Pretty and Lazy? Or both!!
First, thank you to the 100 @cherie users that are following me so far 💙 Next, makeup-free beauty advice for the WILDLY LAZY! 1. Minimize ☀️ damage. And don’t smoke. Sun damage gives you spots crepey/leathery skin later in life and smoking gives you pucker lines, dry/saggy skin, and brittle hair. Apply sunscreen daily to your neck, chest, backs of your hands just like you do your face.. I didn’t and those are the areas where my skin will give away my age! I’m still total crap at remembering sunscreen on my face every day. When I was younger I was always afraid sunblock on my face would cause acne so I NEVER used it. To be fair they didn’t really have oil-free or face specific sunblock when I was in my teens or 20’s and I grew up in the days where broiling yourself in the ☀️ covered in baby oil was normal. If you are like me and have the attention span/memory of a 🐿, and can’t remember one more thing each day - at the VERY LEAST buy skincare/makeup with sunscreen already in them, get bronze with sunless tanner (I love Tanwise at Sally’s it’s a great MineTan dupe), then wear cute hats. Wear allllll the hats!!! 🧢👒 2. Get enough 💤 & use that time to treat your skin. If you stick to just one part of your routine - make it your PM routine so alllll that good stuff can just soak into your skin overnight. If you are exhausted & all you can do is face wipes then so be it. Try to actually wash the gunk off the majority of nights. But also, 😴 on a clean pillowcase! This is hella lazy. Pillowcases are cheap. Buy half a dozen of them. We are all out here spending $$$ on eye shadow palettes, pillowcases are like $3. Put a weeks worth of clean pillowcases on your pillow at the beginning of the week. Then peel one off each night. Your skin will thank you 👍🏼 3. Be kind to your skin. Don’t pull, pick, or tug at your skin. If you have to push your makeup into your skin it probably isn’t the right formula. Apply creams and lotions gently. Pat them on. Use your pinky or ring finger around your 👁& if your skin freaks out for a minute, just remember it’s only temporary! You are so much more than a breakout. Find that thing that you slay at - Winged liner? Lashes? A bold lip? and rock that. Throw on sunglasses. If you have a breakout one day don’t just toss your whole routine in the trash and immediately introduce a whole new set of things for your skin to deal with. And if things just aren’t working - big a$$ 🕶 (which also keep you from squinting which will cause crows feet!) and a confident 😁 will distract from whatever skin insecurities you are feeling. If you aren’t letting your skin bother you, it’s likely that no one else will notice! Here’s your excuse to buy great sunglasses! Be gentle and kind to your skin. And yourself. Somewhere out there there someone looks at you and thinks “Damn, that’s the most beautiful person in the universe” - even if you don’t always see it! 💙

