Always in my cabinet
I’ve been using this cleanser for YEARS. I love all things murad, and though I cycle through their other products, this is one that I will not be without or replace. This is hands down the best acne cleanser I’ve ever used. I use it in conjunction with my Clarisonic Mia 2 (which is now discontinued). 10000% recommend for anyone struggling with moderate acne . Give it a try, and remember, be PATIENT ! Murad - Clarifying Cleanser

the ONE thing that my dermatologist says...
... it to go to a dermatologist if you have skin problems! and BE PATIENT. ✨ A licensed professional like a dermatologist, esthetician, or aesthetician is the best person to go to if you’re stuggling with acne or skin problems. Don’t trust every brand that touts clear skin products, particularly Clean and Clear and St. Ives. boo them. ✨ Me? I am oily and acne prone, and used to have a ton of nodules and deep set blemishes. It has taken years to get to the skin i have now. i learned the hard way not to scrub and dry out my skin. ✨ the product in my picture is Adapalene 0.3% which is prescription only. You can buy a weaker version called DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel that does the same thing. Adapalene is a type of retinoid that encourages skin cell turnover, helping both scars and active scne. ✨ I also currently use SEPHORA COLLECTION - Clear Skin Days by Clarifying Serum Murad - Clarifying Cleanser
Please critique my skincare routine!
Disclaimer: very new to this app, not exactly sure if i’m doing this right 😂 I was hoping that a kind soul could give me some feedback on my skincare routine! I’m not sure whether or not to add or remove any of these, so any help is much appreciated! Step 1: To cleanse, I use the Murad - Clarifying Cleanser ! On days I wear makeup, I do a double cleanse adding sulfur soap since it’s much gentler on the skin. I do one cleanse in the morning, and two at night. This process sometimes does leave my skin feeling a bit dry, especially after a double cleanse, but on their own, have worked wonders for treating my pesky mask acne :) Step 2: I use the SK-II - Facial Treatment Clear Lotion Toner I dab it on a soft face towel and use it on my T zone, as well as any acne spots I have. I absolutely looove this product and have definitely seen results as described, other than my minor breakouts here and there Step 3: I use the SK-II - Facial Treatment Essence (Pitera Essence) For this, I do a couple shakes and pat all over my face. I’ve read a lot of mixed reviews about this product, and whether or not it’s just a gimmick, but since using this product, I have rarely had excessively dry or oily skin, and it has definitely evened out my skin tone, and (before covid/mask wearing) minimized pores! Step 3: (Alternate) I couldn’t find product information on here, but now and then I will use the Ambre Blends Skin Tonic. This is a local Midwest company that started as a fragrance line that I have been wearing for years! I tried the skin tonic when they first released during a time when my skin was extremely dry and flaky. It gave me soooo much hydration and the smell is absolutely amazing! However, it wasn’t so great at keeping my breakouts to a minimum, and I haven’t been able to tell which ingredients caused that. They pride themselves on natural ingredients and I included a slide of the contents of the bottle! Step 4: For under eye serum, I use L'OCCITANE - Immortelle Divine Eye Cream I have extremely dark circles, and I decided to give this a try and it definitely has reduced them a bit! It’s a very soothing and light cream, but I do wish it showed better results! I do this entire routine twice a day, and so far it has seemed to work out for me! I still go through periods of oily skin, and lately with having to wear a mask all the time, my pores have appeared a lot larger :( I also have a constant battle with maskne, but I do occasionally use acne patches ( Rael - MIRACLE PATCH ) The last slide also shows the product I use when I do an occasional face mask. I try to keep this to a minimum, at least 2-3 times a month. I’ve never had better results than the ELEMIS - Papaya Enzyme Peel !
