Lightweight Hydrating Moisturizer
If you’re looking to change up your moisturizer to something lightweight for the warmer weather, this might be great for you! I’ve been using this moisturizer for around a month now, and it has absolutely become a staple in my routine. I love it because of how lightweight and refreshing it is, while also being exceptionally hydrating. I also like it because of it’s unique texture/feel; it’s very lightweight, so much that it’s more on liquid-y side rather than solid. Some of the key ingredients this moisturizer has are probiotics, niacinamide and out seed extract. What caught my eye first was the niacinamide, which if you’ve been following me for some time, you might know that it’s my favorite ingredient. It helps to minimize pores, control oil product, calm redness and irritation as well as strengthen moisture barrier. What also peaked my interest were the probiotics. I haven’t tried many products with probiotics in them, but I heard great things from people who have. The ingredients do their job very well, and this moisturizer feels very calming and soothing whenever I use it. I would highly recommend this to anyone who’s looking for a moderately priced (it’s $28), lightweight or calming moisturizer. . . gifted #cheriecreator

Today’s Morning Routine
My morning routine it pretty much the same every day! Sometimes I switch out my cleansers or use a different toner. I like to use a brightening mask 2-3 times a week. Hope you enjoy 💕
☀️ Chill out with Sweet Chef
Sweet Chef is the wallet friendly sister brand to Glow Recipe that’s available online and at target. Like glow recipe, they love to highlight foods as the stars of their products and each one features a food-vitamin pairing. Today, I’m going to tell you about their Sweet CHEF - Ginger Kombucha + Vitamin D Chill Mist It’s all in the name, but here’s why sweet chef has put these three front and center in their chill mist: Ginger - has allllll the antioxidants to revive dull skin and even out skin tone Kombucha - full of probiotics that improve skin tone and fight hyperpigmentation Vitamin D - the sunshine vitamin boosts skin health by stopping free radical damage From Sweet Chef: “give thirsty skin a burst of probiotic-rich hydration! The chill mist hydrated and cools skin for the perfect dewy complexion“ Price: $17 for 2.3oz Here’s what I think: ☀️ I use this like I use most mists, which is to say all the time. I love it between layers of my routine to keep my face hydrated in the morning and spritz it on throughout the day for a pick me up ☀️chill mist really does have a cooling effect that is super refreshing in the summer. ☀️ ginger kombucha is one of my favorite drinks and they nailed the smell with this one. This could be a negative for you depending on your preferences but I absolutely love it and find that it fades quickly so I really only smell it while spraying ☀️ one star down because the spray nozzle gives off big droplets so you have to be careful to really hold it away from your face ☀️ overall, this is a very hydrating, refreshing mist that’s a great way to chill out! Do you love lists as much as I do? Any favorites?

SHANI DARDEN ROUTINE
I haven’t been using these long enough to speak on the long term benefits, but I wanted to share my first impressions of each: ⭐️ sake toning essence: i really love the idea of a toner and essence in one formula. once i read that this was formulated to help control oil and reduce appearance of pore size, I was SOLD! i have been trying this out in both my AM and PM routine to see what i like better. i think I may stick with using it in the AM for now, as it helps to keep me looking fresh and matifyed throughout the day! ⭐️ texture reform: i decided to go with this one instead of the retinol reform, because it’s a gentler and made for sensitive skin. i have used 2x at night so far and plan to add a day this week. so far I have had zero irritation from this and am excited to see the long term results! ⭐️ cleansing serum: this is super gentle and lathers very nicely. it doesn’t make my skin feel dry and gives my combination skin the perfect amount of hydration! i also feel like it helps calm inflammation and redness. i have used this as a second cleanse after oil cleansing and i have no makeup left behind!

Key to Radiant Skin 🔆
This ampoule is so pretty and I love the way it moisturizes my skin! It’s cheaper than a lot of other ampoules that I’ve seen on the market too. AHC is a pretty affordable K beauty brand that I highly recommend! I really like their eye creams. This ampuole contains pearl powder which is known to temporarily shrink pores, decrease redness, and improve skin texture. The white truffle in it helps soothe inflamed skin as well.
Honeymoon Glow Night Serum
Let me start by saying, I have been drawn to the brand Farmacy for a while due to their Sephora Clean certified products, packaging, and product concepts. I was excited to get this sample to try out this night serum and test it’s impact on my skin. Having tried other brands night serums with AHA and seeing drastic results, the bar was set pretty high. However, Farmacy’s price point for this product is a bit more friendly than luxury brands. While this sample only contained enough for two trials, I was bummed to see minimal results. My skin texture was relatively unchanged, there was no decrease in dark spots, and no change in tone. Keep in mind, consistency of product use can drastically impact results. But if you’re looking for impressive overnight results, this isn’t for you. The residue is slightly tacky which was something I did not like about the product and also caused a bit of irritation, such as a burning sensation on one of my cheeks and overall warmth on my face with patches of redness. To end on a positive note: this product smells like sunflower🌻 Retails for $58.00 FARMACY - Honeymoon Glow Serum
