OMG No ouai it’s And Ouai-t a minute - is that a nice Ouai product? Any-Ouai I make bad jokes I realise. I just wanted to show you some favourites I’m obsessing over. Like REALLY obsessing. I need back-ups of my back ups. That’s how good this stuff is. I’ll explain why. Ouai’s After Sun Body Soother is meant to be, yes you guessed it, for after sun. I can’t stop using it though! It fizzes and pops upon application, which makes me feel like an 8 year old with a packet of Fizz Wiz! It smells like sweet coconut and it hydrates beautifully. Contains aloe-infused bubbles, cucumber extract, and rose hip oil. I’ve been using this after my bath at bedtime and it feels lovely! I do need to stop using this now and save it for the summer as it also has a cooling effect, and I know I will be needing it on those sweltering days out! ⠀⠀⠀⠀ Then theres the gorgeous limited edition Goldie Rocks glowmotion by Sol De Janeiro. I’ve been using this on my arms and shoulders for shimmer and hydration but especially loving it as a highlighter on my face! It can even be used mixed in with foundation for a subtle dewy look! The scent is the same as Bum Bum and it contains Cupuaçu Butter, Açaí oil, and coconut oil. I really wish this wasn’t limited edition, it’s my favourite! This is my daytime hydration and shimmer, makes me feel like a queen! ⠀⠀⠀⠀ Last but not least, Ouai’s Hair Oil. My hair just LOVES this, absorbs without leaving my hair heavy and just makes it soft! The way I’ve been using this is a few drops in the ends of my hair, before wrapping a silk turban overnight. Absolute hair perfection the next day! Contains African galanga, argan, ama and Asian borage oils and has a gorgeous floral scent. My recovering bleached hair says thank you. ⠀⠀⠀⠀
These are some of my most used products right now (other than what’s in my usual skincare routine). I never really used to be good about wearing sunscreen, let alone sunscreen on my body on a typical summer day. But that was also from a lack of knowledge! I’ve become so much better at applying sunscreen everywhere everyday as well as reapplying throughout the day. The Coppertone glow sunscreen has been my favorite so far because it makes my skin shimmer a bit and it’s also no more than $10. The bottle is big compared to other body sunscreens I’ve tried, which run out faster and are more expensive 😬 The after sun body soother from Ouai has become pretty popular with my friends since I took it out of my bag one day 😂 I don’t usually burn and I do my best to prevent it, but I use this even just to cool down on hot days. I always reapply sunscreen after I put this on too.

Perfume Tour - A Fragrance for Every Mood
Perfume is hands down my favourite beauty category and has been forever! I remember falling in love with perfume as a child while sorting through my mom’s collection of beautiful, delicate bottles. One of my favourite things about perfume is that to me, it is the best memory. I will smell a certain perfume and be transported back to a specific moment in time and the feeling & emotions that can evoke...is priceless. When I was younger, I preferred the sugary sweet scents (like all the Britney Spears ones, Aqualina Pink Sugar, etc) but as I’ve gotten older I still prefer warm scents, but I love more spicy versions. Here’s a little tour of some of my favourites: YVES SAINT LAURENT - Black Opium Eau de Toilette - I know, I know - who doesn’t wear this one?! But it’s just so good. With notes of black coffee, white flowers, and vanilla, I find this one so warm & sexy - it’s perfect for a winter date night! GUERLAIN - Mon Eau de Toilette - key notes of lavender, bergamot, and vanilla. This one is incredible! It’s warm & sweet but not quite as heavy as Black Opium. It smells fancy, expensive, and classy. To me it would be perfect to wear on your wedding day! Maison Margiela - ’REPLICA’ Beach Walk - key notes of bergamot, heliotrope, and coconut milk. This is perfect for the summer, it’s warm but still has a light freshness. The only downfall is it doesn’t last long! CAUDALIE - Soleil des Vignes - this is like Beach Walk but a bit heavier and more of a sunscreen smell (which I LOVE) but lasts longer. I wore this a ton in the summer! Maison Margiela - 'REPLICA' Coffee Break Eau de Toilette - key notes are coffee accord, milk mousse, and lavender. This one is so unique! It smells warm and clean and...comforting? If that makes sense! Maison Margiela - REPLICA Whispers In The Library - key notes are pepper essence, tonka bean, and cedar wood. This is perfect for chilly Fall/Winter nights! It’s way too heavy to wear in warm weather IMO. It’s feminine and masculine at the same time (it’s marketed as a unisex fragrance) and lasts forever on the skin. gisou - Honey Infused Hair Perfume - I think everyone knows and loves this scent! It smells like warm honey with a bit of a white floral added in. This one can at times give me a bit of a headache, but if I use it lightly I do enjoy it. So can you tell that I have a theme?! I love warm & spicy scents and some of my favourite notes in perfume are bergamot, vanilla, patchouli, coconut, coffee, and lavender. I also clearly have a Replica fragrance obsession🙈 A few fragrances that I’m hoping to add to my collection are: - Guerlain Coconut Fizz - Replica By the Fireside - YSL Black Opium (repurchase) - Guerlain Mon Guerlain (repurchase) - Narciso Rodriguez NARCISO - Carolina Herrera Good Girl #CheriePartner
