Some things I’ve found myself reaching for a lot lately! I’ve been reaching for a lot of hydrating products and brightening products to maintain that glowy skin. I like to use the FUR OIL in my weekly baths and regularly after showering and using the silk scrub. I also use BIO-OIL on my body and sometimes in the bath as a massage oil if I have any tension. I’ve been rotating the Omorovicza silver skin saviour mask and their deep cleansing mask – two of my favorites right now. Sometimes I’ll substitute the deep cleansing mask for the Asarai Australian red clay mask (detoxing and brightening). None of these masks dry out my skin and I actually have seen immediate glowing results from the Asarai mask! On my lips every night is the HG Laneige lip sleeping mask. I’ve used this for years with zero disappointments! It’s especially nice after doing a little lip scrub from Apa Beauty with their lip loofah 🙌🏼 During the day I’ve been testing the 107oneoseven cream essence which gives the perfect amount of hydration during the day (maybe not for dry skin) and also includes brightening ingredients. I usually layer this with an SPF moisturizer for sun protection. At night I use the Embryolisse Usa hydra-masque as an overnight mask. Lastly, AMIKA never EVER lets me down and always gives me the best hair days. Their reset line has done wonders on my scalp and I’ll continue to use it into winter because that’s when my scalp tends to get itchy and dry.

The days have been getting warmer and I can do a shorter routine, especially in the mornings. This was my amroutine today: indielee Rosehip cleanser - enjoy this so much, I massage my face a little longer than necessary just to feel it longer. belif the true tincture of chamomile - this has a sharp herbal, almost medicinal scent. It's quite hydrating but not very thick so works great for layering. lumiderma antioxidant C serum - I like to have vitamin C in my routine almost always and this one is very gentle. oneoseven coreflex cream essence - this super quick absorbing, but plumping serum is perfect for the mornings. belif moisture bomb - this is almost becoming too moisturizing as the weather warms up. Better use it up fast!
oneoseven Coreflex Cream Essence for a couple months This is such a unique product in that it feels luxurious and creamy, but it absorbs lightning fast. I think the amazing absorption may be partly due to the naturally fermented vinegar that this product is based on. It also has some instant firming effects that I haven't found in any other product.

Omorovicza - Worth The Price?!
Omorovicza is a Hungarian thermal spa skincare brand and thermal water is an important ingredient. These are all their star products that I've tried in the Omorovicza Starter Kit.Omorovicza - Discovery Kit I have combination-type sensitive skin. My U-zone and cheeks area are dry but my T-zone is oily. There are some red spots left on my face from my allergies and I occasionally have acne issues. Omorovicza - Cleansing Foam: It does clean well and my face does not feel filmy after using it. My skin feels much smoother, and it also exfoliates a little. Omorovicza - Queen of Hungary Mist: It's great for dry skin. It's hydrating but also a little sticky. After spraying many layers of it on my face, I feel that I don't even need to use facial cream after using this. Omorovicza - Illuminating MoisturiserIt's a creamy, non-gel-like texture that's not thick and heavy and can be easily absorbed. It really brightened my complexion and does not ball up. It also has an anti-aging effect. I felt the appearance of my pores minimizing after a few days. It also has a long-lasting moisturizing effect. Omorovicza - Thermal Cleansing Balm: It's nice to use but I prefer Eve Lom because this one leaves my face feeling filmy after I wash it off. Omorovicza - Deep Cleansing Mask It's gentle and effective. I usually apply this mask, steam it with hot vapour in the shower, and then wash it after it dries out. It helps to get rid of acne. You can see the effect after using it for just the first time. This set is really worth buying, but it's not suitable for oily skin.
Omorovicza - Deep Cleansing Mask This mask detoxifies the skin and leaves it radiant and smooth. It is gentle, doesn’t dry out my skin, love the cooling sensation on face. The main ingredients are: * Hungarian moor mud which is rich in minerals and nutrients. Calcium and magnesium deeply cleanse and nourish the skin. * White clay helps with decongestion * Hungarian thermal water which keeps skin soft, hydrated This is a nice mask for those who wants to clear their acne and blemishes. You might get one or two tiny spots the other day as this mask draws out all impurities to the surface. It, however, didn’t break me out. Overall, I liked the mask. Its pricey though, $120 for 1.7 oz. After the mask, I follow up with the Omorovicza - Queen of Hungary Mist mist to refresh and hydrate my skin.

