Cutest birthday card deserves a spotlight on some of my current favs: •Eve Lom “Radiance Face Oil”: this face oil smells amazing (fresh roses, not too strong), it dries quickly, is super hydrating and leaves my skin glowing. I have been using this a few nights a week (my skin is too oily to use in the morning). •Herbivore “Phoenix Cell Regenerating Facial Oil”: I just received this in a Sephora package 2 days ago, so I can’t say much about it other than I love the pretty glass jar bottle (I’m a sucker for pretty packaging) and it has a really airy, clean/floral scent; it also dries quickly and leaves a subtle glow. •Peter Thomas Roth “Cucumber Gel Mask”: this is such a refreshing lightweight gel mask that is perfect for dehydrated skin or healing skin after too much sun - it doesn’t really have a scent though (seems like it should smell like cucumbers •Dr. Dennis Gross “Hyaluronic Marine Dew It All Gel”: It has more of a lotion/gel texture to it but dries almost instantaneously so you can use it before bed or in the morning. Hyaluronic acid is the primary ingredient so it provides good hydration & helps smooth away fine lines, but I’ve also found that using it before bed helps prevent under eye puffiness (which I can get to the extreme). A+! . •Isle of Paradise “Dark Self Tanning Drops”: this is the neatest concept - you apply a few drops (“1-12”) to whatever moisturizer you choose & then apply to your body (I have sensitive skin so I avoid facial self tanners). The color is great for my summer skin-tone, but I would probably need the medium for upcoming months since I won’t be in the sun much more. After application, my tan from these drops lasted about 5 days- I will be repurchasing! •Tatcha “The Silk Canvas”: this is a makeup primer- I was a little skeptical at first since it is a balm (I typically use oil-free liquid primers) but now I am obsessed! It has the best velvety texture to it - it kind of melts on your fingers so a little ends up going a long way, and it provides a matte finish.

Hydrating Eye Serum
Dr Dennis Gross - Hyaluronic Marine Dew It Right Eye Gel This is an eye serum to make the eye area dewy and hydrated. It’s target concerns are dark circles, puffiness, fine lines, and dryness. It has a great consistency a little less liquidity than a typical serum but still not thick enough to be considered a cream. It feels like a hyaluronic gel almost but with a tint of yellow. I got this serum because my eyes always are looking for a lil extra love and hydration. I have used it for over a month and absolutely love it. It’s insanely hydrating and nourishing. My eyes literally feel so much brighter! I would recommend buying this product bc while it is almost $50 for the full size it lasts for ever and is so good! Pictured is the mini size and I use the amount on my finger for both eyes and it will probably last about 2-3 months total! So the bigger size will last even longer and lets face it eye creams are expensive if you want an amazing one!

✨EYE CREAMS✨current favs …………………………………………………………………………………………… 💦 Dr. Dennis Gross “Hyaluronic Marine Dew It All Gel”: has more of a lotion/gel texture & dries almost instantaneously. Hyaluronic acid is the primary ingredient so it provides good hydration & helps smooth away fine lines- also contains green caviar algae (boosts elasticity & smoothes fine lines), caffeine/carribean gorgonian extract/sarsaparilla root (reduces water retention under the skin surface to diminish puffiness & dark circles) & optical diffusers (brightens). When I use it before bed it helps prevent under eye puffiness (which I can get to the extreme). . 💕Saturday Skin “Wide Awake Brightening Eye Cream”: contains date seed extract (brightens), Cha-7 es Complex (peptide complex to support the skin’s natural regeneration process), avocado protein extracts (firm & depuff) + hyaluronic acid (nourish & maximize hydration)-it has a lightweight gel/cream texture so it quickly absorbs into skin but it still provides good hydration! I really like the texture of this one, & it helps w/ my under eye puffiness! . 💦 Neocutis “Lumiere Bio-Restorative Eye Cream”: this is probably my favorite anti-aging eye cream of all time in terms of efficacy (& value at $97). I was first introduced to this eye cream at my local dermatologist’s office & have repurchased at least 7X now (even though a little goes a long way!). It contains Processed Skin Cell Proteins (an anti-aging blend of proteins/polypeptides that harnesses the power of human growth factors & other biological mediators to fight fine lines/wrinkles), caffeine (depuffs), hyaluronic acid (plumps & hydrates skin ) & bisabolol (primary component of essential oil extracted from chamomile that serves as a skin conditioning agent w/ anti-inflammatory & skin-healing effects to diminish dark circles, fight the appearance of fatigue & increase penetration of the other ingredients). It has a “true eye cream” texture but it absorbs into skin quickly & helps prevent & reduce my eye puffiness. ………………………………………………………………………………………… ****all purchased on my own = all honest opinions****