GOURMANDE 🍨 FRAGRANCE CAPSULE
Here’s a list of my favourite gourmande perfumes of all time! They’re pretty affordable, designer, very wearable. What are your favorite perfumes? I love discovering new ones! Paco Rabanne - Olympéa [FiveStars] A cheerful, more fruity gourmande. On the bright side but not exactly “young”. The base is still salty vanilla cashmere but layered with crisp apple. It’s the freshest and most laid-back gourmande scent I own. Can be worn every day. Not like any other Paco Rabanne you’ve ever smelled. Jean Paul Gaultier - La Belle [FiveStars] Sticky gourmande 101 - very straight forward notes of sweet vanilla, apricot and honey. You smell like an actual appricot cake. Uncomplicated, relaxed greatness. Elie Saab - Girl of Now [FiveStars] Hybrid base notes of almond cream and tonca bean with top layers of pear and pistacchio. The pistacchio in this is so energizing. It brings a new vibe to the whole category imho. Very interesting scent that remind me of summer afternoons in the city. YVES SAINT LAURENT - Black Opium Eau de Parfum My first love! This is a fragrance with bold projection. Deep and spicy, it hits you from the open with coffee and vanilla and dries down a little more white floral. Massively sexy and borders on Oriental for sure. Perfect for late winter or a night out. GUERLAIN - Mon Eau de Parfum A thin gourmande. Still sweet but with an Iris and Lavender vibe to it. I would call this your every-day gourmande. A very likeable skin scent that smells like sweet vanilla and lavender. Jean Paul GAULTIER - Scandal for Women Eau de Parfum Ouff! this one is a deep, complexe and sensual scent. Projection that will grab attention so I would be mindful of when/where you wear it. Smells like honey layered over orange blossom and spiked with green floral/jasmin. There’s definitely a powder to it but its not at all obnoxious. I’m completely addicted to it. Perfect for when you’re generally up to no good 😏... DOLCE&GABBANA - The Only One Eau de Parfum A sophisticated and tidy gourmande you can wear any time. The base notes are coffee/chocolate and I want to say orange blossom. Definitely some floral in here but it is crisp. A super put-together and calculated fragrance. BOSS - The Scent Private Accord for Her Eau de Parfum Speaking of chocolate and orange.. This is very bright and captivating. Has a fresh/clean character to it but also smells like a delicious choco-orange treat. It’s sweet without being “sticky”. Wear any time, anywhere - she’s not fussy. gisou - Honey Infused Hair Perfume I love the smell of honey in the shower and in my hair and this is 100% that honey smell. It’s as if LUSH’s “It’s Raining Men” had an older, cooler sister we never knew about. Smells like honey royalty.

🎀(mostly) HAIR-CARE haul from Ulta💦
📦Got my recent order from Ulta today. I love that they have Afterpay as a payment option! I’m still trying to help get my bfs dry hair under control, so we’ve been trying a lot of new hair products... REDKEN - All Soft Heavy Cream Super Treatment $22/8.5 oz 🔐🧡This is an old favorite of mine that I’ve returned to time & time again, even when I was a broke raggedy at-home bleach blonde. Smells really good, very infectious, I’ve always received a lot of compliments. It’s an expensive salon type scent, but richer & deeper. In the warm Amber & Vanilla family. The formula is meant to be used after rinsing shampoo, for 5-15 minutes. It says to apply to towel dried hair, but I’ve honestly never done that, just tried to make sure my hair wasn’t full of water... You can totally use it for longer though. 🪴The formula contains repairing hydrolyzed plant-based proteins & nourishing Argan oil. I can’t wait to get back into this stuff, after trying so many different things for my bf’s hair, I remembered this treatment I used to buy constantly. I really hope it works for him too. Full ingredients of every product in the slides. OUAI - Super Dry Shampoo$14/2 oz (size shown here) OR $24/4.5 oz Though both of our hair types are on the dry side our current climate (mountains, snow) I haven’t had a dry shampoo on hand in a while & sometimes roots need a little sprucing up before we go into town. I’ve heard good things about this one! I can already tell it smells expensive! Nature Lab. - Perfect Volume Texture Mist$12/4 oz I actually bought this for my bf, but I’ll definitely try it too😚i wanted him to try it after I read@LindseyRR‘s review!💕the bottle is so cute & it’s a great price. Has a lovely delicate floral/fruity fragrance. HONEST - Lip Crayon Sheer Lush$13/.105 oz Shade: Sheer Blossom 🌸 🖍I hadn’t tried an Honest Beauty product in at least a couple years... I’m a huge Jessica Alba fan, but admit I haven’t really been that intrigued by her beauty line. I wanted to get a little pick me up & this seemed cute. Have you guys tried any of these? What was your experience? I’ll be posting full reviews on everything here 🔜 💋nay #CherieCreator 🍒
