NEW BEAUTY BUYS
NEW BEAUTY BUYS
Hello hello ✨🥰 Today I picked up a few new goodies and I’m soo excited to try them. So far I’ve tried the LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Purifying Foaming Cleanser and i love the clean feeling i get without it feelings overly stripping!! Good cleanser for a good price ($15) I’m going to try out the other products and give updates on my thoughts. If you have any suggestions for new products I should try or things you’d like to see me try feel free to pitch them to me 😘❤️ UPDATE: i have used The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution twice now once last night and once this morning. I definitely notice a glow in my skin as well as my face not being dry after washing it. It gives my face a smooth texture as well. I love it! too cool for school - Rules of Mastic IX Enhancer Recovery Balm this has a very smooth cream consistency. It’s very light weight and gives good moisture so i like this one as well. I’ll be doing more research on the ingredients. Bio-Oil - Multiuse Skincare Oil I got this in hopes to repair my skin and get rid of my scarring left behind from acne. So far i like it. It’s a very light weight oil that doesn’t leave me looking too greasy for everyday wear. bliss - What a Melon Water Jelly Hydrator for Combination Skin This reminds me a lot of the Neutrogena - Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel Moisturizer Which is definitely a favorite of mine. It got it on sale from Target for $6 so i decided to give it a try. It has nice fragrance and a very hydrating feel due to it being a gel consistency.

Skincare routine suggestions from TIKTOK??
Skincare routine suggestions from TIKTOK??
Of course I found myself on the skincare side of Tik Tok and I’ve found a very helpful video that helps remind me what order to use my products. But I have a question: Is Niacinamide not suppose to be used with Vitamin C or does it not matter?

PEEL OFF MASK.. Just cause!
PEEL OFF MASK.. Just cause!
So today I was being a couch potato. I’ve been in the house all day and have been awake since 4 am (why? Cause I’m weird) So i just felt like doing a peel off mask. The one I used was a pretty holographic mask (I tagged it down below) I got in a gift set from ulta (which I’ll post later) I hardly ever do these because they don’t show any change in my skin but I seem to have so many. So I put it on and decided to clean up and do laundry. I don’t have anything to really say about it cause there wasn’t much to it besides it being pretty. Side Note: I just want to say thank you so much for all the people who have interacted with my content whether it be questions about products or suggestions on new products/recommending some. With all the follower and interactions I promise to be more active and post frequently so if there is anything you’d like to see or know please just let me know! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for all the love. I truly appreciate it ❤️ FREEMAN - Hydrating Amethyst Cosmic Holographic Peel-Off Mask

Updated skin care routine
Updated skin care routine
For those who asked, yes I have updated my skin care routine. I have a simple one i do on my lazy days and an in-depth one i do when i truly have the time and patience. I start by cleansing my face with CeraVe - SA Smoothing Cleanser which I have loved since I’ve gotten it. It’s a gentle cleanser that cleans out my pores and keeps my face clear and smooth. I started using acne.org - Treatment (Benzoyl Peroxide – 2.5%) And I have seen a huge difference in just a few days with the small break out I had due to my wonderful cycle lol i love this stuff. For toner I use FENTY SKIN - Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum It’s some days I skip this step because i don’t find it necessary, i haven’t seen anything special about it but I use it some days when I do my extensive routine. I go in with 3 products from the ordinary during my in-depth routine The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 10% + HA The Ordinary - Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12% The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG Honestly i am not sure if i have seen a difference using these but i just want to clear my hyperpigmentation. Moisturizers: CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion OKAY SO IM GUILTY OF USING THIS AT ALL TIMES OF THE DAY AND NOT JUST AT NIGHT! but it’s just so nice 🥺 FENTY SKIN - Hydra Vizor Invisible Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen I use this and i love the fact that it has sunscreen in it but i still use sun bum - Clear Zinc SPF 50 at the end of my routine Simple Routine: in order CeraVe - SA Smoothing Cleanser acne.org - Treatment (Benzoyl Peroxide – 2.5%) FENTY SKIN - Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion sun bum - Clear Zinc SPF 50 Deep routine: CeraVe - SA Smoothing Cleanser acne.org - Treatment (Benzoyl Peroxide – 2.5%) The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 10% + HA The Ordinary - Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12% The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion FENTY SKIN - Hydra Vizor Invisible Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen sun bum - Clear Zinc SPF 50 If anyone has any questions or suggestions comment below.. You Must Know This Beauty Hack!
You Must Know This Beauty Hack!
I learned the brand Sulwhasoo from my sister, when we went to Seoul last year. She said it’s one of the luxurious skincare brands in Korea. And yup, that’s true. This brand offers expensive, posh products in stunning packaging.   One of the cult products that a lot of skincare YouTubers have been raving about is the brand’s First Care Activating Serum.Sulwhasoo - First Care Activating Serum   You see, serum is supposed to be layered in on top of your toner and essence, and before any other serums, eye cream, and a rich moisturizer. This isn’t the case with this product. You’re supposed to use it right after cleansing as it’s meant to make other products sink in your skin even better.   I learned this trick from Joan Kim, after watching her cute YT promotional video for Sulwhasoo in Sephora. This brand offers its customers an experience so we’re supposed to enjoy the process by rubbing the hands together to produce heat, get 2 pumps of the product, inhale it (it smells divine, like I’m in a spa or something), then gently tap it on your face. I honestly just bought them earlier this week so I’ve been using this for just a few days, and I love it! It has a super light consistency and is easily absorbed by my skin.   I don’t know if it’s psychological or what, but my skin feels ready and prepared for the next few products I’m about to use. Definitely a must-try!

