COVERGIRL - Clean Fresh Pressed Powder You know what they say: when you find a powder that you love, hold onto it and never let it go! This Covergirl Clean Fresh Pressed Powder is the best drugstore powder I have tried. 💸 $8.99-$12 🤍 9 Shades 💧 Talc-free, cruelty-free & vegan This powder sets my makeup to a natural finish (not matte 👍), and provides just a ✨touch✨ of coverage. This is the shade Fair. I much prefer powders that offer a slight tint or a little additional coverage as I always find translucent powders to lift my base for some reason. I use this everywhere, including my under eyes. It can be dusted or built up to provide different levels of coverage. I dust & buff this in with both large & small powder brushes and it just smoothes my skin in a beautiful way. I've never had an issue with it looking cakey or heavy. I first heard @smlx0 (on YouTube) raving about this powder & I trust her recommendations so I immediately ordered it. In one of her videos she used it as a powder foundation with her damp makeup sponge, which is what I want to try next. I have to pick up a slightly darker shade first as this one is quite light if I'm going to use it as foundation. What are your favorite powders— drugstore & high end? Share with the class ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Serum in a mist format💦
Serum in a mist format💦
Hydrating layers are SO important in my skincare routine, especially in the fall/winter. I've been testing a few and the d'Alba White Truffle First Spray Serum came at the perfect time! - This serum mist comes in a bi-phase mist form, and contains Italian white truffle, chia seed extract & avocado oil for hydration & protection. This has been my mist of choice to use in between each of my skincare steps, and it doesn't leave me greasy but still is hydrating which is important!!! - It has a faint fragrance (not of truffle lol) and I have not found it to be irritating. It has a fine mister & applies evenly, I'm loving it after I do my makeup as well. - You can find this serum spray on D'Alba's Amazon page as well as Soko Glam, Yesstyle iHerb & Style Korea. I've seen it retail for $22-$35. What are your favorite hydrating mists?! I've always been interested in the Tatcha & Youth to the People ⬇️

Affordable, Hydrating Eye Cream🤍👀
Affordable, Hydrating Eye Cream🤍👀
I have only recently gotten into wearing eye cream, recently as in the beginning of quarantine back in March (can you say ✨stress✨). I have a couple that I have been using & loving for different purposes, so when @cocokind sent over their new Revitalizing Eye Cream I was excited to put it to the test! cocokind - Revitalizing Eye Cream Star ingredients: ✨persian silk tree ✨hibiscus flower acids ✨oat extract ✨marula oil Pros! 🤍Cert. organic 🤍Cooling metal tip applicator 🤍Recyclable sugarcane tube 🤍Accessible & affordable I find the texture of this eye cream to be thicker & moisturizing, meaning I will be making it my fall/winter eye cream for extra hydration. I definitely recommend this if you are looking to get into eye cream & have skin (or undereyes) on the dry side. I love #cocokind so much, they have an amazing brand ethos, make great products and are WOC-owned, I'm always happy to support. *I only wear eye creams in the AM as I find wearing them at night increases puffiness under my eyes the next morning. I think I have to experiment with gel or balm textures. Share your favorite eye creams!⤵️

CERAMIDES for skin repair💧
CERAMIDES for skin repair💧
I think ceramides are an extremely underrated & underutilized ingredient in skincare. ✨Ceramides are naturally found in our skin— they are the lipids (fats) in the uppermost layer of the skin. Think of them as the glue between your skin cells. They are part of the protective layer that prevents moisture loss & protects the skin from environmental stressors. ✨We need ceramides in skincare because: aging skin, environmental stressors (sun damage, pollution) and overuse of acids can deplete the natural ceramides we have. Two of my favorites at the moment: THE inkey LIST - Ceramide Night Treatment 💧Thick gel-like texture 💧Absorbs into the skin Ingredients: Aqua (Water/ Eau), Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Carbomer, Phenoxyethanol, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Benzyl Alcohol, Squalane, Sodium Lauroyl Lactylate, Sodium PCA, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Sodium Lactate, Arginine, Aspartic Acid, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Gluconate, PCA, Polysorbate 60, Dehydroacetic Acid, Ceramide NP, Glycine, Alanine, Sorbitan Isostearate, Ceramide AP, Phytosphingosine, Serine, Cholesterol, Valine, Xanthan Gum, Isoleucine, Proline, Threonine, Histidine, Phenylalanine, Ceramide EOP. CeraVe - Healing Ointment 💧More of an occlusive 💧Does not fully sink into skin 💧Greasy texture Ingredients: Petrolatum, Paraffinum Liquidum / Mineral Oil / Huile Minerale, Paraffin, Ozokerite, Dimethicone, Aqua / Water / Eau, Ceramide Np, Ceramide Ap, Ceramide Eop, Carbomer, Sodium Lauroyl Lactylate, Proline, Cholesterol, Phenoxyethanol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Tocopherol, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Panthenol, Pantolactone, Phytosphingosine, Xanthan Gum, Ethylhexylglycerin From my notes above, I feel like it sounds as though I prefer one over the other. I love these both for different reasons, and I use them together! 🤍Ceramide Night Treatment: Although this says night treatment, I think if you have a damaged skin barrier you would benefit applying this am and pm. I find if you use a small amount it absorbs and does not leave you greasy. Feels plumping & hydrating, good for layering. Go thick at night! 🤍Healing Ointment: I first heard about this product thanks to Reddit and #sluglife, which is basically applying an occlusive (like Vaseline) at the end of your routine to seal it in & protect the skin. I've been using it ever since. Not only to I apply it almost every night but it has replaced my chapsticks (no longer addicted) and it works WONDERS to heal blemishes , cuts & wounds (it's an occlusive, so it lets your skin heal). When looking at ingredients, the Inkey List looks (& feels irl) more cosmetically elegant. However, don't discount the Cerave. While they're not dupes, they both have ceramides & HA, and work to protect the skin. I've repurchased the Cerave many times. Have you tried these? ⤵️Let's chat!