Double cleanse for acne /oily skin ✨
Both products bellow have been re purchases so I definitely recommend! YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser I start off with the youth to the people cleanser when I want to take the day off or start it with a fresh face. I am cautious and mainly use this when I want to strip oil from my face Murad - Clarifying Cleanser Then follow with my clarifying cleanser for a complete double cleanse I also feel like this one strips my skin so this is for a day my make up got super oily and I got a blemish or two. The reason I purchased this was originally to control my acne but it has done its job so well it’s not a daily use anymore
Urban Skin Rx Cleanser
I’ve been using this super gentle cleanser for a few months now. Whenever I need a deeper clean, I reach for this. This cleanser contains AHAs and jojoba beads to polish the skin. My skin is on the oily side of combination (sometimes) and extremely acne-prone. This helps to combat my breakouts when I use it regularly. I would recommend this cleaner over harsher ones. I don’t use this more than 2x a week. No discernible scent and 6oz of product for less than $30.
URBAN SKIN Rx-LacticGlow Micropolish Gentle Cleansing Gel
I’ve tried a lot of cleansers and this is one of them I think helped my cystic acne flare ups a ton! It was gentle enough to use twice if needed some extra help after wearing a full face of makeup. The smell isn’t over powering at all which I loved
FARMACY-Clean Bee Ultra Gentle Facial Cleanser
Happy Valentine’s Day Beautiful Cheries❤️😘🍒 I love new cleansers so I had to purchase this New Amino Gel Cleanser. It’s a gentle (and when I say gentle I mean gentle) gel cleanser that treats skin to a restoring cocktail of 11 amino acids with a splash of sea water. This is a vegan 🌱 product, it smells good, a very refreshing scent & I actually really love the gel formulation. The day this product was released I watched the founders of Summer Friday on Sephora live talking about how amazing this is going to be for the skin, literally a smoothie for the skin. It was then that I chose to buy it, I’ve used it for three days now and I like the cleanser however, I think it’s too gentle for me currently. My skin concerns are oily & cystic acne so I need something a little stronger. I will continue to use this but I am currently in the middle of a very bad chin breakout so I am going to need to use something stronger than this until my skin clears up. Do I recommend this product??? Yes, I do, although I thought it was a little pricey for a cleanser at $38.00 a bottle. I love ho Summer Fridays has a recycling program and they use recyclable products, this is a glass bottle and I think the packaging is so beautiful!!SUMMER FRIDAYS - Super Amino Gel Cleanser
SUMMER FRIDAYS-Super Amino Gel Cleanser
+Tea Tree Rose Foaming Cleanser+ <2020 Empties>
Foaming Cleanser has it’s pros and cons. There are great for oily skin but, not for dry and sensitive skin. I began using this foam in the summer August of 2019, during the summer my skin is very oily and more sensitive to breakouts. I decided to give honey belle - Foaming Facial Soap W/ Tea Tree Essentials a try. This contains tea tree oil and rose. Tea tree oil is great for acne prone skin because it is anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. Rose helps maintain skin’s pH balance and helps with excess oil. I really like that it controlled the excess oil and helped with any breakouts from getting worse but, I did felt my skin was dry after using it. I realized that these two ingredients are great by themselves. Together they over dry the skin and tea tree oil is overpowering the the Rose. Overall, I suggest using this product during the summer rather the winter. Great for oily and acne prone skin types. If I were to purchase this I’ll purchase for the summer. What do you think about foaming cleanser?

Awesome Creamy Cleanser
Details: 💚 Mamonde's Micro Deep Cleansing Foam is lightweight, mild and powered with self-purifying Lotus Flower Extract that washes away 98.8% of pore-clogging dirt, dust and excess residue. • Infused with nature's dirt-magnet Konjac, the formula draws out impurities from pores and clears them at once. • Complexion looks and feels more refreshed. • Vegan certified 💚💭💚 I REALLY like this cleanser. It's a very smooth and creamy texture that foam nicely. A little DEFINITELY goes a long way (I used tooooo much, see pics) you only need about a done size to cover your face and neck. It's very hydrating and doesn't strip your skin. I was nervous about the scent but it didn't irritate, cause inflammation or breakouts which is a plus! Because you only need a little, this product will last a while. This one is a keeper!!
