CeraVe - Renewing SA Cleanser For Normal Skin
SA Cleanser CeraVe - Renewing SA Cleanser For Normal SkinThe cleanser of this line is extremely soothing, gentle and perfect for sensitive skin. It does not remove make up and is safe to use as an everyday morning and evening cleanser.
SA Cream CeraVe - Renewing SA CreamThe cream is a thick consistency that helps penetrate the skin and creates a hydrating look. After continuous use I saw a significant difference in my skin as it looked bright and hydrated. The cream is a perfect winter moisturizer. The cleanser you’ve been looking for
CeraVe - Renewing SA Cleanser For Normal Skin Here is my favorite new cerave product. I have been using for a week now and it does remove dirt and oil from the face while leaving the face soft and smooth. It contains two important ingredients: 1️⃣ ceramides : to restore the skin’s barrier 2️⃣ salicylic acid: NEW; exfoliates and softens to smooth rough skin In addition it is : Non- comedogenic ✅ Non - drying ✅ Non - irritating ✅ Cerave did not disappoint ❗️✅ CeraVe - Renewing SA Cleanser For Normal Skin
Acne Skin Routine 🧴
I have acne-prone skin so I do this routine 1-2 times a week. I start by using the DHC - Deep Cleansing Oil to remove sunscreen and/or makeup. Although this one clogged my pores and made me break out, I still want to finish it before I find a new one. Next, I use the CeraVe - Renewing SA Cleanser For Normal Skin to gently cleanse while exfoliating. I’ve been using this for a few months and haven’t noticed transforming results like others have. I tone with the peach slices - Snail Rescue Blemish Busting Toner which has snail mucin (anti-aging), hyaluronic acid (hydrating), Centella Asiatica (soothing), and Tocopherol (Vitamin E). Overall great toner! I mildly exfoliate again with the VERSED - JUST BREATHE Clarifying Serum which has willow bark, niacinamide, sodium hyaluronate, zinc gluconate, and more. Finally, I moisturize with the cocokind - Texture smoothing cream which I have been loving! It has a lot of squalane which hydrates while balancing oils. Occasionally, I also use pimple patches when I’m breaking out (which is often). My favorite ones are the HERO COSMETICS - Mighty Patch Original for Madewell ones.
Cerave for dry rough bumpy skin
I bought this cream to use on my elbows, knees due to those areas being rough. I eventually started using on legs as it gave it a smooth texture. It is a light fragrance free cream . Use: Dry, rough, bumpy skin. I used it twice daily for my elbows, knees and once daily on my legs. How does it work? It helps to prevent and reduce the recurrence of dry, itchy, red and flaking skin. Active ingredient : Salicylic Acid 3% Salicyclic acid iimprove skin texture by exfoliating, softening and smoothing very dry skin. From scaly skin on the legs to bumps on the backs of the arms, smooth skin starts with eliminating dead cells plus moisturizing. Other ingredients: : AQUA, GLYCERIN, PARAFFINUM LIQUIDUM, GLYCERYL STEARATE, CETEARYL ALCOHOL, TRIETHANOLAMINE, NIACINAMIDE, CETYL ALCOHOL, AMMONIUM LACTATE, BEHENTRIMONIUM METHOSULFATE, PEG-100 STEARATE, ZEA MAYS OIL, CERAMIDE NP, CERAMIDE AP, CERAMIDE EOP, CARBOMER, DIMETHICONE, METHYLPARABEN, SODIUM LAUROYL LACTYLATE, CHOLECALCIFEROL, CHOLESTEROL, PHENOXYETHANOL, DISODIUM EDTA, TOCOPHEROL, PROPYLPARABEN, HYDROLYZED HYALURONIC ACID, PHYTOSPHINGOSINE, XANTHAN GUM. ⭐Contains: Niacinamide, Hyaluronic acid , Ceramides⭐ Suitable for rough and bumpy skin Non-comedogenic, hypoallergenic, fragrance-free, dye-free and non-irritating I like that it was non- irritating for me. Usually products with SA greater than 2% irritates my skin. If your skin is sensitive to salicylic acid it may cause irritation. The product also contains ammonium lactate and AHA alpha hydroxy acid which may cause your skin to be sensitive to the sun. Using with other skincare products that cause sensitivity increases the chance of a sunburn. Always use a sunscreen. Product size; 340g
Breaking up with my dermatologist
Hi all, Here is the first post in my ongoing skincare journey! I am currently 26 years old, and am a starving artist living my best life. ✨ I have sensitive combination skin with severe recurring cystic hormonal acne that has plagued me since my teenage years. Seriously, in 8th grade my face looked like a pizza. I also had braces, was the first in my class to get my period, and was about a foot taller than everyone else. Tough luck. In 9th grade my mom took me to a dermatologist who SAVED MY SKIN. I believe I was on epiduo forte topical lotion and internal antibiotics. The problem is that the antibiotics MURDERED my guy biome, and for the last few years of college I suffered from a combination of IBS, constant nausea, and hormonal acne brought on by stress, the antibiotics, and a lack of sleep. In short - BAD COMBO. Since I just turned 26, my insurance has changed, which means dermatology is no longer covered. I am actually thinking this is a good thing - for the last few years, I have felt that my dermatologist is not listening to me, and about 12 years into our doctor/patient relationship I STILL do not have the skin I want. She has thrown every product at me. I mean you name it - sulfur, 3 different