Is this $88 oil worth it?!
Did you know it’s reported that Kate Middletons (Duchess of Cambridge) favorite skincare product is rosehip oil? PRODUCT: Phoenix Facial Oil is a lightweight, anti-aging oil that contains vitamins, fatty acids, and antioxidants. It’s meant to support skin’s natural lipid barrier to lock moisture in and protect against dryness and environmental stressors. Key Ingredients: 🧡CoQ10: (aka coenzyme Q10) supports skins natural collagen, protects from sun damage, replenishes skin cells, reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and soothes skin. 🧡Rosehip Oil: brightens and evens out skin, regenerates and heals, helps with anti-aging, elasticity, and collagen production. It contains high levels of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids which help with acne and inflammation. 🧡Chia Seed Co2 Extract: powerful antioxidant that helps protect against environmental stressors, contains high levels of omega-3 fatty acids, helps skin hold onto moisture, and helps diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. 🧡Sea Buckthorn Oil: promotes skin hydration, elasticity, cell regeneration, and even helps treat and prevent acne. Sea Buckthorn oil also has anti-inflammatory properties that help reduce swelling and redness. MY THOUGHTS: I’m on my second bottle of this oil and firmly believe it’s worth the $88. It’s one of the most lightweight, quick-absorbing, and effective oils I’ve ever used. I used to bring it out only when my skin was acting up but now I use it daily and my skin looks better than ever! This oil is ideal for those with dry and/or acne prone skin and I highly recommend it. I give this oil a 10/10 SIDE NOTES: 🌱🐰This product is vegan, cruelty-free, gluten-free

🌱RATING HERBIVORE FACIAL OILS 🌱
Hey everyone, I wanted to do a quick little review on my experience with these three herbivore facial oils! My number one was the HERBIVORE - Lapis Blue Tansy Face Oil For Oily & Acne-Prone Skin . This is the only one of these three I would repurchase, it has a very distinct sweet herbal smell that has grown on me so much to the point were I find it absolutely delightful now. It isn’t for everyone, especially at first but if you like it I promise you will end up loving it. The full size goes for $94 for 50ml but will last you ages since you only need 3-4 drops at a time. The blue tansy oil which gives this facial oil it’s bright blue colour helps reduce redness and clear completions with its anti inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. It also has a sedative effect which can help reduce stress, tension and anxiety. This is my all time favourite facial oil, and is now a total staple in my skincare collection. Next is the HERBIVORE - Phoenix Rosehip Anti-Aging Face Oil for Dry Skin this oil is just a little too expensive for me at $115, anything above $100 is where I draw the line especially when there are so many other more affordable rosehip based oils on the market. This definitely smells floral, rose dominant, with a little soft citrus - it’s very hydrating and soothing. I’m glad I tried it but price is the main reason why I wouldn’t repurchase. And lastly HERBIVORE - Orchid Facial Oil I’m sorry... this is not for me. It may be for some but not me haha. It seriously reminds me of my grandmas bathroom - a constant overwhelming potpourri smell. It’s $84 for a full size and I’d 10/10 recommend spending the extra $10 and snag the lapis oil instead! If you like some not so delicate, feminine florals this might be for you but if you are scent sensitive this could just be a headache. Have you tried these oils? Do you agree, disagree?! Let me know your thoughts ✨💛

