Hey BB's! Welcome the newest addition to my skincare family. The Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser. With kiwi-strawberry seed blend & virgin marula oil, Kalahari melon, mongogo, & antioxidant-rich fruit extracts. It's a super gentle oil-to-milk cleanser that instantly transforms from oil to milk apon contact with water. This cleanser is safe enough to use around your eyes, and washes away makeup, oil, grime, & impurities without stripping your skin of its natural oils. Sound amazing?! That's because it is!! I love this cleanser so much that I decided to order a second one! But not for me! DE is one brand that everyone adores, and since I love my insta sisters & genuine followers so much, I'll be giving one of these away in my next giveaway!! 💚🐘

Took my makeup off but felt weird !!
DRUNK ELEPHANT - Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser I’m really liking these makeup melting products because i find they do get off all my makeup but this particular one worked but made my eyes feel weird and my skin super slimy. I tried not to get any in my eyes but every time I use it it’s hard to see for a little while after as if there is a film over my eyes 😬 I’ve tried others that don’t feel as slimy and gross... Going to throw out the little I have left cuz I can’t stand it anymore 😬 Also NOT fungal acne safe :( has 15 fungal acne triggers!! Yikes!

drunk elephant review with fungal acne🐘💗
as someone with fungal acne, buying the same products can be reaaallyyy boring. so this is my review of drunk elephant as someone with fungal acne!! * disclaimer, NONE of these products are fungal acne safe!! use at your own risk * DRUNK ELEPHANT - Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser this cleansing balm doesn’t really emulsify when you activate it with water, leaving a really oily feeling😕 and doesn’t remove all my makeup DRUNK ELEPHANT - Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser Deluxe Sample this is a really nice gentle foaming cleanser... and thats pretty much it. DRUNK ELEPHANT - B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum i love this serum! its a lovely gel serum that absorbs in quickly and is greak at oil control DRUNK ELEPHANT - C-Firma Vitamin C Day Serum this serum is a little tricky, i haven’t really noticed a difference in my skin in terms if brightness, i do have a bit of dark spots and they haven’t budged. not to mention this formulation is a rip off of the SKINCEUTICALS - C E Ferulic With 15% L-Ascorbic Acid Vitamin C Serum DRUNK ELEPHANT - Lala Retro Whipped Cream this is a thicc moisturizer that surprisingly doesn’t leave my oily skin looking greasy af. its a good moisturizer for dry combo skin! DRUNK ELEPHANT - Protini Polypeptide Cream this moisturizer feels exactly like the lala retro... its just 8 dollars more expensive DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial Mask this mask burns so bad the first 20 seconds but then it settles down. i really havent seen a difference in my skin so DRUNK ELEPHANT - Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil ive only used this oil a few times but wow it really makes your skin feel super soft and dewy DRUNK ELEPHANT - Lippe Balm DRUNK ELEPHANT - Lippe Balm i love this lip balm but its 16 dollars and the claim are completely false! in conclusion, i wont be repurchasing anymore of drunk elephant products because in reality they are just good products... nothing too special ESPECIALLY for the price. they aslo didn’t want to provide information about the percentage of black employees during the Pull Up Or Shut Up movement so yeah. their aesthetic is cute but ive grown out of this phase 😀 like and save!! xo melanie

My favorite makeup remover
My favorite makeup remover
My favorite way to remove makeup is with a cleansing balm. Out of the many that I’ve tried, the Drunk Elephant Slaai balm is the best. This product is so buttery, and a little bit of product goes a long way. I’ve had this jar since September, and it will probably last me through November. Granted, I only wear makeup 4-5 times a week, but I am still so impressed with the quality for the price of the product. I love cleansing balms for my dry skin. The DE slaai doesn’t strip the skin of moisture. It contains marula oil, so it’s actually nourishing your skin while it removes anything and everything from makeup to sunscreen. Since I wear mineral sunscreen, I also depend on this cleansing balm to remove all traces of sunscreen before I begin my nightly skincare routine. I highly recommend this product, it doesn’t contain micro plastics, it’s nourishing and it’s a very effective makeup remover, so I definitely think it’s worth the price tag.

