best face mask I have ever used. To have that much of a concentration in a formula is out of this world and to be honest with you practically impossible to find these days. Not only is this product incredibly cheap, it actually works. When you aren't adjusted to ahas or BHA products I would advise you to be very cautious with this at first because when you first try it on you might go oh my gosh it stinks so bad and oh my gosh it's hurting my entire face and rinse it off immediately. It's increasing your cell turnover rate all while giving you an incredible glow and baby skin after you wash it off. This contains very powerful actives, that have been proven by science to actually work it isn't some gimmick. I put this on about two to three times a week in the mornings and then I will proceed with either a lactic acid or a glycolic acid or a vitamin C serum I never use all three on the same day you have to separate them otherwise they can mess with one another. I also find this mask to be incredibly awesome because of the color it looks like I'm bathing in the blood of my enemies oh, also I noticed that my products absorb way better after I use this mask. I will use this mask and wash it right off and then immediately proceed with the rest of my routine. I have noticed my skin becoming brighter, hyperpigmentation fading. Basically everything you could ever want in a mask. Leave on for only 10 minutes sometimes I'll leave on for 15, but just take a look of how bright my skin looks! Yes, it might be itchy and irritating at first but that's just because your skin is getting used to it, if it hurts REALLY bad I would slowly start to introduce AHAS and BHAS into your rotation of products. If you aren't comfortable by all means don't buy the product and don't use it. But this has to be my favorite products from the ordinary besides their niacinamide 10% and their Buffet. Today i used my hydrating cleanser, then I went on with this mask for 15 minutes, and then I went straight away to my Ren toner Ready Steady glow daily AHA tonic then I put the alpha arbutin 2% + h a from the ordinary on top. Also Alpha arbutin helps the absorption of ahas things such as lactic acid and glycolic acid , my (toner) is made out of lactic acid and numerous other things. Then I will moisturize with my snail recovery gel by mizon, and last I will put a broad-spectrum chemical moisturizer on that is from Japan. It is the Biore Aqua Essence 50 + PA + + + + if you are using any sort of acids or actives you need to be wearing sunscreen every single day. I have no other BHA products in my skin care rotation, I believe that this gives me enough for my skin to be happy with. I don't really struggle with acne anymore because of my exhausting routine, but hey at least something works out in my life. You can do reverse damage if you neglect that. Happy skin caring! Switching from physical to chemical exfoliants
Believe the hype surrounding The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution At the advice of a Cherie user, I made the leap and switched from physical to chemical exfoliants. If you read the instructions and follow them, this can be a great product for reducing your pores and making your breakouts less inflamed. Test this product on a small patch of recently cleansed skin. If you don’t have an adverse reaction to patch testing, use this product for only 5-7 minutes once a week and work your way up to 10 minutes. Just moisturize, moisturize, moisturize and use sunscreen. Sometimes my skin looks inflamed immediately after I apply the peel and then Cerave moisturizer. However, when I wake up the following morning I am no longer inflamed and my breakouts aren’t as noticeable as they were before I applied my weekly peel chemical exfoliant. I know the idea of an acid peel can be scary. I showed the bottle to my dermatologist and she didn’t think this peel was causing any issues for my particular skin situation. If you are nervous about using acids for the first time, talk to your MD! fresh - Sugar Face Polish Exfoliator I’m still not ready to part with this physical exfoliant because I feel luxurious when I use it. There was a period of time in early 2020 when I felt like this product was giving me the best skin days I ever had in my life. But now, my situation has changed and I’m going through a period of increased levels of hormonal acne. So I’m setting aside the physical scrubs for now. Fortunately, physical scrubs are one of the longest-lasting beauty products (on the shelf) and I’m hoping to reintroduce this product on occasion, starting in a few months. Many Cherie users have commented that this product makes the skin feel greasy, so I like to use cleanser after this exfoliant. Why did you decide to switch from physical to chemical exfoliants? Will you ever return to physical exfoliants, even on a rare occasion?