Asarai- first impression!
ASARAI - Earth Tones Face Mask Asarai Earth Tones Australian Red Clay Mask is a rich, buttery wash-off mask that contains Australian Red Clay from the Outback. The clay mask is creamy smooth and glides across the skin very easily without dragging. The red clay is so finely-milled, I did not detect any grainy texture between my fingers. It was really easy to get a thin and even layer with just a small dollop of product. I applied it with my fingers, a mask brush is optional. A little goes a long way. I did not experience any harsh tightening effect nor sensitivities after 10 mins. Granted, I did mist twice during the wait time to prevent it from drying out my skin. I do this with all clay masks. Upon contact with water, the mask started emulsifying. I was able to rinse the mask off really quickly and easily without the aid of my handy dandy silicone cleansing pad. My skin felt clean yet deeply hydrated. There was no dryness nor tightening sensation within 10 mins after toweling off. This was a record since I’m used to an immediate shriveling effect after cleansing. My skin also felt supple, smooth, and soft. Pores were looking cleaner and smaller. This is my first impression review! I must say that ASARAI - Earth Tones Face Mask did make a great first impression. I am definitely going to use this atleast twice per week. I am astonished by the results from just my first use. Love this mask❣️
THIS MASK HELPED MY ACNE THE MOST 💖
As someone with combination skin, I have acne-prone skin. As soon as my breakouts start to fade, a few new ones appear on my face. To be honest, these breakouts tend to get worse when I’m stressed or eating crap food but this mask 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 literally saved my skin. This is my second tube of the mask- and trust me a little goes a long way (my previous one lasted me a year)! ASARAI - Earth Tones Face Mask $35, 50ml INGREDIENTS: Australian Red Clay Australian White Kaolin Clay Kakadu Plum Rainforest Line Fruit Extract Sunflower Seed Oil Aloe Vera Juice WHAT IT DOES: This mask basically helps to detoxify impurities, unclog pores and help with inflammation of the skin (which a breakout counts as)! WHY I LOVE IT: This helped clear up my skin so much. I use it 2-3x a week and it’s not too drying or harsh on the skin. I have tried so many different “acne-banishing” masks that have made no or just temporary difference to my skin and this one actually did something. It’s gentle and effective. What else could I ask for? Have you tried this mask before?

fur full-sized Fur Oil You can basically use it anywhere you have both skin and hair. It’s one of those products you probably think you don’t need up until you’ve tried it. I’ve been using this for weeks and it does exactly what it promises to do. It’s made with an all-natural formula which helps reduce inflammation, prevents ingrown, all while softening your hair and skin. It contains a mixture of nine anti-microbial 100% natural oils that are dry touch, filled with vitamins A and E that nurture your hair. I apply this down there, my happy trail, on my stubble, my brows — and they have never been softer. It’s such a good product to have on your stash and the beautiful bottle makes it even better.
I've been enjoying this little Fur Oil mini... It's meant to be used anywhere, but I actually really like it as a scalp oil. It soothes any scalp irritation I have but doesn't make my hair greasy. I just drip it straight from the dropper onto any irritated areas and then rub it in.