The Ouai for Curly Hair
I've been testing out a few Ouai products they sent me a while ago for my curls to see how they do. So far I'm liking the Leave-in Conditioner for refreshing my hair and the Finishing Creme for styling! They smell AMAZING! I'm not a big dry shampoo girl since my scalp is dry rather then oily, so curly girls tell me how you use dry shampoo for your hair. Have you guys tried Ouai products before? What are your faves? I think I want to they their new treatments masks next. Products: * OUAI - Finishing Creme * OUAI - Super Dry Shampoo * OUAI - OUAI Leave-In Conditioner *OUAI - Rose Hair & Body Oil * OUAI - OUAI Hair Oil

The Good and not so good Necessaire
To save your coins from the Necessaire brand their body scrub and body wash are great especially to keep your skin buttery soft. The rest left much to be desired. I felt the body lotion and serum for the price points didn’t leave impact to the skin. I tried them in a variety of combos but both left me dry and ashy 😔.
Body + Lip Products for the Winter
Since it’s been getting colder, my skin has been craving a lot more moisture. Here’s what I’ve been trying recently, with my honest reviews. I am unemployed because of COVID, so price is something I’m very conscious of. I’m only repeat-buying products that work and are worth the price! JOSIE MARAN - Whipped Argan Oil Body Butter Vanilla Apricot This is my must-have in the winter for dry skin. It’s extremely hydrating, a little goes a long way, the pot lasts forever, and it’s one of my all time favorite scents. I received this as a gift last year but liked it so much that I’ve continued to buy it ever since! Josie Maran is expensive, so I might recommend adding this product to a Christmas wish list for the first try if you’re curious and on a budget. philosophy - Fresh Cream Body Lotion I love this for every day use. The scent is very warm, which I love for winter, and lingers for most of the day but isn’t overpowering! Not cheap but affordable, and it hits all the marks for a great lotion. Nécessaire - The Body Lotion A new purchase which I bought because of the vitamins it contains, and, honestly, all the hype surrounding it. It’s unscented, the consistency is GREAT, and it absorbs well. But although it’s around the same price as philosophy lotions, the fact that it’s unscented makes me want to reach for tried-and-true, cheaper lotions from brands like CeraVe. The ingredients so far have not caused any noticeable changes in my skin so I probably won’t buy this for myself again even though I love how smoothly it goes on. BURT’S BEES - Almond & Milk Hand Cream A great drugstore buy that WORKS. It’s slightly more heavy duty than my other hand creams and melts into the skin well. Plus I love the scent, it reminds me of marzipan/almond paste. fresh - Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Treatment First of all, this chapstick is super expensive. I’m so scared of losing it that it never leaves my house. But with that being said, it really is an amazing chapstick. If I use this once in the morning and once at night, I don’t really need to think about my lips for the rest of the day. Awake - Lip Therapy Lip Mask I received this as a sample and it’s....it’s really good, okay. This is the product that got me into lip masks. It works and it smells great. Even after trying other brands, this one’s still my favorite. And it’s a couple dollars cheaper than other lip masks on the market!

OUAI-After Sun Body Soother
I have bought many things from Lush now, and honestly I am hooked. There are many things that have worked for me and a few that haven’t. I enjoy using natural products, and brands that work towards a better Earth. I started buying Lush body wash starting about 3 years ago due to some pH imbalances in my skin. My skin was getting really itchy and dry, and my body odour had changed (partially from aging, and using products that weren’t right for me). Rose Jam Shower Gel - my tried and true! This body wash left my skin squeaky clean without drying my skin out. It makes my skin smelling like sweet strawberry/rose jam throughout the day, and is not over powering at all. I always buy it by the litre, and it lasts me the year - so worth the money! I have bought some new products during the quarantine since I am running low (FYI - Lush is running low on sizing and product). Stay tuned for more Lush reviews, I can’t wait to try these products out!