Best Face Mask for Combination Skin!!
I went to get a facial at my local masseuse and she recommended this product for after-care and to soften my skin and minimize my pores. It literally smells like almond oatmeal and the consistency is really thick and pasty. It’s a scrub mask, so you put in all over your face, especially focusing on the areas where your pores are most problematic. Leave it on for 10 minutes then rinse it off with lukewarm water. I use this twice a week. Once in the beginning (Sunday) and once at the end. I alternate between #Repecage - Honey and Almond Scrub[products]#[FiveStars] AND The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution having on and off days. I am working on a routine that works for me, so stay tuned for that post! THE RESULT? Smooth, supple skin. Cleared acne blemishes, and minimize pores to the MAX! It also brightens your skin and makes you glow!

The BEST skincare product ever! AHA peel!
The BEST skincare product ever! AHA peel!
Hi all! I’m so late to join this trend but I have found a holy grail! For the past two months I have been using The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution which I have fallen in love with and I’d love to share! What is the AHA peel? This product is a 10 minute exfoliating facial that contains Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA) which exfoliates the top layer of skin to brighten the skin and give you a more youthful, glowy look. It’s a very deep exfoliation method which also gets the gunks from your acne and pores cleaned out. This product is red and also looks like you put blood on your face! Did I see results? As this product is quite overhyped I was unsure whether it truly was a great product and not just a tik tok trend. 100% this is a legitimate mask! I saw dark spots that I have had for many months and just take so long to go away, I truly saw after 2 uses of the mask I saw very significant brightening which I was so suprised about. My pores were less apparent and there was less congestion all over my face. It definitely is my holy grail and will stay there. I have never seen results so quickly from a single product. Side effects? As this is a very potent and intense product you may notice some irritation if you have very sensitive skin which you should stop straight away if it is painful - you will experience some tingling but it never should be painful. Also NEVER leave it on for more than 10 minutes otherwise you will damage your skin. Always wear a sunscreen as the skin on your face will be more prone and sensitive to the sun! How often and when should I use it? I recommend using it once a week maximum due to being such a strong product, I feel as though using it more than once a week will damage your skin significantly due to the formula. Using it every Sunday night is what I do, I prefer doing it at night rather than in the daylight due to the products sensitivity to the sun! Even if you do it at 4pm, please ensure you put sunscreen on to avoid severe irritation. How to apply it? I would say applying it about 10 minutes after you’ve washed your face - free from dirt, oil and makeup. This will allow the product to penetrate deeply into your skin which means better results for you! Just a thin amount will be fine there is no need to do a thick layer with this product as it’s not a clay mask. Please comment if you have tried it/or going to try it! I would love to answer questions if you are hesitant about purchasing. Thanks for reading! :)

My thoughts on this......
My thoughts on this......
So I actually got this about 8 months ago (before it got super famous on tiktok) and I actually really disliked it at first. Cause when I used it the first couple times i used it at a time when my skin was pretty sensitive and it made my face all red and unhealthy looking. And I was like I’m never using this again. Ya so basically I’m really dumb😂 BUT I started using it recently for the past month or so and I’ve been really enjoying it! Just like when my pores feel really congested or I feel really oily this really helps to unclog them and it gives me a not a “squeaky clean” feeling but it makes me feel fresh if that makes sense😅. I haven’t seen any very dramatic changes in the appearance of my skin but it does help. Plus I think with this product it’s something that u have to use consistently to see really good life changing results. I do have to say tho my sister who has recently been struggling with acne and acne scarring this I have noticed has really been helping her with that. I can just see that her skin looks brighter and she has been getting less breakouts😊 Let’s get to how to use this: I use this 1 time a week because it’s VERY strong and I leave it on for 10mins max. I do not recommend this if you have very sensitive, cracked or dry skin. as I said before this is a VERY strong chemical exfoliant so if you have not used chemical exfoliants before I DEFINITELY do not encourage you to use this. Just know just cause something is trending or has helped other people it does not always mean it will work for you cause everyone has different skin. The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution

Game changer for your skin!
Game changer for your skin!
Having acne-prone skin means there are hyperpigmentation due to scars and it honestly does make me feel less confident. I have always been on the hunt for a good product that helps me with dull skin and hyperpigmentation. This product from the Ordinary is a chemical exfoliating mask that honestly does everything you have ever been looking for! It does sting a little but i think its worth that sting for the result you get! It helps me with acne scars and hyperpigmentation due to the AHA + BHA in this product 💙 these 2 ingredients honestly work so well together and you will see a difference in your skin within the first use (atleast I did). The texture of this product is water-slimey but you just put a light layer on your skin and the color is very bloody (haha) but thats the magic of this product! Leave it on for 10-12 minutes and then rinse it off and follow with the rest of your skincare. Not only that, its extremely affordable ($7.20) and you can get it at Ulta or Sephora or even the deciem website! The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution

The Ordinary’s AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution
The Ordinary’s AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution
The Ordinary’s AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution has gained so much hype the past couple of months. I caved in an decided to buy it. This product is $7.20 and totally worth it! - This is a 10 minute exfoliating facial that uses a combination of alpha hydroxy acid and beta hydroxy acid to help with the look of blemishes and smooths the look of skin texture. Glycolic acid and lactic acid is going to exfoliate the outer layer of the skin, while salicylic acid is going to exfoliate deep inside the pores to reduce congestion. - This product is going to work for all skin types and people who are struggling with blemishes, fine lines, wrinkles dullness and uneven skin texture. - I have used this product 3 times. The first time I used it I left it on for 6 minutes because I don’t usual use too many strong acids like this. When it was on my skin it didn’t burn or tingle like people said so I didn’t know if it was even working. Then after I washed it off my skin felt so soft and had a natural glow. The second and third time using it I left it on for 10 minutes and it still didn’t burn or tingle so maybe my skin just isn’t very sensitive. After using it my skin once again felt very soft and I’m starting to notice less and less blackheads on my nose. I truly believe in this product and recommend it. - Please be very cautious while using this product. This is pure acid that you are putting on your skin. Make sure you aren’t using it more then once and week and for only 10 minutes. If using this in the morning USE SPF and hydrate your skin. If using this at night make sure to really hydrate your skin and to not use any other strong acids with this product. If you don’t use this product properly you can then get chemical burns and more. Always do your OWN RESEARCH before using this product.

This has become one of my favorite products in the market, I use it every 10 to 15 days and helps me exfoliate my skin so good, it has even slowly helped me to vanish some sun damage spots, so I'm really happy with it and it is a product I highly recommen. This product has helped me reduce my skin spots caused by pimples, looks brighter, hydrated and has reduced my pores considerably. I saw the very noticeable changes since the first application. He is very kind to the skin. The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution

This ALMOST lives up to the hype
This ALMOST lives up to the hype
If you watch TikTok, you’ve probably seen this. And I think it ALMOST lives up the hype. But like a lot of other people have said, you need to be careful when you use this. The good: - I do feel like my skin almost instantly looks smoother and brighter after I take it off and the morning after I use it I definitely feel like my skin has a glow. - I have noticed my acne scars have started to fade (after 6 uses). It’s definitely not a one and done though. - I feel like my texture and pores do look significantly better after using this. - I love how it washes off so easily! Some masks require you to be a bit tougher with your skin, but this will wash right off with some water. - I have never experienced any peeling / dryness. The bad: - It stings. I hate to say it but it’s true. It stings the moment I put this on and I don’t have sensitive skin. How I use it: I make sure to use this at most biweekly and I never leave it on for more than 10 mins. Is it worth it? I think it’s worth giving it a shot! It’s not too expensive and I do think the results are really nice. I’ve used it 6 times and it still looks like I have a full bottle, so I do think you get bang for your buck. Just patch test first!! Will I repurchase? Honestly, I’m not sure. I had to essentially smuggle this one into Canada since they don’t sell this product here. I’ll have to see after I’m done the full bottle (I’ve been using it for the last two months so far). Ps I have combination, acne prone skin :)