types of retinoids, multiple types of topical antibiotics, benzoil peroxide, the list goes on. I just barely keep pushing the cystic acne on my cheeks back, while the rest of my skin suffers. I have white heads and black heads on my T-zone, my skin is often flaky and dry, and the pores on my butterfly zone are enlarged and have the dreaded “orange peel” texture, interspersed ced with larger acne scars. My dermatologist kept saying we would deal with those problems once we got rid of the serious acne, and that enlargened pores are just part of aging (aka there is nothing she could do about it.) But you know what? It never happened. My skin is still suffering. I love being creative with makeup, and it is hard to do this with such a damaged canvas. Also, I work in the entertainment industry, where sadly, being a woman, how you look affects how much money you make. So. Rant over. Thank you for bearing with me! 🙌🏽😘 Above are my current night and day routine, with the actives I am currently prescribed. Neither the dapsone gel nor the clindamycin phosphate dry/damage my skin, but I am not sure if they are doing anything either. 🤷🏻♀️ I just did a shit-ton of research, and have ordered some new products. My hope is to repair my damaged skin barrier and focus on nourishing my skin rather than punishing hing it. Stay tuned to see my revamped skincare routine. I am taking this into my own hands! 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽

HELP!! What actives should I be using?
I’m really struggling to figure out which actives I should be using... which means I’m not sticking to any one in particular, just jumping around from product to product whenever I feel like it. I know I need to be consistent, I just don’t know which one(s) to do. What would be the best to use/combine? Should I use one type in the AM with sunscreen and another at night? Currently I’m using - Softymo Deep Cleansing Oil to remove makeup CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin as face wash DERMA•E - All Sport Performance Face Sunscreen SPF 30 as sunscreen and I recently switched to CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion from the CeraVe cream in the tub. I also have CeraVe - Renewing SA Lotionbut I’m hesitant to use it with my other actives. Any advice is appreciated, I’m really struggling 🥺
A 2 Week Update
After changing out my cleanser, toner, and moisturizer for the suggestions made by this app (and from reading your posts and watching Hyram’s videos) my skin is looking smoother and better than ever! I have sensitive skin that’s also combination and I’m allergic to some skincare ingredients and fragrances. I used to use CLINIQUE - Liquid Facial Soap Oily Skin Formula , CLINIQUE - Clarifying Lotion 3 for Combination Oily Skin , CLINIQUE - 7 Day Scrub Cream Rinse-Off Formula , and CLINIQUE - Moisture Surge 72-Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator (where the oily skin moisturizing gel was not good on my dry skin) as my nightly routine with HUDA BEAUTY - Yo Glow Facial Enzyme Scrub once a week. I found that first it worked to clear me up, but then my sensitivities came out. I still had little bumps come up on my forehead, my dermatitis was coming out on my nose, chin, and temple. I knew I had to change it up, but was afraid to break from the system I was so used to. I did the skincare scan and was recommended to try a glycolic acid toner for my acne. I picked up The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution and CeraVe - Renewing SA Lotion to help with my problem areas. I ended up using both products in more areas than just my face (as you can see in one of my previous posts). I wanted to change up my cleanser, and wanted the CeraVe - Renewing SA Cleanser For Normal Skin, but it’s still sold out everywhere unless I want to spend $40 CAD and shipping to get it from Amazon. I watched Hyram’s CeraVe dupes video and found the Aveeno - Clear Complexion Foaming Cleanser . I was a bit apprehensive where it has fragrance, but it’s been good! Ooh, and I still use HUDA BEAUTY - Yo Glow Facial Enzyme Scrub once a week! My skin purged for a few days and now I’ve got the remains of 2 pimples barely left on my face, my red patches of irritated skin on my face are gone! All I’ve got to do now is to keep from touching my face (which is more on my mind due to the current state of the world) and stop popping pimples (which is a much easier feat where they’re minimal now!) My mom has even hopped on The Ordinary and Yo Glow train lol Let me know if you have any further suggestions or questions! ❤️

CERAVE keratosis Pilaris treatment
CeraVe - SA Moisturizing Cream For Rough & Bumpy Skin this is meant to treat keratosis Pilaris - also known as strawberry 🍓 skin or chicken skin because of the bumps and coloration of the bumps in some individuals. ( my bumps are generally flat but red ) CeraVe is a hit or miss from me - I’ve bought some stuff I never want to try again and other things I’ll keep repurchasing! 🌟 this ones a hit! It has helped get rid of the bumps and redness on my arms. I’ve tried the gold bond brand and amalactin for my strawberry arms and they haven’t helped much. CeraVe has helped clear up my arms. I’d buy again!