My holy grail cleanser
My holy grail cleanser
My all time favorite cleaner is Slaai Makeup Melting Butter Cleanser by Drunk Elephant. It’s so versatile. You can use it to take off your makeup or on its own. I use it day and night, sometimes 3x a day on days I workout. At that rate I’d say I’ve had at least 100 uses out of this jar. I even keep the travel size in my purse. It’s great for oily skin, dry skin and combination. I love how moisturizing my skin feels after using it. It also removes my eye makeup with ease. No wipes or micellar water needed. It leaves tour skin feeling moisturized rather than tout. Plus, Slaai has no harmful ingredients and is PEG free. On days I wear makeup I follow it up with a jelly cleanser. On makeup-free days use it as a stand-alone cleanser. I’d definitely recommend this cleanser and give it 5 out of 5 ⭐️ stars.

I prefer a gel oil balm or bal
I prefer a gel oil balm or balm cleanser. Su-man Purifying Cleansing Gel-Oil was my first oil based cleanser ever. It became my gateway to all oil based cleansers. I fell in love with oil gel balms and later oils and traditional balms This cleanser has wintergreen, rosehip, Dragon’s Blood, sea water, sunflower & apricot oils. It’s got a thick gel texture that manages to feel light. It’s not heavy, sticky or oily. It will remove makeup because of the oils and rinses clean like a gel. It a perfect one step cleanse for night or morning cleanse. It never strips and leaves my skin soft and hydrated. I love the ingenious attached cap. Twist to dispense and you never loose it This product will always have a special place in my heart as the first oil based cleanser (that doesn’t feel like one) that made me realize I actually love oil based cleansers. If you try one product from Su-man, any kind of gel oil balm or are afraid of a straight oil cleanser. Try this one. It’s a great hybrid

Okay - let’s talk about this make up remover. One of my everyday products I use in my night routine is my Drunk Elephant Slaai’s Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser. * * * This product is marketed as an innovative cleansing balm that melts all traces of dirt, makeup, sunscreen and even water-resistant formulations from skin. In the name of the product, it clearly entails that it’s main purpose is a makeup remover, but also a cleanser. I love these kinds of two-in-one formulas because they make taking off your makeup WAY much easier. I mean seriously, I find my mascara slides right off my lashes. * * * I’ve used this product since the middle of April 2019. I decided to try this because I NEVER tried a formula like this, even though I saw them on the market since I’m a frequent online Sephora addict. I saw this on the new page and was looking at reviews. * * * I love this product, and I would recommend it to anyone. I do find the formula to be smooth, creamy, and effective enough to remove my makeup, and even my MASCARA. I find using this product, then following up with a face cleanser really gets everything off of my face. I know it does because when I go in with a toner and a cotton pad afterwards, there’s no residue leftover. * * * To me, I find the price of this, $34, to be well worth it. My first time I purchased it, it lasted me 6 months! Especially for using it basically every day, I find a little goes a long way with this baby.

Decent balm cleanser — good option for oily skin
Decent balm cleanser — good option for oily skin
This cleansing balm claims to take off all your makeup easily and it does! I do have a few minor complaints though. It is a drier oil and as someone with drier skin I prefer a more hydrating balm cleanser. It also can be a bit clumpy. Not to mention, it contains microplastics which are bad for the environment. As such, it’s not a repurchase for me but I can see why some people like it!

Not going to go on to much abo
Not going to go on to much about GoT, but there are a lot of disappointed people out there! This here is the drunkelephant Slaai Makeup Melting Butter Cleanser. I wanted a bit before I picked this up. It has had a mix of reviews, but I am generally a fan of balms. The texture is like butter. Softer than some of the other balms I have tried. Melts in your hands and applies smoothly. It takes off all my makeup and my very very waterproof mascara. It doesn’t quite emulsify as well as other balms and leaves a film. I don’t mind this as I will always go in for a good second cleanse. It comes with a little Bamboo booster I have used it once and it’s nice but not really necessary. This is my first week using it so will report again once I have given it longer, but so far it’s not a bad balm and I have enjoyed using it.