Sample to Full Size - This Korean BB Nails it
This is my new favorite foundation for this season. First got it as a sample from Sephora, and just wen for a full size the following week. This is a Korean brand sold in Sephora. Dr. Jart+ - Premium Beauty Balm SPF 45 I also find this BB has a slightly luminous finish that makes my skin look so fresh and lovely. My skin looks so flawless and it covers all my dark spots. This brand is pretty new to me. I started using it around a month ago. It wears flawlessly throughout the day. This is light, moisturizing coverage with the extra bonus of being SPF 45! It has a slight grey tone to it, but it’s surprisingly very flattering and blurs out the skin beautifully. I would say this foundation provides a light but build-able to medium coverage. It's almost a demi-matte finish? This is a medium coverage foundation. It really has made me skin glow and not in the sense of it’s a glowy, satin like foundation. It is also lightweight but still has medium buildable coverage. The formula is really nice. It’s thin as is feels breathable but still provides I would say ,medium coverage that is definitely buildable. It’s one of those “your skin but better” foundations. It doesn’t cling to dry patches. Depending on how you apply the foundation, it could be light to medium. This bb cream has a natural, skin like finish and can be used with your hands, a brush or a sponge to create a beautiful finish. I really like the formula, it t has hyaluronic acid to help retain moisture. It blends beautifully whether you’re using cream or powder products It’s non comedogenic so it won’t clog your pores or make your skin break out. If you have oil prone skin you may have to blot throughout the day and I can't for sure say you would probably love it because l'm not currently super oily, but if you're dry-normal-or just oily in the t-zone like I usually am, l'd recommend it Cons I would want them to make more shades. Not pricey it’s The packaging is really nice and classy. I would recommend this to all my dewy friends
My Everyday Summer 2020 Makeup Routine
My routine always starts with a good skincare routine! Find one that works for you and make sure it includes SPF! I’ve been using a moisturizer with SPF ORIGINS - A Perfect World SPF 40 Age-Defense Moisturizer with White Tea This dual product is nice because I don’t have to add an extra layer to get moisture I need! It’s a great product but I will probably end up going back to my COOLA which is my holy grail. COOLA - Classic Face Sunscreen Moisturizer SPF 50 I’ve always done my eye makeup first so I’ve been using the ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Norvina Eyeshadow Palette shades Incense and passion in the crease with tarte - Limited-edition Clay Pot Waterproof Shadow Liner in the shade Rose Gold all over the lid. Next, I’ve been using the Dr. Jart+ - Premium Beauty Balm SPF 45 This is the only BB Cream I’ve used that gets along with my combo-oily skin! Plus it has bonus SPF! Then I apply the ESTĒE LAUDER - Double Wear Stay-In-Place Flawless Wear Concealer to my under eyes. This concealer is fine but it’s way too drying and full coverage for my taste. Then I use the BECCA - Sunlit Bronzer basically all over my face 😂 nose, cheeks, forehead! I use the shade Bronzed Bondi. Helps me look like I actually have a tan! It has a subtle sheen that makes it look so natural! Then I blend a light amount of the PHYSICIANS FORMULA - Murumuru Butter Blush in Vintage Rouge into my cheeks. Then, I apply the HOURGLASS - Veil Translucent Setting Powder to my undereyes, my T zone, and my jawline. Finally I draw in my eyebrows with ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Dipbrow Pomade and set them with the ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - ANASTASIA Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel The clear brow get is fine but it’s too drying and crunchy for me. Finally I apply mascara! Rodial - Glamolash Mascara XXL This mascara is fine but it clumps up so easily so you have to be careful! #cheriepartner
Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint Broad Spectrum SPF 40
ILIA - Super Serum Skin Tint Broad Spectrum ***UPDATE*** I saw on Instagram Simone put this on by putting a few drops in their hands and rubbing it on their face like a serum and that had make this SO MUCH BETTER! Before I was just using it like a regular foundation, dotting it all over and using a beauty blender but this really works much better with the fingers. So this gets a 5/5 from me now! So I’ve tried the Kosas Tinted Face Oil and it was great for the summer, but they have a lot of yellow toned shades, which I am not, I’m a neutral. So I’ve head people compare it to this Ilia skin tint and I got it for Christmas! This comes with a learning curve, I’ve had to take it off and put it on in different ways and figure it out. I think my dry skin doesn’t work well with this either, I think it sticks to my dry patches even when I extra moisturize my skin and prep it. I can’t win! I like the way it feels and looks otherwise, I’ve just always had issues with foundations in the winter because of just how dry my skin gets. I think this would be awesome if my skin wasn’t so dry, that’s kind of my verdict with most foundations.
For aging skin I’m not sure these can be beat
I’ve tried all the foundations. I’ve had my color matched. I’ve had my makeup done. And I’m over it. Current situation: I have 2 bottles of Ilia Super Skin Serum Tint (so I can mix shades as I get winter pale or hopefully not as during the summer) and literally 6 bottles of this cheap Wet n Wild stuff in 3 different shades for the same reason. My daily go-to is the ILIA - Super Serum Skin Tint Broad Spectrum It’s gorgeous. It makes your skin look amazing. Dewy. Fresh. Perfect no make-up make-up. I can’t feel it on. I’m hooked. But let’s be real, when you’re in your 40’s there are just days when you need actual make-up make-up. Bring on the Wet n Wild. It’s definitely full coverage. But sometimes I mix it in my palm with primer or moisturizer for a lighter coverage. Sometimes I just use what’s on the applicator as concealer. Sometimes I just feel the need for a full spackle job and this stuff is perfect. It blends out evenly into my skin with a damp blender and it’s not heavy at all so it doesn’t settle into lines. If it does I can just blend it right out. Did I mention it’s cheap as heck? I’m never going back.

TikTok concealer coverage hack 🔥
So I was browsing TikTok the other day (as one does) and I stumbled upon a clip of someone saying if you let your concealer sit for a few minutes before blending it out, it gives you better coverage, so I decided to try it! NOTE: only apply the concealer to areas you want covered, not just all over/messily. What you’ll need: Primer, concealer, and a blending tool (finger, brush, or sponge—I find you get the most coverage when using a dense brush) Products used: Primer: Supergoop Matte Screen Supergoop! - 100% Mineral Smooth & Poreless Matte Screen SPF 40 Concealer: Milk MAKEUP - Flex Concealer Brush: it Cosmetics - Love is the Foundation Brush Does the hack work? YES!! The concealer was a bit drying after this, but if I use a dewy spray or foundation on top of it, it will bring it back to life! Did I like the result? For the most part yes. Since the concealer ended up being dryer, it emphasized my texture a bit more but I would rather have texture than redness. Highly recommend this hack to anyone who needs a little extra coverage from their concealer!