The Best AM Skincare Routine for Glowing Skin
The Best AM Skincare Routine for Glowing Skin
I am someone with extremely sensitive and acne prone skin. I have spent many years trying to find the right skincare routine that works for my skin type. After years of trial and error, I have found this routine has given me the best results. My skin is much smoother, even, and I am noticing a lot less breakouts. 1) I tend to wake up with oily skin so I like to start with a hydrating cleanser likeLA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser. It is very gentle, non comedogenic and great for sensitive skin. The milky face cleanser keeps your skin hydrated. I like that my skin doesn’t feel tight after using this cleanser. It is formulated with Prebiotic Thermal Water, Ceramide-3, Niacinamide, and Glycerin. 2) Next, I like to use PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator three times a week right after I cleanse. BHA is great for normal to oily skin that's prone to bumps, blemishes, clogs and enlarged pores. BHA is a natural exfoliation that removes dead skin cells and helps clear and minimizes large pores. The salicylic acid is known to fight bacteria and helps target acne as well. 3) Then I use PAULA'S CHOICE - 10% Niacinamide BoosterNiacinamide is a form of vitamin B3 which helps with redness, reduce pore size, uneven skin tone, wrinkles, and rough and dry skin. It has a really light texture which I love. This is also great for those who struggle with acne because Niacinamide reduces inflammation. 4) I follow up with a SKINCEUTICALS - C E Ferulic With 15% L-Ascorbic Acid Vitamin C Seruma combination of ferulic acid and pure vitamin C and E to help protect against environmental damage. It is a little pricey but worth it. Vitamin C helps reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles and also works to firm and brighten your complexion. It is a little sticky when you first apply and has a stronger smell but I don’t mind it and the smell fades shortly after application. BHA, Niacinamide, and Vitamin C can all be used together with no problems. 5) Next, I will moisturize with elta md SKINCARE - AM Therapy Facial Moisturizerwhich is great for sensitive skin. It’s also very light and increases moisture absorption. If your budget allows, I also highly recommend Allies of Skin - Peptides & Antioxidants Firming Daily Treatment. It keeps my skin hydrated and has a lot of peptides, brighteners, and antioxidants that work to soothe redness, inflammation, brightens, fade dark spots, and increase production of collagen. 6) Finally I make sure to end with SPF at least 50+. I like to use colorescience - Sunforgettable Total Protection Face Shield SPF 50 SunscreenIt’s lightly tinted but blends real well into all skin tones. It’s not thick like most sunscreens which I really like.

Olaplex No. 7: MUST HAVE BOND OIL
Olaplex No. 7: MUST HAVE BOND OIL
Is your hair parched, dry and heat-damaged? Do you struggle with frizz and fly-always? Did you colour or bleach your hair and it’s just so split and bleeds out dye? Or do you just want a maintenance oil for your hair that repairs bonds, creates shine, protects against heat and helps against colour fade? Olaplex No 7 is the right bonding oil for you. It’s in a small bottle for $28 ($36-38 CAD), but it PACKS A PUNCH. OLAPLEX - No. 7 Bonding Oil Off of Olaplex’s website, they claim it “dramatically increases shine, softness, and color vibrancy. N°7 minimizes flyaways and frizz, while providing UV/heat protection of up to 450°F/232°C.” Wow. It’s also vegan, cruelty-free, pthalates/paraben-free and also for all hair types. The fragrance is just amazing, very pleasing to the nose but not extremely strong. It’s a saturated oil, so you don’t even need more than a dime amount on your hand unless you have very long and/or thick hair. You just run it through your locks and ends thoroughly before styling and using heat tools or on dry hair for extra shine and frizz/fly-away control. You can also use it on wet hair. Results: My hair is SO much better now. It used to look so split in the past that I had to trim nonstop. Whenever I coloured my hair, the colour fades so fast and bleeds out in the shower. Using Olaplex No 3 as well as getting an Olaplex treatment done in the salon and using the No 7 as a styling oil or frizz treatment has made my hair colour fade less, stay vibrant, have extra shine and softness as well as less splitting and just looks so good overall. Worth the price. The second is a video of showing the shine in my hair. A must-have for ladies and gentlemen needing a good oil for heat/colour protection, frizz control and bond repair. And a big must-have for those looking into vegan, cruelty-free products. Take care of your hair and you’ll feel great! Enjoy the sunshine, hair dying and curling irons without guilt and hair troubles. ☀️

 Hyperpigmentation transformation
Hyperpigmentation transformation
Alpha arbutin + HA serum from The Ordinary and the Ultra Light Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 from CeraVe are very important parts of my skin care regimen. With consistency and patience I was able to see improvements fast. Posts I would see on Instagram and websites I would visit all made me fearful that my hyperpigmentation would last years. However, I learned what works well for my skin and doesn’t and was able to find products that would help my concerns. Alpha Arbutin is an amazing product that works by blocking the skin’s tyrosinase activity resulting in the prevention of melanin formation. This natural ingredient can be very beneficial in treating hyperpigmentation, and discoloration. Although sunscreen is the last step it’s the most important step. For years I’ve been trying to clear my skin if dark spots but I would never put on sunscreen, now I know the importance of sunscreen and apply it every two hours. Anyone have any other recommendations for sunscreen that don’t have a white cast ? 🤎 The Ordinary - Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA CeraVe - Ultra-Light Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 For Normal To Oily Skin
