smell sweet and also makes you look ever sweeter
This toner oh my first I have to say the scent is amazing. It scent is a blast of sweet lemon zest. when I first apply toner to my skin I had a little bit of tingling sensation but nothing more. Then through time my skin was able to adapt to the formula and the tingling sensation fade away. Slowly I notice my become smoother and supple and my dark spots faded away. note that you can only use this toner in the evening because you will cause the skin to be very sensitive to worse the Sun. Overall experience I did enjoy this toner but the price is pretty high. OLE HENRIKSEN - Glow2OH Dark Spot Toner

updated post for Olehenriksen toner 💙
Olehenriksen toner This toner from Olehenriksen has many benefits when it comes to this toner. When using Olehenriksen toner it's prefer using at night because the formula cause the skin to be vulnerable and very sensitive to sunlight and causing higher risk skin damage. The benefits of using include are dark spots, fine lines, wrinkles, even skin tone and texture. The ingredients contain lemon, sugarcane, licorice root, chamomile and sandalwood extract. For me when using this toner you get delicious sent of lemony citrus aroma when applying. To apply to my skin I use a cotton pad to evenly apply to my skin, then after I had a little bit of a tingling sensation but over time it went away. Every time I use this toner at night my skin has a very supple texture and glow. Overall I'm happy using this toner would recommend anyone to try and as someone as my self who suffer from dry skin. Review: Balancing Force Toner 🌱
I’m back to quickly share my thoughts on this toner by @olehenriken #OLEHENRIKSEN - Balancing Force Oil Control Toner[products]#[FourStars] 🌱it’s their Balancing Force Oil Control toner and I got it because @desiperkins raved about it! And believe it or not this is my first product from them! 🌱 it’s good! Feels refreshing and kinda leaves your skin tingling a bit! It contains salicylic, glycolic and lactic acids you help with exfoliating dead skin. And has witch hazel! But I don’t love that it does have some essential oils such as peppermint and eucalyptus, they can cause irritation to the skin 🗣would I rebuy it?? Maybe not, I’m don’t find myself feeling this is a necessary part of my skincare routine and I haven’t noticed any positive changes in my skin! Maybe I’m just not a fan of toners 🤷♀️ 💰 $29 for 6.5oz- it’s a fair price! What is a toner you can’t live without???
Sahajan 🥥 FAVE OR MEH?
I’ll just start with the verdict: FAVE 🌟 Why? a skincare line that shows more immediate results compared to most brands it’s where Ayurvedic wisdom meets science it’s local to Canada (made in Toronto), with ethical ingredient sourcing sahajan - Balance Toner Key ingredients: Moringa oil (antioxidant, removes impurities), Rose water (soothing), Orange+lemon+bilberry extracts (gentle exfoliation) smoothens out skin texture overtime, with gentle exfoliation. I like to use it for minimizing breakouts and quickly clearing up blemish scars. Also it’s such a good deal for your buck at $40 CAD. I’ve had mine since November and with nearly daily use, I still have half of a bottle left! sahajan - Nourish Face Cream Key ingredients: Triphala (antioxidant), Gotu kola (firming), Coconut oil (nourishing) I started using this in the winter as I assumed it to be a little too dense back when I was introduced to it in the summer; however, it absorbs into the skin so well! I like to use it on top of my hydration serum, especially before applying makeup, as it slightly mattifies the skin with a hint of a natural glow. sahajan - Radiance Eye Cream Key ingredients: Coconut oil (hydrating), Honey (repairing), Triphala (brightening), Neem (anti-inflammatory) Though, this is a pretty new addition to my skincare routine, I really enjoy this eye cream experience. It absorbs super well and is really hydrating. Great for wearing at night after going crazy on the eyes with makeup or just to look more awake! 👀 I’d also like to add that usually I wouldn’t use coconut oil on my face, as it broke me out in high school, but this line uses it in an effective, non pore-clogging way 👏🏽
Tarte Knockout First Impression
So I just used this product for the first time today and boyyy do I have some opinions. So first of all I should mention that this was my first time using a chemical exfoliator so I was super excited to try this out. Originally it felt so gentle on my skin while I was applying it, which is a good thing because I have really sensitive skin. So after I gently rub this on my face with a cotton ball, I took a look at the cotton ball and was amazed at the amount of dead skin this managed to get off. Like y’all it was insane. I haven’t worn makeup in MONTHSSS and I wash my face twice a day religiously so I wasn’t expecting to have so much dead skin. So after marveling for what felt like forever at how shiny my face was, I let the product settle and dry down before continuing with my routine. This is where I had a minor issue. My skin was turning really red in the places where I had applied the exfoliator. It wasn’t burning and my skin doesn’t feel super tight, but it was definitely mad at me. I kind of expected this to happen but it was super annoying to continue with my routine with such a red face. The redness has died down tremendously in the past hour or so, but I still wouldn’t recommend this to anyone with super sensitive skin due to how my skin reacted. My skin does feel super smooth and looks a lot more shiny, but I would say to just be careful and use your own judgment on this product and use it sparingly. I’ll still probably continue to use this about once a week and maybe I’ll review it again after a few months of really testing it out, but for right now I’m kind of torn about it. Feel free to give me your thoughts on this product or maybe your own experience using it below!
tarte-Knockout Tingling Treatment Toner
Kombucha + 11% AHA Exfoliation Power Toner from youthtothepeople I’ve been using it for a full month I thought it was time to discuss. If you’re not familiar with it, this toner provides gentle exfoliation to smooth out texture and reduce the look of pores. It’s formulated with Black Tea Kombucha which is fulllll of prebiotics that are good for the skin. The AHA’s used in the toner are lactic + glycolic acid. Overall, the ingredients list is crystal clean and contains only the good stuff 🌱 (just like every YTTP product!) My personal experience using this toner has been so-so, but that could be because I only use it every other night and it’s meant to eventually be used nightly (once you’ve worked up to it). What I said about my skin being clearer than ever this month still stands, but I’m having some stubborn texture issues on my forehead that this toner hasn’t really helped. Working up to nightly use will hopefully fix this for me! I also haven’t experienced any tingling or redness when using this toner, so it really is super gentle.