Show your lips a little L-O-V-E!
I don’t think caring for your lips gets the hype it deserves. For me, I didn’t really think about my lips too much until I burned them really badly back in 2015 while on vacation. I began reading up on sun damage for lips, and what signs of aging for lips looked like, I started a more conscientious routine. WHAT HAPPENS TO OUR LIPS AS WE AGE? Like the rest of your skin, as we age, our lips lose their plump youthful look. However, the skin on your lips is actually much thinner than the rest of your face (by about half as many layers - that’s why they appear pink!). Here are a few signs of lip aging, that while inevitable, can definitely be slowed with proper care: Dry lips: we tend to lose the ability to create natural moisture for lips as we age. So they will appear drier and drier as we get older. Thinner lips: this one sucks big time. But as we get older the depletion of collagen makes your upper lip thin out (and flatten). Another unfortunate factor if you’ve already got thin lips to begin with, you’ll begin to notice a difference a little earlier than those with bigger lips. Sun Damage: applying sunscreen to your lips is not really something most people think about as frequently as the rest of your face or body. But its SO important to keeping your lips youthful in appearance. Photo aging on lips makes them darker, and also blurs the line between your lips and surrounding skin. Think of it like little bits of patch work blending both skin colours. Wrinkles and Fine Lines: Sometimes referred to as “smokers’ lines” these are the sharp lines that can be seen when you pucker your lips. Even if you’ve never smoked, these begin to make an appearance in your late 20s/early 30s. This is a result of dehydration, sun damage, and puckering your lips (for me, drinking with straws 😂). HOW TO PREVENT LIP DAMAGE? SPF lip products. Always. I rotate what I use, but since I spend a lot of time outside running I like to use something more affordable due to how fast I go through it. sun bum - Original SPF 30 Sunscreen Lip Balm Key Lime is my fav right now. It smells awesome and I find it very hydrating. Also it’s like $3-4, so I stock up in the summer months and carry it with me everywhere. Moisturize: This doesn’t mean only products, it also means drink more water! I’m a culprit for over doing the caffeine, but I find when I skip the water, my lips are a pretty good indicator. Aside from this I use LANEIGE - Lip Sleeping Mask not only at night, but when I’m just sitting around the house and need a little extra hydration. BURT’S BEES - Strawberry Lip Balm and fresh - Sugar Orchid Tinted Lip Treatment also in the rotation! Exfoliate: like the rest of your skin, clearing dry/dead skin cells works wonders to make them appear more plump! I use a DIY scrub, post here: https://t.cherie.com/J1VBSo1/ Happy lip loving✌🏼
Easy-peasy routine for lazy days😜
Recently I have been staying at home for weeks and barely going outside. And my face has become really sensitive since I went back to my hometown because of dryness, so I tried a lot of products to fix my face. However, sometimes using more products doesn’t mean better results, and here is my routine when I feel it necessary to give my skin a rest during the day. My skin type is dry skin, and there are some small red rash around my jaw line. After I wake up and wash my face with only water, I will do some morning exercise, so I don’t want to have too much products on my face. First of all, I will start with a fresh toner. I found aKiehl's - Calendula Herbal Extract Alcohol Free Toner, which used to be one of my favorites when I was in college. This is an alcohol-free toner that is also suitable for sensitive skin. It is lightweight liquid, perfect to prep skin for serums or moisturizers after. My next step would usually be serum and then moisturizer, but in this simplified routine I will use theLA MER - The Renewal Oil. It formulated with Miracle Broth and sea-sourced nutrients that will be released after shaking. I will use half pump in my palms and warm it before applying, and gently massage into my face. It can be absorbed easily and leave an allover glow, hydrating and soothing my skin. The last step is for my lips, theLANEIGE - Lip Sleeping Mask . Enriched with vitamin C, it forms a protective film over the lips to lock in moisture. I always reach out to it no matter I stay at home or before makeup, and one bottle ca be used for almost a year. This routine is really easy and takes care of both skin and lips, and the oil can even be used on body and hair. I recommend to simplify routine in the morning especially you don’t need to go outside and give your skin enough rest.

My current skincare routine consists of CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skin, then up&up - Deep Cleaning Pore Treatment at night, then Bio-Oil - Multiuse Skincare Oil, and finishing it off at CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion Lightweight. I want to add The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%into my routine but I'm not sure where it fits in or how to apply the product. I am new to serums like that. Any recommendations? All and any input is wanted!! Thank you.
Hello all, well my names Simone I’m 18 and I want to have healthier, smoother looking skin. I have very sensitive skin that is dry around my nose & chin and oily on my forehead. Just recently I noticed I’m getting discoloring on my chin and I’ve had it above my lip for as long as I can remember. I’m pretty active I work and love the outdoors and I live in Arizona so majority of the time it’s hot and sunny. I’ve always struggled with acne and suffer badly with hormonal acne while on my period. Idk if it’s something I’m using that reacts badly to my skin or is it just tough luck? Suggestions?:) I’ll leave the products I use. innisfree - Green Tea Seed Intensive Hydrating CreamSOAP & GLORY - Face Soap And Clarity Facial WashBio-Oil - Multiuse Skincare Oil