My New PM Hyperpigmentation Routine
Hey Everyone 🤎 I recently started my new PM routine at the end of October, and I am already starting to see changes. I started this routine because my hyperpigmentation started to get out of control, and I felt like I needed to change my PM routine so I can fight my PIH. I have started to see little changes in spots that were lighter, the darker spots have improved, but still have ways to go. I will share pictures of my improvements shortly. The routine is simple, however, I am excited for the day I can make my routine even more simpler. 1. Oil cleanse with #Cake - Gelato Cleansing Balm[products]#[FiveStars] 2. Cleanse with CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin 3. Apply THE inkey LIST - Tranexamic Acid Hyperpigmentation Treatment (my previous post reviews this product) 4. Apply The Ordinary - Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA 5. Moisturize with CeraVe - SA Moisturizing Cream For Rough & Bumpy Skin 6. Lastly, I applyThe Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil
Night time skincare routine 💤
Hey guys I recently posted my morning skincare routine and thought it was only right to share my nighttime skincare as well! CeraVe - Renewing SA Cleanser For Normal Skin- I just started using this product 2 days ago after hearing all about it from almost everyone on this app! I will be posting a separate review so stay tuned! Neutrogena - Alcohol Free Toner - I’ve been using this toner for forever! It’s a great alcohol free option and at an affordable price! Makes your skin feel great and doesn’t strip it if it’s hydration! I have two different moisturizers that I switch between for my nighttime skin! First, CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin I love this moisturizer! My dermatologist recommended this product to me because I do have eczema. This doesn’t feel to thick but it’s not a thin moisturizer ether! Love it! Now for my second one, POND'S - Facial Moisturizers Dry Skin Cream I love this moisturizer even more then the cerave! It’s a great thick moisturizer but once you rub it into your skin it doesn’t feel heavy! My skin never feels dry after using it! Cetaphil - Hydrating Eye Gel-Cream - My favorite eye cream! I used to struggle with very dry under eyes and this product was recommended to me by a friend. I used it and saw a change immediately! I use it every day and haven’t had dry under eyes since! That’s my nighttime skin please recommend any serums you might use for nighttime below! I’m interested in purchasing one! Leave any questions below as well!

💁♀️Lazy girl night time skincare routine
Would there be some days in a month when you are having a This is recommended when you have minimum makeup on. Cleansing is IMPORTANT! Do not try to skip this step. I remembered a few years ago when I didn’t pay much attentions to remove makeups and it caused terrible breakouts and acnes, and took me almost a year to get away from it. By minimum makeup here I mean you only put BB cream eyebrows and lips. Exclude heavy concealers, contours or eye makeups. Those request stronger removers and double cleaning for sure. Since it’s a lazy routine for skincare, I’m gonna make it into 2 steps. First step is proceing to cleaning. philosophy - Purity One-Step Facial Cleanser I super love this cleanser. It is a great one step cleanser that can removes the make up off completely and left my face with a soft touch and moisturized. Since we are already putting remover, cleanser and exfoliation into one step, I would normally use a cleansing tool - luna mini 3 along with this facial wash for a deeper cleaning. These two products are like the perfect combo. And since this luna mini is so small, it can actually fits different angles on the face especially the side of the nose. In addition, it is also travel friendly. You can carry it with you when you a travel for business ( I know is not durable at this time, but just prepare for future hah) Normally I would foam the cleanser up with bare hands and use the luna sonic facial cleanser to do circular rolling motions on the cheeks and forehead. This step generally removes the dirt, physical pollutant and dead skin on the surface of the skin. After that, I would take a wet sponge and remove the layer. This step also helps to double check if your this process is complete or need second cleaning. 2nd Step- Skincare Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Cream Just apply one layer before going to bed. I would use this all in one moisturizer to apply a thin layer to the whole face and dab in to absorb. I would also apply some massage (if i have energy to do that) By doing this, it would keep my skin hydrated and calm it down. This cream contains ceramics, beta Glucan, hyaluric aside and other moisturizing agents and it gives my skin just enough hydration. These two steps helps me to do a cleaning and allows for hydration as well. Takes 10 minutes max. However, if you have time, still recommend to slow down and do a complete skincare routine use your lotions and serums.