I was using strong chemical exfoliants every day and my skin was starting to freak out. I went from combo dry to oily and acne prone and I was breaking out nonstop so I decided to take a little reset. After a week of no exfoliation I started incorporating this in my routine and I love it. It’s very very gentle and keeps my skin bright and smooth without compromising my skin barrier and totally screwing up my skin. My skin has been balanced, soft and clear and hasn’t looked this good in awhile. I strongly recommend for anyone looking for a gentle exfoliant or anyone who’s skin is just freaking out. Thank you so much Mothermade for gifting me this to try 💚

Coxir Vita C Bright Toner
When it comes to changing my skincare routine I get a little hesitant because the product it either help my skin or irritate it. To begin with, I’m very picky when picking a toner.I want a toner that is going to be good for sensitive skin, even though I don’t considered my skin to be sensitive . It needs to have hydrating ingredients since my skin gets very dehydrated. Also if I get a toner to help with brightening or contains aha/bha I want it to have good ingredients. I tried this coxir_official Vita C Bright toner, this was kindly gifted by xycos_official . I put this to the test the other morning and I noticed a bit of red spots on my cheek. At first I thought it was my serum that caused it but after using it Friday night and seeing that I started to get same red spots on my cheek and a few mini breakouts. It clicked!! because I haven’t changed my serums just the toner. So as much has I wanted to like it I just can’t. It messed up my skin so bad!! My skin was thriving during this quarantine 😭😭😫 I searched up the ingredient list and one one the ingredients is alcohol! There’s some good alcohols in skincare but just pure alcohol!?! Is a no for me!! I hope in the future they stop using alcohol. • Ingredient list: ▫️ Vitamin complex (Vitamin C, A, E) to strengthen skin barrier and restore the elasticity. ▫️ Niacinamide to reduce pigmentation. After using this product I really wanted to get a toner that will help with brightening. A toner that has similar or better ingredients than this Coxir toner. @somebymi expanded their Yuja line and added a toner!! The ingredient list is amazing and they don’t add harmful ingredients.