New Plumping Gloss!👄
New Plumping Gloss!👄
Enjoying these new glosses from Bite Beauty! Yaysayer Plumping Lip Gloss Shade: Guava Puff BITE - Yaysayer Plumping Lip Gloss ✨Very subtle tingling ✨Tastes like sweet chai ✨Rubber twist-up applicator While I'm enjoying using these glosses I don't know if I would recommend them. ▶️ The twist-up mechanism and rubber applicator make it easy to push up too much product which is wasteful. ▶️ The plumping isn't that noticeable. ▶️ While I'm loving the color and look of the gloss, I don't think this launch is necessarily worth the price. I think spend your 💲 on a high quality lip plumper (Dr Devgan) and find a gloss you love (so many good ones at the drugstore!) and you've got a winning combo. Let me know your favorite lip plumpers and glosses!! ⬇️

HOLY GRAIL💧GEL MOISTURIZER
HOLY GRAIL💧GEL MOISTURIZER
Hands down, this cream is my year-round, HOLY GRAIL moisturizer! 🤍 Simple - Water Boost Skin Quench Sleep Cream Even though it's named as a sleeping cream, I use this as my daytime moisturizer. It has a lightweight, gel texture but is EXTREMELY hydrating. I am able to use this in the cold, dry winters and hot, humid summers of New York, and it works for both and all seasons in between. Combine it with a super hydrating toner and you're GOLDEN and GLOWING. 💧 This has no scent (which I absolutely love) and has never irritated my skin in any way. 💧 I have repurchased this multiple times and always have a backup. I often find it on sale or a BOGO at the drugstore. 💧 If you like the Neutrogena HydroBoost line but are looking for something without fragrance and less silicone-feeling, this is it. Neutrogena - Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel Moisturizer I can't recommend this cream enough! 10/10/10/10/10 10 STARS! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Timeless Skin Care is one of my absolute favorite brands because their products are affordable and effective. These two are a staple in my morning routine! 🤍 IMO their popular products are their Vitamin C+E Ferulic (hailed as an extremely affordable dupe for skinceuticals) and their HA serums. timeless SKIN CARE - 20% Vitamin C + E Ferulic Acid Serum timeless SKIN CARE - Hyaluronic Acid 100% Pure ⭐️ I love their other products as well because they utilize the potent peptides Matrixyl 3000 and Matrixyl Synthe 6— both powerful wrinkle fighters. 💧 The spray is new to me and I'm loving it because it smells amazing, the sprayer is great, and it contains Matrixyl 3000 and HA. timeless SKIN CARE - HA Matrixyl 3000™ w/ Orange Spray 🙌 I also love their pure squalane oil bc I'm a squalane STAN. I had really high hopes for kr
I had really high hopes for kravebeauty’s Great Barrier Relief the very second it was revealed. If liahyoo’s name is attached to something, you’re going to want to try it. 〰️ If you weren’t aware, GBR is a serum that helps to gently restore your skin’s precious barrier. A poor functioning skin barrier is the culprit behind so many skin issues including dehydration, dryness, rosacea, etc. This product was created to keep your barrier healthy! 〰️ The magical ingredient in this product is tamanu oil. Tamanu oil possesses powerful skin healing properties and was traditionally used to treat wounds and other skin ailments. It also said to help to eliminate hyperpigmentation over time. 〰️ GBR also contains: safflower oil, rosehip seed oil, ceramides, cholesterol, and niacinamide. Together, these ingredients combine to create a beautifully nourishing skin cocktail. It truly does what it sets out to do, which is to protect and heal irritated skin. 〰️ This serum is everything I wanted it to be. The texture is soft and velvety. It is so gentle, yet extremely effective. My texture and tone has noticeably improved over the past several weeks. I adore the scent - it smells really fresh without being overpowering or offensive. I reach for it morning and night. In fact, I’m already about halfway through the bottle. It is well worth $28 and I would gladly repurchase it again. The best part? Every purchase of GBR helps protect the Great Barrier Reef!