My fav drug store product of 2020 for only $8!
Guys, I seriously can’t tell you how much I am in love with this primer! I’ve previously used Lancôme, Smashbox, Urban Decay and CoverFX primers which are all significantly more expensive than the US$8 / AU$16 for the e.l.f. - Poreless Putty Primer This product is legit amazing! It has the most soft silky texture on the skin, fills your pores but doesn’t cause congestion or breakouts and makes my makeup look flawless! It’s a pale pink in the packaging but once it’s smooths into the skin completely disappears. There is no strong smell or fragrances so is completely pleasant to use. It’s considered by many beauty bloggers to be a dupe for the TATCHA - The Silk Canvas Protective Primerwhich I haven’t tried but at US$52 / AU$83 is roughly between 5-7 times more expensive depending on where you live! If you’re in the market for a primer which not only feels lovely on your skin but makes your pores appear smooth and your makeup flawless then I highly recommend you give the e.l.f. Poreless Putty Primer a go 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Perfect Primer (for all skin types) 💜🦄
I feel like primer is the most underrated step of the makeup routine! Many people will blame their foundation, powder, or setting spray for their makeup not lasting.. when it's really your primer or lack-of to blame! 😲 You wouldn't paint a wall without using a primer, so why would you not prime something even more precious before applying your products? The TATCHA - The Silk Canvas Protective Primer is one of the best primers I have ever used! You only need a pea sized amount of this primer to cover your whole face, meaning that this product is worth the extra coin you have to spend on it 💸 By helping to fill your pores and give you an aribrushed look 🤩 There have been a few days I've skipped foundation cause this primer alone makes my skin look so good! Will I repurchase - Totally! This primer is great and you can use any high- or low-end foundation and have amazing rests!

Dewy Skin Cream ❌ Overhyped
Dewy Skin Cream ❌ Overhyped
I think Tatcha is a really luxurious brand but they are also really hyped up because of packaging and the community. I am not a fan of this dewy skin cream. The texture of the product in the photo I posted is misleading because the product actually dried up from lack of use. It was normally a creamy texture with a beautiful purple color. So slightly ignore the texture photo! I did not like this product because of the dimethicone finish, that is a personal preference. Otherwise I think it was a decent moisturizer but certainly not worth the price point. 1.7oz for $68. You’d be better off getting a nice serum with good actives instead of wasting your money on a average moisturizer with pretty packaging and a pretty color. Overhyped for what it is. Would not recommend. Quoted via the sephora site: “What it is: A rich cream that feeds skin with plumping hydration and antioxidant-packed Japanese purple rice for a dewy, healthy glow. Skin Type: Normal and Dry Skincare Concerns: Dryness, Dullness and Uneven Texture, and Loss of Firmness and Elasticity Formulation: Rich Cream Highlighted Ingredients: - Japanese Purple Rice: Packed with nutrients and known for its ability to survive any harsh environment, it has long been used to celebrate longevity and vitality; rich in anthocyanin, a strong antioxidant, it helps skin recover from and protect against stress, pollution, and UV damage for healthier-looking skin. - Okinawa Algae Blend and Hyaluronic Acid: Captures water to help replenish skin’s natural moisture reservoir, immediately leaving skin soft, comforted, and deeply nourished; helps to replenish ceramides to ensure optimum skin barrier function, aiding in the reduction of future moisture loss, for skin that is visibly smooth and plump with hydration. - Botanical Extracts: From ginseng, wild thyme, and sweet marjoram; nourishes skin, enhancing its natural ability to retain and release moisture as needed, and imparts a dewy glow.” TATCHA - The Dewy Skin Cream

Moisturizer that piled up:(
Moisturizer that piled up:(
Boscia Cactus Water Moisturizer Function: To moisturize and instantly smooth, soften and supple skin. Target Concerns: Dryness, uneven texture, dullness Texture/Consistency: Gel-like consistency but it’s sticky and goo-like My overall experience: I got the mini size in a kit from TJ Maxx and was super excited because I had only tried one other product from this brand. It lasted me a while because I didn’t like using it😂 It piled up every time I used it and was sticky. Did I like it?: Sadly not, I really wanted to love it because cactus water sounds so good and it’s such cute packaging. It was just too sticky and didn’t soak into my skin no matter what:( Would I recommend it? No:( I’ve heard it did the same thing to others so I wouldn’t want to recommend this to others. Worth it? For 1.61 oz/47.59mL it’s $38. To me that’s pricy for a moisturizer that doesn’t do its job. It’s not worth your time and money. boscia - Cactus Water Moisturizer