Diptyque Paris Satin Oil which I have been loving in my hair. This oil is for the body & hair but since it’s very fragranced I like to only use it either in my hair alone or on my body alone so that it’s not overpowering. It smells of jasmine and ylang ylang with hints of honey-amber and saffron. The oil absorbs quickly into your skin and hair which I love in an oil! On top of that – it’s GORGEOUS ✨💫

Stop being hairy - At Home Laser Removal
PHILIPS - Bikini Perfect Deluxe Trimmer Summer is coming soon, and getting rid of excessive body hair should become one of the I am literally the hairiest person. Positive side, I do get these eyebrows and eyelashes that other girls are jealous about, same time I am very hairy on my arms legs as well as facial hair. I have been doing a lot of these methods honestly for years. And here are my most favorite methods. I’ve tried wax and chemical hair removers where you can get at drugstores. I do not like either of them. My skin is sensitive, and I do found wax hurt A LOT. It takes the hair off including follicle which slows down the process of grow of new hair which is good, the process is just so painful. Chemical hair removers are easy to use and fast but you can only use it on arms and legs or under arms and not friendly to sensitive skins as well. Finally I found out shavers and laser are two best ways works for me. Manually shaving the hair is I guess most people would do at home, it’s fast and easy. And I want to tell more about lasers. This is my favorite method of hair removal. If you do not want to repeat shave yourself constantly, laser is would be your best option. Although it is not permanent, some hair would probably grow back, but is it the best method for permanent hair reduction. And personally, it is permanent for me, at my underarms and legs. I got this trimmer for bikini lines specifically, it’s working well comparing to my Gillette. Safe and easy to use. You can get rid of facial and body hair in Salons. It is expensive and time consuming for me, and I found out this Philips Lumea Precision Plus. Philips Lumea Precision Plus - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I've enjoyed using the machine, it's usage and also practicality! First thing I love about this machine is that it is very practical – lightweight cordless and easy to use. It uses IPL solution that delivers 140,000 flashesand works wonders to prevent the reappearance. There are 5 levels from mild to strong, and 2 customized lamps for facial, body and bikini lines. 4 years ago I use it for my under arms, shave it first and then use this machine. I did it for 4 times, after the first week, the first two weeks and the first month. And only 10% of the hair grow back in the following year and I repeat the same frequency. And I almost get 98% of the hair of permanently at my underarm. Another thing great about this machine is wearability. I got this machine for 4 years and it is still in good condition. It’s not dirty or cracked and turns on and charges perfectly like brand new. I paid around $500 dollars and I think it worths the price. I also use it on my face which I found the result is not as good as my under arms but it’s gentle and safe and I’ll keep using it. Five-star product.
PHILIPS-Bikini Perfect Deluxe Trimmer
Nivea surprises me a lot with their products and as I've enjoyed them so far these two are a small disappointment. Nivea Fresh Revive Blonde Dry Shampoo The first product has probably the most creative design I've ever seen and I was expecting a lot from it because it contains Rice Starch which I've never seen before in a dry shampoo. Nivea did a thing that you can get different shampoo colour for different hair colour, my hair is more on a blonde side. And yes, it helps my roots to be less visible - it makes them pale, maybe it's not ideal blonde but for sure my roots are lighter and you can't really see that I use dry shampoo but my scalp doesn't like it, I could scratch my scalp all the time when I use it. The smell isn't bad but that's not enough for me and I feel disappointed with what I can feel on my scalp. Nivea Oil in Lotion Orange Blossom & Avocado Oil This one smells so good and I'm aware that lots of people choose this Oil in Lotion body moisturizer. I can't deny, it absorbs quickly but because it contains alcohol it makes my skin dry as well. It's an ideal summer moisturizer but not for a person with dry skin, just stick to mix it creams from Nivea or a classic cream if you've got a dry skin.
TikTok Beauty Hack: Making Your Perfume Last
I find myself going through perfume fairly quickly because I always douse myself in it to try to get it to last longer. I came across this hack on TikTok that was super simple and decided to give it a try for the sake of my perfume inventory. To do it, all you need is your favorite fragrance and Vaseline or aquaphor. Before spraying your perfume, apply the Vaseline/aquaphor to the spots where you usually apply your perfume. Then spray, and voila! This was definitely easy to execute and I loved that it was simple, but I can’t say that it extended my perfume’s scent life. Def dont recommend. Dermotologist Advice You Don't Want To MissA roundup of the best tips from cherie's derm panel with Dr. Mina and Dr. Cula.Jan. 21
My Mental Wellness Improved Through My Self AcceptanceWhen I was around 13 or 14 years old, I remember routinely taking one of my older sister’s black eyeliner pencils before school every morning. I’d arrive early so that I could slip away to the girl’s bathroom to apply a single black line to my eyelids. My parents didn’t allow me to wear any makeup at the time. Although this smudgy line on my eyelids didn’t make me look all that much different, I never felt comfortable at school without it. My teenage mind convinced myself that I needed some sort of cosmetic symbol in order to appropriately express my femininity. Up until that point in my life, society had told girls that looked like me - tall, Black, and with kinky hair - that we somehow weren’t as beautiful as the other girls. For far too long, I believed it too.Feb. 17