✨NEW Purlisse Illuminating Glow BB Cream ✨
Hey Babes 👋🏼 If you’ve seen my past posts, you know I absolutely love purlisse products, so I was very excited when they released their newest product, radiant glow Illuminating BB Cream. ✨✨ This is another version of their current BB cream that is matte. You can see my Before and After with just the BB Cream on and no other makeup in addition to swatches Of their original and new radiant glow. I’m wearing the shade “Medium”. For someone with oily skin, I was skeptical to buy this because I’ve tried other illuminating products that didn’t work, but this one does!! It’s oil-free, moisturizing and safe for all skin types. 👏🏻 Coverage is minimal and lightweight since this is a BB cream, so apply as base or primer under your foundation if you want full coverage. Your skin is left with a nice dewy glow, without the oily look. It product also has titanium dioxide and zinc oxide for SPF protection that WON’T clog pores. 😍😍 Both products retail for $35 and are 1.4 oz. pūrlisse - Radiant Glow Illuminating BB Cream SPF 30 pūrlisse - BB Tinted Moist Cream SPF30 #cheriecreator

Is Ilia’s Skin Tint Worth The Hype??🤔👀
In a word...YES!! I saw so many reviews about this product and just had to try it out for myself! ILIA - Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 is the Skin Tint/foundation of my DREAMS and the perfect product for me! First of all it’s non-comedogenic which is so important for me, and it contains Niacinamide (basically my fav ingredient of all time), Squalane, & Hyaluronic Acid! It also has 12% Zinc Oxide so it’s also an SPF 40 sunscreen! Basically this product is a cocktail of good ingredients and the results are just amazing!! While it goes on a little thick at first like a serum, it quickly absorbs into the skin and truly feels like you’re not wearing anything at all! I’m picky about foundations as I hate the feeling of heavy makeup, but I always forget I’m wearing this product and it still has a good medium coverage! The results are dewy, glowy, natural looking skin😍😍 In the second picture all I have on my face is the Ilia Skin Tint with no filter or anything. As you can see there’s still some slight redness from some residual acne scars on my chin, but I wanted to show what the coverage is really like! I am fair skinned (as you can tell) and I worked with an employee at Sephora to find the right shade for me! I am pictured wearing the shade ST 3 - BALOS. I 100% recommend this product, it’s worth the money and I will be repurchasing!!

The Best Products for a Flawless Glowy Base
It’s summertime...we all love a glowy no-makeup-makeup look but sometimes it takes some effort to get us there right?😆 These products are what I’ve been counting on to give me that flawless base that actually holds up throughout the day and looks like I didn’t try ~too~ hard. Swipe through to see the products on my skin! • Supergoop! - Unseen Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 40 - this stuff absorbs quick, doesn’t pill, and makes a great base for makeup. Don’t ever skip your spf! • ILIA - True Skin Radiant Priming Serum - this primer is beautiful and really helps keep your makeup in place while giving you a natural, glowy radiance. It has a lightweight texture and sinks into the skin so nicely, it also has a bit of grip which is perfect for adding any type of foundation overtop. • Haleys Beauty RE:INVENT BB Drops - these have quickly become my favourite makeup product of the summer. They are light weight and feel more like skincare than makeup, but give a beautiful natural finish + tint to the skin. • cocokind - Mai-light Rosé highlighter - this highlighter is gorgeous and again, so natural looking. I use it on my cheeks, cheek bones, and eyelids for a pop of glow! These are the products I’ve been loving for those days I don’t really feel like doing my makeup but I still want to look glowy + put together. #CheriePartner

It’s not a secret that I adore Dr. Jart products. My skin has some redness that just Will Not Quit and sometimes im not in the mood to really commit to wearing makeup but don’t want to be totally barefaced. Enter: Dr. Jart+ - Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment SPF 30 A little bit of this goes a long way. It goes on green and will blend into a beige color - while doing so, it completely negates redness and color corrects. It’s a little bit heavy, which is my only issue with it, but it does exactly what it promises. It definitely isn’t a product for everyone, but if you have redness issues and your skin isn’t dry as a desert this may be worth checking out it’s $52 for 1.7 oz, and $18 for .5 oz - ive never purchased the full-size bc I find that the small size lasts for literal months

boscia bb cream - shade venice
boscia - Skin Perfecting BB Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Honestly.. not my favorite? The color blends out to a beige that fits my skin tone but it’s a little cakey. I have fair skin but I also have rosacea which means I need to color match to my neck and chest instead of my face. Claims: - protect & hydrate - blue light protective - decent against pollution - even skin tone Key ingredients: - rice blend - taro root - turmeric My thoughts - a little cakey but also not full coverage so idk how that works - hard to speak to the blue light and pollution protection because those are like long term things - evens my skin tone for sure! - I wish the shade range for this was better. There are four shades?! - $38 is ughh for a bb cream