Extra shot of Hydration?
Extra shot of Hydration?
DRUNK ELEPHANT - Protini Polypeptide Cream is a moisturizer advertised that it is packed with tons of protein and an “unprecedented array and concentration of signal peptides, growth factors, supportive amino acids and pygmy waterlily for visible and immediate improvement in the appearance of skin’s tone, texture and firmness.” This particular moisturizer works wonders on my oily/combo skin both in the winter and in the summer. The texture of this moisturizer feels like a hybrid of a water cream and gel. It is not too thick and it is not too thin at all. It’s personally my goldilocks moisturizer. This product claims to help with loss of firmness and elasticity as well as dryness, dullness and uneven texture. I vouch for all of these claims. I did notice my face to be plumper and more hydrated when I use this. I love using this moisturizer during the winter time with added layers of B-Hydra and other supplemental serums. Priced at $68 for 1.69 oz/50 ml it is definitely a bit pricier than what I usually go for so I wait for a sale to purchase this product. I love it a lot but I do use it sparingly when I am running out because of the price. It does work really well and I haven’t found a product similar to this that I like as much. I would definitely and have recommended this to my friends and family when their skin is needing that extra push. I give this product a 5/5.

let’s talk favorites
let’s talk favorites
Okay, so I couldn’t choose just one favorite product of the year - these two have absolutely saved my skin and I can’t get enough of either of them First, the FARMACY - Honey Savior All-in-One Skin Repair Salve is a super thick balm meant to target the driest skin ever. I use this on flaky skin, elbows, knees, hands, around my eyes - literally everywhere. This contains honey which is super soothing and royal jelly, which supports skin for a younger-looking appearance. Overall though it really just gives a killer boost of hydration. It’s $34 for 1.6 oz which can definitely be a lot, but this really packs the punch for hydration Next up is the SUMMER FRIDAYS - Jet Lag Mask which is a newer favorite. This product can be used as a wash off mask or it can be used as a thick moisturizer. I personally use it as a moisturizer rather than a mask. This target dryness and dullness, and when I use this my skin feels very hydrated and I definitely have a nice glow going on. It’s so thick so it doesn’t layer well with makeup, but I’ve found it’s good at topping off my skincare routine. This bad boy is $48 for 2.25 oz and it lasts foreverrrr, so I would say the price isn’t toooooo bad. Definitely there are cheaper options, but this has been such a great product for me I really recommend it

I recently picked up Glow Recipe’s newest launch, the GLOW RECIPE - Banana Soufflé Moisture Cream and have instantly fell in love with this product!! It has a light natural banana scent (bc it’s made with real bananas) and my skin has been loving the turmeric & cica blend that is also in this cream! It’s light yet hydrating, not too thick for me which I love! I’m able to use it during the day or at night, which I like to layer a sleeping mask of some kind on top of this to really seal in the moisture! For its price point, I think it’s quite expensive for a moisture cream, but the ingredients & actual results from using this product I personally think make this worth it!🍌✨

Skinfix moisturizer💙
Skinfix moisturizer💙
Function: To nourish and moisturize skin. Target Concerns: Dry skin, wrinkles, and fine lines. Texture/Consistency: Creamy texture & consistency My overall experience: I have used the old formula which actually my skin had a reaction to so i was hesitant to try it. So Skinfix sent this over to me to try out their new formula and my skin hasn’t had a reaction to it!! so i’m super happy about that! Do i like it? Yes i do. I love the creamy consistency and it soaks up nice on the skin. Would I recommend it? Maybe, idk i feel like there are better moisturizers out there. I like this one but would just prefer others. Worth it? For 1.7oz/50mL it’s $50 which is a little pricey but ya know what ever floats your boat😂 I wouldn’t personally go out and buy it myself but if you’re interested in trying it give it a go! skinfix - Barrier+ Triple Lipid-Peptide Cream
