Let’s chat hair color!
What is a hair toner? A toner is a semi or demi permanent hair color that either adds or neutralizes tone in your hair- that’s where the word toner comes from. As a colorist, I use a toner on 99% of my blondes. A problem I’ve run into in the past is a new client telling me they do NOT want a toner or that they’ve been told they’re only for fixing mistakes! Let’s pause here. Without a toner your hair color will be what I call “raw blonde” aka whatever your color wants to lift to on its own. This can include uneven color from previous touch ups, or yellow or orange undertones that our hair naturally has. A toner is my weapon to help combat these uneven tones and leave your hair as our desired result. So- next time your stylist uses a toner you can ask, what color are we enhancing today?! The answer might surprise you! Xo

Is your Curly Hair Damaged? Here’s how to FIX it!
Damaged curly hair can sneak up over time, or it can happen with one bad experience with a flat iron or a blow dryer. Either way, damage and dryness can completely ruin your curls. If your hair feels brittle and lifeless or will no longer hold its curl pattern, then you may be dealing with damaged hair.
before and after from my hair cut and style
This is the before and after from my hair cut and style by nubiarezo. I didn’t get any footage from the cut itself but I wanted to show the transformation ✨••✨ The before clip is my hair with absolutely NO product or styling at all. Nubia is amazing and I definitely recommend any curly girl so see her for your next cut! She was able to tell me exactly where the damage was and showed me a new way to apply product, which I’ll be sharing with you guys!

Easy wrapped low ponytail✨
Yey or nay? I thought about creating the most simple look for those who might be wearing a sparkly outfit and that might only want a subtle touch on the hair to complete your look👌🏻 Hope you like it ☺️here are the products used: Hairspray: OBLIPHICA PROFESSIONAL - Seaberry Multi-Task Hair Spray Extra tips: ⭐️The thinner the hair section you grab the neater the hair will look. ⭐️Make sure every time you wrap around the hair you pull it at the same time so it stays tight and neat. ⭐️if you have hairs sticking out while wrapping, twist them on the back so they stay hidden ⭐️I sprayed the ends and secured it with two bobby pins strategically placed on the back of the ponytail so they stay in place

Braided bangs and a high pony
So braiding is not my strong suit but I wanted to add a little something to my basic high pony! I def need some practice. Does anyone have tips for braiding hair?? The one thing I have perfected is my high pony! The key is to run pomade through the front of your hair to make it easy to pull back. Also, secure it with two pony tails! Then slick it all back with more pomade :) SheaMoisture - Jojoba Oil & Ucuuba Butter Laydown Lacquer RENE FURTERER - Style Vegetal Styling Wax

Let's Do a Hair Mask!
One of my favorite ways to keep my curly hair happy is a weekly hair mask! I do it every Sunday and there's a few different ways I like to apply it. This Sunday I did it a little different - but it's still just as effective! Here's how I masked this Sunday: 1. I started by detangling, I didn't have any product in my hair so this step was pretty easy. I use a wet brush when detangling my dry hair because it's more gentle. 2. I applied my Camille Rose - Oud Rich Infusion Moisture Treatment it's super rich and creamy. It's great for detangling and redefining curl pattern. As I apply I brush the product through with my wet brush. I focus also am sure to apply to the ends of my hair which tend to be more dry! 3. Once I've finished applying my deep conditioner I then go in with an oil on my scalp and throughout the lengths of my hair. I used the Camille Rose - Nangai & Tsubaki Strength Restore Hair Oil on my scalp and the Camille Rose - Oud Rich Infusion Hair Oil through the lengths. Both of these are thick oils that really seal the hair mask into the hair. 4. Apply either cling wrap or a plastic shower cap - this will keep the heat from out head trapped inside, which allows the hair mask to penetrate into the hair shaft. 5. Apply your Hot Head Thermal Hair Care - Chic Hot Head this is a microwavable heat cap that will also helps the deep conditioner to penetrate further into the hair shaft. 6. Leave on the mask for at least 20 minutes, I like to leave it on for an hour or more! 7. Rinse out your mask and then you can either shampoo and condition like you normally would, or I like to use just a cleansing conditioner to add even more moisture! I used the Camille Rose - Rose Cleansing Milk it's smells amazing and helps the lengthen my curls.
