjoyed My Lip Product Awards! ✨✨✨

Lip Plumping Lip Glosses You NEED 🥰
Lip Gloss is a makeup bag essential and my dessert island item. I always keep a lip gloss in my purse especially in the summer when I am going for a “no-makeup” makeup look. What I love about lip gloss is you don’t have to spend a ton of money to find a great one. Some of the best are under $10. These are my FAVORITE glosses. They each have a lip plumping factor to give your lips an extra boost and I can’t live without them. 🌸 SOAP & GLORY - Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Plumping Gloss Plums Up - This is my all time favorite gloss. It is lip plumping so it gives your little boost. There is not as much shimmer in this gloss and it is not as fine as some of the others so the pink tone shines through. It doesn’t feel super sticky and has a bit of a medicated/tingling feeling on the lips (which I’ve grown to like). This product is only $8.99. 🌸 FENTY BEAUTY - Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer Fenty Glow - Really like this gloss. It has a thick consistency and it lasts pretty long. I found that I don’t have to reapply this gloss as much as I do some of the others. It doesn’t have any tingling sensation on the lips. It has a peachy tint to it but the natural color of your lips still shines through. This product is $19. 🌸 SEPHORA COLLECTION - Colorful Lip Gloss Balm Cream of the Crop Top- this is another thick gloss with a blush pink tint. This is a bit sticky but it lasts a long time. My only qualm about this is that it doesn’t have a brush applicator and it makes it a bit difficult to regulate how much product you want to dispense. It is $9 at Sephora. 🌸 Artistry Signature Lip Color Light Up Gloss: Champagne - I love this product! The packaging is amazing! The top has lights underneath and the base has a mirror so that you can apply anywhere. It is infused with Jojoba and Avocado oils so it keeps your lips hydrated. It has a minty scent and has a tingling feeling on the lips. The shimmer creates an iridescent glow on your lips. It retails for $19 on amway.com

Celebeau @celebeau_usa Marble Change Lip - Burning Orange . . 💎 3-in-1: lip tint, lipstick, lip balm 💎Changes color based on your lips/lips temperature 💎Hyaluronic avid and vitamin D help provide and seal in moisture 💎$15, available on snpcos.us . . I wasn’t sure how I would feel about this, because it sort of looked like children’s play makeup— the fun, bright swirling marble lipstick with the chunky, plastic orange container reminded me of a fake makeup set I had in elementary school that I played around with. But I was very pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed this lip color after my first use! . The lip color feels really comfortable on my lips. I thought it would be sort of waxy and that maybe it would tug a little, but it glides super smooth and has no weird texture. It didn’t accentuate my chapped lips, and it’s more moisturizing than several drugstore-brand tinted lip balms I’ve tried. . On my arm, the color is very faint and light, almost like I swiped a tinted chapstick. On my lips, however, the color changes and settles to a soft rose with a slight sheen. The orange almost completely disappears and it becomes a beautiful color— not a pigmented color or the orange/pink marble you see in the product, but a very natural-looking color. It’s hard to see on my arm, but the swatch that I took on a plain white napkin more accurately shows what the color looks like on my lips. At first, it was a mix of bright pink and orange, but it slowly changed to a muted, pretty reddish mauve. (The graininess you see is from the texture of the napkin, not the product.) I’m glad this “Burning Orange” color turned out to be such a pretty color; I can see myself wearing it daily! .