If You Have Acne-prone Skin, Give CeraVe A Go! 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼
I have combo-oily and acne-prone skin (oily in summer and dry in winter), so I focus more on skincare products that can help to repair the skin barrier and fight the annoying acne. 😫😫 I was recommended CeraVe products, which is said to be an excellent option for those that need help repairing a damaged moisture barrier. Here is my review of 3 products I've tried: CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion It's xcellent for all skin types, particularly dehydrated skin in need of barrier recover. It works well on hydration, and its not greasy at all! I can use it in the summer! I usually have three pumps to apply and massage to make it soaks into my face. I have to say that I didn't see a significant difference in brightening skin tone, but it's useful in treating acne and repairing skin. The fact that it has 4% niacinamide with glycerin, hyaluronic acid & 3 types of ceramides makes this holy grail status for me. But It may stings at first use, so build tolerance first. CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin This is a pretty light lotion and perfect for people who don’t like the tacky or sticky feelings of moisturizers. I love to use it in summer, and it absorbs very quickly. It doesn't sit on the skin, and the skin kind of drinks it in. My facial skin feels plumped and well-hydrated. This lotion contains ceramides that support hydration and protects overall skin wellness. I would highly recommend it to anyone on a budget as it’s inexpensive yet very effective. CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser The cleanser is a Life Saver when my skin breakouts and irritated. This cleanser has 3 essential ceramides that protect and build the skin barrier and helps retain moisture at the same time. They also help to protect the skin from environmental aggressors such as pollution and irritations, that can cause sensitivity, redness and dryness. Since I have combo-oily skin, I added it to my PM skincare routine and it can leave my face clean and soft. I'm beyond happy with this brand and will forever repurchase! Considering the effectiveness and prices, I would 10/10 recommend it to anyone having acne-prone skin like me!🥰🥰🥰
CeraVe-Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin
Rich Moisturizing Cream for Dry Skin!
Are you looking for an affordable & effective moisturizer for your dry skin? Then you should definitely consider this product! What is it? - CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin - CeraVe Moisturizing Cream acts by effectively hydrating as it helps restore the skin’s protective barrier. Developed with dermatologists and ideal for dry and very dry skin on the face and body, this rich, non-greasy, fast-absorbing moisturizing cream features patented MVE Delivery Technology to release a steady stream of hyaluronic acid and three essential ceramides throughout the day and night. - Suitable for sensitive skin, this oil-free and fragrance-free ceramide cream also helps the skin hold on to moisture while improving its look and feel. - Available in wide variety of sizes (1.89oz-19oz), with prices ranging from $5.49-$18.49. What’s in it? - Ceramides: Essential for healthy skin, ceramides help restore and maintain the skin’s natural barrier. - Hyaluronic acid: This ingredient attracts hydration to the skin’s surface and helps the skin retain moisture. - Petrolatum: Often referred to as the “gold standard” of occlusive ingredients because it creates a physical barrier that prevents moisture from leaving the skin. - MVE Technology: This patented delivery system continually releases moisturizing ingredients for 24-hour hydration. - Non-comedogenic, oil-free, hypoallergenic, fragrance-free and suitable for sensitive skin My review- - I have dry, sensitive, acne-prone skin. I’m currently treating my acne with clindamycin (AM) and tretinoin (PM). - I purchased this moisturizing cream in hopes that it would hydrate my dry skin and soothe irritation. It has done exactly that. It has a very rich, balmy texture. I prefer to use it at night for that reason, but if my skin needs it, I’ll use it during the day. (I typically use the FAB ultra repair cream as my daytime moisturizer). - It makes my skin feel so soft and smooth. Due to the petrolatum, it does form a sort of protective barrier that locks in moisture. It does, however, make it feel a little heavy on the skin. - I would definitely recommend this cream to those dealing with dry skin, whether that’s from winter or treating with actives. CeraVe-Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin
Sunrise Skin Routine - AM Edition
