Post featuring Glow Recipe watermelon sleep mask which I used while I was away for light exfoliation. I really enjoyed this mask, I did not have high hopes for this mask as I the last gel mask I used from Laneige didn’t really deliver. This mask was nice and light and had a really candy like watermelon smell (which could be a problem for people with sensitive skin and sensitive to fragrance). I used this once every 2-3 days as my last step before. First time I used it I used too much and rubbed it which made it pill, so next time I used only 2 scoops (as per directions) and patted it in. Next morning face was actually glowing!
Make up was my first love and NARS was one of the first higher end brands that I got into. Their blush are still some of the most unique and pigmented I own (Exibit A anyone?) They have always been a company with a sort of edge to them. Recently got their Provocateur eyeshadow palette, excited to play around with it, as the colours are different and away from my everyday neutrals. Their Climax mascara is also one of the best I have used lately, the formula is slightly drier and holds curl relatively well.
Sol de janeiro products make me happy! It’s sunny today and this range just screams summer in the sun! Most know the smell! Salted caramel pistachio goodness. I don’t wear this all the time as it will clash with what perfume I am wearing, but when I do I use the cream, then spritz body mist all over.

sjoskin The Happy Honey Mask is a real treat! I fell into the hype and fell in love! This is a yummy pudding type mask. It only has 6 ingredients: honey, coix-Lacryma jobi (coix seed), kaolin clay, glycerine, propanediol and calamine. You leave it on for 15-30 minutes, then rinse. Afterwards your face just looks healthy! For me this mask is worth it. They use raw honey from Karlstad, Sweden. It is cruelty free, free of sulphates, parabens, SLS, silicones, petrochemicals and mineral oil. Also they donate towards saving the bees! I ordered this mask and it arrived in 4 days from Sweden, which is seriously fast to NZ! I can see this becoming one of my favourites.

These are my go to self tan products. luna bronze and ecotan ,these two brands are natural, vegan and cruelty free. I try not to go overboard with fake tan, but these two brands have been the best I have found so far to give me a nice tan without looking to “fake”. Both mouse products give me a richer looking tan and I use the gradual to maintain for a few extra days.

A bit of make up mess today. Some products that I am currently loving. toofaced Born this way foundation and concealer. Very natural looking I just dab with a beauty blender where my face needs coverage.. tarte In Bloom Palette. This palette is so lovely and such a nice everyday natural palette. It also has more Matte options and only 3 shimmer shades.. toofaced Shadow insurance. One of my go to eye primer for years, I get oily lids and this makes my shadows stay put. Better than Sex Mascara (name still makes me cringe a little) I use the waterproof to help hold my curl. I find once the mascara drys a little it works much better. hourglass Arch Brow Volumnising Fiber Gel. Nice brow gel to fill in my hairs. anastasiabeverlyhills Dipbrow promade in medium brown. I use this to define my brows more slightly. I love this stuff and seriously it lasts for ever!