Amika reset exfoliating jelly shampoo
@amika reset exfoliating jelly shampoo ($25) has become a holy grail product for me. This product is going to help deep clean your scalp, rebalance while also soothing your scalp. If you have an oily, itchy scalp or use a lot of product in you hair it’s so important to use a scalp scrub once a week to remove all of that excess oil and dirt. - - Key ingredients: sea salt contains minerals and trace elements such as magnesium and calcium. Salicylic acid to exfoliate the scalp. Pink clay and charcoal to help absorb dirt, odors, minerals, toxins and more that can collect on our hair and skin through air pollution or hard water plus to remove unpleasant odors while exfoliating dead skin cells. - - This product is great for all hair types but not color safe because of the sea salt. This product is free of sulfates, parabens, phthalates, gluten, mineral oil, petrolatum and artificial colors. Also vegan and cruelty free.amika: - Reset Exfoliating Jelly Shampoo
FIRST IMPRESSION ON SOME AMIKA PRODUCTS
Today I wanted to share a little first impressions on the repair shampoo and conditioner and the reset exfoliating jelly shampoo from @amika A little background on my hair: I have very oily hair and I usually have to wash my hair every other day even if I use dry shampoo. Before quarantine I would use heat on my hair at least 5 times a week so my hair is pretty damaged. I have always used shampoo and conditioner from Walmart or target never thought there was a reason to buy more expensive hair products. Which now I can see the difference after using these products. - - - Reset exfoliating jelly shampoo ($25): so far I really like this product. I have never used a scalp scrub ever so this was new to me. Because my hair is so oily I thought using this would help get all the dirt and build up out of my hair which it did. I would use once a week or every two weeks. - - - Repair shampoo and conditioner (full size $22): so far I really like them. The shampoo lathered really well and my hair felt very clean. The conditioner was nice and left my hair really soft. - - - Overall I really liked these products. I love the packaging and they have the typical amika scent which I love and need it in a candle. I used these products on Thursday and my hair didn’t get oily until Sunday which is crazy to me sense I usually have to wash my hair every other day.