Hello lovies! I am back with my most up to date morning skincare routine! Some background information is that I have oily combo skin and deal with occasional dry patches on my face. During the spring and summer season I don’t have the dry patches but once the weather changes, temperatures drop, and the air gets dry in the east coast - it’s dry patches around the corners of my lips and edges around my nose. Every morning when I wake up these are the three items is I use, I’ll start with order of use. I begin with the Glossier. - Milky Jelly Cleanser to wash of my face and clear any residue built over night. I like that this product is not too strong nor does it carry a strong scent which makes it perfect for all skin types in my opinion. This cleanser includes five skin conditioners that is perfect for not over drying the face after wash. According to Glossier, it is “soothing, purifying, and nourishing.” I 100% agree with the statement. This item retails from $9.00-$18.00, depending on size. I am almost done with this bottle and plan on repurchasing. The second item I use is the Vaseline - Cocoa Butter Healing Jelly, Rich Moisturizing ! I apply this specifically to the dry patches of my face that I mentioned earlier. I have been using Vaseline on my face for over five years, I think it does an excellent job of providing hydration to the dry spots of the face. Ironically, I have some super oily spots on my face so it’s funny that I have to apply Vaseline to other areas. This item is a steal too - one small container costs only $1.79! During the winter season this baby here is a life saver and even during the warmer seasons I occasionally apply it in the morning too. The last item I use in my morning skincare routine is the FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream Pink Grapefruit . This is the moisturizer I apply all over the face except for places I applied my Vaseline on. This baby provides the perfect amount of hydration for the oily, normal, and dry spots on my face! It’s not too overpowering and you feel your face just take in the hydration! I absolutely love that this item can be used for those dealing with intense dryness or distress skin. This works incredible on my skin and I have experienced zero breakouts from this routine. I have been using this specific routine for the last three months! The routine has always been the same it begins with some face wash, Vaseline, and then a moisturizer. I’ve been fortunate enough to win a few giveaway and thus discovered Glossier and First Aid Beauty. I think this combo works well for my skin type and believe it would work well for those with similar oily combo skin types. It doesn’t bring more attention to the oily spots and it hydrates the spots that need more love! Stay around for my PM routine - it’s coming up soon!

A Simple Morning Routine with a View 🏙
Since moving to Honolulu, the name of the game has been hydration! Despite what you would think about tropical climates, it’s not unusual for hot and humid weather to dry you out with UV rays and dehydration. So I’ve really whittled down my morning routine to 3 steps (and a coffee, of course!) CLEANSE: MARIO BADESCU - Enzyme Cleansing Gel I’ve been using this cleanser every morning for the last month and I saw results after the first wash! It’s a super gentle non-foaming cleanser claims to gently buff away oil and impurities while papaya and grapefruit extracts brighten. My skin actually glows after cleansing with this! It’s sulfate, pthalate and paraben free, making it the perfect morning cleanser for my dry sensitive babes! Highly recommend this as a staple on your shelf. TONE: fresh - Rose Deep Hydration Toner I just bought this toner, but I am loving it so far! Most toners leave my skin feeling tight and itchy and this does none of that! It’s gentle and my skin feels nice and soft and smooth when I use it, plus it smells amazing! Rose is one of the few scents that doesn’t irritate my allergies, so I’m definitely going to make it a regular. HYDRATE: Neutrogena - Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel Moisturizer This moisturizer has lived on my shelf since I was 16 years old and I don’t plan on getting rid of it any time soon. Though I admit it falls by the wayside sometimes, it’s tried-and-true for me and when i need a reset I always go back to it. It’s so lightweight and soothing, the product sinks right into my skin with zero residue and leaves behind a smooth, soft surface. It’s perfect when my face is feeling just a little dry and needs a mid day refresh. I usually have to put a layer on, wait 5 min, and apply a second time to my cheeks because the formula is so lightweight and I need just a little more hydration. But for only $15 it’s well worth it!