One Brand Gorgeous Hair
What can I say, Amika has stolen my heart. Not only is their packaging absolutely gorgeous and adorable, but their products keep my long hair super soft and luxurious. These are my staple products I use on a daily and weekly basis! amika: - Velveteen Dream Smoothing Shampoo amika: - velveteen dream smoothing conditioner This shampoo and conditioner set is absolutely amazing, I have course hair that often times gets frizzy but this keeps my hair smooth and manageable and helps a lot with the tangled my hair gets!! Styling after is so easy! amika: - Reset Pink Charcoal Scalp Cleansing Oil Okay this product intrigued me so much that I just had to get it. It’s an oil that your apple at your roots and the parts of your scalp that get the most oily, for me it’s the crown area. You massage it in your dry hair and then hop in the shower and follow up with shampoo and conditioner! It’s really refreshing and leaves my hair so clean! amika: - Perk Up Dry Shampoo My favorite dry shampoo ever! This stuff soaks up excess oil while also give my roots some body and volume! I use it after styling and on the days after to bring life back to my hair. No gritty feeling!
💕 Double Cleanse your Scalp.
Amika giftedme this adorable set which includes 3 new products from their Reset line: a Cleansing Oil, Shampoo, and Conditioner. The Cleansing Oil is meant to act as a 1st cleanse for your scalp and what a genius idea this is! I mean, we all double cleanse our face (well, I hope anyway 🤭) so, why not do the same for your hair, right? I love the applicator nozzle on this. It helps to apply the product directly onto my dry scalp before I hop into the shower. After I massage and rinse the oil out, I follow up with the Shampoo which has, such a fun gel texture! This product cleanses my hair really well but without feeling stripped. And lastly, I go in with the Cooling Gel Conditioner. This also has a fun, bouncy, mousse texture and I love how cool, refreshing, and hydrating it leaves my hair feeling. I know they are not recommended for color treated hair. But, have you tried this set yet? What's your favorite product you've tried from @amika so far? Oh and happy almost Valentine's day, my loves!! Life has been extremely hectic & exhausting 😪 in our household because we started our renovations process earlier this week 🤪 but, hubsters said he made dinner reservations for Friday so, I'm really, really looking forward to that! 💕
fur keeps creating these amazing products (like their signature Fur Oil) that I didn’t realize I needed, but once I try, I can’t live without. Fur’s Silk Scrub is a gentle, exfoliating treatment that can be used as a scrub or left on as a mask. It buffs away dead skin cells and leaves your skin feeling unbelievably soft and smooth. The thing that I love about Silk Scrub is that I don’t have to choose between shaving and exfoliating anymore. It’s so gentle that I can use it post-shaving with no irritation at all. If you’re already using Fur’s oil, Silk Scrub is the perfect companion. Bonus points because it also smells amazing. It’s worth mentioning that I do have to give the bottle a good squeeze to get the product out, but I’d prefer that to watching my precious Silk Scrub going down the actual drain because I over-squeezed. Fur packed all kinds of goodness into this perfectly minimalistic package: Jojoba beads, a natural exfoliator to unclog follicles & prevent ingrown hairs. Papaya & pineapple enzymes to make pores appear smaller & fight inflammation. Glycolic & lactic acids to brighten. Clary sage oil to reduce irritation & redness. Silk Scrub is also dermatologically & gynecologically tested. (Safe for use anywhere, ladies & gents). I’ll definitely repurchase this, as it’s become a staple in my shower. Retails for $48, but worth every penny IMO.
my love for all things bougie: the Fur silk scrub, an exfoliating treatment that works both as a quick scrub and as a mask. Since it has both papaya and pineapple enzymes, as well as glycolic and lactic acids, it's actually a chemical exfoliant in addition to being a physical one, but is gentle enough not to overdo it. It also uses jojoba beads instead of plastic microbeads to buff away dead skin, making it eco-friendly, and clary sage oil to soothe irritation. Basically, it does a whole lot while still being gentle enough to use post shaving/waxing... everywhere. Which, ya know, is important in preventing unpleasant things like ingrown hairs and whatnot. I've used it post-shave, followed with the fur oil after and it's definitely helped to decrease irritation/redness. It's TBD as a mask, but given how much I like it, I expect good things. At $48 for 6 OZ/180 ML, it's definitely on the pricey side, but given that you only need a little at a time (unlike a lot of scrubs where it seems like you go through half a jar per use) it should last a good while, and personally anything that makes shaving less terrible is worth it IMO.
Laneige lip sleeping mask and water sleeping mask! Not tampered with - in perfect, gorgeous, pristine condition. I scooped them up without a second thought. I’ve tried the lip mask before and it is an all time fave. I’m excited to try the water mask - the texture is soft and almost silky! 💗💙💗💙💗 ⭐️The lip mask was $12.99 & the water mask was $16.99
LANEIGE-Lip Sleeping Mask
Laneige Water Sleeping Mask
I’ve realized that i do not go for this mask enough but when i do it’s the best feeling ever. My skin is somewhat sensitive to acids so if I go for a higher acid percentage, my skin burns like crazy. Anytime that happens, I quickly apply this mask on top of the acid layers and after about 2 minutes, my skin calms down. The next morning I wake up with a soft skin. Even though it’s good amount of product for the price, I don’t really end up going for it more. I go for the summer friday’s jet lag a lot more especially during day time too. ⭐️Olaplex Hair Perfector I put this on once a week before bed and over time it has made my hair healthier looking ⭐️DrBrandt Recovery Sleeping Mask This is my favorite overnight mask right now. It is so hydrating and I love how my skin feels in the morning. ⭐️lush Sleepy Body Lotion This has the most amazing lavender scent and I swear it helps me sleep better 😴😴😴. Even if it’s the placebo effect it doesn’t matter because it makes my skin super soft and smells so good!!

Pacifica is the Only one for Sheet Masks
If I had to pick one brand for sheet masks, Pacifica would be it. This mattify prep is one of my favorites, but I love the supergreen detox and disobey time masks as well. This particular one helps hydrate the skin but keep it from getting too oily. I discovered these 2 years ago, on a quest for 100% cotton and environmentally friendly masks that didn't cost over $5 a pop. I ended up getting their set of 5 different masks and now these are the only sheet masks I enjoy. I find that sheet masks are a great way to add hydration and serums into the skin and these just do it so well and all cost under $5! My skin tingles once I'm done, feeling plump and bouncy. Perfectly hydrating. I especially love these before moisturizing as a way to prep for a good makeup base as well. Don't waste your money on gimmicky brands, just go for Pacifica.
